PROSPERITY

INTEGRITY

Your Prosperity
From Richard Shakarian

Let’s settle it, God wants you to be Blessed.
Start believing today – for a special Blessing of favor that will open the door to greater finances.

From Jesus,
“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33

Our team members who leave work and home to go to our Fire Teams and other outreaches for souls, this next word is for you:

From Jesus,
“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.” Matthew 19:29

Yes God wants you to be blessed and satisfied in this life as you put God 1st and take delight in the Lord.

From King David,
“Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

From The Message Bible,
“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers – most of which are never even seen – don’t you think he’ll attend to you , take pride in you, do His best for you?
What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way He works fuss over these things, but you know both God, and how He works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative,
God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.” Matthew 6:30-33

Let the Holy Spirit be your everyday guide. He will help you in your relationship with your family, your finances and especially in bringing other people to Christ.

FGBMFI has changed thousands of lives for the better. Now, many are prospering in their own businesses and lives throughout the world.

WALTER’S NOTE:

GOD WANTS INTEGRITY FROM HIS PEOPLE AND NOT JUST TO GIVE THEM PROSPERITY.  EVANGELISTS/PREACHERS WHO DON’T HAVE ANY INTEGRITY LOVE TALKING ABOUT PROSPERITY BECAUSE IT APPEALS TO THE LUST OF THE PEOPLE!

The Law Of Truth Was In His Mouth

“My covenant was with him, one of life and peace, And I gave them to him that he might fear Me;  So he feared Me  And was reverent before My name.  The law of truth was in his mouth, And injustice was not found on his lips.  He walked with Me in peace and equity,  And turned many away from iniquity. “For the lips of a priest should keep knowledge,  And people should seek the law from his mouth;  For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts. Malachi 2:5-7

Jesus came to the earth and He healed and delivered people. He loved people and wanted to dispel the darkness in their lives. He wanted them whole. He wanted them free and He provided it in His gift to them on the Cross. He gave them His Power. The Holy Comforter is our daily comforter because of what Jesus did on the Cross.  When I was a child, I walked, talked and behaved as a child but when I became a man I put away childish ways. For many are called but few are chosen. They hear the clarion call of the gospel and they respond. But along the way they return to their childish ways and stray far from God. An inch might as well be a long mile from God.

Men walk in their integrity but there are few who attain the level of God’s integrity. The men who can walk in His integrity have retained their child like faith with manly dignity. They have learned to remain who they are in Him and do not promote themselves. They have learned true qualities of Christian character and live by those virtues. They walk by His Spirit and are lead by Him.  Is it possible for a Christian to truly live as Jesus did in one hundred percent self-control and victory over self and the enemy?  The answer is resoundingly ‘yes!’ Yes, by virtue of the fact that God is all powerful and He is able to empower people to walk the walk and do what‘s right before all men. He has given us His secret weapon—Jesus!

Through Jesus and His truth He has given us the weapons of our warfare. They are not carnal but spiritual. Our own character and integrity is a force to be used as a weapon against the enemy. The enemy within can be conquered. We are not alone. We are not the only one. We are able by God’s Spirit and His grace to defeat the enemies within us. The enemy of self-centeredness, criticism, negativity, anger and rage, unforgiveness, immorality, lust, self-deceivement and so on.   Our struggle is a never ending battle. Each day we must take up our Cross and follow Him. But we can win in this fight! Every time we say the right thing, every time we love ourselves or someone else properly, every time we react with compassion or proper judgment and do it both in love and righteousness.  This is true Christianity.

There was not just one side to Jesus. He was always righteous both in His love reactions and His judgment reactions. He remained firm against His body and soul. He was in total control of His life and actions and attitudes. At the deciding point of His life—in the garden. He did the Will of the Father and retained His throne at the God’s Right Hand. Yet, His motivation was not from selfish ambition. He really did love us enough to die for us and give us a fresh start. All those who turn to Him and love Him with all their heart, soul and mind have that fresh start.

Whether we keep our first love with God is up to each one of us. Will our motives for what we do in a day be based on our usual selfish desire and carnality. Or are we going to serve the Great I Am in the Spirit or in truth, walking by His power and doing what He told us to do each day of our lives? Each day these choices and decisions remain ours. If a thought enters our head and has nothing to do with godliness and doesn’t line up with God’s truth we can be sure it is not a good thing.

Many people have the attitude ‘I thought this, therefore it must be truth, or important. This is not truth. The Bible says we must take every thought and lay it at the foot of the Cross. We can take every thought into captivity, analysis it and decide it is a good or bad thing and what action we should take because of it. Bad thoughts should be rejected and forgotten and replaced with God’s truth and His praises.  The illuminating Word of God quickly dispels the darkness of that thought. God’s truth and power pierces through the darkness in your life and brings real healing and change. Healing of all things in our life, including, lack of love and self-worth, lack of self-esteem, and all forms of rejection by the Power and Presence of Jesus in a wounded spirit.

If we expect perfection in ourselves we will never find it. Only Jesus is our perfection and beauty and protection.  His word is true:

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,  that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption- that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”  1 Corinthians 1:27-31

Jesus Christ Himself in the power of the Holy Spirit, the greater one in us has now become for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. When we understand this truth and humbly act on it we shall never be the same nor defeated any more. The deception of men is that they think they are so wonderful when they are not. They think they can achieve anything without God. They built great towers and monuments to themselves and then ask why He is upset with their inventions. They don’t understand they were doing it to exalt themselves and forgot their Creator. They forgot to worship Him, to thank Him, to love Him for who He is to them. They forgot their Lord and Savior.

God divided men’s language and shattered them across the earth because their desire was not towards Him but themselves. It seems as though it’s a broken record, repeating itself over and over and over again. Men are doing what they have desired to do for centuries without thought of what God truly desired that they do. Even religious ones are doing their own thing and asking God to bless it and make it His will.  Men may decide or desire certain things but ultimately God is the deciding factor in an equation they rarely see. They don’t consider Him. They think He doesn’t exist. They think He didn’t make what He said He made. They think man evolved when he was generated by God’s Power and His very Breath.

So, men will think what men will think and God will think what God will think and we will see the final outcome. For most it will not be what they expected. For few it will be unexpected. For a very, very few it will be as expected and properly rewarded.  Safe haven comes to those who wait upon God; to those who are dedicated to His service and recognize their own finiteness. The greatest enemy of all of God’s people is deception. Whether it is self-deception or general malice it is still deception.  The only way to avoid this deception is to get on our knees humble ourselves and admit we are wrong and unworthy of God. Then, with God we can build on this foundation, restructuring our lives into something that will be profitable, pliable and usable.

The greatest enemy to humility is pride and self reliance; pride which is as the sin of witchcraft, fear which takes many forms and many phobias; self-reliance which says, I can do it my own way I don’t need God or His truth. In the bible God’s Word, He outlines the things that both help and hinder a relationship with Him. It is important that His people avail themselves of these truths and live by them in order to bring about great change in their lives. Without them, change is impossible.  The greatest changer in their lives is the Holy Spirit. He makes real the life giving force present in God’s Words. He quickens the truth to a person’s spirit and helps them to understand the importance of it and how to live it in a daily way. He is a life force all by Himself but His objective is to help humanity receive the truth through the third part of their person—their inner spirit. Man is a triune being just as God is a triune being. Man is body, soul and spirit. God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The parallel is obvious. What man does not understand is the deep importance of these many parts that come together in spiritual wholeness.

Man must recognize he has a Heavenly Father who knows and understands all things. He has a Savior in Jesus his Messiah and future King. He needs the presence of the Holy Spirit in his life to bring about real change and realization of truth. Also, he has to see he is not only body and mind or soul but he is spirit. Man is supernatural spirit that once he comes into existence will live on forever. Where he lives on forever is up to him but he will live on. If he accepts and lives by the Messiah and his teachings he will live on in Heaven should he meet the conditions. If he does not accept the Messiah he will live on but in another less desirable place.

Many people can’t even admit there is a hell. They can’t imagine He would have created such a place where people would have to go. It was never God’s desire or His intention. But men have left Him with decisions to make that are undesirable. God has given free will to men and if they don’t choose Him, He has chosen for them. It may seem unfair but it is the consequence for not accepting Him. It grates against many philosophies. But when one reads the entirety of the Bible one understands the entire picture better and can see God’s logic. Is God the sovereign Lord of the universe or not? Yes, He is the Lord and what He says goes no matter what men think or approve of. He doesn’t need men’s approval to be God. He is the “I Am who I Am.” All of man’s logic doesn’t fit into a thimble full of His Wisdom. One is night and the other is day. The two will never meet in any semblance of oneness.

Just as we can’t put new wine into old wine skins, we can’t fit God into man’s logic or traditions. He just doesn’t fit. We have to conform to His ways. We have to change our thinking. We have to embrace His truth and recognize it is the only answer for our lives that makes any sense.  For in God’s world, there could not be so much violence, war, famine, slavery, selfishness, that we have today amongst us.  But He, the God of all love and compassion and grace, demands something of us. That we lay down our ways and embrace His ways. That we recognize we are wrong and imperfect without Him. That we admit we need a real change and open ourselves to receive that change. Then, we become more like Him and can make a difference in the world around us.

From the greatest to the least, God has provided a way of escape that we may be able to bare the temptations of life but they are real and the only true Answer is Jesus. Let no one say he was tempted of God because this is simply not true. God tempts no man to do evil. Man is taken by his own desires, whims, passions and thoughts. It is interesting to see how many walk in non violence. Yet some of them end up in terrible violence or retribution. They thought they would escape but they didn’t. They thought their sins were not as bad as the other’s sins.

All sin is separation from God. Let no man say he can exist outside of God or accomplish anything of lasting value without Him. This is simply not true. He is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except by Him. No, man can’t do things on his own. He needs the Holy Presence to change him and make him whole.  Let no man say he is true when he is false. Let no man say he is pure when he is putrid. Let no man say he is spiritual, when he is carnal? Let each know who he really is and what he must do to change his ways. It is possible because Jesus Christ is alive and well.   God’s word is unchanging:

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,  and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:12-17

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

TRUST IN THE LORD

AA
Jesus Christ is the Way Maker

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. Proverbs 4:18-19

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, And He ponders all his paths. Proverbs 5:21

God in Christ Jesus is the only Way-maker. The enemy would have many people on many and varied tangents except the place God wants them most to be in. That place He has ordained would fulfill His greatest purpose for their lives. This place is where most people are not. They have continued in their own path and agenda forgetting to ask Him what He wants them to do. Every decision of life should be discussed with Him before it’s clear where or what people should be doing. He should be the desire of their heart. He should be the one they want to please and not themselves. Financial success goes to many people’s heads because they have not asked Him what they should do with it or with it in relation to their lives. Then, they would be truly successful in Him and walk in Him purpose for them and they would find their deepest happiness there.

A close personal relationship with God is possible for everyone who knows Him, if they understand the great importance of such an involvement with Him. He has all the answers they need to live life successfully. Live as He desires them to live it not as the world dictates. They need to be discerning between His voice and their own desires or the voices of demons. They can do this with practice and experience. Then they will be free to flow in Him and walk by His statutes and commandments. They will do it naturally. It will come out of them easily.

Those who flow in Him begin to glow in Him and everyone around them will want what they have and ask how they can have it for themselves. This is the better way to serve Him and walk in Him. Then witnessing will flow like a river out of them because the love and discernment will be there. Right attitudes of forgiveness and discretion will be there. The best approach to each person will be there and easily accomplished. God’s children must flow with Him. He has all the answers. They are to go to Him and ask Him and He will give them the Kingdom. For His word is true:

“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. “For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. “But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. “Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Luke 12:29-34

What a different world we would have if all of God’s people were really working and exercising themselves to real change in their spirits through the power of the Presence of the Holy Spirit. It’s possible by the Blood of the Lamb and a sold out commitment on their part to face their worst fears and carry on in His service no matter what. The road may be froth with pitfalls but the Spirit of the Lord is their anchor and defense against the enemies they face.

God has promised and given His authority and power in the midst of the storms. The enemy is defeated because they will never admit defeat. For Jesus Christ has an only conqueror in His army. They will not be defeated if they will hear what the Spirit says to them: For His word is true:

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ‘ Revelation 2:17

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ‘ Revelation 3:5-6

Those who over come will not have their name blotted out from the book of life and Jesus Christ will confess their name before His Father and before His angels. But to many the Lord will say even this day:

These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. “Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’-and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ‘ ” Revelation 3:15-22

Rebuke, chastening and repentance are words that are missing in the lives of many of God’s people. God is not asking for perfection but for change and faithfulness to Him and His word… If a person expects perfection in him or her self they will never find it. Only God in Christ Jesus is their perfection and beauty and protection and provision. Only He is capable of moving every mountain in their way out of the road and bringing true prosperity, even in a way they never expected for He is their Heavenly Father. He is their Creator and Provider. He is the Way-Maker in the midst of the storm. He is in the boat with them as He was with many servants before them He is with them. As they listen to Him, the things that are contrary to Him or His word He will show it to them. They can count on it. But He will also fulfill His word and give them many things as promised in His word:

‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. For Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting That there is none besides Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD, do all these things.’ Isaiah 45:2-7

The road of life for God true ones is protected by many angelic hosts–legions of angels meant to protect His true remnant soldiers. They do not march alone or to their own tune. They march to His tune and serve Him in spirit and in truth. They desire all of His truth and hunger for it as one hunger for real food. The health His truth brings runs true to all He promises to His children. His life is health to their very bones. It is healing and covenant blessings. It is strength in the midst of the storm. It is victory in battle. It is courage in the face of the enemy–mainly man. It is wisdom in the hour of debate or moment of truth. For God loves them and is in charge of their life. Even when they are walking through some fires and going through some storms, they are to be happy He is with them and for them and not against them.

God true ones must walk in His path He has laid out for them to go in. Expect Him to lead and guide and uplift them. They are to turn to Him and He will give them rest in the storm so they could sleep during its passing as Jesus did. So that they can step out on the water and remain in faith and trust. So that they could face life with boldness and assurance and peace. So that they could fight in the battles of life with confidence and wisdom. For as Apostle Paul had stated:

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:11-13

As they keep on trusting Him and walking in Him, He will heal them and give them strength and more wisdom and more of His gifts and more of His person and more of His power and more of His courage and boldness. God is more able to supply all their needs from all the riches in Glory through which they have in Christ Jesus. He is able to meet their needs and supply them and provide an over abundance. This God loves to do for those who care about righteousness, truth and true justice. For those who want what is right and want what He wants. For those who care about Him their God and care about what He cares about. Such as these will have all the desires of their hearts.

The way sometimes will be difficult and precarious. The road will be rocky and uncertain before them. The road seems never-ending in front of them. But it does have a turn off and get off here sign for them. It does end in promise like the Rainbow with Jesus being the pot of Gold. It does have all the riches and provisions God has promised to those who have started the long and tedious journey with Him. Nothing is without risk and pain. All that is worthwhile bears the marks of pain and suffering in them. It is not to be desired but it is to be expected. The way may be long and hard but the results are written in eternity. They will have a great reward for all their sacrifices. God will repay them generously for their hardship on His behalf even in the current time of life. He will not let them go without proper rewards.

God is on the Move! He is marching against the forces of darkness and His army is right along side Him. The enemy is in full retreat though he thinks otherwise. He is trying to regroup but he is not very successful. The battle is the Lord’s and great is His Victory! He is defeating the enemy. His brave soldiers are to keep on and are not to forget that He Himself is with them in every battle of life and every storm of adversity. He has never lost an ounce of His power or might. His own presence and person is with them and one day their struggles will be over. But the reward they will have will be very great! For God’s word is true:

“Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, “who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time-houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions-and in the age to come, eternal life. Mark 10:29-30

But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness-indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God. Romans 2:5-11

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

MAN OF GOD

BH
A TRUE MAN OF GOD FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL REBUKE AND CURSE THOSE WHO PERVERT THE TRUE WAYS OF THE LORD. A TRUE MAN OF GOD FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT DOES THE SAME AS APOSTLE PAUL DID EXPOSING AND CURSING FALSE ONES. YES, PAUL CALLED A PERSON “YOU SON OF THE DEVIL”

ACTS 13:9-13 NOW, SAUL ALSO KNOWN AS PAUL, FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, LOOKED THE SORCERER IN THE EYE AND SAID, “YOU SON OF THE DEVIL, FULL OF EVERY SORT OF TRICKERY AND VILLAINY, ENEMY OF ALL THAT IS GOOD, WILL YOU NEVER STOP PERVERTING THE TRUE WAYS OF THE LORD? AND NOW THE LORD HAS LAID HIS HAND OF PUNISHMENT UPON YOU, AND YOU WILL BE STRICKEN AWHILE WITH BLINDNESS”. INSTANTLY MIST AND DARKNESS FELL UPON HIM AND HE BEGAN WANDERING AROUND BEGGING FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE HIS HAND AND LEAD HIM. WHEN THE GOVERNOR SAW WHAT HAPPENED, HE BELIEVED AND WAS ASTONISHED AT WHAT HE LEARNED ABOUT THE LORD.

THE ROOT PROBLEMS OF MOST CHRISTIANS IS Jeremiah 2:13 ” For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns — broken cisterns that can hold no water.

IT IS TO BE NOTED THAT THE BIBLE CLEARLY COMMANDS US TO EXPOSE THINGS AND PUT AWAY PEOPLE

EPHESIANS 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),
10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
14 Therefore He says: ” Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,
20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.

1 CORINTHIANS 5:9 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.
10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner — not even to eat with such a person.
12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?
13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

THE BIBLE ALSO COMMANDS US TO REBUKE CHRISTIANS ALSO AND PUBLICALLY

1 Timothy 5:20 Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Titus 1:13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

Titus 2:15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Hebrews 12:5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: ” My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

But Be Of Good Cheer

FA
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

When diseases, hostilities, sufferings, tribulations, scorn, abuse and loneliness impose terrible problems in our life, when our feet stumble, the Holy Spirit is there to help us, to comfort us and to give us victory! The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus Christ from the dead and did miracles through Jesus is there to help, heal, and deliver us and do miracles through us. He comforts us in all our tribulation so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. The same Holy Spirit who strengthened, changed and empowered the disciples is in us and with us to help us for our sufficiency is from God. God’s word is unchanging:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:2-4

Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you? You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart. And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Corinthians 3:1-6

Yes, our help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth and is more than enough to handle any tribulation or affliction that comes our way! He is after all a miracle working God! The LORD is our keeper; our shade at your right hand. He shall preserve us from all evil; He shall preserve our soul. He shall preserve our going out and our coming in! He shall bless, heal, deliver and prosper us and meet and supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. His word is unchanging:

“And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him “and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10

I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. Psalm 34:4-10

Yes, we trust not in ourselves but in God who raises the dead and delivers the righteous of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:18-19). None of those who trust in Him shall be put to shame. God’s word is unchanging:

But Israel shall be saved by the LORD With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever. Isaiah 45:17

Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.” Isaiah 49:23

“For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. Isaiah 50:7

The cross of Calvary where Jesus bled and died proved that God cannot be defeated and nether can those who trust in Him. There is victory at the cross for all who are weary and heavy laden, for all who are sick and for all who have a financial need. God’s trusting ones can drop all of their burdens at the cross. Put everything under the blood that is weighing them down. There is power in the blood of Jesus to save, heal and deliver from all devil’s bondage and oppressions. They are to trust God’s power with all of their heart and be free in soul, mind and body. Yes they can believe for God to do for them what no other power will do for it’s their Father’s good pleasure to supply all of their needs and make them whole and to be a blessing!

Prosperity, protection, promotion, honor and deliverance comes to those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High, set their love upon the Lord and know His name. Such as these abide under the shadow of the Almighty, are satisfied with long life, and the Lord shows them His salvation (Psalm 91:14-16). They have God’s word on it, the word of a Gentleman, who doesn’t lie! Those who don’t hear God’s voice and don’t walk in His ways are not guaranteed God’s richest blessings. The measure they measure to God and to others is measured back to them. They have God’s word on it:

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” 2 Chronicles 16:9

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Will a lion roar in the forest, when he has no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den, if he has caught nothing? Will a bird fall into a snare on the earth, where there is no trap for it? Will a snare spring up from the earth, if it has caught nothing at all? If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the LORD have done it? Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy? Amos 3:2-8

Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. “For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” Mark 4:24-25

THE MIND OF CHRIST

bb
We haven’t just had a portion of Christ’s wisdom transferred to us; we have the mind of Christ, the same Holy Spirit that Jesus had, and the power of God to demonstrate our faith:

1 Corinthians 2: 1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written: ” Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
16 For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Redeemed From Every Type Of Sickness

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), Galatians 3:13

The One who cleansed lepers, opened blind eyes and made the lame to walk took your sins, sicknesses and every curse when He hung on Calvary’s tree. The curses that were meant for you because of your sins fell on Him instead. He was cursed in your place to redeem you from every curse that comes as a result of breaking God’s laws.

What are these curses? They are listed in Deuteronomy 28. It is a long and detailed list. Don’t get frightened when you read the curses, but rejoice because Christ has redeemed you from every single one of them, including those curses of sicknesses!

Are you stricken with tuberculosis, fever or inflammation? (Deuteronomy 28:22) Christ has redeemed you from every one of these conditions!

Do you have painful boils, tumors or an itch which doctors say cannot be healed? (Deuteronomy 28:27) Christ has redeemed you from every one of these conditions!

Perhaps yours is a serious and prolonged sickness. (Deuteronomy 28:59) It doesn’t matter. Christ has redeemed you from every prolonged sickness!

“Well, Pastor, you have covered tuberculosis, fever, itch… but what about my disease? It is not covered in Deuteronomy 28. Did Jesus forget my disease?”

No, His work is perfect! Look at Deuteronomy 28:61: “Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed.” That covers everything. So if Christ has redeemed you from this curse, then He has redeemed you from every type of sickness! I don’t care what new type of sickness the world discovers because Christ has redeemed us from every type of sickness!

Now, if you have a particular sickness, say, “This (name the sickness) is part of the curse of the law. But Galatians 3:13 says that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I have been redeemed from (name the sickness)!” Believe and confess that every day, and as surely as Jesus took every curse of sickness, your healing will break forth!

Thought For The Day
As surely as Jesus took every curse of sickness, your healing will break forth!

IDIOTS SAY THEY HAVE THE POWER AND THE BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT BUT CANNOT DEMONSTRATE IT? HOW COME?

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.8 And there was great joy in that city.

You Have It, So Say It!

‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. Matthew 25:29

Have you come across people who have little, yet even that little is taken away from them? On the other hand, there are those who already have much, yet they receive even more.

Jesus said, “To everyone who has, more will be given. From him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.” Notice that Jesus doesn’t go on to say what it is we have. He simply says, “But to everyone who has.”

Jesus is talking about a firm belief in God’s Word that gives one the courage to say, “I have it!” If you say that you have it, you have it, and more will be given to you. But if you say that you don’t have it, when you actually do because God has freely given us all things (Romans 8:32), then even what you have will be taken away — not by God but by the devil! The devil does not want you to walk in God’s blessings. So when you say that you don’t have it, he can rob you of your blessings because he has your agreement!

When you need something, God says that you are to ask of Him. And when you ask, believe that you receive it. (Mark 11:24) Say you already have it even if you don’t see it in the physical realm yet, and one day, you will see it!

God is not saying, “Oh come on, pretend that you see it. And if you pretend long enough, you will have it.” This is not a game! God is telling us to call forth those things which don’t exist as though they do. (Romans 4:17)

Today, we are talking about the haves and have-nots in the church. If you believe that it is yours, you will have it. You will see yourself possessing it and enjoying it, and more will be given to you. But if you say, “Well, I don’t feel it and I’m not sure if it will come,” in essence, you are saying that you don’t have it when you actually do. Then, even what you have will be taken away. So say you have it today!

Thought For The Day
If you believe that it is yours, you will have it.

Unchangeable Truths!

bcJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.1 John 5:1

There are two unchangeable important truths in the bible that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. The basis of our salvation is not only that God in Christ Jesus is unchangeable but If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also (1 John 4:20-21). Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him (1 John 3:15).

Those who say they are Christian and practice discrimination with a brother or prejudice to a brother need not worry about anything else in life because they are in deep trouble with God until they repent even if they speak with the tongues of men and of angels, have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, have all faith, so that they could remove mountains, bestow all their goods to feed the poor, and give their body to be burned, it profits them nothing. And nothing means nothing! As a matter of fact Jesus said about murderers:

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:18

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. Revelation 22:15

Yes, those who hate their brother are murderers and are no different then the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars who shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. The New Testament didn’t change God at all but it only changed how we can approach God. It also simplified the Ten Commandments to be Two Commandments:

Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. “And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Matthew 12:28-33

If we continually break these Two Commandments of God and until we repent and confess our sin God will not bless us For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries (Hebrews 10:26-27). God’s word is unchanging:

Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. Genesis 12:1-5

Those who hate and curse the seed of Abraham, especially Christians who have put their trust in Christ have become enemies of God, not His friends. As a result He will curse them as promised! By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. And by the same word of the Lord they are all sustained. And by the same word the blessings of the Lord or curses come to men! For His loving ones God has promised to heal them and to put all the curses on their enemies and on those who hate them. His word is unchanging:

“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you. Deuteronomy 7:15

“If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. “Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. “And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. “Also the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. “And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today. “The LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the LORD will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, “if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 30:4-10

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

For those in whom Jesus is preeminent in their life, God able to make all grace abound toward them, that they, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. Jesus became poor on the cross so that they could be rich and abound in all the work of their hands and have great increases. Prosperity is part of the atonement and their spiritual right. They do have to live below their covenant rights and can be prosperous and successful in all things. Every weapon of Satan planned for them will turn on him and they will be more than a conqueror filled with blessings from God. All spiritual and natural blessings are theirs as inheritors of the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. God’s word is unchanging:

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-15

Yes, even this day God will perform miracles for His trusting ones. The battle belongs to the Lord! He will fight for them. He will revive their bodies again and restore all that they have lost. He who raised Lazarus from death will help them as well, as they turn their eyes towards Jesus. He will lift them up from the valley of thee shadow of death and bring them into a new and fruitful day. God’s word is unchanging:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. John 14:12-18

A MATTER OF CHOICE

BF

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21

Jesus held nothing back when He spoke to the Pharisaical ones. He was not pleasant with them and He did not mince about with words. He told them exactly what He thought of them and where they stood with God. He called them all sort of things including vipers and snakes and said to them:

“Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. John 8:43-45

The last thing that deceived ones want to know is the truth. Why? Because their deeds are evil and they do not want to come to the light lest their deeds be exposed. Less others may clearly see that their deeds have not been done in God.  Many redemptionists teach us that God came to save everybody through the proclamation of the good news of the gospel. But Jesus never went the extra mile to convince or convert a Pharisaical one. As a matter of fact Jesus said on this subject:

And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains. John 9:39-41

The word of God teaches us that God has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts and turn to God so that He  should heal them. God’s word records:

But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:  “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,  Lest they should see with their eyes,  Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,  So that I should heal them.”  These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. John 12:37-43

In Jesus day and even in our day not many Pharisaical ones were converted. Primarily because of arrogance and pride and desire for the praise of men rather than a real desire for God and all that He has to offer.  Many only want what God has to offer as long as it suits their hidden agendas for riches, prosperity and fame. But as soon as suffering and persecution arises because of God and His word they pull back and create a theology to justify their comfort zone.

One of the great causes of deceivment is a rejection of God’s truth and light in any area. The automatic consequence is that darkness and deceivment comes in. Slowly an inch might as well be a mile for the person for he or she putting other things as primary importance be it doctrines rather than Jesus and the Father. God’s word states:

Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. “And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. “I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.
“And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. John 12:44-49

It is the words of Jesus that He speaks by the command of the Father which are important and not those of men. This is some thing that many chose not to appreciate nor understand. For it’s the words and things that the Holy Spirit makes real and gives life to which are important. For God’s word is true:

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you 1 John 2:27

Anything that is not taught or checked with the Holy Spirit becomes a liability and not an asset and could have some serious negative consequences to that person. Sincerity and presumption are no friends of those who go through a red light at a busy intersection.  There must be a real willingness to check all things with the Holy Spirit and reject anything that does not confirm with His words. Again God’s word is true:

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  “Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ‘”And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matthew 7:13-29

The bottom line is that storms of life will come to every one to test and see if the person has heard the words of Jesus and has done them. Those who are left standing after the storm are God’s true ones and those who have fallen are false ones.   Each person makes a choice whether to act on the word of God that is spoken by the Holy Spirit or not. Those who do not act are only deceived ones.  Apostle James clearly instructed the children of God:

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. James 1:22-25

Now Jesus taught on how it is possible to become deceived by having a bad eye which results from serving God and mammon:

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; “and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? ”
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ “For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:22-34

Spiritual blindness and deceivement comes from the love of money, prominence and fame and not being faithful with what has been entrusted to God’s own for good stewardship. Jesus stated:.

“So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. “And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?
“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”
Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:8-15

God is not fooled by any one and He knows the hearts of men including the Pharisaical ones even in the house of God. People get deceived because they chose the love of money over the love of God and being faithful. They literally end up departing from the faith they once had as a result of it. For God’s word is true:

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:9-10

Those who love money and desire to be rich fall into temptation and snares of different kinds. Seeking and doing true justice, righteousness and truth, having integrity and obeying God’s commandments given by the Holy Spirit are subjected to a secondary consideration while personal profit becomes the primary goal.  This is something that King Saul did when he disobeyed the word of God to go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they had , and not to spare them. But he was to kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ God’s word records:

And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. 1 Samuel 15:7-9

As a result God greatly regretted  that He  had set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following God , and had not performed His commandment. After the battle Saul went to Carmel,  to set up a monument for himself when prophet Samuel confronted Saul and said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.”
Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.” So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the LORD anoint you king over Israel? “Now the LORD sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’ “Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the LORD?”
And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 1 “But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”
Then Samuel said:  “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,  As in obeying the voice of the LORD?  Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,  And to heed than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,  And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of the LORD,  He also has rejected you from being king.” 1 Samuel 15:16-23

Saul for the love of prominence, riches and fame rejected the word of the Lord and was rejected by the Lord from being king. His end was worse than His beginning as the Lord turned His face from Saul. God replaced him with a better man  with a man after His own heart who would listen to His voice and obey His commands. Nevertheless God’s word is true:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked;  Who can know it? , the LORD, search the heart,  I test the mind,  Even to give every man according to his ways,  According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9-10

If anyone has an ear, let him hear Revelations 13:9

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14

Gods Will Is Healing http://www.scribd.com/doc/12404063/

I WILL RESTORE

abI Will Restore

Why do you cry about your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable. Because of the multitude of your iniquities,  Because your sins have increased,  I have done these things to you.  ‘Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured;  And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity;  Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey. For I will restore health to you  And heal you of your wounds,’ says the LORD, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion;  No one seeks her.” ‘ Jeremiah 30:15-17

The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,  And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.  “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,  The crawling locust,  The consuming locust,  And the chewing locust,  My great army which I sent among you.  You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,  And praise the name of the LORD your God,  Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.   Joel 2:24-26

God is not only the Great Healer, Deliverer and Provider, but He is also the Great Restorer.  For after all He is the one who raised Jesus Christ from the dead after the world had done its worst to Him and restored everything back to Jesus. God’s word records:

“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. “Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.  “And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”  Acts 5:30-32

Calvary is a proof of God’s love for man in that God has restored man to fellowship with Him through the blood and death of His only innocent begotten son. Calvary is also proof that there is nothing that God can not defeat nor destroy including demons and death.  Mind you Calvary is also proof that God brings judgment on those who deserve it just like Jesus prophesied. God’s word records:

Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. “For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, “and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Then He went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it, saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”  Luke 19:41-46

God’s other ministers the Romans governing authorities an avenger to execute wrath on those who practice evil destroyed and leveled Jerusalem and the temple as well as the nation of Israel. Nations, people and individuals, do not consider that there are real consequences for their evil works even in the current time of life. But God’s word is true:

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.  Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil.

Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.  For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Romans 13:1-4

Now some men readily want to forgive everybody for anything and everything so that they would be forgiven for anything and everything and not have to face the consequences of their sins and deeds and be restored back to health or wealth with out pain, sorrow and suffering. But real life does not go this way. When King David sinned he suffered and had a broken and contrite heart. As a result he stated:

Have mercy upon me, O God,  According to Your lovingkindness;  According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,  Blot out my transgressions.  Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,  And cleanse me from my sin.  For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.  Against You, You only, have I sinned,  And done this evil in Your sight- That You may be found just when You speak,  And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,  And in sin my mother conceived me.  Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,  And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;  Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Make me hear joy and gladness,  That the bones You have broken may rejoice.  Hide Your face from my sins,  And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence,  And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,  And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.   Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,  And sinners shall be converted to You.   Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,  The God of my salvation,  And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.  O Lord, open my lips,  And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.  For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;  You do not delight in burnt offering.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,  A broken and a contrite heart- These, O God, You will not despise.  Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;  Build the walls of Jerusalem.  Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. Psalm 51:1-19

Men would do well to heed the words prayed by King David that God does not want sacrifice nor does He delight in burnt offerings. The sacrifices which are acceptable to God are a broken spirit,  and  broken and a contrite heart. For such as these God will create in them a clean heart, renew a steadfast spirit. He will not cast me them away from His presence, nor take the Holy Spirit from them. He will restore to them the joy of His salvation and uphold them by His generous Spirit.  Nevertheless God’s word remains true:

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. “If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:21-23

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death.  There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.  All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.   We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:14-18

Apostle Peter retained the sins of Ananias, and his wife Sapphira who sinned a sin leading unto death.  God’s word records:

But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.  And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.”  Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. Acts 5:1-11

Some people pay for their sins and deeds even with their lives, as Ananias and Sapphira did when they allowed Satan to fill their heart to lie to the Holy Spirit. Men must be carefully for the evil deeds and actions which they commit in their lives especially in dealing with God or His servants, case in point being Miriam. God’s word records:

Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.  So they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it.  (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!” So the three came out.  Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward.
Then He said, “Hear now My words:  If there is a prophet among you,  I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision;  I speak to him in a dream.  Not so with My servant Moses;  He is faithful in all My house.  I speak with him face to face,  Even plainly, and not in dark sayings;  And he sees the form of the LORD.  Why then were you not afraid  To speak against My servant Moses?”
So the anger of the LORD was aroused against them, and He departed.  And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow.
Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.  So Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.  “Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!”
So Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, “Please heal her, O God, I pray!”  Then the LORD said to Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again.”
So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.  Numbers 12:1-15

God’s true anointed prophets and friends are not to be touched by any one or else there will be severe consequences for their foolishness unless they repent and heed the words of Jesus who said:

“But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
“Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. “Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
“Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.  Matthew 5:22-26

All these things are in the Word of God for the benefit, profit and example of men. Those who fail to heed the Word of God have no one else to blame when they find themselves in situations and predicaments they never expected to be. God does not restore fools who ignore His words and His voice. But to those who obey God’s word, walk in His ways, and listen to His voice God will restore all that which the cankerworm had eaten. Case in point is Joseph and Job. Both men who had suffered tremendous losses due to no fault of their own: God’s word records:

“And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him “and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD commanded them; for the LORD had accepted Job.  And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold.

Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.  He also had seven sons and three daughters. Job 42:9-13

God delights to restore all things in abundance and to make the latter days of His true ones better than their beginning. But the choice is up to each man as to whether he shall have profit or loss, promotion or demotion, restoration or destruction.

BE HOLY

DGBE HOLY

1 Peter 1:15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

Revelation 22:11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

TO BE HOLY IS MORE THAN A STATE OF MIND OR AN ATTITUDE OF FAITH. TO BE HOLY IS TO NOT PRACTICE OR DEMONSTRATE THE WORKS OF THE FLESH

GALATIANS 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

HOLINESS DOESN’T COME JUST BY WISHFUL THINKING OR A MAGICAL PRAYER. YOU BY YOUR CHOICES AND ACTIONS PLAY AN INTEGRAL PART IN IT

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ephesians 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

HOLINESS DOESN’T COME FROM JOSEPH PRINCE TEACHINGS OF GRACE

Prince teaches a so-called gospel devoid of Biblical repentance and based on mental assent, as he implies his heretical once saved always saved belief. Just pray a little prayer and you’re forever saved while in your sins. He brushes off the vital necessity of turning away from wickedness by misapplying the meaning of repentance and therefore doesn’t teach saving faith and its accompanying crucifying the flesh (Gal. 5:24). Joseph Prince stated:
Repentance just means changing your mind. When John the Baptist said, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” he was essentially saying, “Change your mind, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” (p. 233)

Permanent Righteousness Without Doing What Is Right
Joseph Prince teaches the typical eternal security imputed righteous message as his secret, which is glaringly lethal:
My friend, righteousness is a gift because of what Jesus has accomplished on the cross for you. All your sins – past, present and future – have been washed clean by His precious blood. You are completely forgiven and from the moment you received Jesus into your life, you will never be held liable for your sins ever again. You have been made as righteous as Jesus…. (pp. 28, 29)
He sees you clothed with Jesus’ righteousness. So begin to see yourself clothed in Jesus’ righteousness. (p. 29)
The more you realize that you are righteous, the more victory you will experience over sin! Wake up every morning and give thanks that you are the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. (p. 31)
Is Jesus righteous before God? Yes! Then so are you. Is He accepted before God? Yes! Then so are you. Is He well-pleasing before God? Yes! Then so are you. (p. 58)
God cannot see your sins when they are covered by the blood. (p. 209)

Don’t uncover your sins or the sins of others. They have been completely forgiven by the blood of Jesus (p. 211).
When God looks at you, all He sees is the blood of Jesus that makes you completely righteous. (p. 251)

There is no argument that Jesus is our righteousness (Rom. 1:17; 1 Cor. 1:30; Phil. 3:9; etc.), but that righteous standing before God can change and has for some:
If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.” (2 Pet 2:20-22)

The Garden of Eden

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

God didn’t create the Wilderness of Eden but the Garden of Eden? And when God first created the Garden of Eden and put man there, there was no poverty or sickness there at all. It was a beautiful lush rich place abounding with every good thing. It was a fertile, well-cultivated region, not a desert or wateland? Contrary to what many religious leaders teach and preach there is no value in poverty or in the fear of being rich. God, who supplied miraculously Adam’s every need in the Garden of Eden and has freely given us all things, delights in the prosperity of His servants. It’s the jealous devil who is against God’s people having money and being prosperous. It is also true when people are poor God is robbed of pleasure and when people do not have enough to give, God is denied pleasure. God’s word is true:

Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion Who rejoice at my hurt; Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor Who exalt themselves against me. Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:26-27

Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. Philippians 4:18

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

There are those religious fools who believe that poverty and sickness are the will of God and use Apostle Paul as an example to prove their case! But they never ask for God to give them more of poverty and sickness and they use the services of a doctor to try and get delivered or ask strangers for money to support them in their so called work of the Lord! If God’s will wasn’t prosperity for man He would not have created the Garden of Eden and put man in charge there. He would have created a barren wasteland and wilderness and put man to suffer there? But God cannot stand wastelands and wilderness and He gets glory by changing them into fruitful fields and forests. God’s word is unchanging:

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, The excellency of our God. Isaiah 35:1-2

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Prosperity and Healing is God’s will for man and it’s a good transition from a negative circumstance to a positive one, especially because of Jesus being wounded for our transgression and being bruised for our iniquities. As a result the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. The word “peace” in the Bible includes the idea of our well-being in every area of life not just our bodies. Jesus became poor, not to set an example — but that we might become rich! The price has been paid for our prosperity for poverty is a curse, not a blessing, and God’s word is unchanging:

“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country. “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. “Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out. “The LORD will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me. Deuteronomy 28:15-20

Now there are those religious fools who love sickness and poverty and like to point out the Apostle Paul prayed for healing and was never healed? What a lie from the pits of hell because the bible never says that Paul wasn’t healed in due season. It also says that his sickness was directly caused due to receiving a revelation and to prevent pride. It was an indirect chastisement to prevent Paul from going off the deep end. It was something need temporarily in Paul’s life. God’s word is unchanging:

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelation, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. Acts 19:11-12

It is amazing these foolish ones who quote Paul concerning his infirmities don’t quote him concerning his miracles because they have a form of godliness and deny its power! It takes the power of God to get wealth and to heal the sick which they don’t have and have not received for God’s word is unchanging:

“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18

“And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him “and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8

God didn’t keep innocent Joseph a slave or prisoner indefinitely but delivered and promoted him to being governor over Egypt and all his house? And God’s power to promote His trusting ones hasn’t diminished one bit! He still has a covenant with His trusting ones to establish them and give them wealth. It’s the jealous and envious devil who lost it all who fights God’s people from having wealth and being prosperous because he hates anything to do with God’s power that brings glory to God’s name, just like God received glory in making Abraham extremely rich and prosperous. It’s was the devil who made healthy and wealthy Job sick and poor by robbing him of his health and possession, not God? It was God who healed Job and restored all things to him and has promised to do the same for all who trust him. God’s word is unchanging:

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:11-15

Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord-that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. James 5:11

Yes, prosperity is part of the Gospel of Christ that He commanded us to “preach the gospel to every creature.” God’s word is true:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:19-20

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,” Luke 4:18

The Body of Christ on earth has many needs. It usually has been hindered and limited in its outreach to help people because of a lack of funds. With more money, they can help more people. They can print more literature, send out more missionaries, build more churches, etc. It is not God’s will for them to be hampered in outreach to the people Jesus loved so much He died in their place? It is a fact that more people have financial needs than any other kind. Millions suffer and die from malnutrition. Millions live without adequate shelter or clothing. But God is great enough to take care of everyone. Men do not have the resources to care for the world directly without God’s help. All the people of the world need to walk in God’s blessings themselves and be productive. The God who had compassion on the multitude and fed them has not changed and is still a miracle working God who loves to bring about miraculous change and miraculously meet the needs of people, just like He did in the Garden of Eden. God’s word is unchanging:

Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.” Then His disciples said to Him, “Where could we get enough bread in the wilderness to fill such a great multitude?” Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.” So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. Matthew 15:32-37
