BE STRONG

 

TRUE CHRISTIANS ARE GREATLY BELOVED BY GOD AND OPPOSED BY THE ENEMY

 Daniel 9: 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand 23 At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision:

Daniel 10:10 Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands. 11 And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. 12 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

18    Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. 19    And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.” 20    Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. 21    But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. (No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince.

EPHESIANS 5:10    Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11    Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12    For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13    Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

WE ALL NEED THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM THAT COMES FROM GOD

Isaiah 11: 1 There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2  The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. 3  His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; 4  But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

EPHESIANS 1: 15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18    the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

OUR HELP IN TIME OF NEED :

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16

If you are facing a challenge right now, I want you to know that you have a standing invitation from your heavenly Father to come boldly to the throne of grace to “obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”.

The phrase “help in time of need” means that you get healing when you are sick, provisions when you are in lack, restoration when your relationship with a loved one breaks down, and favor when news of job cuts or bad prospects are rife.

YOUR ANSWER IS IN HIS WORD :

Proverbs 4:20–22 – 20My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;

God has given us a sure way to receive the answers to our problems and challenges. It is His Word. Every answer or solution we need is found in the Bible.

Yet, many Christians are not walking victoriously in certain areas of their lives. This is because the devil continuously wages a war of distraction against them. He has managed to take them away from the one thing that can bring them victory—the Word. He will do everything possible to prevent them from opening the Bible because he knows that the Word will deliver them.

The distraction can be very subtle: A lot of things to get done, a lot of TV programs that interest you, or it may take the form of a big problem that makes you feel that you need to focus all your attention on it. The enemy knows that if he can get you to take your eyes off the Word of God, he can keep you from winning the battle.

When you are going through a tough time, it is not enough to know that God’s answer to the problem is “somewhere in the Bible”. Find the scripture in which God has promised the solution. Meditate on it until the truth of that scripture is revealed to you. When you do this, no demon or devil can prevent that word from God from bearing fruit in your life.

Even Jesus Himself used the Word to defeat the devil in the wilderness—“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) The way to defeat the enemy is with “It is written…”

My friend, there is no substitute for the written Word. God tells us that we will find life and health if we give our attention to His Word and keep it in the midst of our hearts. So get into the Word and let God’s promises abide in you.

IT’S MIRACLES THAT PEOPLE NEED AND NOT AN INCESSANT DEMAND FROM PREACHERS FOR MONEY

Acts 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

Acts 19:11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,

1 Corinthians 12:10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
Galatians 3:5 Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? —

Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

GOD’S WORD IS VERY CLEAR ON THE MATTER OF LOVE AND GOD

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

RECEIVE BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH :

Galatians 3:5 – Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?…

Imagine that you are at a healing service. An alcoholic walks into the church reeking of alcohol. He sits behind the pianist, a nice elderly lady who has been serving in the church for 50 years. Both of them are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. The healing power of God is present. In an instant, the alcoholic, who has never been in church before, gets healed. The pianist does not.

Most people, on hearing stories like this, would get upset and confused. They might ask, “Shouldn’t God heal this nice, old lady who has been serving Him faithfully all these years, and not that debauched drunkard?” You see, many people still believe that God heals only the deserving.

But that is not how God works. God looks at faith, not works. His power is made manifest in those who trust His goodness instead of their good behavior. So if we go back to the above example, God wants to heal both the alcoholic and the nice elderly pianist. All they need to do is to receive by grace, or unmerited favor, through faith.

You see, we cannot earn the blessings of God. We receive them by believing God’s love and grace toward us. If we receive the greatest blessing—salvation—by simply believing that Jesus did it all for us and not by working for it, what makes us think that the other lesser blessings can be obtained by our works?

So if my daughter falls sick, I don’t go to the Father and say, “Father, heal my daughter because I am Pastor and I preach healing to the people.” No, I go to Him by the blood of Jesus and say, “Father, I thank You that 2,000 years ago, Jesus bore Jessica’s sickness in His body. On that basis alone and by Your grace, I pronounce her healed in Jesus’ name.”

When you simply believe that you receive your blessings based on Jesus’ finished work and by His grace alone, you will receive your blessings!

No Fruit Without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The qualities described in the list of the fruit of the Spirit are impossible to achieve separate from the infilling of the Spirit. We will fail time and again if we try to bring these fruit into our lives by self-will and determination. Only through God’s Spirit will they be manifested as the believer cooperates with the Spirit’s inner prompting. They will only be evidenced in the life when the desire springs from the new heart where God’s law is written. God offers marvelous fruit to each of us through the infilling of the Spirit.

Many Christians sincerely desire these wonderful fruits and expend great effort to obtain them, not knowing God offers them to us freely through the infilling of His Spirit. It is no surprise that Satan wants to keep this wonderful gift of God from us. For true sanctification is found only in Christ fully dwelling in us through the Holy Spirit. One may profess to be a believer in Jesus Christ. He may do many wonderful works for God even casting out devils in His name. However, if the fruit of the Spirit are not evident in the life, Christ is not there and he has not experienced the Spirit’s infilling. Paul put it well when he wrote: “If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing” (1 Corinthians 13:1-3, New International Version).

 The manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit in our lives is the only real evidence of how genuine our Christianity is. How desperate we need the “eyesalve” Christ counsels us to receive (Revelation 3:18). Jeremiah warns us; “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). Only by the infilling of  the Spirit, which brings the necessary spiritual “eyesight” will we begin to truly see our real condition. With that eyesight comes the grace of the Spirit that enables us to put to death the works of the flesh and bring forth the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:24). If you have not received the baptism or infilling of God’s Spirit, don’t let another moment go by until you seek Him. If you have received Him in fullness, continue to seek His renewing every day. This is the only means for Christ to be fully manifested in the life.

Prayer Changes Things

 And the LORD listened to Hezekiah and healed the people. 2 Chronicles 30:20

Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the LORD his God.  And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered. 2 Chronicles 31:20-22

 The Word of God is a testimony to the fact that the fervent effectual prayer of a righteous man changes things and this is quite easily demonstrated in the life of king Hezekiah who did what was good and right and true before the LORD his God.  The bible records about Hezekiah what it doesn’t say about many other kings in Israel and Judea:

 Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign.  He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.  And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done. He removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.  He trusted in the LORD God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor who were before him.  For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses.

The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.  He subdued the Philistines, as far as Gaza and its territory, from watchtower to fortified city. 2 Kings 18:4-8

 Yes, those who trust in and hold fast to the Lord, do not depart from following Him, but keep His commandments shall prosper in whatever they do! While the others shall not such as king Hoshea of Israel  who didn’t obey the voice of the LORD his God, but transgressed His covenant and all that Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded; and he would neither hear nor do them! Yes.  Yes, God’s word is true:

 Now it came to pass in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it.  And at the end of three years they took it. In the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is, the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.

Then the king of Assyria carried Israel away captive to Assyria, and put them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes,  because they did not obey the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed His covenant and all that Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded; and they would neither hear nor do them. And in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them. 2 Kings 18:9-13

 Hezekiah was a righteous man of faith who trusted in the Lord, and walked in His ways and commandments. When the enemy encamped against Judah Hezekiah told the people, “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.  “With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” He made a confession of faith and the Lord who is God alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth and made heaven and earth, fought for him and gave him the victory. The bible records:

 After these deeds of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah; he encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself.  And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come, and that his purpose was to make war against Jerusalem,  he consulted with his leaders and commanders to stop the water from the springs which were outside the city; and they helped him.  Thus many people gathered together who stopped all the springs and the brook that ran through the land, saying, “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water?”  And he strengthened himself, built up all the wall that was broken, raised it up to the towers, and built another wall outside; also he repaired the Millo in the City of David, and made weapons and shields in abundance.  Then he set military captains over the people, gathered them together to him in the open square of the city gate, and gave them encouragement, saying, “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him.  “With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. 2 Chronicles 32:1-8

Now because of this King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, prayed and cried out to heaven.  Then the LORD sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, leader, and captain in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned shamefaced to his own land. And when he had gone into the temple of his god, some of his own offspring struck him down with the sword there.  Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side. 2 Chronicles 32:20-22

Yes, on a certain night that the angel of the LORD went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses-all dead. As a result king Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, and returned home where his sons struck him down with the sword. So king Hezekaih prospered and lived in safety. When king Hezekiah become sick and was about to die the Lord He humbled himself and cried to God and the Lord  heard his prayer and healed him:

In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death, and he prayed to the LORD; and He spoke to him and gave him a sign.  But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem.  Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.   Hezekiah had very great riches and honor. And he made himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of desirable items;  storehouses for the harvest of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of livestock, and folds for flocks.  Moreover he provided cities for himself, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God had given him very much property. 2 Chronicles 32:25-29

In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’ “

Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying,  “Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.  “And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ‘ “

Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What is the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the LORD the third day?”

Then Isaiah said, “This is the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?”

And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.”

So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the LORD, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz. Isaiah 20:1-11

It pays to be righteous and blameless because God hears and answers the prayers of the righteous and saves them from their enemies. His word is true:

I will love You, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;  So shall I be saved from my enemies.

The pangs of death surrounded me, And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet.  And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness His secret place; His canopy around Him was dark waters And thick clouds of the skies.  From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire.  The LORD thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.  He sent out His arrows and scattered the foe, Lightnings in abundance, and He vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O LORD, At the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.  He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the LORD was my support.  He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all His judgments were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me. I was also blameless before Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity.  Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness,  According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight. Psalm 18:1-24

The Revealing Of The Sons Of God

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.  For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,  and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:14-17

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;  because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Romans 8:18-21

Legally, we  did indeed “get everything” when we were born again. According to God’s word when we became a child of God, we  were made “an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ” and potential sons of God.  Legally, from that point on, we were entitled to share Christ’s whole inheritance with Him.  Experientially, however, we  were only at the beginning of a process that takes a lifetime to complete. The Christian life could be described as a progression from the legal to the experiential. Step by step, in faith, we must appropriate in experience all that is already ours by legal right through our faith in Christ. We must do what God commanded the children of Israel to do to go in and possess the land and drive their enemies out. God’s word is true:

 I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers-to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-to give to them and their descendants after them.’ Deuteronomy 1:8

‘Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’ Deuternomy 1:21

” ‘Rise, take your journey, and cross over the River Arnon. Look, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin to possess it, and engage him. Deuteronomy 2:24

Some of us are blind and cannot see what land God has given for us to posses. We  need to pray and say, Holy Spirit, I open my heart and mind to You. Reveal to me the blessings that Jesus has obtained for me and how I may receive them. God desires that every one of His born children, heirs of God and a joint-heir with Jesus live and walk by faith in the fullness of God and by the power of God exercising the dominion and authority that will result in bringing deliverance and liberty to mankind.  However God does not entrust authority to children, but to sons. And many in the Church are still children, suffering the same afflictions, oppressions, failures, Family crisis and stagnation as the world, because: the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all.

God’s children have to grow up and develop into being sons of God before they can be entrusted with power to do great wonders and signs among the people. Only sons are vested with the authority to be signs and saviours in the kingdom (Obadiah 1:21).  Power is never put in the hands of children, because they themselves are under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father. That is, until they develop into sons. When they becomes sons all elemental forces must obey them. Sickness, disease, failure and frustrations must hear and obey them. God’s word is unchanging:

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Ephesians 4:11-13

Many Christians who should be solution providers are still crybabies. Believers who should provide the answers are still locked up in sickness, poverty and all manner of satanic bondages. But that is not God’s will. Yes, God’s desires to see the world filled with the manifestation of His sons, where every man and woman in the Church is a worker of signs and wonders, where everyone will be operating on the frequency of the first century apostles, emitting the same quality of fire, producing undeniable results. God’s word is unchanging:

  “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. John 3:31

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…2 Corinthians 5:20

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:6

Just like God anointed and made Moses a god to Pharaoh and in the same way He made Jesus, He has made us gods to our generation. As a result of the new birth, we who were once flesh are now spirit and are seated in the earthly realm. Yes, we have been raised up together with Christ Jesus, and are now seated with Him in heavenly places. We are now a citizen of an entirely different kingdom, the kingdom of God. Our presence on earth is simply ambassadorial; we are simply representing the interests of our place of origin – heaven.

Our new birth established a change in our citizenship, from earthly to the heavenly. Just as in the natural, ambassadors enjoy the immunities of the nations they represent, as an ambassador of Christ here on earth, we can enjoy all the immunities that the kingdom of God has to offer. Just like ambassadors enjoy comfort proportional to the wealth of the country they represent we can enjoy the wealth and comfort of heaven. We are to be a sign of distinction, affluence, divine health, progress, etc. Wherever we go, we should be recognized as a sign-carrier and wonder-worker.

Before the fall everything about Adam was extraordinary. His body was superb, hence there was no provision for drugs; all the herbs in the garden were for food. His mind was great. He single handedly named all the animals intelligibly, without repeating any name. His spirit was in union with God. But then Adam blew it by his act of disobedience swapped his dominion over everything that the Lord had made for a life of oppression. Although he was king of the earth, he sold off to Satan, and legally transferred his right to live in the miraculous to Satan. Whereas previously whatever Adam said was law, after the fall, he lost control and was no longer in charge.

But Jesus Christ the last Adam who became a life-giving spirit redeemed us from all the curses that came of Adam and those of the flesh and restored to us all that Adam had lost including authority and dominion in the earth over all things.  Hence as anointed ones we can speak and act with the authority and dominion that God has given us. God’s word is unchanging:

Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me:  “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.  See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,  To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9-10

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19

When they brought to Jesus those who were demon-possessed He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick (Matthew 8:16). And now God expects His anointed ones to do exactly the same.

Jesus, our pattern for being a son of God, experienced all that He taught. He healed the sick and was never sick Himself. He cast out demons and was never oppressed by any. He carried virtue for prosperity and was not a pauper.  Similarly we must rise up vehemently against that stagnation or sickness or any other anti-covenant thing that is hanging around us because the husbandman must be the first partaker of the fruits. It ridiculous for a believer who is to lay hands on the sick to be sick himself, for one who should cast out devils to be oppressed by demons. Every unction passing through us to benefit mankind should benefit us first and foremost. God’s word is unchanging:

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”  So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Acts 16:17-20

Good and great miraculous signs and wonders should follow believers! By virtue of their status, they are to be followed by signs, not sorrows. The devil himself is under their feet, so wherever they appear he must disappear! However, until they can grasp the reality of their heritage in God as sons of God and who they are in Christ, they can never walk in the miraculous.

A Christian should be ashamed of sickness the way he is of sin. He should be embarrassed at defeat or failure in his life the way he would be at being caught in adultery. Why? By virtue of his new status in Christ, he should not be under anything anymore. So, God is upset when His children are cheated, defeated and manhandled, because on His part, He has done all He needs to do to ensure they live a victorious life. God’s word is unchanging:

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,  to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved. Ephesians 1:3-6

God has a plan in place for His beloved people whom he has blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly paces in Christ to enjoy divine health and divine prosperity. Next to salvation from sin, God’s desire is that they experience salvation from sickness and lack.  When God made the first man, he was physically sound and had an abundance of everything. There was no provision made for any form of medication as sickness was not a part of God’s plans for man. Sickness came in with the entrance of sin. In other words, the moment Satan took over the government of this world, and in consonance with his name — “the wicked”, the first thing he did was to create sickness. Therefore, as long as a person is a child of the devil, sickness, poverty and lack are a part of his inheritance. However, when anyone escapes the kingdom of Satan, into the kingdom of the Son of God, he has also escaped from the horror of sickness and disease and lack.

Until sin came, sickness and poverty did not exist; so when sin goes, sickness and poverty goes with it. More often than not, the presence of sickness in the body of a believer is as a result of ignorance, because sickness thrives on ignorance. But once  a believer can contact the truth of the Word, he has located the final solution to any type of sickness or disease in his body.  A believer must understand and appreciate that:

   1.      No sickness is to be treated as ordinary.

   2.      Sickness is a spirit.

   3.      Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law; therefore, any sickness in our body is a curse from the enemy.

   4.      Until we curse that sickness and the spirit behind it by ourselves, God is not going to curse it for us.

The good news is that once we are born again, Christ has redeemed us from every curse of the law (Gal.3:13-14), so none can have a hold on us any longer. We are now longer in the domain where curses have a legal right over us. That was why Jesus not only shed His blood, but hung on a tree as well — to secure our redemption from the curses of the law. Therefore the cross of Christ crushed the curse of the law.  When sickness or poverty is not a function of sin in a man’s life or of ignorance, it can also operate freely under the guise of the curse of the law. God’s word is unchanging:

“If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, “then the LORD will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues-great and prolonged plagues-and serious and prolonged sicknesses. “Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. “Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.  “You shall be left few in number, whereas you were as the stars of heaven in multitude, because you would not obey the voice of the LORD your God. “And it shall be, that just as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess. Deuteronomy 28:58-63

The truth is that God has done everything on His own part. He has completed His own part of the contract. He has purchased our health at the expense of His Son’s blood. But He expects us to enter into it and make it a reality in our individual life. Every sickness in our life now is due for a curse. We are to use our mouth to curse it and rebuke it just like Elisha did to his antagonizers and Jesus did to the fig tree and to the fever Peter’s mother had. God’s word is unchanging:

Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”  So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. 2 Kings 2:23-24

And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.  And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.  “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:19-22

  Now He arose from the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. But Simon’s wife’s mother was sick with a high fever, and they made request of Him concerning her. So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them. Acts 4:38-39

You Are Complete In Christ

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27

“For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:9-10

God has given us natural senses to touch, taste, smell, hear and feel the things of the natural realm. In the same way, God has provided a spiritual creation for us, the spiritual senses to experience the spiritual world. That is why we have an inner man with inner ears, eyes and other senses on the inside of us. In fact, because it is eternal, the spiritual realm is even more real than the physical realm. Everything that we have in the natural earthly realm came out of the invisible realm.

When we were born again at the moment of our salvation, we received the most important and powerful gift in the universe, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. In other words we have God Himself now living in us along with all the power, anointing, revelation and glory of heaven. We are also now seated with Christ who is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heavenly places. We are now complete in Christ but we need to totally yield to the Holy Spirit in every ways so that we can grow and consume every soulish and fleshly area of our lives and be all that we can be and have all that we can have! As believers, we are sons of God and co-heirs with Christ. We are “masters of all.” But we need to grow up and mature so that we can operate in our inheritance and rule in the kingdom. We need to come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children. God’s word is unchanging:

“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Hebrews 5:12-14

“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you are not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?”  1 Corinthians 3:1-3

We need to eat the solid food of heaven including the Word of God, divine and secret mysteries, and have the great power and anointing from the Holy Spirit, and the very glory of God as our own atmosphere! And God has given us the five-fold ministry so that the body of Christ might grow into a mature man with the fullness of Christ and no longer be children. We need to exercise our spiritual senses, become more familiar with the spiritual realm through intimacy with God, and become mature spiritual people full of His fullness! We don’t need to become quite old physically and still be a baby spiritually. If we limit how much of God we can have and express or what He can or cannot do in our hearts and lives we will remain babes and not mature sons of God. We need to ask God to overshadow us with His   Spirit and cause His Kingdom within us to grow and expand and have dominion over every area of our lives. We need to allow Him to demonstrate His character, His Glory, and His power in us.

Fear, ignorance, unbelief, apathy and other things keep us from constantly living in God’s supernatural realm.  The spiritual realm is as real as the natural realm and by the Spirit it’s just as easy to walk and live in that supernatural reality as it is in the natural reality. Our heart’s cry should be we want heaven to touch the earth. We want heavenly glory. We want to open up the windows of heaven and we want to live in the supernatural provision of God’s grace, power and presence. The Kingdom of God is not in word only but in power. And we need to see the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and power. And we need to walk in God’s power.

We need to believe in what God is now releasing by the power of His Spirit—the prophetic word,  angels, dreams, the realities of the spiritual realm, the manifestation of heaven touching earth and people being healed and set free.  By the power of faith and believing we can ask God to open up the spiritual realm and release the power of God, favor and resources into our lives and we shall receive. Believing is the door that opens up the spiritual realm and that brings heaven; it’s the entrance through which heaven touches earth and through which miracles, signs and wonders come. God’s word is unchanging:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? “Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1

The Bible encourages us to set our mind on things above where Christ is seated. Yes, we need to get your mind high up there. Get our mind heavenly minded. Get our mind thinking about how real it is in heaven and that that realm is more real than the world that we live in. And we will experience demonic powers and principalities for the Devil is real and he really does want to kill, steal and destroy. But thank God there are more for us in the heavenly realm than those who are against us and Jesus Christ leads us constantly in victory over all our enemies.  However we need to wait upon God and take time to listen what He has to say to us and act on what He tells us. 

Because we are in Christ, we live under an open heaven just like Jesus did after He came up from the waters of baptism and the heavens opened and the dove came down. We understanding the reality of the spiritual realm and walking with the expectation that it is accessible to us, to every believer. As a   full heir of the spiritual kingdom we should be touching, tasting, hearing, seeing and feeling what is going on in heaven for we are just as much a spiritual being as a natural being.

The true church of Jesus Christ should be involved in the changing of weather patterns, the cleansing of lepers, the raising of dead, the casting out of demons, the healing of sickness and disease as well as seeing of dreams and visions.  We are to be a sign; we are to be a living epistle of God and the supernatural realm should spill out of our lives and break into the natural realm everywhere we go. We are made for signs and wonders and we are called to carry around us an activity of heaven that creates signs and shows manifestations of heaven touching earth. There is an absence of sin, sickness, disease, death and poverty in heaven and so should it be the same in our lives. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to come and touch us and heal us and our spiritual senses so we can touch heaven and God with our spiritual sense. We are to be carriers of signs and wonders. God has called us to live in the place of “as it is in heaven” and to walk in the anointing of the spirit of wisdom and revelation. God’s word is unchanging:

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8

Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. Acts 15:12

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. Acts 19:11-12

Yes, we are a natural creation but we are also a spiritual creation. And God wants to give us that spirit of wisdom and revelation and enlighten the eyes of our understanding is for the knowledge of Him and He wants us to live in that intimate place now rather than when we die. We are to enjoy the presence and power of God every day and have Him speak to us at all times.  We need to cultivate a lifestyle of seeking for and living in the presence of the Lord and having various levels of visions and revelation and smelling the fragrances of heaven. Often it’s the natural that keeps us from the heavenly—it keeps us from the fullness of everything we have in God and which is promised in scripture. There will always be a war between our flesh and a war between our spirit.

Many saints of old had thrown away their prophetic destinies because they ended up despising prophecy. They just abandoned them. Others tried to keep their prophecies by fighting the good fight of faith, but when the battle became fierce they ran away. When the temptations of the world came, the Christian warriors just left their post, all their prophetic words and dreams. Whole churches and movements, cities, nations and individuals walked away from their vision, abandoning their dreams! But God is in the restoration business and He wants to restore to us all things not only financial wealth but great spiritual wealth including fulfillment of our dreams and prophecies. He wants to release the resurrection life of Jesus in every place where there has been death in our lives including the death of our dreams. He wants to breathe in every dream and every vision and remove every cap that we have so that we can lift that vision higher. He wants us to dream big dreams and see every true prophetic word or promise come to pass in the name of Jesus. He wants us to call forth those things that be not as those they are and release them from the realm of the spirit today. God’s word is unchanging:

Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.  Delight yourself also in the LORD,  And He shall give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:3-6

GOLDEN NUGGETS

OUT OF THE PIT :

“He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on the solid ground and steadied me as I walked along” – (Psalm 40:2, NLT)

Do you feel like you are in a pit today? That pit can be frustration or disappointment or a feeling of discouragement, despair, or hopelessness. And maybe you can’t see a way out, but you’ve got to know that God is still with you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Remember, God will never waste anything you go through in life. If you’ll keep the right attitude, He’ll turn that situation around for your good. It doesn’t matter how you got there, whether it was by your own poor choices or maybe someone else treated you unfairly, God wants to use that situation to do a work in you. He’ll take that evil and turn it around for your good. You may be uncomfortable at times, but you’ve got to know you are growing, and God is building your character.

Today, make the decision to shake off any negative, self-defeating mindsets. Choose to cooperate with God. Trust that He is preparing you for promotion. As you keep an attitude of faith, expectancy, and thanksgiving, He will lift you up and set you on the solid path of victory He has in store for you!

LINE UP YOUR HEART :

“…The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” – (I Samuel 16:7, NIV)

When the Lord looks at your heart, what does He see? Every one has an outer life and an inner life. The outer life is our public life that people around us see. The inner life is made up of our thoughts, attitudes, and motives. Only you and God know what’s going on inside of you.

Too many people go around today pretending—acting one way, yet on the inside they’re thinking something totally different. Their heart and their actions don’t line up. We have to understand that God looks at the inside. We can fool a lot of people, but we can’t fool God. God would rather us be open and honest than go through life pretending.

Take inventory of what’s going on inside of you today. Are you at peace? Are you overlooking offenses? Do you believe the best in people? Are your heart and actions lining up? If not, submit your ways to the Lord today and ask Him to give you an undivided heart. Line up your whole being so that you can live pleasing Him all the days of your life!

GROWING IN FAITH :

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” – (Romans 10:17, NKJV)

Did you know that your faith in God can grow and increase every single day? Notice today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Faith comes because you have heard the Word of God one time.” No, it says that “faith comes by hearing”–in the present tense.

Sure, God’s Word can transform us in an instant; but most of the time, we need to hear God’s principles over and over again before they become active in our lives. God’s truth sets us free and puts His plan for our lives into motion. As you study the Word of God, it chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that’s been built up over the years. And, just as a seed needs water to grow daily; your spirit needs the Word of God daily. The more you hear God’s promises, the more you know Him, and the more confidence you will have to believe His word.

I encourage you to choose a few verses to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. The more you hear the Word of God, the more your faith will grow, and you will move forward in the freedom and victory He has for you!

FINISHED WITH FEAR :

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline” – (II Timothy 1:7, NLT)

So many people today are living with less than God’s best because they’ve allowed fear to stop them from pursuing their dreams. We have to remember that fear is not from God. It’s a lie from the enemy to paralyze us and steal our power.

Today’s verse tells what God has given us: power, love, and self-discipline or self-control. When you are confident in God’s promises, there’s nothing that can stop you. But when fear creeps in, you hesitate. You’re not as strong as you were before. You feel powerless. Not only that, but it affects your love. Love prompts us to give, and when we are afraid, we tend to clench our fists and act selfishly. Fear also affects our self-discipline or self-control. It makes us panic and do things without thinking.

If you’ve allowed fear to steal from you in any area of life, today you can be free–you can be finished with fear. Conquering fear starts with a choice to believe God’s promises, and then taking a step of faith to act on them. As you step out, God will be with you. He’ll give you power, love, and self-discipline so that you can confidently move forward into the abundant life He has for you!

ASK GOD FOR WISDOM

God created everything in the universe. He has the answer to everything! Doesn’t it then behoove you to seek His wisdom for every situation?

If you are facing a financial debt, God can miraculously cancel your debt. But He wants to go one step higher, and show you how to avoid getting into such problems in the future.

God’s wisdom will always help you out of a crisis, and give you specific answers to your problems!

So beloved, ask God for wisdom today! The Bible tells us that wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).

God wants to give you His wisdom and guide you with His spiritual insight. If you ask God for wisdom, He will always answer your prayer because it is one of His top priorities. James 1:5 says that when you ask for God’s wisdom, He will give it to you liberally and without reproach.

Once you ask, believe that you have received! Find Him guiding and leading you to steward, and make sound decisions in, your finances. Find Him giving you the desire to value your health over worldly pursuits. Find Him leading you to do the right thing at the right time!

And in the midst of your problem, praise God for His constant goodness toward you, and see His promises come to pass for you.

 Speak God’s Word And Activate His Angels

Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. Psalm 103:20

Notice that the verse says that angels are “heeding the voice of His word”. Now, who gives voice to God’s Word? We do! Each time we speak God’s Word, we give voice to His Word. And when angels hear His Word given voice, they respond!

The Bible says that at the end of Daniel’s three weeks of fasting and praying for an answer from God, the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel and said to him, “I have come because of your words.” (Daniel 10:12)

So when angels hear you saying, “Thank You, Father, no evil shall befall me nor shall any plague come near my dwelling,” (Psalm 91:10) they will come to your aid because you are giving voice to God’s Word. Even if you cannot quote the verse perfectly, they can still come to your rescue.

This was what happened to a lady in the United States. While walking home after an evening church service, she was attacked from behind by a man and dragged toward a dark corner in an alley. In that frantic state, she remembered only one word from that evening’s sermon. So she shouted, “Feathers! Feathers!” Her attacker released her and fled!

Feathers? What did she mean? She was actually referring to Psalm 91:4 — “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge”. In that state of panic, she remembered only one word — “feathers”, and it was enough to cause her attacker to flee. You see, it is not your ability to quote an entire verse perfectly that releases God’s power, but faith in His Word and His love for you. And one word from Him is enough to send your enemies scurrying away.

However, if you know God’s Word by heart but refuse to proclaim it, the power of His Word cannot be released. The Bible does not say that angels heed His Word. No, it says that “His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word”. So beloved, give voice to God’s Word and see His angels respond. His angels are activated for your benefit when you speak His Word!

 MANY IDIOTS DON’T UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD BECAUSE IT’S TOO SIMPLE

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

This has always been a problem for “educated religious people” like the Sanhedrin when they Peter and John was brought before them to explain why/how they healed the crippled beggar (Acts 3: 6).   They were described as “uneducated, common men……and they recognized that they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4: 13).  So, my conclusion is that when men or women have been with Jesus, as Paul wrote, “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of he world to confound the things  which are mighty” 1 Cor. 1: 27).  We Christians must be recognized as those “who had been with Jesus”.  How do we recognize this?   By the “signs following” (Mk. 16: 17 – 20) which confirm the word.  This is the reason that IQ has nothing to do with it.  Some people are so smart that they can’t figure out Jesus with whom they do not have any relationship or fellowship.  This is the reason why little children to Sr. citizens can be saved and baptized with the Holy Spirit and do what these “uneducated, common men” can  do “after they had been with Jesus”.   That’s the reason why I encourage people to follow the “KISS PROGRAM”  —   “KEEP IT SIMPLE, SAINTS”.

TO MINISTER

IT’S A FACT THAT SO CALLED BIBLE BELIEVING  FUNDAMENTALISTS DON’T KNOW HOW TO MINISTER IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT TO OTHERS

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Jesus Christ has not changed. He is a healing and miracle working Jesus who delights to do great and wonderful things for those who believe. And we are people who believe. We are people of faith who move in the anointing. We believe in healing by faith and in healing by the anointing. We teach faith and encourage people to exercise their faith.  But to minister by the anointing and to see instant healing the way Jesus did it, we have the same Jesus walking, living and talking in our midst. To minister healing we must have a relationship with Jesus. We must hear Him. We must reach out to Him.

Every healing Jesus did was out of His relationship with the Father. He heard the Father. It is good to pull Jesus around and let Him do the healing still. We must wait until water inside is stirred. Jesus did His works by His relationship with His Father. Likewise, we do the works by our relationship with Jesus. He is the vine and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. And the Holy Spirit is our lifeline. He brings Jesus presence into our heart. He is the line through whom we can hear from Jesus.   We have to wait and be still until He decides to manifest His healing anointing, for the power of the LORD to be present to heal all. God’s word is unchanging:

Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him. And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.  When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”  And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?  “Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?  “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”-He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”  Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”  Luke 5:17-26

It’s to be noted that Jesus started and finished each day with prayer, even long hours of prayer. And to God the heart of man, including that of the person who ministered, was more important than outward appearance or character.  As a matter of fact Jesus never taught about excellence in ministry. He just ministered to the people! He had a servant heart and came to minister and not to be ministered too. He also taught that faith in God will do the impossible, with God nothing is impossible, and according to your faith it will be done for you.

It’s to be noted that ministry is not to facilitate the vision of the house and its evangelist or pastor.  Ministry is not to get rich off the sheep.  Ministry is not to purse a secret hidden agenda for prominence, fortune and fame like Judas who betrayed Jesus for his greed (Matthew 26:24, Luke 6; 16, Luke 22:3). Yes Judas healed the sick, cast out devils and fellowshipped with Jesus and also stole money from the treasurer and was a betrayer and traitor! Unlike others even of our day, Jesus did not just teach or preach but He did real works such as cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, cause cripples to walk, and rebuked religious Pharisees who didn’t do such things! What Jesus lacked in any area of His life He made up for it by the power of the anointing. Prayer, knowledge of the Word of God and the anointing were the only things Jesus needed to minister to the poor, hurting and needy people. And He did a very successful job!

Most fundamentalists miss out the fact that Jesus Christ is not just a theology but a person and god and a miracle working friend which is what many don’t preach but get entangled in other things. GRACE STILL MEAN’S GOD RICHES AT CHRIST’S EXPENSE.

And many miss out an important characteristic of Jesus Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Jesus is a healing miracle working Jesus who was in the now. That Jesus cares about everything that touches His own is a fundamental truth of the gospel: 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Any other presentation of Jesus character is false. And the fact that Jesus cares and is a miracle working healing God gives us hope in any and every negative situation to believe for real change He wants to bring His change to every area of our lives. Yes, from glory to glory. We grow. And hence we are to look unto Jesus in all things.

Hebrews 12: 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Very few preachers today the preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ that He is the same yesterday today and forever, the Savior, Healer, Deliverer, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit, Avenger, Defender, Rock, Shield, High Tower, friend and Mighty God who restored to Job not only his health after Satan attacked him but double his wealth! How come?

 While it is true that most Word of Faith preachers do not preach repentance, one cannot fault all of them of not preaching the necessity of being born again and baptized with the spirit.  The top WOF  guys today Andrew Wommack, Larry Ollison and even Kenneth Copeland do this on occasion.

 But the errors that fundamentalists and dumb prosperity critics  make is to label them as only prosperity preachers which is not the case because these WOF guys  preach other things. And Andrew Wommack, Larry Ollison and even Kenneth Copeland have stated that true prosperity has nothing to do with money!

So how come these so called prosperity critics  never point out what Gloria Copeland stated about prosperity?

Never try to build a house without first laying a foundation.

I don’t care how eager you are to get it finished, how excited you are about filling it with furniture and decorating it all just right—take the time to put down a solid foundation first. If you don’t, that house will be so unstable it will soon come tumbling down.

That’s simple advice, isn’t it? Everyone with any sense at all knows it. Yet in the spiritual realm, people make that mistake all the time. They see a blessing God has promised them in His Word, and they are so eager to have it, they ignore the foundational basics of godly living and pursue just that one thing.

That’s especially true in the area of prosperity. Often, people are so desperate for a quick financial fix, they just pull a few prosperity promises out of the Bible and try to believe them—without allowing God to change anything else in their lives. Of course, it doesn’t work and those people end up disappointed. Sometimes they even come to the conclusion that it wasn’t God’s will for them to prosper after all.

But I can tell you today, from the Word of God and from personal experience: It is definitely God’s will for all of His children to prosper!

 That’s why He inspired the Apostle John to write, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (III John 1).

 Notice there, however, that John didn’t just say, “I want you to prosper.” He said, “I want you to prosper as your soul prospers.” He tied financial prosperity to the prosperity of our mind, will and emotions.

 God’s plan is for us to grow financially as we grow spiritually. He knows it is dangerous to put great wealth into the hands of someone who is too spiritually immature to handle it. You can see dramatic evidence of that fact in the lives of people who have acquired financial riches through this world’s system, apart from God. In most cases, such riches just help people to die younger and in more misery than they would have if they’d been poorer.

 That’s because they use their wealth to sin in greater measure. They use it to buy all the cocaine they want and drink all the alcohol they want. They use it to pay for an immoral lifestyle that eventually destroys them.

 The wages of sin is death. That is an inescapable fact. So, when people get money and use it to sin, it does them more harm than good. As Proverbs 1:32 says, “…the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

Seek First Things First

 In light of that truth, it’s easy to see why God wants us to increase financially at the same rate we increase spiritually. He wants us to outgrow our fleshly foolishness so our prosperity will bring us blessing and not harm.

 “But Gloria,” you say, “I need financial help fast!”

 Then get busy growing. Get busy building your foundation for prosperity.

 How? By finding out what God says in His Word and doing it.

 You see, the foundation of prosperity is a continual lifestyle built on the Word of God. It is doing whatever God tells you to do, thinking whatever He tells you to think, and saying whatever He tells you to say.

 Godly prosperity is the result of putting God’s Word—all of it, not just the parts about financial prosperity—first place in your life. It comes when you apply His principles on a continual basis—not just because you want money, but because Jesus is your Lord and you want to follow Him. It comes when you start obeying the instructions Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:

 We must face the fact the so called bible believing fundies are not honest and see only what they want to see and hate the baptism of the spirit, the gifts of the Spirit  and tongues and miracles just like they did in all the Baptist churches I have attended over the years especially Idlewood Baptist church,  Tampa, Florida which hated with a passion charismatics!

Being good stewards with that which the Lord has given is important to God. He who is faithful with little much shall be given.  That pertains to everything; not just financial blessings.  God gives seed to the sower.  Yes, everything that God has entrusted us with belongs to god and to bring Him glory.  Not to bury it in the ground or use it for our own selfish ambition. We are blessed to be a blessing. Yes, God wants us to enjoy his blessings. Yet, at the same time bless others, share with those in need.

OBEY, PRAY OR SEEK?

Thought For Today: Effect The Change Through Worship!

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you… (Acts 1:8)

There isn’t a thing you can’t change when you worship. The reason a lot of God’s children feel despondent and helpless when they go through difficult situations is that many don’t know how to worship the Lord in those situations.

Life may be replete with challenges and persecutions; however, as Christians, we need to realize that even when we’re going through such, we can still be filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Our continuous fellowship with the Lord through songs of worship helps us live in victory every single day.

It’s high time God’s people learnt to praise and sing, and it’s not difficult at all. As you continue in God’s Word, the Holy Spirit will guide you on how to worship through singing and praying. When you find yourself in difficult situations, first consider what the trouble is all about. Then, ask yourself, “Is it self-created or is someone trying to put me down?” For all you know, you may have unwittingly put yourself in that situation.

When you discover the reason behind your problem, then it’s more than “half-solved.” If the problem is you, make the necessary adjustments in your life! If it’s someone else, you can change things as you worship through singing and praying in the spirit. Don’t sit there feeling sorry for yourself; go ahead and effect the necessary changes! Break out in tongues like you’ve never spoken before and rejoice in the spirit. It makes no difference whether the problem was created by you or someone else, you can change it! Remember, your ability, strength, and confidence, are in God. Therefore, refuse to be a victim; learn to worship God all the time through songs and prayers. Hallelujah!

Believe That God Is Your Rewarder

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Hebrews 11:6

Most people quote only the first part of Hebrews 11:6 — “without faith it is impossible to please Him”. Yet, it goes on to say, “for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”. In other words, the faith that pleases God is the kind of faith that believes that God exists and that He is a rewarder.

The Bible also says that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11:1) So even in times of difficulty, when we don’t see good things happening in our circumstances, we are to believe that God will turn things around and reward us.

God turned things around for Ruth, the Moabite widow, when she believed the Lord and made Him her God. (Ruth 1:16) The Bible tells us that she was given a “full reward” by the Lord when she came under His wings for refuge. (Ruth 2:12) Not only did He give her protection, He also gave her abundant provision, exceeding favor and a glorious redemption. (Ruth 2:9–17, 3:11, 4:10–13)

When Rahab, the harlot of Jericho, heard reports of how the Lord had opened up the Red Sea for the children of Israel, she believed that “He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath”. (Joshua 2:9–11) Though Rahab had not personally witnessed the miracles, she believed God and hid the Jewish spies from their pursuers. (Joshua 2:4–6) Because of her faith, she not only did not perish with those who did not believe (Joshua 6:25, Hebrews 11:31), but she was also given a place in the “hall of faith” in Hebrews 11.

God was so pleased with the faith of these two Gentile women that He not only blessed them in their lifetimes, but He also put them into the genealogy of His Son Jesus Christ, the great Redeemer and rewarder.

Beloved, when you come to the Lord with your needs, believe that He is God, and that He is a rewarder. God has pleasure in this kind of faith. He wants to be the rewarder of your faith in Him!

RETURN OF THE JUDAIZERS?

When I see people start to use Jewish titles for Jesus, being ashamed to mention the name Jesus the Christ directly, I really start to believe that they too now have gone off the deep end.. for the devil hates the name of Jesus and so do his followers. I get bothered also by the Christians who do not mention the Holy Spirit often..

Today when a Christian tells me that they are “Torah-observant” then all kinds of alarms go off. It may be that they are just into Hebrew roots‘ – but usually it is a lot more than that. Bible warns against – losing the “simplicity” of the faith. And that is why Paul was so strong against the Judaizers. He saw that Christians were being tempted – not to place their faith in Christ alone – but rather in Christ PLUS the keeping of the Law. It was no longer a simple trust in JESUS to be their righteousness. They now started to feel they had to keep the letter of the Old Law too – in order to be truly “holy”. It is the blood of Jesus and the finished work of the cross.. that the devil denies, tries to obscure even through false religions, false teachers, false apostles, judiazers (2 Cor 2:11 KJV) Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

The Judaizers were insisting that you could not be saved without adhering to the Jewish law.

The Apostle Peter opposed the Judaizers by reporting on how God poured out His Holy Spirit on the gentiles: “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why do you test God by putting a yolk on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” Acts 15:8-10

The Apostle Paul and Barnabas testified to the miraculous works of God among the Gentiles. James pointed out how this was the fulfillment of many prophecies and he declared: “Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality and from things strangled and from blood.” Acts 15:19-20

The conclusion of the Jerusalem Conference is recorded in Acts 15:22-29. In it the Apostles, elders and brethren of the Church in Jerusalem dissociated themselves from the Judaizers who were “unsettling your souls” by requiring observance to Jewish ceremonial law “to whom we gave no such commandment.”

The council decreed: “For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:” to abstain from idolatry, immorality and blood. There is no mention here of the Jewish Sabbath or any of the many distinctiveness being insisted by modern Judaizers.

“So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why do you test God by putting a yolk on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?” Acts 15:8-10

Those who today are seeking to reject our Christian calendar and Reformation heritage and bring us back under Jewish culture and law need to read the words of the Apostle Paul: “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not… obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of Faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:1-3
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage … and I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from Grace.” Galatians 5:1-4

The Scriptures further teach: “Let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon, or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.” Colossians 2:16-17

The Modern Judaizers. The particular form of merit which they induced men to seek was the merit of keeping the law of Moses, particularly the ceremonial law.. The really essential thing about the Judaizers’ contention was not found in those particular “works of the law” that they urged upon the Galatians as being one of the grounds of salvation, but in the fact that they urged any works in this sense at all. The really serious error into which they fell was not that they carried the ceremonial law over into the new dispensation whither God did not intend it to be carried, but that they preached a religion of human merit as over against a religion of divine grace.So the error of the Judaizers is a very modern error indeed, as well as a very ancient error. It is found in the modern Church wherever men seek

Messianic Judaism is a contradiction in terms because Judaism rejects THE Messiah. There is only one right Messiah who already came in His first coming. Judaism claims it has its own Messiah but it is not the Christ. Christians reject Judaism and Pharisees, so it is wrong for a Christian to call himself a Messianic Judaism Jew or any derivative thereof. If you are a Messianic Judaism Jew you worship a false Christ. The Messiah already came. We do not wait for His first coming but His second coming. Therefore, now you should be a Christian. Period!

Christians are “dead to the law by the body of Christ” (Rom. 7.4). Before being saved a man is “in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death” (v.5) and Hell. Hence, if you live by the law even a law unto yourself, you will die by that law and be eternally separated from God. Such a law might be trying to keep the Sabbath or not eat a certain type of food or performing certain rituals. “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter” (v.6).

The next time you come across a Messianic Judaizer, simply say you reject their Christ because we are called Christians, not Messianic Judaism Jews or Messianic Judaism Gentiles, for Jesus filled up the law (Matt. 5.17).

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is simple. Jesus paid it all. It is finished , By faith in Jesus Christ’s own works your own salvation has been paid for, thus. you cannot add, pay some more, contribute to any of it..

(2 Cor 11:3 KJV) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Mormons, Muslims, Jehovah Witnesses, Jews, Messianic Jews, Seventh Day Adventist, and many others would like to help the devil and falsely put you back to a legal bondage so you can instead next go to hell with them.

This is very dangerous how these rituals and beliefs creep into a believers acceptance. Since majority of us were not born Jewish, we are unfamiliar with old customs and terminology. When others speak of these things, we are deceived to think they must know something that we don’t know and that we lack understanding.  But, the true gospel of Christ, Jesus, is simple.  God made it simple, with no strings attached, so mankind could be redeemed by his grace.  The fact of the matter, is that we know far more than them….the messiah, Christ our lord, Jesus, our savior and redeemer not only came to take back all those that belong to god.  He came, he lived, he was crucified, buried, resurrected and now is high and lifted up seated on his lofty throne in heaven.  Jesus has given the redeemed of the lord his holy spirit…   Let the redeemed of the lord say so.  Share the full gospel of Christ, Baptism of the Holy Spirit and operate in the gift of the spirit in the power of god.  No need to talk about history….we need to make history for Christ.

SALVATION

ARE ALL CHRISTIANS TRULY SAVED, TRUE CHRISTIANS AND ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION?

Repentance is 1 of 6 “elementary teachings” as defined by Scripture. Heb 5:12-6:2 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again… Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instructions about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.

“Repentance is the underlying process that characterizes all movement towards God. Throughout the Old Testament, repentance was the theme of all preaching. John the Baptist preached repentance. Jesus, in Mathew and Mark, opened His ministry by preaching repentance. In Luke, Jesus says: “If you do not repent, you will all likewise perish”, and Luke concludes with the directive of Christ to go and preach repentance. Peter preached repentance at Pentecost. Paul preached repentance in Acts 17. To five of the seven churches in the Revelation, Jesus says “Repent”, and the book concludes with the directive that those who do not repent will continue in an evil way. And so it seems that repentance is of the utmost importance.”

THE BATTLE IS WON!

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

We don’t have to fight the devil as Jesus already did and gave us the victory. All we have to do is to repent of anything and everything and believe him to fight for us.   is off the wall

We don’t have to wrestle with god like Jacob did to be blessed. We are already blessed in Christ Jesus with every blessing. We just have to believe, trust and rest in the finished work of Calvary

The problem is most people don’t repent and don’t ask god to search them out

Psalms 139: 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

On the cross of Calvary when Jesus said, “It is finished!” He had achieved everything that we need for our redemption and salvation, be it spiritual, physical, and financial. He has removed from us all the curses the Adam and Eve had brought upon us by their transgression as outlined in Deuteronomy 28:15-66. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:13-14). By our works we cannot add or remove on thing that Jesus had done for us, except to enter into the rest God’s has prepared for us since the foundation of the world by mixing with faith the good news of the gospel (Hebrews 4:1-12).

Because of Jesus death and resurrection we now enjoy great benefits. Jesus was punished in our place, because of that, we are forgiven. Jesus became a sin offering; we are made righteous. Jesus became a curse; we are blessed, Jesus was beaten and whipped; we are healed.  Jesus died in our place; we have been given life eternal. Jesus was rejected by man and was also rejected by God; we have been accepted in the Beloved and we will never be forsaken by God. Jesus suffered unbearable trauma; we have been given peace. Jesus was resurrected; we were made a new creature. Jesus became poor with our poverty and we have become rich with His riches. Jesus bore our shame and we now share His glory.  Jesus endured our rejection and we now have His acceptance as children of God.

The good news is that the stone at Jesus’ grave site was miraculously rolled away for us as we now serve a resurrected glorious Christ whose power and glory and riches and victory has been restored to Him. God’s word is unchanging:

Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him.  Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.  And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?”  But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away-for it was very large.  And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.  “But go, tell His disciples-and Peter-that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”  So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.  She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.  And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe. Mark 16:16-8

When Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons, went and told those who had been with Jesus, who mourned and wept. But when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.  And Jesus Himself had to appear to His disciples and friends to prove that He was no longer dead. Similarly we need for God by the Holy Spirit to open our eyes and understanding to see and understand the truth of magnitude of the victories of the cross and the great exchange Jesus did there. God’s word is unchanging:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.  “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,  “who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46

It’s just like God to take the useless and worthless things of our lives and to replace it with something priceless. We get from God in return for what we give up:

Christ’s Righteousness for Our sin

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor. 5:21

Peace with God for Wrath of God

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom. 5:1

Father’s House (Heaven) for Condemnation (Hell)

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, Eph. 2:,19

Life for Death

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Gal. 2:20

The New Man for The Old Man

Grace for Law

Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another- to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.  For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. Rom. 7:4-6

His Strength for Our weakness

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.  2 Cor. 12:9-10

His Purity for Our Impurity

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,  by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,  and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Heb. 10:19-22

Every Spiritual Blessing for Being His Children

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Eph. 1:3-4

God’s Power for Weakness and Self strength

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,  But those who wait on the LORD  Shall renew their strength;  They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary,  They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31

Wisdom and Redemption for Hopelessness and Despair

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption- 1 Cor. 1:30

Good Cheer for Tribulation

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Victory for Defeat

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.1 Cor. 15:57

Joy for Sorrow

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. John 15:11

Hope for Despair

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Col. 1:27-28

Fullness for Emptiness

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Col. 2:9-10

Goodness for Evil And Self Control for the Flesh

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Gal. 5:19-24

Love for Fear

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.  Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. I John 4:16-18

Rest for Busyness

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Heb. 4:9-10

Freedom for Bondage

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Deliverance for Darkness

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, Col. 1:13

Truth for Lies

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31- 32

Riches for Poverty

For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,  that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,  in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Col. 2:2

Spiritual mind for Carnal mind

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.  These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor. 2:12-16

Boldness for Fear of Judgment

Abundance For Lack

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Healing for Sickness

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
