The Character of Jesus

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ” And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:14-17

Jesus came to this earth and gave freely of Himself so others could receive that which they need. Jesus gave Himself in prayer and supplications to the Father.  He gave Himself in fastings.  He gave Himself in journeying from place to place, healing the sick and delivering those who were oppressed and possessed of the devil.  Then, Jesus gave Himself to die.  He gave everything for the redemption of mankind for soul, mind and body.  What a wonderful Savior He is! Today, Jesus is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.  He has not changed; He is still giving to all who will receive His truth by faith.  He has the power to make all things new, and we can be renewed in body, soul and spirit daily.  He gives all things freely, so accept all that is needed today for us. And He desires that we be like Him.

The work unto which the servant of Christ is called is many-sided. Not only is he to preach the Gospel to the unsaved, to feed God’s people with knowledge and understanding ( Jeremiah 3:15), and to take up the stumbling stone out of their way ( Isaiah 57:14), but he is also charged to “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.” ( Isaiah 58:1) He is charged to “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” (1 Timothy 4:2).  All these things are what Jesus did and not always in love.  However we say that love is blind because love sees only what it wants to see. Similarly many Christians only want to see the one side of Jesus the loving, gracious, compassionate side. They forget that He is God incarnate, manifest in the flesh who loves righteousness and justice. But the gospel of Matthew gives us a very nice perspective of the whole person of Jesus Christ who was quite outspoken and opinionated especially about those He didn’t like. It’s interesting that both Jesus and John the Baptist who were filled with the Holy Spirit from birth told the  Pharisees and Sadducees  that they were “Brood of vipers! God’s word is unchanging:

And John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.  Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? “Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, “and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.  “And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:4-12

“Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34

“Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Matthew 23:33

Jesus Christ was unlike any other man of God or prophet before Him in the way He ministered to the masses. He  went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.  And  when they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics, He healed them. He told those who were poor in spirit,  who mourned,  were meek, merciful, pure in heart and peacemaker and those who hungered and thirsted for righteousness that they were blessed. But He warned those who didn’t repent that they were cursed and woe would come to them. God’s word is unchanging:

“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ “But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire. “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, “leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.  “Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. “Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny. Matthew 5:21-26

Yes, Jesus warned the offenders and victimizers,  be they Christians or non-Christians, that unless they repented and made restitution they would suffer retribution and judgement in the current time of life.  And this is something that very few preachers ever talk about that many of God’s people put themselves into a prison of affliction, sickness, poverty, lossess, etc. because they have failed to heed the words of Jesus about the consequences of offending or victimizing others. If God’s people were only in tune with the Holy Spirit they would not do or say many of the things that they do for judgment begins at the house of God.  God’s word is unchanging:

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people’s matters.  Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.  For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?  Now  “If the righteous one is scarcely saved,  Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:12-19

Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.   Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,  and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.  Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:  looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. Hebrews 12:12-17

When God chasten us, it’s not to cause us pain but to benefit from it and be healed and delivered.  We are to strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,  and make straight paths for our feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.  We are to pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:  We are to look carefully lest awe  fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest become a fornicator or profane person like Esau. God is on our side and He wants the very best for us. He wants us to succeed and be prosperous but at the same time He needs to change or correct the things that are wrong in us that will cause harm to ourselves or to others. His word is unchanging:

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,  looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.   For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.  You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.  And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:  “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,  Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12:1-8

Yes, in all things we are to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. We are to lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. We are to live and walk in love and let brotherly love continue. We are not to forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. We are to remember and visit those who are in prison and in hospitals since they are flesh and blood just like our selves. We are to remember that marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. We are to remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and  are  not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. We are to continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. We are not to forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. We are to obey those who rule over us, and be submissive, for they watch out for our souls. We are to pray for others that God would make them complete in every good work to do His will, working in them what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. We are to hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.  And we are to consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, God’s word is unchanging:

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,  by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,  and having a High Priest over the house of God,  let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:19-25

“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”  “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.  “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.  But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”  And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:11-17

We know that that much Bible talk and Bible reading and Bible study in many  churches has been of no spiritual profit to those who engaged in it.  In many instances it has proved a curse rather than a blessing. Divine gifts may be misused, and Divine mercies abused. That this has been so in the present instance is evident by the fruits produced. Even the natural man may (and often does) take up the study of the Scriptures with the same enthusiasm and pleasure as he might of the sciences. Where this is the case, his store of knowledge is increased, and so also is his pride. Like a chemist engaged in making interesting experiments, the intellectual searcher of the Word is quite elated when he makes some discovery in it; but the joy of the latter is no more spiritual than would be that of the former. Again, just as the successes of the chemist generally increase his sense of self-importance and cause him to look with disdain upon others more ignorant than himself, so alas, is it often the case with those who have investigated Bible numerics, typology, prophecy and other such subjects.

The Word of God may be taken up from various motives. Some read it to satisfy their literary pride. In certain circles it has become both the respectable and popular thing to obtain a general acquaintance with the contents of the Bible simply because it is regarded as an educational defect to be ignorant of them. Some read it to satisfy their sense of curiosity, as they might any other book of note. Others read it to satisfy their sectarian pride. They consider it a duty to be well versed in the particular tenets of their own denomination and so search eagerly for proof-texts in support of “our doctrines.” Yet others read it for the purpose of being able to argue successfully with those who differ from them. But in all this there is no thought of God, no yearning for spiritual edification, and therefore no real benefit to the soul.

Of what, then, does a true profiting from the Word consist? Does not Timothy 3:16-17 furnish a clear answer to our question? There we read, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”  Observe what is here omitted: the Holy Scriptures are given us not for intellectual gratification and carnal speculation, but to furnish unto “all good works,” and that by teaching, reproving, correcting us. And since we will not be reproved by the word, we will not have joy!

When Christ is supreme in the heart, joy fills it. When He is Lord of every desire, the Source of every motive, the Subjugator of every lust, then will joy fill the heart and praise ascend from the lips. The possession of this involves taking up the cross every hour of the day; God has so ordered it that we cannot have the one without the other. Self-sacrifice, the cutting off of a right hand, the plucking out of a right eye, are the avenues through which the Spirit enters the soul, bringing with Him the joys of God’s approving smile and the assurance of His love and abiding presence. Much also depends upon the spirit in which we enter the world each day. If we expect people to pet and pamper us, disappointment will make us fretful. If we desire our pride to be ministered to, we are dejected when it is not. The secret of happiness is forgetting self and seeking to minister to the happiness of others. “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” so it is a happier thing to minister to others than to be ministered to. We profit from the Word when we are sedulous in avoiding the hindrances to joy . Why is it that so many Christians have so little joy? Are they not all born children of the light and of the day? This term “light,” which is so often used in Scripture to describe to us the nature of God, our relations to Him and our future destiny, is most suggestive of joy and gladness. What other thing in nature is as beneficent and beautiful as the light? “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all ( 1 John 1:5). It is only as we walk with God, in the light, that the heart can truly be joyous. It is the deliberate allowing of things which mar our fellowship with Him that chills and darkens our souls. It is the indulgence of the flesh, the fraternizing with the world, the entering of forbidden paths which blight our spiritual lives and make us cheerless.[i] God’s word is unchanging:

The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from above. Proverbs 14:14

Judgments are prepared for scoffers, And beatings for the backs of fools. Proverbs 19:29

TELL JOEL OSTEEN

the blamelessTELL JOEL OSTEEN YOU CANNOT HAVE IMMORALITY IN THE CHURCH OR THE BODY OF CHRIST – IT MUST BE JUDGED

1 Corinthians 2:15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

1 Corinthians 5: Immorality Defiles the Church
1    It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles — that a man has his father’s wife!
2    And you are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3    For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed.
4    In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5    deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6    Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
7    Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
8    Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9    I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.
10    Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
11    But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner — not even to eat with such a person.
12    For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?
13    But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”

TELL JOEL OSTEEN CONTINUAL WILLFUL SIN IS A NO NO

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

It is sufficiently clear from a number of scriptures what sin is and that if we continue to willfully sin and be enslaved to what God says sin is, of which homosexuality is one, without confession and repentance from that sin, then we do not have the Holy Spirit of God. Without the Holy Spirit operating in one’s life we cannot experience the new birth as a child of God, and we cannot enter the Kingdom of God, nor can we truly overcome sin but be enslaved by it. It is that serious and blunt. Now this is where the grey areas seem to arrive. We are all sinners and imperfect and can never fully obey all the laws and commandments of God while we are on earth, however close to obeying everything the Lord asks us to. It is only by the love, grace and the mercy of God, not our works that we are saved. It is only by the shed blood of Jesus that we are able to stand before God and are imputed righteous in spite of our past or existing or future sins. Yet, God, wants us to change and become holy and not sin and certainly not be enslaved by sin. It is God’s plan and will that we be holy living in union with him. With the gift of the Holy Spirit, we can have the power to overcome self, sin, Satan and death. It takes faith and courage to follow and obey God but his promise is that we will become like Jesus and sin will suffocate and die with the life of Christ, God’s Spirit in us. If we do sin, and the Spirit will tell us either from Scripture or within our conscience, then we are told to confess our sins, to repent and turn to God away from sin and what displeases the Lord and cry out to him for forgiveness and strength to overcome in the name of Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit. The issue for homosexuals and those that support them, is what are we doing to overcome that known sin. If one does not acknowledge it as sin then one does not take the revelations given to us in what sin is and our whole foundation is elsewhere, but not on scripture. That is a very serious situation to be in for it rejects the authority of God and what he says. It puts the whole meaning of anything the scriptures says as questionable and open to one’s own interpretation and emphasis. When that happens we can only pray for a change of heart and mind. Anyone including Joel Osteen is muddying the waters and probably poisoning the waters if they ignore what scripture clearly says and they will be held accountable. God will judge them. And believers will discern them to be false teachers and prophets

JOEL OSTEEN IS A FOOL AND DECEIVER WHO DOESN’T DO WHAT JESUS DID IN THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS TO CHRISTIANS. JESUS REBUKED CHRISTIANS PUBLICLY, OPENLY TOLD THEIR SINS AND TOLD THEM TO REPENT OR HE WOULD JUDGE THEM HARSHLY!

HOLY GHOST

BC

9 Facts On Holy Ghost Outpouring

As they waited in the Upper Room in prayer something powerful happened that changed their lives forever, the gift of the Holy Ghost was poured out.

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4)

SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES

Notice those gathered were “all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Speaking with other tongues is the sign that you were baptized in the Holy Ghost. The Apostle Paul taught much on speaking in other tongues.

    • Praying in other tongues is your spirit talking to God. Paul taught when you are speaking in other tongues you are not speaking unto men but unto God. This makes perfect sense because an “unknown tongue” is unknown and no one can understand what you are saying. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men but unto God: for no man understandeth him…” (1 Corinthians 14:2)
    • When praying in an unknown tongue you are, in the spirit, speaking mysteries. A mystery is something that baffles natural understanding and cannot be explained outside of faith. The mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven belong to the sons of God (Matthew 13:11). When you are praying in other tongues you are praying out the mysteries of God for your life. “Howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14:2)
    • You are a spirit, have a soul and live in a body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Praying in the spirit strengthens your spirit man. When praying in other tongues you edify (build up) your spirit (Jude 20). This means you are strengthening your spirit man when praying in an unknown tongue. “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth (builds up) himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” (1 Corinthians 14:4)
    • When you pray in an unknown tongue your spirit, not your mind, is praying unto God.
    • Praying in other tongues is the most effective way to pray because you do not know how to pray as you should. By praying in other tongues the Holy Spirit helps overcome this prayer weakness.
    • The baptism of the Holy Ghost is different than salvation. The Holy Ghost is a free gift from God. The baptism of the Holy Spirit cannot be bought, earned or deserved. He is a gift available to the born again believer.
    • The Holy Ghost empowers you to see visions, dream dreams and prophesy. The purpose of prophecy is to glorify Christ, and for edification, exhortation and comfort (1 Corinthians 14:3).
    • The Holy Ghost is promised to the repentant. Holy Ghost baptism is available after salvation. Peter offered instruction: repent, get water baptized, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
    • Speaking in other tongues and prophecy is a sign of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. “For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.” (1 Corinthians 14:14). “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit (himself) maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26)

RECEIVING THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

Just because you got saved doesn’t mean you received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Many were saved in Philip’s ministry that did not get baptized in the Holy Spirit until the apostles went to see how the meetings were going. Philip flowed in the power of the Holy Spirit when preaching in Samaria. Many were saved, healed, and delivered. There were even miracles, salvations and water baptisms but none were baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Unfortunately we see this today but God showed us the better way when the apostles got involved in Philips ministry, “Then laid they their hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost.”

“But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.”(Acts 8:12-20)

We consider repentance from sin, faith in Christ the Lamb of God, and water baptism as evidence of the Christian faith and personal salvation leading to eternal life. These in Samaria were saved by faith in Christ but not yet baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues until the apostles laid hands on them, and then the Holy Ghost was given.

“But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy” (Acts 2:6-18).

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:38-39).

When Peter preached to the gentiles in Cornelius’ house they were all filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and afterward were baptized in water.

“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.” (Acts 10:44-48)

“And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.”(Acts 19:1-6)

The baptism of the Holy Ghost is available to you. Get filled today and let the Holy Ghost lead you and guide you in all truth. The manifestation of the Kingdom of God belongs to you.

MORE THAN ENOUGH

AB
THE GOD OF MORE-THAN-ENOUGH

Luke 5:9 – For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken;

As a young Christian, I grew up hearing preachers say that God only supplies our needs, not our wants. Yet, in the Bible, God clearly shows us that He wants to meet not just our needs, but also our wants.

For example, the famous “shepherd psalm” begins with “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”. (Psalm 23:1) Another psalm says, “Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” (Psalm 34:9–10)

One of the names of our God is Jehovah Jireh, which means “the all-providing One”. He provides more than enough. The God of more-than-enough came in the flesh and walked among His people. And as He walked by the Sea of Galilee, He did not give His disciples small blessings. That is why He said to Peter, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets [plural] for a catch,” (Luke 5:4) and not “let down your net [singular]”. And what a catch it turned out to be—a boat-sinking, net-breaking catch! It was such a big and unexpected blessing that Peter and all who were with him were “astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken”.

Beloved, see God’s heart for you today. He wants to prosper you. Don’t settle for anything less, thinking that He only supplies your needs and not your wants. If you need a job, know that He wants you to pray not just for a job, but for a position. When you have a position, you have influence and you are able to impact lives.

Maybe what you need is a pay increment. Then, pray not just for that, but also to be in a position to give increments!

You may start out poor when you follow God. But you cannot remain in lack when you follow the God of more-than-enough. In fact, like Peter, you too will be astonished that God supplies more than what you need and beyond what you have asked!

Thought For The Day

The God of more-than-enough wants to meet not just your needs, but also your wants.

You’re God’s beloved, and He’s on your side (see Rom 8:31). Trust Him to win the fights of life for you!

WORDS ARE CHEAP BUT ACTIONS ARE PRICELESS

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Jesus Christ, whom God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, didn’t just go around teaching, talking and exhorting peopleall day but went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil  for God was with Him. And similarly He instructed His true disciples to go and do the same  and to that end He Baptized them with the Holy Spirit and power and gave them the gifts of the Spirit. Of course Jesus didn’t go around selling books and tapes of His meetings and telling people to buy His messager like today’s false ones do! Rather He stated:

Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

STRESSED OUT ABOUT MONEY?

‘Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.’ Psalm 56:3 NKJV

The solution to financial worry isn’t necessarily having more money. Indeed, the more money you have, the more you have to lose. And the thought of losing it can cause you to worry more, not less. It’s a vicious circle. Trying to find security in money is like tying a boat to a dock; when a big enough storm comes along, the ropes will break and it’ll be swept away. So since we allwonder when the next economic storm will hit, what’s the answer? More rope? Stronger rope? Tighter knots? No—that just gives you knots in your stomach! For the next few days let’s look at some Bible answers to money worries: Tackle your fear head–on.The Psalmist said, ‘Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.’ Now, since David was a king, he probably didn’t worry a lot about money. But he did worry about his enemies stalking him, catching him off guard and killing him. We each have different areas of worry, and the ones that control us are called ‘core fears’. Sometimes you can keep them at bay; other times they control and consume you and make you act in ways you’re not proud of. Christian financial advisor Ron Blue says that for years he was trapped by the fear of not having enough money, or losing what he had. The people around him didn’t know it, but that’s what drove him. Today he’s a best–selling author and financial counsellor to multitudes. But to get there he had to confront his core fear, and trust more in God than he did in himself. And so will you.

When the Lord your God blesses you as He promised you, then you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you. Deuteronomy 15:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)

EACH DAY IS A GIFT …

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. – Psalm 90:12, NIV

Have you stopped to consider that today is a special gift from God? Sometimes, our days can be so full and busy that we forget how fragile life really is. The little things try to creep in and steal our peace and joy. Maybe something doesn’t go your way, or someone says something upsetting. Even traffic can cause you to lose focus if you let it. We have to remember that each day is ordained by Almighty God. If we choose to focus on the wrong things, we’ll miss the blessing that each day has to offer.

Today, don’t let the precious moments of life pass you by. Don’t wait for holidays and birthdays to show people that you care. Remember, each day is unique and irreplaceable. You have been given time that can be invested or wasted; hours that can be used or misused. That’s why the psalmist prayed to God, “Teach us to number our days.” He was saying, “Teach us to value every moment we’ve been given.”

 ROOTED LOVE

Do not forget to do good and to share. —Hebrews 13:16

When I think of all the wonders of God’s magnificent creation, I am especially awed by the giant sequoia tree. These amazing behemoths of the forest can grow to around 300 feet tall with a diameter that exceeds 20 feet. They can live over 3,000 years and are even fire resistant. In fact, forest fires pop the sequoia cones open, distributing their seeds on the forest floor that has been fertilized by the ashes.
Perhaps the most amazing fact is that these trees can grow in just 3 feet of soil and withstand high winds. Their strength lies in the fact that their roots intertwine with other sequoias, providing mutual strength and shared resources.

God’s plan for us is like that. Our ability to stand tall in spite of the buffeting winds of life is directly related to the love and support we receive from God and one another. And then, as the writer of Hebrews says, we are to “do good and to share” (13:16). Think of how tough it would be to withstand adversity if someone were not sharing the roots of their strength with us.

There is great power in the entwining gifts of words of encouragement, prayers of intercession, weeping together, holding each other, and sometimes just sitting with one another sharing the presence of our love.

Lord, thank You for entwining Your strength into my life. Lead me today to someone who needs the love of shared strength from resources that You have given to me.
Let the roots of God’s love in your life be entwined with others who need your support.

DRAW ON GOD

…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve… – Mark 10:45

God wants to do wonders and perform miracles in your life. He loves doing good to His people. He loves to use His power to love His people. That’s why He wants you to draw on and “use” His goodness. Faith is nothing more than—and I say this reverently—seeing and using God’s goodness. He loves to be utilized because He “did not come to be served, but to serve.”

Just look at how Jesus ministered to people. When the woman with the issue of blood used His power, it pleased Him. He didn’t want to leave until He got to speak with this woman who had touched Him (Mark 5:25–34). When He was weary and tired at Jacob’s well, a Samaritan woman came to draw water and ended up drawing from Him—at His invitation. He was even strengthened and rejuvenated as He ministered to her and gave her the water of life (John 4:5–34).

Beloved, God’s love waits on you to be used. God wants to be your bread of life. He wants to be your water of life. Bread and water are of no benefit to you if you don’t consume them. So feed on Him. Drink Him up. Depend on Him for everything you need in life. He loves it when you look to Him and allow Him to work wonders in your life!

HEALING IS AN EXPRESSION OF GOD’S MERCY

Luke 22:51 “And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.”

Jesus often healed people by touching them, and others received their healing as they touched Jesus. You can transmit the power or the anointing of God through the laying on of hands (Mk. 16:18; Heb. 6:2). The virtue of God can even be transmitted to objects and then brought to the person who needs healing or deliverance.

Jesus provided physical healing as well as forgiveness of sins. Many scriptures mention the healing of our bodies in conjunction with the forgiveness of our sins. Healing is an expression of God’s love and compassion for our physical man. Healing miracles also draw men to God to get their spiritual needs met. Physical healing acts like a bell to get man’s attention so that the Lord can minister to the inner man as well.

Healing has been purchased for us as part of the atonement of Christ. The Lord would no more refuse to heal us than He would refuse to forgive us. That does not mean that we deserve healing – we don’t. It is a gift from God, just as salvation is a gift from God (Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8). We don’t deserve to have our sins forgiven. We cannot demand salvation from the Lord, but we can expect it. Likewise, healing has been purchased for us through the atonement of Christ. Healing belongs to us, but it is still the mercy of God that provides healing. Every act of healing is an act of mercy.

ARE YOU BEARING FRUIT?

‘He came seeking fruit on it and found none.’ Luke 13:6 NKJV

Jesus said: ‘A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, “Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?” But he answered and said to him, “Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilise it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.”’ (Luke 13:6–9 NKJV) How long have you been serving the Lord? What are the tangible ‘fruits’ of your service to Him? We’re not all capable of the same level of productivity. Jesus taught that some of us have thirtyfold potential, some sixtyfold, and some a hundredfold (Matthew 13:8). The faith and giftings given to each of us by God are what determine our level of productivity. For example, God doesn’t expect a ‘thirtyfolder’ to produce a sixtyfold harvest. He’s not an unreasonable taskmaster. But if this parable teaches us anything, it’s that God won’t let you just sit on your hands and do nothing. The words, ‘cut it down’, are a sobering reminder of this. God is patient. He will work with you year after year in an attempt to bring you to the place of spiritual maturity where you can fulfil the purpose for which He brought you into His Kingdom. But if after all His efforts you refuse to produce fruit, He will go elsewhere and find what He’s looking for. The main thing is, in the end, God’s purposes willbe fulfilled!

CHRIST IS THE TREASURE IN YOU ….

2 Corinthians 4:7 – But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

The verse tells us that we have “this treasure” in earthen vessels. Who is the treasure? Christ! Who are the earthen vessels here? You and I! Thank God the treasure is in the earthen vessels.

My friend, Christ the treasure is in you. So don’t get frustrated when you see your “earthiness”. You will always be “earthen” as long as you are in your mortal body, but remember that Christ the treasure is in you.

Should you lose your cool with your spouse or children, remember that Christ in you is your patience. When I feel impatient, I don’t pray, “Lord Jesus, give me patience…now!” No, I look to Jesus and I say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are my patience.”

In my younger days and even when I first got married, I had a bad temper. I tried all sorts of anger management techniques, but I never got very far until I told God, “God, I am so frustrated trying to overcome my anger. I give up! I cannot. You can. I rest and depend on You.” Not too long after that, my wife commented, “You know, you have improved in the area of your temper.”

I thought about what she had said and realized that I was not even conscious of the change in me. When family members can see the patience of Christ manifesting through a naturally impatient person, God gets the glory.

Perhaps you are frustrated with your smoking and drinking habits. Or maybe you are discouraged by your feelings of jealousy, distrust, bitterness, depression and defeat. Don’t condemn yourself for being earthen. Don’t try to “cast out” your earthiness. Just realize that you have Christ the treasure in you.

The more you see that treasure in you, the more Christ’s brilliance shines forth in you. And in the midst of your earthiness, God gets the glory as you yourself are transformed from glory to glory! (2 Corinthians 3:18)

Thought For The Day

The more you see Christ the treasure in you, the more Christ’s brilliance shines forth in you.

BLESSED

AATHE BLESSING OF FORGIVENESS :

Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. – Psalm 32:1, NIV

The Bible is filled with keys to obtaining God’s promise of blessing. In Psalm 32, it says that you are blessed when your transgressions, or sins, are forgiven. See, God extends forgiveness to everyone, but we have to do our part to receive the forgiveness. We have to repent, or change our ways, with open hearts. The Bible also tells us that if we don’t forgive others, we cannot be forgiven.

Is there anyone in your life today that you need to forgive? Is there someone who has hurt or wronged you? Make the decision to forgive so that you can walk in the blessing of God’s forgiveness for you. Forgiveness doesn’t condone wrong behavior. It simply releases the person from the debt they owe you so that God can release you from the debt you owe from your own transgressions. When you make the choice to forgive and allow God to heal your heart, you will be able to receive His forgiveness for you, and you will walk in His abundant blessing all the days of your life!

HEARING GOD’S VOICE :

John 10:2-3 “But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.”

This verse promises all who are God’s sheep that they not only can, but that they do, hear His voice. Many born-again people doubt the truth of this statement based on their experience. They don’t think they can hear God’s voice. However, the Word of God is true – not our experience.

The harmony between what this verse says and what our experiences say is that it is our new born-again spirit that hears God’s voice. Although God has spoken and still does speak in an audible voice at times, very few people experience this. God speaks to our inner person (spirit) and our inner person hears Him. The problem comes when we aren’t sensitive to, or controlled by, our spirit but are walking in the vanity of our mind. The Bible calls this walking in the flesh instead of the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-18).

Man is a spirit, soul, and body. Our spirits are as perfect as they will ever be in heaven. If we will change our thinking so that we believe what God says in His Word about who we are and what we have, then this agreement between our spirit and soul forms a majority and our flesh will experience the life of God that has been deposited in our spirits.

Prayer, Bible study, fasting, fellowship, etc. are ways of refocusing our mind’s attention away from the voice of this world and back to the voice of our Shepherd who is constantly communicating with our spirit. If we fail to renew our minds, we can live our entire time on this earth without experiencing the abundant life that Jesus provided for us. Listen, and you will hear His voice speak to you through His Word today.

VIVA LA DIFFERENCE

If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecclesiastes 4:12

There’s power in unity. The devil knows that. That’s why he’s continually fighting it. He takes the differences between us, differences God put there to make us stronger, and tries to use them as a wedge to drive us apart.

Take men and women, for example. He’s deceived us into fighting about which one is superior over the other. But I can settle that argument right now. Women are superior to men. If you don’t believe that, you boys try having a baby. But then, men are superior to women. If you don’t believe that, you women try having one without us.

It’s the differences combined that make us strong!

People have even argued about whether God is male or female. But the Bible itself tells us that. He’s both! That’s right. In the Hebrew language, all words have gender. They’re either male or female. But the Hebrew word “Jehovah” is both masculine and feminine. He’s as much female as He is male and as much male as He is female.

Originally, mankind was that way too. When God first made “man,” he was as much female as he was male. Then God separated the female part out and made “woman” or, “the man with the womb.” After that, man and woman had to come together to be perfectly whole.

That’s still true today. For example, when He puts together husband and wife teams, He often puts people together who have major personality differences. Where one is weak, the other is strong, and vice versa. So, when they become one, they’re more powerful than they ever were apart.

There was a time when I didn’t understand that. I got aggravated with God for calling me a wife who didn’t care for so many things that I liked. But I finally realized God knew what He was doing. If He’d given me a woman who was as nuts about flying as I am, we would have spent the rest of our lives in the clouds. We wouldn’t be preaching the Word. We’d be in some silly airshow flying upside down.

Do you have people in your life who are irritatingly different from you? Don’t let the devil use those differences to drive you apart. Thank God for them! Let Him teach you how to appreciate them. Let Him show you just how powerful you can be… together!

MAKE IT ATTRACTIVE

Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. —Colossians 4:5

The story is told of a young boy who, during a bygone era, was aboard a passenger train attempting to make money selling apples. He made his way through the train car, saying, “Apples! Would you like to buy an apple?” When he got to the rear of the car, he still had a bagful of apples and no money.

A gentleman who noticed his plight took him aside and asked to see one of the apples. He proceeded to go to the front of the train, polish it conspicuously with a napkin, and then walk down the aisle eating the apple and commenting on how delicious and refreshing it was. Then he told the boy to try again. This time, he sold every apple. The difference? The apples had been made attractive to the potential customers.

This story can remind us of one way we can interest others in the gospel of Jesus Christ: Make it attractive to them—show them the difference it has made in our own lives. That is best done by following the words of Paul in Colossians 4:5. “Be wise,” he said, “in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity” (NIV). If we show kindness, love, and compassion to others, those who observe us will wonder why, and that may give us an opening to tell them about the beauty of God’s love for them.

Dear God, You have given us so much by providing our salvation. Help us to make the gospel attractive to others by the way we shine Jesus’ light on those we encounter each day.

The beauty of a changed life can attract others to the One who makes us beautiful.

NOTHING LESS BUT EXCEEDINGLY ABUNDANTLY

Ephesians 3:14    For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height —
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.

As a King’s kid don’t accept nothing less than for God to do exceedingly abundantly all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us and according to our benefits in Christ Jesus including forgiveness of all our iniquities, healing of all our diseases, double restoration of all our losses, and justice concerning our oppressors!

THE SPIRIT’S REST AND REFRESHING

ISAIAH 28:11–12 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, to whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing”…

You’ve probably heard of the term “R&R”. It’s commonly used in the military and it means “rest and relaxation” after some exhausting overseas training or mission. Doctors also order “rest and rehabilitation” for the injured and sick.

My friend, God has an R&R for you too. It’s called “the rest and the refreshing”, and it comes through praying in the Holy Spirit or tongues.

One of the best ways to rest and be refreshed, especially when you are worried, fatigued or just waiting for the manifestation of your healing, is to pray in the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, give yourself some time every day to pray in the Spirit, and allow Him to rejuvenate and refresh you supernaturally!

PRAYER FOR THE DAY :

“In His grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.” (Romans 12: 6)

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You. I honor You. The morning has broken by the Holy Light of God. Larks are singing everywhere proclaiming that this is the day the Lord has made; we all rejoice and be glad in it. Let the unfailing love of God come upon me and fill full my mouth with His words as they are sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. May the sweet Spirit of God fill up me and let me spread over good news to this End-time period! Bless me O God, for I am Your chosen servant and wonderfully made child.

Gratefully, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen !!!

THE GARDEN OF EDEN AND FULL GOSPEL

AETHE GARDEN OF EDEN AND FULL GOSPEL

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

God didn’t create the Wilderness of Eden but the Garden of Eden? And when God first created the Garden of Eden and put man there, there was no poverty or sickness there at all. It was a beautiful lush rich place abounding with every good thing.  It was a fertile, well-cultivated region, not a desert or wasteland? Contrary to what many religious leaders teach and preach there is no value in poverty or in the fear of being rich. God, who supplied miraculously Adam’s every need in the Garden of Eden and has freely given us all things, delights in the prosperity of His servants. It’s the jealous devil who is against God’s people having money and being prosperous.  It is also true when people are poor God is robbed of pleasure and when people do not have enough to give, God is denied pleasure. God’s word is true:

Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion Who rejoice at my hurt; Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor  Who exalt themselves against me.  Let them shout for joy and be glad,  Who favor my righteous cause;  And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified,  Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.” Psalm 35:26-27

Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. Philippians 4:18

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.  2 Corinthians 9:7

There are those religious fools who believe that poverty and sickness are the will of God and use Apostle Paul as an example to prove their case! But they never ask for God to give them more of poverty and sickness and they use the services of a doctor to try and get delivered or ask strangers for money to support them in their so called work of the Lord!  If God’s will wasn’t prosperity for man He would not have created the Garden of Eden and put man in charge there. He would have created a barren wasteland and wilderness and put man to suffer there?  But God cannot stand wastelands and wilderness and He gets glory by changing them into fruitful fields and forests. God’s word is unchanging:

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;  It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,  The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.  They shall see the glory of the LORD,  The excellency of our God. Isaiah 35:1-2

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Prosperity and Healing is God’s will for man and it’s a good transition from a negative circumstance to a positive one, especially because of Jesus being wounded for our transgression and being bruised for our iniquities. As a result the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. The word “peace” in the Bible includes the idea of our well-being in every area of life not just our bodies.  Jesus became poor, not to set an example — but that we might become rich! The price has been paid for our prosperity for poverty is a curse, not a blessing, and God’s word is unchanging:

“But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:  “Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the country.  “Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.  “Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.  “Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.   “The LORD will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me. Deuteronomy 28:15-20

Yes true Christians believe in prosperity and the wholeness of man because that was the original state of man in the Garden of Eden until sin and Satan entered the picture. They don’t believe in poverty and sickness because Jesus never preached or demonstrated that it was the will of God.

God has no problem healing us, but we have a problem believing it. There is no lack with God, but we experience lack because of unbelief. There is actually more than you can handle with God, cup running over, get extra jars and pots and pour out the oil until all are full, water pots filled with the best wine, so many fish the nets began to break, they took up twelve baskets full of bread and fish fragments after all 5000 ate, there is more than enough, much more than enough. What causes lack? Unbelief. Unbelief also causes you not to enter God’s rest. Why don’t you just rest and believe God today? Remove the cork. Believe!

Many times Christians struggle to manifest prosperity according to the world’s standards. However, prosperity according to God’s Word extends beyond any prosperity we can ever find in the world. Prosperity from God makes us whole in every area of life. It is a prosperity that goes beyond a dollar amount. True prosperity is Christ-centered, and it comes from a complete dependence upon Jesus Christ.

Society’s definition of prosperity is limited to finances; however, God’s definition of prosperity means wholeness.

To prosper spiritually you must be a born-again Christian.

To prosper physically means you are healed and healthy in your body.

We prosper as our soul prospers (3 John 1:2-4, AMP).

To prosper within the soul begins with the process of transforming your mind with God’s Word.

The soul of man consists of the mind, will (decision making), and emotions.

The enemy attacks our thinking. Wrong thinking prevents our prosperity.

Now Jesus Christ operated in all the gifts of the  Spirit and because Christ lives in every true Spirit filled believer they can also do the same!  God’s word is unchanging.

Acts 6

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude. And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, …8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.

Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

2 Corinthians 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.

It’s to be noted that Stephen and Phillip were not apostles but layman who were full of faith, power and the Holy Spirit and did great wonders and signs among the people! Ahd the gifts of thee Spirit were given to the church of Jesus Christ as long as it exists on earth:

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

The basis of Full Gospel of Jesus Christ is that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, He is in the now by the power of the Holy Spirit. And God confirms the preaching of His word with miracles, signs and wonders following!

Faith is the currency of the kingdom of God used by God’s believing people   to obtain whatever  we need including salvation, healing, deliverance miracles and financial blessings.

Evangelicals of all persuasions including Pentecostals rob people of great blessings when they deny and don’t preach on the importance of faith  while the word of God tells us how important it truly is:

HEBREWS 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. 32    And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33    who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34    quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

True believers in Christ, Christians, walk in Holy Ghost power that gives proof of the resurrection. This is way more than quoting a bible scripture, teaching a nice Sunday school class or sharing with a friend at the coffee shop. Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12).

Before a person can receive the benefits of salvation they need to know what belongs to them. This is confirmed in the scripture, “Faith cometh for by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). Once you know what belongs to you then all you need to do is receive it. That goes as much for deliverance from unclean spirits as it does for physical healing. The Apostle Paul wrote that he prayed for believers to come to the place where they knew what belonged to them in Christ. Today we could call those the benefits of salvation. He wrote,

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.” (Ephesians 1:17-22)

Apostle Paul’s ministry wasn’t to entertain the believers!

1 COR. 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

Paul preached in the power of the fullness of god’s blessings and not just words

ROMANS 15:17    Therefore I have reason to glory in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God. 18    For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient — 19    in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

…29    But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.

Preaching a half truth is to preach a lie. It is sin and demonic not to preach the whole gospel that Jesus Christ is not only Lord, but savior, healer, provider, deliverer, miracle worker and Baptizer in the Holy Spirit who confirms the preaching by His true ones with miracles signs and wonders following like Philip had. And to have a form of godliness while denying its power is sin and rebellion!

Yes Jesus was a Pentecostal so why would that make some Christians upset?  Jesus, was filled with the holy spirit, led by the holy spirit, operated in the gifts of the holy spirit to heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead? Also, the disciples were same as they followed all that Jesus taught them. So why would that make them angry unless it’s the devil doing it because they need deliverance for not doing the same?

Why do evangelicals ignore the words of Jesus that  the baptism of the spirit gives true Christians power which carnal anemic impotent Christians don’t have:

ACTS 1:4    And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5    for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6    Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7    And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8    But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Many so called bible believing Christians are real  nuts who worship the bible above Jesus Christ whom they don’t obey. They offer a wimpy anemic counterfeit Jesus who loves everybody and wants everybody in heaven and ignore the fact that Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forever is a man of war who kills His enemies! They have a form of godliness and deny its power. They are devoid of truth, miracle, signs and wonders contrary to the commands of Jesus (Mark 16:14-20). They are devoid of wisdom and discernment as defined by Isaiah 11:1-6 and 1 Corinthians 2:1-16. They hate the gifts of the Spirit and don’t practice them (1 Corinthians 12-14)

All they ever do is talk and talk and talk and judge others as not being Christians! They throw true Christians out of their anemic impotent useless churches! They preach that suffering and poverty is the will of God and miracles have ceased but when they are sick they run to a doctor instead of accepting sickness as the will of God. They think they are on the way to heaven when in reality they are on the way to hell as they are the foolish virgins (Matthew 25:1-12). They are nothing but a cult!

Paul mentioned such people who refused the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1 Cor. 14: 23 – 24. The Greek word that he uses to describe them is “idiotai” (plural), “idiotes” (singular) which means they are spiritual “idiots” but usually translated as “ungifted” of “unskilled” or laymen, amateurs, unskilled  people.  They do not want the Holy Spirit nor do they want the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.  But they want to be involved in churches and prevent the real work of God which requires the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  They are people who want what God has without coming under His Lordship which requires the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the “Signs” of the Holy Spirit.  They are like the Pharisees of whom Jesus said, “for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (Jn. 12: 3). Samuel told Saul, “Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness as iniquity and idolatry.  Because you have rejected the word of the LORD (Yahweh), he has also rejected you from being king” (1 Sam. 15: 23).  This aplies today who do not want to do what Jesus requires of them.

They think that because they have prayed the “sinner’s prayer” that they can ignore what the Scriptures require and not lose their Salvation.  That’s the reason why Jesus warn us in Revelation 3: 5 that when somebody turns away from Him, they can have their names blotted out (removed) from the Book of Life.  Also: Heb. 6: 1 – 8; 2 Pet. 2: 20 – 22; Proverbs 26: 11.  Jesus aptly warns us, “Beware of false prophets  which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  You will know them by their fruits.  Do men gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles” (Matt. 7: 15: 16).

Dispensationalism is the product of people who want to re-organize the Kingdom of Heaven according to their warped thinking. These people don’t like God’s Biblical Church Organization and they have re-organized it in such a way to eliminate His Grace by replacing it with their own ideas.  They have a real problem with God’s Covenant Relationship.  So, they have a lot of problems relating to the New Testament and try to explain the Bible in their unbiblical ways.

I dislike powerless evangelicals and fundamentalists who put great emphasis on doctrines and ignore the gifts of the Spirit. They talk much but don’t cast out devils instead cast out people from their churches. They don’t heal the sick but instead make people sick with their doctrines of demons. The bible says of them:

2 Timothy 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Sin is not the problem. The problem is that these people have not asked, believed or received God’s full gospel of Christ. They are trying to do it on their own in their own human frailty. Jesus, said “it is finished”. Yes, Jesus already paid in full everything on our behalf.

Whenever a church or denomination loses its power  and effectiveness because it stopped being full of faith, wisdom, holy spirit and power , it starts to trust in the wisdom of men including Pauline doctrines conjured out of Paul’s epistles! Doctrines such as unlimited grace, once saved, always saved, predestination, women cannot preach, pastors are to rule churches, love is the greatest, miracles have ceased, etc.

The word of God tells us that apostle Paul never intended that his writings be a substitute for having our faith in the power of God but in the wisdom of men.

Too many people have tried to be “Christians” on their own strength and without the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

However fleshly carnal ones love things they can control including doctrine and understanding of scriptures since they cannot control the Holy Spirit and His gifts including miracles.

As a result the fleshly ones  who are devoid of power and truth hate  Jesus commands and statements in  Mark 16:14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.15    And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16    He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.17    And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18    they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19    So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.20    And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

The reason why so many people do not want to receive the Holy Spirit and accept the work of the Holy Spirit through speaking in the new real languages that Jesus wants us to have is that they only want Jesus to be their Saviour and not their Lord (Matt. 7: 21 – 23).  They are in rebellion against Jesus being Lord and God.  They are the ones of whom Jesus referred when He said, “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.  But new wine is must be put into new wineskins.  And no one after drinking new wine  desires new; for he says, “The old is better” (Lk. 5: 37 – 39).  That’s the reason why they love the OT.  They do not like the taste of the New Wine Who is the Holy Spirit.  They do not like God’s grace because it causes people, like them, to react like the workers in the Parable of the Householder or the workers hired at different times of the day and were all paid the same wage at the end of the day.  Those who worked for the full day complained that they all received the same pay (salvation).  The owner said, “Or do you begrudge my generosity?” (Matt. 20: 15).  The Greek reads, “Is your eye evil because I am good?”  These people who resist the work of the Holy Spirit want to be their own selfish selves guided by their own sinful understanding of the work of Jesus Christ or worse the devil and/demons.

It is a function of “agape love” to correct people and to call them to repentance.   Ignorant protestors, who don’t believe in public or private correction and say it’s a hateful thing to do, need to read one of Paul’s letters to Timothy.  It reads, “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God  may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3: 16 – 17).  Anybody who is beyond correction places themselves outside of God will.  And note it is “all Scripture” not some or whatever we don’t like.  Blind protestors are a spiritual danger to themselves and other people.

The demonized evangelicals in my part of the woods who don’t operate in the gifts of the spirit always talked about the importance of forgiving others as though it was the only thing in the bible. But some people you don’t forgive just like Jesus never forgave Judas. You don’t forgive unrepented rapists, liars, thieves, deceivers, pedophiles, lesbians  and scoundrels!

They should read their bible which clearly talks about pedophiles and says in Luke 17 about the woe that will come to them:
1    Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2  It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3    Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

It is not true that as some Third Wave fools claim that” health and wealth ends with man, and signs and wonders with Jesus.”  Yes I have seen more extremes and fruit loops in the signs and wonders camp than anywhere else. Chasing non biblical signs and wonders that have nothing to do with Jesus. I hear more of Jesus being preached and sound biblical teaching from Word of Faith then the others. When gold dust, gold teeth and so called angel feathers are chased (and I have seen people crawling around on the floor looking for gold dust, gems etc.) over an encounter with the Lord something is wrong. There is more preaching about the fluff and stuff then Jesus! Time and time again people have been caught planting such foolishness. So this camp is no better where exalting Jesus is concerned then those that do pollute the prosperity message. I am all about the glory of God and His presence, but a lot of the foolishness going on with the signs and wonders camp are no better than the extremes of some in Word of Faith. The Bible tells us what signs believers are to expect and they are to follow us, not us chase after them!

When I lived in Florida from 1994 I personally experienced the lying signs and wonders and the false counterfeit Christ preached by fools such as Rodney Howard Browne, Pastor Karl Strader. Pastor Stephen Strader, Pastor Ron Clark, and Bishop Randy White.  I went to many of their meetings and found these pastors to be egotistic Third Wave fools. I especially dislike Rodney Howard Browne and his brothers. Rodney tried to raise his daughter from the dead and failed and I never saw him operate in the gifts of the spirit. He was a deceiving coward who taught pastors that the sheep existed to be fleeced and was robbed by Pastor Karl Strader of thousands of dollars during the revival meetings held in Lakeland. So he blessed Karl for it and bought him a new Lincoln town car not with his own money but with the money of the dumb sheep. he and his brothers are stupid false Pentecostal nuts

Rodney never earned his doctorate degree as it is an honorary one – he is nothing but a “loud mouth” who has told others that “Walter hates pastors” while the truth is “Walter hates false egotistic deceiving pastors” who also do not demonstrate a deliverance ministry but a thieving ministry.

I have debated with Rodney a few times and tell everybody he is a stupid idiot who could not discern that his friend Karl Strader and the Straders were liars deceivers and thieves.

A secondary Lakeland Revival with thieving and lying Todd Bentley and Stephen Strader was also a joke. Think about it what can lying thieving deceiving adulterous Todd Bentley the sorcerer offer a troubled world that has its own problems? Nothing! Because they have no integrity.

Richard Lambert says:  April 14, 2014 at 7:22 am

Adultery is adultery, in this case it is an ongoing sin, it is not past and forgiven, Todd and his first wife were both Christians and by leaving his first wife and marrying a new wife Todd has and still is committing adultery, and he causes his new wife to be in sin as well. God forgives, heals and restores, a real testimony of God doing anything in Todd’s life would involve him being convicted of sin, turning to God in repentance and be healed and restored. Even his first marriage can be restored in God. The wages of sin is death, a man who sins sexually sins against his own body. Todd was a great one for preaching and administering healing, yet he fails to note that God’s law and his word has inbuilt power to bring peace and healing. A life lived right in Christ will bear much fruit, the fruits are those of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self-control. It sounds like the fruits of Todd’s life are exactly the opposite of these fruits of the spirit. Shortly before Lakeland in 2008 I received a prophetic word that Todd Bentley was not sent by the Lord, I shared this with my Christian family (parents and brothers) who happened to be in the USA at the time, it transpired that they were travelling to the Lakeland ‘revival’ at the very time they received the word the Lord had given me. Sadly they did not receive the word and said I was wrong and was not hearing God, they said ‘we will see in the future the fruits and who is right, and whoever is wrong can apologies to the other’ Now nearly six years later there has been no apology, no restoration my relationship with my family was ruined and is yet to be restored. I believe that Todd Bentley and his fake revival caused such division amongst believers that the true extent of damage caused is immeasurable, certainly far outweighing any claimed good that was ever achieved.

These so called revival meetings have caused many people to become sick rather than finding healing. Their reports tell us of false prophecies, of gold teeth which when examined by dentists are just discolored yellow caused by sulphur in the air, gold dust that disappears, and cheap imitation so-called jewels which are poor imitations but are copies of the them similar to what I bought in a children’s store. The jeweler told them that they were “valueless” which they mistook for being “invaluable”. In other words, they were “of no value or use; worthless”. The medical examinations of people who thought they had been healed were disappointing because, like Todd thought, participation in such meetings would result in healing and good health as we see happening in real full gospel meetings. He has been deluded in these meetings and misled by false prophecies, false everything. We have had to set more people free from these false blessing possessions!

In all of Todd’s so-called meetings, he has grieved (Eph. 4: 30), quenched (1 Thess. 5: 19), outraged the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Grace (Heb. 10: 29) and blasphemed (Mk. 3: 28 – 30). He has lived and publicly displayed the “works of the flesh” (Gal. 5: 19 – 21). He turned worship into a self-centered X-rated entertainment (1 Cor. 14: 26f.). He has danced with the devil/Satan as if he, the devil, was God. The result is that he has been living under the wrath of God (Rom. 1:18, 2: 8) mistaking it for the blessing of God. He has gone beyond what is written (1 Cor. 4: 6) and has gone beyond what is written and has become “puffed up in favor of one against another. He has become what Jesus said to the Sadducees, “You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29).

Yes the so called Third Wave leaders who are also supposed to be Apostles, Prophets and men of God not only have no integrity but are liars, thieves, manipulators and scoundrels. Their leaders suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)   in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and to others in the process and they include scoundrels Rodney Howard Browne, Richard Roberts, Stephen Strader, Todd Bentley,  Benny Hinn and Patricia King. And let’s not forget Rick Joyner, Stacey Campbell, Dutch Sheets, and Peter C. Wagner).

Whenever these false apostles or pastors appoint themselves to whatever imagined leadership, they place themselves above God and cannot afford to tolerate any questions.  Our God does not appoint dictators but “servants of all” (Mk. 9: 35).

They are also cowards who character assassinate and lie about their critics just like Pastor Stephen Strader of Ignited Church, Lakeland Florida did a while about Walter Kambulow who is not afraid of exposing them and letting everybody see what they really are.

Stephen R Strader “Walter Dear is a cowardly snake — please report him then block him! He is a pervert who has been stalking me since1996. Canadian authorities are looking for him even now. Thank you!”

But that is to be expected from the criminal Strader family where Dan Strader with the help of his father Pastor Karl Strader through a “Ponzi scheme” robbed a church member and friend of the family Roy Aldrich of $ 100,000 as well as many other elderly members of the church and community. (NOT INNOCENT http://www.scribd.com/doc/33762241

Dan Strader until this day has refused to admit that he was guilty and as a result Judge Doyle sentenced him to 45 years in jail. Till this day the Criminal Strader family, including Pastor Stephen Strader, have maintained that Dan was innocent and Roy Aldrich was the criminal!

Roy Aldrich contacted me when I was living in Tampa to tell me the whole story and he died prematurely of a stroke a few months later because the Pastor Karl Strader fired his wife Patricia from being a teacher at the church school and they lost their medical coverage. He was murdered by his beloved pastor Karl and the Strader family! And all these deceived demonized ones who are liars, cowards and monsters tell us they have the answer to all of life’s problem? BELIEVE ON JESUS

What God has made clean, don’t call unclean. If you cannot believe for miracles, you have joined the wrong religion. Everything about the life of Jesus is a miracle. How do you find yourself in a pew with no miracles, no faith, and no joy? How do you call that “worshipping God”? You have to believe to receive. This is not make believe. This is not clappy hands and smiles. This is God, trying desperately to save you in spite of yourself. But if you are offended by the Holy Spirit of God, If you call it demonic. If you call good evil and evil good. Then guess what? The Lord has a controversy with you, because there is innocent blood on your hands. Not just your own blood but the blood of all those you prevented from entering in. If you must be a blind guide, hurry up and fall in the ditch where you belong. But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Yes, there are phony signs and wonders from false prophets, but when does that EVER negate the true reality of God All-mighty making a way where there is no way in the midst of your calamity? God is a way maker, a dream maker. Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, and it has not entered into your little blessed heart, all the things God has for you. Blessings and miracles a plenty. But won’t it be sad to get to heaven and see all the things the Lord had for you that you never received, because you would not believe. The blame is on you, not on God. He gave His only son, Jesus. He became poor that you might become rich. He died for your salvation. He took the stripes for your healing. Stop asking Jesus to do more for you than He has already done. Rather, GET UP! Pick up your sleeping pad and go home. Stop being a LAME person hanging around the church waiting for a miracle. Jesus is the miracle. Believe on Him and be saved. Believe on Jesus and be delivered. Believe on Jesus and be made every whit whole. Stop waiting on God, God is waiting on you…to believe HIM!!!! Step into it! Get up in Jesus name

THE THIRD WAVE FLUFF AND STUFF

Just because some have perverted prosperity I am not going to lump them all together and throw it out. The Bible does teach that God wants to prosper us and healing is available to us that believe. You have extremes in all doctrine and in every camp/denomination etc. That is not true that health and wealth ends with man, and signs and wonders with Jesus. I have seen more extremes and fruit loops in the signs and wonders camp than anywhere else. Chasing non biblical signs and wonders that have nothing to do with Jesus.  In Paths of Righteousness

The LORD is my shepherd;  I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures;  He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul;  He leads me in the paths of righteousness  For His name’s sake. Psalm 23:1-3

Many claim that the Lord is their shepherd but they are in want and are not walking in the paths of righteousness. Something is wrong because God’s word is true though every man is a liar.  That is the problem with Christianity is that it’s all head knowledge and very little heart experience with the Shepherd who is the Lord. It’s not the Shepherd who has moved or needs to be changed but it’s the foolish and dumb sheep. They are not blameless! They do not have clean hands or a pure heart! And they don’t love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and might and are deceitful about it! Hence they do not receive a blessing from the Lord. They are not victorious in the presence of their enemies but have brought a reproach to God’s name, integrity and character.  As a result justice is turned back, righteousness stands afar off, truth is fallen in the street, equity cannot enter and truth fails and goodness and mercy do not follow them but yet they say that they are called by God’s name and are His people.

These are things that people do not want to hear about themselves because everybody always has a better and nicer point of view about who they are and where they are. They seek God daily, and delight to know God’s ways as do they did righteousness, and did not forsake the ordinance of their God. But ask them how they apply the Word of God including:

“When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid. “But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. “And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” Luke 14:12-14

“Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8

The bible doesn’t say to bless the rich and use one another? Everyone pays the price for how they ministered to one another, whether it be out of a heart of love for the brethren or whether is was from a heart of seeking after gain. They lose and pay when they strive to get ahead using worldly measures and don’t keep their heart right and live righteously.  They lose and pay for their mistakes when they seek after worldly gain by using the brethren to make a profit.  They lose when they follow after the multitudes who lust after riches, and use God’s word and the gifts He has given them as the tools in which they wish to profit by. They lose when they don’t repent of using God’s people for their own gain.  They need to turn from mammon to God once again. They need to return to their first love. They need to draw near to God and keep their eyes on Him. They need to cast all their cares upon Him. They need to check their heart, their motives and their love for one another.  For without love they will not prosper in anything that they do.

Many Christians and ministries use the words “we love and care for you” so flippantly. But God so loved that He gave His only son. Love and care are words that if expressed with out action are not only a clanging cymbal but hypocritical.  To say that “I love God” but not express it in deeds to His people is hypocritical.  No wonder the churches in America are mostly empty because the hearts of the people are empty and devoid of true meaning and demonstration of the word love. Again strong words but true ones! Until we recognize this to be true, we will not be delivered or healed but will continue to go in our wilderness ways and experiences.

There are many in the house of God today seek the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit but they also miss out the first and second commandment which is:

Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”  Mark 12:29-31

True revival will come to America when each individual understands and puts into application the meaning neither of the apostolic creed nor the catechism of the church nor doctrines of their denomination but the first and second commandment of God. Until then all the laughter movements and other revival movements, as well as any form of Evangelism are just a waste of time. For those who do not obey and demonstrate the most important commandments of God, do not know nor Love the Shepherd. Anything that is done with out love profits nothings. God’s word says it:

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1Corinthians 13:1-3

If all of God’s people obeyed and did the first two commandments of loving God and their neighbor there would be no more need of preaching in churches and this world would never be the same. For most of God’s people to confess Psalm 23 is not only a waste of time but a mockery of God and His kingdom for they pay Him lips service and their heart is far from Him. Actions speaks louder than words and true active love, the kind Jesus showed and talked about, is very rare to find in the house of God never mind America. Many of God’s people will have to confess and pray another psalm:

Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight- That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge.  Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.  Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,  And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.  Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.  Make me hear joy and gladness,  That the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence,  And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,  And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,  And sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:4-11

While others who think that they have arrived will have to confess and pray:

O Lord, open my lips,  And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.  For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;  You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,  A broken and a contrite heart- These, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;  Build the walls of Jerusalem.  Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,  With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. Psalm 51:15-19

They will have to seriously consider and understand the words of Jesus about them who said:

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. John 15:1-10

It’s to be noted that anybody, including an Evangelical or Pentecostal, who preaches a Christianity based solely on words devoid of true miracles, signs and wonders isn’t demonstrating the character of Christ whom God anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power, and who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Rom. 5:5 KJV)

STRETCH

AA STRETCH TO A NEW LEVEL :

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory… -2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV

Today, if you’re not seeing in your life what God promised in your spirit, then you aren’t finished yet! What you see is only temporary. It’s time to keep moving forward. Don’t put your stakes down; don’t settle here. If where you’re living doesn’t match what God put in your spirit, be grateful, keep a good attitude, but keep stretching to a new level. If the medical report doesn’t agree with what God says about you, don’t accept it as the way it’s always going to be. Your attitude should be, “This is just a season that I’m passing through. I’m coming into health, wholeness and victory.”

Maybe it’s even something good. God has blessed you: a family, a job, health. You’ve seen His favor, but you know there are greater levels in front of you. It’s easy to think, “I’m happy. I have no complaints. God has been good to me.” But, I’ve learned that good is the enemy of great. You may be doing good. You’re using your gifts, but deep down you know you have more in you. Don’t let good be an excuse to keep you from God’s best. Stir up your greatness and stretch into a new level!

THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT :

Mark 8:12, “And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.”

The Greek word used here for “sighed deeply” means an intense grieving, inaudible prayer, or groan. This is intercession of the Holy Spirit, with groanings that cannot be uttered. Some Spirit-filled Christians believe this means groanings that cannot be uttered in normal speech and that this refers to speaking in tongues. However, this actually refers to a type of intercession different than speaking in tongues.

In John 11:33 and 38, Jesus groaned in the Spirit twice, and in those cases there were no words uttered. It was exactly as the Scripture states, a groaning in the Spirit. Everyone who has the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit has or will have this happen to them. Paul was referring to this in Galatians 4:19 when he spoke of travailing in birth for the Galatians. This groaning of the Holy Spirit is not just a grief but a groan of anger and resistance against Satan’s devices in our lives. Many times, Christians don’t discern this because they think it is just their own grief over the situation. But, this is the Holy Spirit desiring to intercede with us against our problems.

Jesus drew on this ministry of the Holy Spirit. John 11:33 and 38 says, that Jesus groaned in the Spirit twice when He raised Lazarus from the dead. What infirmity did Jesus have that He needed this ministry of the Holy Spirit? Jesus had no sin, but He did have an infirmity. It was His physical mind.

Even a sinless human mind could not comprehend raising a man from the grave after four days. If Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to help Him when He didn’t know how to pray, then this should certainly be an important ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

KEEP WORKING GOD’S WORD

If there’s one thing on this planet that I’m sure of, it’s that the Word of God works! His principles are true, and He is faithful to His promises. But in order for the Word of God to work in your life, you have to keep working the Word of God.

When you are working something, it simply means you are putting it to use or in operation. The Bible shouldn’t just be a decorative book on your shelf or coffee table. It’s not just an accessory to bring to church on Sunday. The Bible is God’s divinely inspired word. It is a part of His virtue. His Word never goes out of style, it’s never obsolete, it will never fade away– it’s the number one bestseller of all time! Think about that for a minute. Think about how technology has changed over the years. You can buy a computer, and in a matter of months, it’s outdated. It’s old. But God’s Word never gets old! It’s been around for thousands of years, and it’s still relevant today. That’s why it’s so important that we put it to use in our lives.

Hebrews tells us that the Word of God is living and active. It’s a powerful seed, and when we plant that seed in the soil of our hearts and water it with the words of our mouth, we will begin to see it come to pass in our lives. We will begin to see life flow through our beings—our mind, will and emotions as His Word cleanses our thoughts and attitudes, changing us to be more like Him.

If you need a change in any area of your life, working the Word will make a difference. Make the decision to meditate on His Word every day. Ask Him to direct you and reveal Himself to you. And no matter what else demands your attention, remember: keep working the Word, and it will work in your life!

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12, ESV)

JESUS IS YOUR WISDOM

1 CORINTHIANS 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…

God wants us to go after wisdom. In the Book of Proverbs, God tells us wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7). We are not to go after riches. But when we have wisdom, all the things we seek will follow after us, including honor and length of days. So never make riches your goal!

My friend, if you lack wisdom, simply ask God for it. He will give it to you “liberally and without reproach” (James 1:5). The truth is that He has already given you wisdom when He gave you Jesus, “who became for us wisdom from God”.

So if you are facing a challenge at work and you don’t know how to resolve it, say, “Jesus, You are my wisdom. I thank You that You will provide me with the best solution.” If you have a wayward child, say, “Jesus, thank You for wisdom in loving and raising this child well.”

Beloved, meditate on how Jesus, in whom resides all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, is in you, with you and for you today. He will lead you to do the right thing at the right time!

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS

Haman, the villain in the story of Esther, hated the Jews and sought to exterminate them. He succeeded in getting a decree issued to annihilate all the Jews in one day.

But God used Queen Esther and Mordecai, both Jews, to turn the tables on Haman and save their people.

Haman was hanged, while a counter-decree was given that allowed the Jews to defend themselves and destroy their enemies in one day. And so, God turned what had begun as an evil day for the Jews into many good days. He turned their mourning into rejoicing and gave them victory over their enemies.

God can do the same for you today. He can turn the tables on your enemies and turn your sadness into joy! Simply rest in Jesus’ finished work at the cross, which has set you above every evil assault the devil attempts to throw at you, and watch your evil day turn into days of rejoicing!

When life comes against you, remember, cast your cares on the Lord because He cares for you!

When life comes against you, remember, cast your cares on the Lord because He cares for you!

God is with you today and always.

We are not weak, helpless or defeated – We are redeemed, victorious, mighty, blessed, world over-comers through Jesus Christ who loves us!

YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT

In order to be a good soldier in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ, it not enough to just be saved. There is much more for you: You need to be baptized with the Holy Ghost!

In Paul’s time, some believers didn’t even know there was a Holy Ghost. “He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since you believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost” (Acts 19:2). These people were saved, but it is clear they were not filled with the Holy Ghost.

I believe we are saved through the power and ministry of the Holy Ghost. But Scripture tells us that in addition to this, there is also a baptizing, an infilling that the Holy Ghost does.

Jesus did not send His disciples into the world until they had been baptized with the Holy Ghost. The disciples had pure hearts and faith to heal the sick and they were witnesses to His resurrection. They were even willing to die for Jesus, so what more could there be?

Clearly there was more! “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Do you really want the Holy Ghost? You have to be convinced this is for you. You must come to the place where you know you are nothing, have nothing, and can do nothing without the power and leading of the Holy Ghost.

Every hour of the day, multitudes worldwide have read of this promise in the Bible or have heard it preached. So they have cried out in prayer and been baptized with the Holy Ghost.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh . . . I will pour out in those days of My Spirit” (Acts 2:17-18). He is yours for the asking: “How much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?” (Luke 11:13).

PRAYER FOR THE DAY :

“Who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:5)

Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. This is the day the Lord has made; let me rejoice and be glad in it. Let the morning breeze bring me the joy of heaven and refresh my mind to receive new blessings from the Lord. May the Lord reach down to me and anoint me with oil and renew my strength that I will soar on wings like eagles’! Bless me O Lord; let me grow strong in Christ and inherit all You have from today till eternity for I am the one you love most.

Gratefully, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen !!!

THIRD WAVE FALSE REVIVALS

BC

The Blatant Hypocrisy of The Third Wave False Apostles and Prophets

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

Acts 10: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

The Third Wave preacher and fools still get sick. They still die of cancer unhealed. Their marriages fall apart. They struggle with alcohol. They commit adultery. They are devoid of real honesty, integrity, truth and accountability. They run away from constructive biblical criticism, judgment and rebuke and throw false words around like “Judge Not!” Touch not my anointed” and “You are off the devil.” Their arrogance and snobbery stinks to high heaven! Their so called miracles and healing are not substantiated or documented in the news media!  They would like to have us believe that Jesus said:
“When I go away i will send the Holy Spirit who will cause you to twitch, shake, quake and behave like animals?”

They truly are demonized and don’t know it! Watch the video: STACEY CAMPBELL THE WITCHhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-VIR82MGqE

Their leaders suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)   in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and to others in the process

They deceive undiscerning ones  with names such as Apostle Steve Strang and General James Goll. Third Wave fools like Matt Sorger the Benny Hinn clone CLAIM THAT HE unlocks destinies as he equips believers with the artillery of the Word of God, giving out essential keys on how to take down our individual Goliaths when it’s all garbage that doesn’t work. But of course they are money changers who sell videos, cd’s, book , are always requesting money and talk about a nonexistent wealth transfer which never happens?

1. MATT SORGER: THE MAKING OF A WARRIOR

In this message Matt Sorger unlocks destinies as he equips believers with the artillery of the Word of God, giving out essential keys on how to take down our individual Goliaths. Matt makes it clear that we will not step into our destinies without a fight, sharing on the results and power of the smooth stones of sustainability, endurance, brokenness, repentance, and faith. This is a vital word that will catapult you to your next level of influence, authority, power, and victory in your land of inheritance.

2. CINDY JACOBS: RELEASING THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO DISCIPLE NATIONS

This is a crucial message where Cindy Jacobs discusses the importance of holiness as we walk forth in the great commission of Christ. When you walk into a movie theatre, are you risking your holiness for the sake of entertainment, she questions. Cindy shares that God wants to marry righteousness and justice. We are obligated as believers to take the message of holiness into the world and the industries of society. We need holiness preaching, she zealously states. Cindy also shares on Gods heart to see the eradication of systemic poverty, and the successful implementation of this vision in her local church and the potential for the impact the church can have on the world in establishing Gods Kingdom.

3. JAMES GOLL: BATTLE PLAN FOR OVERCOMERS

In this message of truth, James Goll clearly explains that all true spiritual warfare is positioned against the Son of God in your life. We are all called to be in the Army of the Lord, and General James Goll gives invaluable warfare strategies and points on how to overcome. It is the enemys tactic for the believer to be deceived to think that opposition means you are doing something wrong, but take note! Bounce back boy, James Goll shares from his own personal life experiences that demonic opposition means you may just be doing something right! You will be able to apply what James teaches concerning overcoming spiritual warfare in every area of your life!

4. CINDY JACOBS: REBUILDING THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID

Cindy Jacobs has a dream. And this dream is of the rebuilding of the tabernacle of David. In this message, prophetic and intercessory general Cindy Jacobs discusses an important key to releasing souls, wealth, social justice, and reformation in the end times. It is the key of David and the restoration of his tabernacle. Cindy discusses how 24/7 worship and prayer should be established in communities all over the nations, “so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord.”

5. ROBERT STEARNS: WATCHMEN ON THE WALL

Heavens clarion call is beckoning NOW for watchmen to stand on the wall for the nation of Israel. As an ambassador of the Kingdom of God, it is the heart passion and assignment of Robert Stearns to make the Body of Christ aware of this urgent matter. There is no coincidence that Jerusalem is mentioned in the Bible 700 times. And in this message Robert gives clarity on our role as saints of righteous acts, to see Gods heart for Jerusalem accomplished upon the earth today. We are coming into a season of divine acceleration and, It is time for us to be willing to be answers to our very own prayers, discusses Robert Stearns. He continues on to share that, this is a battle for sound. The consequences of losing this battle may be much higher than you realized.

6. JAMES GOLL: SIGNS OF THE THIRD GREAT AWAKENING

In this powerful message James Goll shares a riveting and prophetic dream that included David Yonggi Cho and the coming great spiritual awakening. It is a message of hope and a celebration of the God of the NOW, as the Body of Christ stands on the brink of societal transformation and reformation, where ordinary people will be empowered to do extraordinary acts. James also teaches on the differences between revival, renewal, outpouring, and awakening.

Me says: November 14, 2010 at 6:39 am

Are you walking in miracles, healings, and signs and wonders. If you are, are they real, or do you pretend? If someone says they feel better after praying, do you boast that God healed them and then convince yourself that’s all you need? I have seen tens of thousands of claimed healings, and only a handful of ones that may have been legitimate. This includes Lakeland. When people talk about signs and wonders now it makes me feel ill, because I know they pass off every little thing as something supernatural. Todd Bentley is one of the best examples. Even after the Lakeland experience, he’s claiming an angel was on stage with him in Reno because there is a blur in a picture that was taken. I take pictures as a hobby, and I get that kind of blur all the time. It’s nothing supernatural, but to that crowd, it’s a sign and wonder and they use that to justify that God is with them. Any average person sees that and stays away, believing that all that Christian stuff must be all fake if they really believe a blur on a photograph is an angel.

Also, if all the signs and wonders stuff, and intimacy, glory, anointing, etc. is supposed to change us and make us more like Jesus… how come it doesn’t? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that the people preaching this the loudest, are the most dishonest, and have the most to hide. You can say I’m judging people, and that people make mistakes, yada yada yada, I’ve heard all that. The fact remains that the lives of those who most follow this are not any better than those who don’t. They still get sick, they still die of cancer. Their marriages fall apart. They struggle with alcohol. They commit adultery.

So, is the gospel message simply that some weird cooky things will happen, you will get to fulfill all your lusts, but God will forgive you anyway? Didn’t Jesus come to give us life more abundantly? Where’s that fruit in people’s lives, cause I’m not seeing it?

RECEIVE

houseGOD OF THE VALLEYS TOO

1 KINGS 20:28 Then a man of God came and spoke to the king of Israel, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Because the Syrians have said, “The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the valleys,” therefore I will deliver all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

In the darkest moments of our lives, we often feel like God is a thousand miles away. God is with us on the mountaintops, we think, but in the valleys, we’re all alone.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In 1 Kings 20, the Syrian king was told that Syria had fought Israel on the hills and lost because Israel’s God was the God of the hills. So if they fought the Israelites in the valleys, they would win. Of course, the misinformed Syrians lost again because God is a God of the valleys too!

My friend, there’s nowhere you can go where you’re not covered by God’s mercy and grace. Whether you are in the pink of health or terribly ill in the valley of the shadow of death, He is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. So don’t lose hope. The God of the valleys is your strength. He will uphold you with His righteous right hand and deliver you from your enemies!

BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST :

JOHN 15:5 – “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

In this verse, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.” In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches. We do not have to struggle to become the branches.

As His branches, we only have to abide or remain in Christ our vine. How do we do that? We do that by simply being conscious every day of our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence.

What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ. The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health. The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position—that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6) He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)

The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says that you will bear “much fruit”. This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow. When you pray for healing, sickness will leave.

My friend, none of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of provision, healing and miracles. You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ!

God Abundantly Supplies All Your Needs

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.     Philippians 4:19

According to this verse, you are rich. You are not trying to be rich. It does not matter how much you are earning or how much you have in your bank account. You are rich because as your need arises, God’s supply will be there for you.

This was the case for a church member who worked as a consultant. For months, he could not secure any major deals. But while attending one of our church camps held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he received a word on financial provision. After the camp, he extended his stay in Kuala Lumpur and bumped into an old friend who gave him a big project that paid a huge sum! He needed a major breakthrough and God abundantly supplied his need.

In the Bible, there is an account of a couple who had a big need on their wedding day. They had run out of wine. Now, you would expect wedding couples to know how many guests to expect on their big day and to plan accordingly. But perhaps this couple did not have the money to buy enough wine. Whatever the reason was, Jesus saved them from embarrassment and shame. He saved the day when He supplied their need by miraculously turning six pots of water into top-quality wine. (John 2:1–10) Our Lord Jesus abundantly supplied the need of that couple.

Beloved, whatever needs you have, God wants you to know that His supply will be there for you. You have His Word for it. He promises that He will supply all your needs, not just some. And He will supply all your needs according to and not out of His riches. This means that He lines up from A to Z all of His resources for your every need!

My friend, rejoice that you are rich “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. This is far greater and more dependable than the temporal riches that you might have from any earthly source!

Thought For The Day
God lines up all of His resources for your every need!

GOD ALWAYS HEALS

We want to assure you that not only does God always heal; He has already provided healing for every person on the earth, just as He has provided forgiveness of sins and redemption. God does not change. He is the Lord that heals us (Ex. 15:26), the Lord who sent His Word to heal us (Ps. 107:20), the Lord who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases (Ps. 103:1-3), the Lord who bore our sicknesses on the cross (Isa. 53:4-5), the Lord who healed all who came to Him (Matt. 8:16), the Lord who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him (Acts 10:38), the Lord who set the church against sickness and commanded us to go and to heal the sick (Matt. 10:8), the Lord who told us that greater works would we do (John 14:12), the Lord who gives us power to lay hands on the sick and they recover (Mark 16:18), the Lord who confirms His Word with signs following (Mark 16:20), the Lord who healed the sick in the early church through the ministries of Peter, Paul and other believers (Acts), the Lord who gives gifts of healings to the church for the church age (1 Cor. 12:9), and the Lord who asks through James if there are any sick among us (James 5:14).

BELIEVE AND RECEIVE :

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24, NIV)

Has God spoken things to your heart that haven’t come to pass yet? Anytime you step out to believe God, the enemy will try to distract and discourage you in order to get you off course. But when you receive that promise by faith, when you hold it in your heart, when you picture it in your mind and declare it with your words, you begin to feel more confident. You feel empowered and settled in your heart. You begin to have joy and peace because you know God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

I encourage you today, grab hold of the promises of God and don’t let go! Can you see it in your mind’s eye? Can you see yourself healed? Can you see yourself paying off that last debt? Can you see yourself at your ideal weight? Can you see yourself sharing the gospel with a family member or coworker? Ask the Lord to give you a vision for your future. Open your heart and allow His thoughts to become your thoughts. Receive His promises by faith, and just like it says in today’s verse — whatever you ask for in prayer will be yours!
