Todd Bentley now carries the label of a liar and a deceiver. I’m sorry to mention it, but I felt personally deceived in the same way when Ted Haggard’s sin was exposed and he was immediately removed from ministry…
Suffice it to say that there is more than I am going to mention. First of all, Todd has been removed from public ministry until further notice. He has resigned from the ministry he founded, Fresh Fire, so he is no longer a part of that board. It has become clear that he indulged in periodic drunkenness. He has no intention at the moment of reconciling with Shonna, nor does she with him. Their marriage has been torn for years by his emotional attachment with at least one other female whose physical contact went beyond hugging and kissing and holding hands. Enough said-maybe more details will be revealed later-but it was clearly immoral. Well after reading through some of what people have written on here I would like to add my 10 cents worth
I worked for Todd for over 5 years and travelled with him.
Do I agree with what he has done? No. His wife and children are suffering beyond belief. Having to sell their house because a single mom can’t afford a mortgage and Shonnah was a stay at home mom. She has endured much heartache and yet has been gracious through it all. We all can learn from her
As for his remarriage, I have sat back and watched this all unfold. Him having vacations ( prior to marriage) with his girlfriend, in Hawaii and getting drunk and who knows what else went on, does not constitute repentance.
Repentance is when you “turn from your wicked ways” but he continued to do what he wanted till he was married and then came back for “healing”. I cannot see what is in his heart but his actions speak volumes. There is much more that I can say on this subject.
Does God forgive? Yes and we should too but I do not think he should ever be placed in a position of leadership. How can you when the example you are giving doesn’t line up with the word of God?
My husband left me for another woman after 16 yrs of being together and he is now married. The after math of what I am going through has been far reaching. Whether financially, emotionally, whatever, it doesn’t go away over night.

Sharon, 1 John 3:6-8 says “No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil.”
This passage is warning us that those who continue to sin are leading us astray – their teachings are not to be trusted, if they believed rightly they would have had power over their own sin…. I hope you will take another look at Bentley’s teachings as compared to the word of God for your own sake. There is a power that comes from uncrucified flesh that works counterfeit miracles, yes, even in the name of Jesus – I believe this is actually occult power. The true power that comes from the Spirit comes through the cross, ie, the disciple’s cross, (which is also Jesus’ cross really, they are one and the same in a sense), that we are to carry to crucify our flesh as we follow Jesus.

He hasn’t changed a bit – still the same old manipulative, evasive, deceitful ways. Not a sign of remorse, brokenness, or insight into his own problems. To me he’s exposed here as only looking out for #1. He still badly needs therapy – is Rick Joyner any kind of a qualified Christian therapist? Apparently whatever he’s been doing with T.B. has been a failure because absolutely nothing has changed. Restoration means to restore back to the image God had in mind before the created thing went haywire. Todd Bentley is not restored. I think this time all he will have left is a cult following, if he has anything – unfortunately there always seems to be those willing to follow cult leaders and can’t see the truth even when it slaps them in the face – BAM! – but the Way of Jesus Christ of Nazareth it is not. They’re going to get back the same rapid-fire auctioneer peddling his wares to a manipulated crowd that they had before. And I’m very sorry if the world looks at that insane spectacle and blames Jesus. Maybe God will have mercy and not let things get off the ground this time, or at least shut it down sooner if it does get started.
How is it with these Pentecostal/Charismatic Christians is okay to be committed adultery, separate, divorce, lie, steal and even commit perjury? In my opinion they are not even Christians because Jesus said:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “Therefore by their fruits you will know them. “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Todd Bentley Is Not A Christian
Jesus heals, I must disagree with you when you wrote, “Miracles and gifts of the spirit don’t validate a Christian. The fruit of the spirit validates a Christian. peace, love, patience, hope, joy, faith.” First, you did not mention all of the fruit of the Spirit but I know what you mean (Gal. 5: 22 -23). The reason why I disagree with you is because you continuously mis-identify people, like Todd Bentley as a Christian. He is not a Christian nor are those who go chasing after the counterfeit signs and so-called miracles that he and others misrepresent as being from the Holy Spirit. Real Christian Believers do not get deceived and offer counterfeits because they draw attention to themselves and they cannot tell the difference between the work of the Holy Spirit and the work of the devil and demons. They do not do the things that the New Testament tells us clearly are the work and character of authentic Christian believers. They glory in their sin and make excuses for their adulterous work, drunkenness and love of money to say nothing of all the works of the flesh which they seem to think are the fruit of the Holy Spirit. As a man once told me: “If it doesn’t look like a sheep, and eat like a sheep and talk like a sheep and do sheep things, it isn’t a sheep”. Well, just stop and look at all the un-Scriptural things these people are doing. They do not look like Christians, they don’t eat as Christians, they do not talk like Christians and they do not do Christian things. So, they are not Christians.
Jesus tells us that the “signs” following confirm the preaching of the Word and prove who are authentic believers. This is very clear when you examine the Greek definition of “signs”. They were the reason why Nicodemus said to Jesus, “Rabbi, we know that you are a man sent from God; for no man could do these signs that you do, unless God is with him” (Jn. 3: 2). The legitimate 15 Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 12: 6 – 8; 1 Cor. 12: 8 – 10)prove that we are authentic believers. The fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5: 22 – 23) describes the Character of Jesus which the Holy Spirit develops us so that we can use the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Because the real or authentic Gifts of the Holy Spirit are not being used and encouraged with these counterfeit Christians who demonstrate counterfeit gifts, we have to be very careful in choosing our words as I think you have done in your letter. I learned a long time ago that there are “Christians” and there are “christians” (religious people) who are not believers. People, like the person you mentioned who received healing and made the mistake of attributing it to Todd Bentley has not learned that whoever calls on Jesus will catch Jesus’ attention, even while watching a deceptive person pretending to be a believer, and answer their prayer and heal them. When I examine these counterfeit Christians, according to Scripture, they are not believers according to Jesus Christ. Because most pastors and churches do not encourage the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and use the 15 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, they are easy victims when the counterfeits are demonstrated. This is an important ministry that we have in the churches that I am invited to preach and do ministry. As you know it is “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4: 12). So, I suggest that you do not look upon such people as Christians because they are not.
Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself. Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name. Restore us, O LORD God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved! Psalm 80:17-19

To solve any problem in life we must first admit there is a problem. And then we must define the problem and work and pray for a solution to the problem. Brother T. Job Anbalagan of the Glory of His Cross Prophetic Ministries in his article “Revival Through Prophesy[i] ” has defined very well why we need a revival
An unsaved person is spiritually dead. He is a lost soul, as he has not been redeemed from the sin by the Blood of Jesus. He is to be born again in the Spirit of God. There are millions of souls in the world awaiting revival from their spiritual death, which came through Adam. On the contrary, a saved soul is spiritually alive. Nevertheless, he may be spiritually weak, dormant, dull, unconscious or oblivious. He has a name that he lives but is dead (Rev.3: 1). There are thousands of saved souls or born-again Christians in our midst, falling under this category. Though they are born again, yet they are spiritually dumb, deaf, and blind. They are dumb because they do not tell others about what Jesus has done for them or about the need for salvation through Jesus; they are shy of witnessing for Christ. They are deaf because they hardly discern the voice of Jesus through the word of God; they are hard of hearing either the footsteps of the coming Messiah from above or the heart-rending cries of lost souls down from the bottomless pit. They are blind because they do not perceive the suffering Christ in the garb of afflicted strangers who visit their houses for help or who remain sick or in prison (Matt.25: 35-40). There are many saved Christians who slumber spiritually. They have lost their first love for God. Once they were zealous for God actively engaged in soul-winning or helping the mission fields. The spirit of deep sleep has now come upon them (Is.29:10).
There are many believers who have fallen unconscious spiritually and lost their senses. They have become indifferent to lost souls and the work in the Lord’s vineyard. They do not have the agonizing mind of Christ. Neither do they feel the agonies of the other members of the Body of Christ. “…Whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it…” (I Cor.12: 26). They have no concern for the suffering missionaries on the mission fields or the poor saints in the House of God.
There is yet another category of Christians who are oblivious of their duties and responsibilities in the vineyard of God in this darkest hour as they give preference to the mundane things.
All these kinds of the children of God are likened to the children of Israel who have become “the dry bones” in the prophetic book of Ezekiel (Ch.1). Their lives are not different from the lives of the unsaved persons. They are like the dry bones in the churches of God, whereas the unsaved persons are like the dry bones in the world. Prophetically speaking, all these children of God represent the last or the end-time Church of the Laodiceans who were lukewarm and were neither cold nor hot. They are spiritually complacent and say, “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing”. However, the Holy Spirit points to them, “thou art wretched, and miserably, and poor, and blind, and naked”. The Holy Spirit who has been constantly grieved by the lives of such children of God is still standing at the door and knocking at their hearts, unwilling to desert them because of His long-suffering. “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Rev.3: 14-22). The bride of the Song of Solomon sleeps but her heart wakes and hears the voice of her Beloved “that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night” (Song 5:2).
Since all these children of God are the individual members of the invisible Body of Christ, the Church, they are to be revived first. God will send a might revival to this world only through the revived members of the Body of Christ.
There are many demonic inspired movements in Christendom today that talk about a revival but they are not real revival because they don’t involve the whole body of Christ and they don’t affect society and this includes especially the ones in the Third Wave and Rodney Howard Browne and Todd Bentley which are man centered and not Christ centered!
Todd Bentley [ii] is the tattooed former criminal who in July 2008 stepped down from his controversial revival in Florida over an affair with a woman. Bentley, raised in Gibsons, B.C., was known to be a heavy drinker. During his ecstatic services he would often punch or kick sick people in the name of healing them. It wasn’t his outrageous claims of raising the dead that finally landed Todd Bentley in trouble. Not the contradictory sermons, or even his criminal past. Not the face piercings, the neck-toknee tattoos, the biker-dude lifestyle. His followers could live with all that; it was part of the act.
Bentley, a 32-year-old former drug addict from the west coast, was the hottest thing going on the global televangelist circuit. A hog-riding faith healer with a devil-may-care attitude. Then he failed his flock, the old fashioned way: cheating on his wife. Todd Bentley, disgraced, went into hiding for six months and then resurfaced.
In 2009 after the revival failed and Todd Bentley [iii] divorced his wife, Rick Joyner led the restoration team which included leaders who had vouched for Bentley’s good character in the past even as he was deceiving us all, and has posted a letter on his web page. We are informed that ‘Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can. ‘
Their being married far from making it right has in my view made matters even worse and totally disqualified Todd Bentley from any reinstatement in ministry in the foreseeable future. It means there is no repentance. He has simply gone into outright rebellion by marrying his mistress. Even if his wife had chosen to divorce him, which does not seem to be the case, a more judicious, moral and righteous course of action would have been to break off this adulterous relationship and stay celibate before God Instead, he remarries quickly. And we are put before the fait accompli. Is there a recent translation of the New Testament that decrees that the solution to adultery is to quickly divorce the offended party and marry the mistress?
Canadian Revivalist Todd Bentley preached on seven fold restoration including the restoration of marriage [iv] and had a mistress during the Lakeland demonic revival and-was drunk most of the time – He stated:
If your marriage needs to be restored then stir up your faith and ask: “My God, please, I want You to restore my marriage, and I want it to be better than it was in the first place. I want there to be double the intimacy.” Get aggressive. Don’t just settle for an “okay, restore my marriage” attitude. “Restore my marriage and give it to me double!”
So why did Todd divorce his wife and not practice what he preached? Because he is a hypocrite, a false one, a son of hell just like all the preachers in the Third Wave!
Rick Joyner and Bill Johnson being both caught up in the realm of deceiving spirits, could only reinforce TB’s behavior. TB’s declaration of “opening up the stargate portals to the third heaven” had absolutely nothing to do with God or His heavenly realms…it is based on previous declarations by high level occultist. His “angel” connections were not God’s angels, they are familiar spirits and demonic forces. What he does and declares is UTTERLY SATANIC…not “just a little eccentric.” The opening up of these “portals” that TB is engaged in is activated by his own soul power/soul energy called kundalini in Hinduism. Rodney Howard Browne [v] made his ministry known in the USA by playing to a large audience at the Charismatic Carpenter’s Home Church in 1993 and 1994. Through approval by Benny Hinn, who launched him at his own meeting, and Kenneth Copeland’s church meeting along with airplay by TBN He brought the new thing to naïve and silly Christians who were open for just about anything to happen and call it God. And so the new latter rain movement got a shot in the arm with laughing hysterically and being inebriated on the floor.
Rodney who believes in nepotism in his meetings taught that not only it was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep but only God was to judge pastors, not the (dumb) sheep! He also taught that it was more important to give than to receive and spend a lot of time receiving offerings that he spent on himself and family members.
Rodney also taught that thieves were to be blessed and rewarded, not judged for this is what Jesus would want them to do! So he blessed thieving Karl Strader with a new Lincoln town car with money raised from the dumb sheep when Karl robbed him but refused to help any of Dan Strader’s victims [vi].
James Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries writes in his article The Delusional World Of Mark Stibbe & St Andrews Chorleywood [vii]:
From Kansas City to the religious fiasco in Toronto, to the failed revival at Brownsville resulting in a major church split and public financial scandal, and on to the infamous heresy and abuse of Lakeland. The same odious characters at the core attracting like-minded charlatans including the Strader brothers, Daniel imprisoned until 2036 for defrauding elderly Christians out of $3 million and Stephen who was thought by the judge to be just as guilty.
After Bentley’s exposure in the USA on ABC Nightline he was swiftly removed from ministry to prevent further scrutiny. Not only was he unable to provide evidence of a single healing, many who were pronounced healed have since died. Furthermore the Arnold Palmer Hospital has stated that claims of resurrections were bogus
For those that don’t know, in 2008 (April to July) there was a revival in Lakeland Florida where people were thrown around by some invisible force (which they, Charisma Magazine insisted was the Holy Spirit). People shook violently on stage claiming the most bizarre manifestations, visions and visitations by angles. Todd Bentley punched and kicked people to heal them, spoke of visiting people in dreams and also told of countless trips to heaven where he once stuffed his pockets with gold from a treasury room. He blasphemously baptised people in the name of the father, the son and the bam. But who could forget the 39 people claimed risen from the dead.
The jerking in Toronto, Brownsville, Lakeland or any other revival place is not a sign of the Holy Spirit but of a Kundalini demon which infiltrated Christianity mainly in North America through Rodney Howard Browne! The fact is the bible never talks about “jerking” being an attribute of the Holy Spirit but rather it states but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control THE KEY WORD HERE IS SELF-CONTROL AND WHEN YOU ARE POSSESSED BY A DEMONIC KUNDALINI SPIRIT THERE IS NO CONTROL AND THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG AND AGAINST SCRIPTURE!

Seven Blessings in Partnership!
Please take a moment to pray and read through this teaching article on the seven blessing and benefits of partnership. I believe there are some great promises of breakthrough for you and your family as we stand biblically on the Word of God about sowing, partnership, and reaping. We need to be armed with the truth of God’s Word to receive the fullness of His blessing in this time. I give seven promises of blessing for those that partner with us. Standing on the truth of God’s Word will help us recover lost blessings and give us better understanding to receive the fullness of God’s promises in our giving. This is definitely a season of increase and great breakthrough. We are focused at this time on praying for our ministry partners and asking the Lord for 300 NEW harvest partners. I want to encourage you in being a covenant partner with our ministry by sharing some of these promises in God’s Word on the blessing of partnership.
Partnership Defined!
Partnership is the relationship between two or more individuals or groups that agree to share a common responsibility and ultimately achieve one common goal.
Partnership in ministry is a well-established principle in God’s Word. It comes from the Greek word koinonia which means “partnership or reciprocity, a sharer or to give someone a share, an associate” with others in ministry. The true intimacy of the word partnership is their relationship in receiving a mutual resource. The Amplified Bible defines partnership as “sympathetic cooperation and contributions in advancing the good news.”
“Partner” comes from an Old French word parconier, which mean “joint owner and/or joint heir.” The word “ship” comes from the Old English word -sciepe, which means “state or condition of being.” Put them together and the word literally means “the state of being a joint owner.” In other words, “what you got I got.”
We are the generation that is going to see strategic prophetic partnerships brought together by the Holy Spirit so we can gather the huge harvest of souls for His Kingdom.
Biblical Promise
Be encouraged by these verses in The Bible as Paul describes giving (partnership) with the Gospel!
“I thank God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now” (Philippians 1:3-5 ESV).
Paul goes on to say “I hold you in my heart as partakers and sharers, one and all with me, of grace (God’s unmerited favor and spiritual blessing)” (Philippians 1:7 AMP). When we partner with the spreading of the Gospel and support the minister, we enter into becoming a shareholder of the grace and fruit. Wow!
“But it was right and commendable and noble of you to contribute for my needs and to share my difficulties with me. And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up account in giving and receiving except you only” (Philippians 4: 14-15 AMP).

We know that in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all of your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” was written to people who were partnering with Paul in the Gospel and gave to his ministry on a regular basis. Paul confirmed that in I Corinthians 16:2 when he wrote, “On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside.”
I love that even Jesus had those who were touched and set free by His ministry that gave back to Him and the disciples out of their substance.

Another Jesus A Different Spirit A Different Gospel
For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it! 2 Corinthians 11:4
We have today in the church of Jesus Christ false prophets, seducers, liars and thieves masquerading as men of God, including people like Rodney Howard Browne, Rick Joyner, Bill Johnson, Todd Bentley, Peter Wagner, who through the Third Wave give rise to seducing Spirits and doctrines of devils.
The Third Wave is a revival of the theology of the Latter Rain tent revivals of the 1950s and 1960s led by William Branham and others. It is based on the idea that in the end times there will be an outpouring of supernatural powers on a group of Christians that will take authority over the existing church and the world. The believing Christians of the world will be reorganized under the Fivefold Ministry and the church restructured under the authority of Prophets and Apostles and others anointed by God. The young generation will form “Joel’s Army” to rise up and battle evil and retake the earth for God.
While segments of this belief system have been a part of Pentecostalism and charismatic beliefs for decades, the excesses of this movement were declared a heresy in 1949 by the General Council of the Assemblies of God, and again condemned through Resolution 16 in 2000. The beliefs and manifestations of the movement include the use of ’strategic level spiritual warfare’ to expel territorial demons from American and world cities. Worship includes excessive charismatic manifestations such as hundreds of people falling, ’slain in the spirit,’ and congregations laughing, jerking, and shrieking uncontrollably.
Rodney Howard-Browne is one of the most controversial and publicized figures of the Third Wave movement. While many of the leaders have been almost invisible in the mainstream media, Howard-Browne and his Holy Laughter anointing have been covered by CNN , Time, Newsweek, PBS, and numerous British media outlets. Howard-Browne refers to himself in many of these articles as the “Holy Ghost bartender.”
He is also one of the most controversial figures in the Evangelical world and is the subject of many hundreds of internet pages from other Evangelical and Fundamentalists discernment groups who view his unusual revival manifestations such as uncontrollable laughter, weeping, shrieking, and animal noises, as cultic. Other conservative Christians also find fault with Howard-Browne’s end time belief that a unified and purified church is currently being restored through a “great awakening” that is manifesting itself through these “signs and wonders.”
Howard-Browne, like the other leaders of the Third Wave, believe that they are raising a great end time army that will take control of the world through spiritual warfare, and triumph over Satan before the millennial reign of Jesus.

Todd Bentley, the criminally convicted homosexual pedophile turned drunken heretic and adulterer who kicked old ladies in the face and stomach on YouTube at the failed Lakeland, Florida counterfeit revival has entered into a biblically adulterous re- marriage while under a “process of restoration” led by biblically proven false prophet Rick Joyner.
Bentley was ring master at a debacle of lunacy and false healing debunked on national TV orchestrated by the infamous Strader family, whom the District Attorney implicated in financial scandals defrauding elderly Christians of millions of dollars. While the Florida District Attorney publicly names Pastor Steve Strader as complicit in the swindling, his brother was sent to prison for over 30 years as a professional gangster under American anti racketeering RICO statutes. Bob Jones was debunked as a sexual predator with vulnerable women while Paul Cain was publicly disclosed to be a drunken pervert with a life long history of alcoholism and homosexuality.
In 2009 after the revival failed and Todd Bentley divorced his wife, Rick Joyner led the restoration team which included leaders who had vouched for Bentley’s good character in the past even as he was deceiving us all, and has posted a letter on his web page. We are informed that ‘Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can.
Their being married far from making it right has in my view made matters even worse and totally disqualified Todd Bentley from any reinstatement in ministry in the foreseeable future. It means there is no repentance. He has simply gone into outright rebellion by marrying his mistress. Even if his wife had chosen to divorce him, which does not seem to be the case, a more judicious, moral and righteous course of action would have been to break off this adulterous relationship and stay celibate before God Instead, he remarries quickly. And we are put before the fait accompli. Is there a recent translation of the New Testament that decrees that the solution to adultery is to quickly divorce the offended party and marry the mistress?
Rick Joyner and Bill Johnson who are both caught up in the realm of deceiving spirits, have been working hard to reinforce Todd Bentley’s unbiblical behavior as acceptable. It’s to be noted Todd Bentley’s s declaration of “opening up the stargate portals to the third heaven” has absolutely nothing to do with God or His heavenly realms…it is based on previous declarations by high level occultist. Bill Johnson and his wife are fascinated by the “mystical” and “mystical experiences.” In his book, “When Heaven Invades Earth,” he has artfully twisted the definition of what an “anointing” is, the character and nature of the Holy Spirit, and the very attitude we are to have before a Holy God. When your posture becomes fixed, uddiyan, jalendhar, and moolband has come involuntarily, your tongue reverts back or rises up towards the soft palate and the whole body becomes so active that you are unable to sit still, your hands and legs stretch out forcibly, you ought to know that the Divine power of the goddess Kundalini has come into action.
4. When your posture becomes fixed and sight is attracted toward the middle point of eyebrows, the eyeballs begin to revolve, you get automatic kewal-kumbhak, cessation of breath comes with no effort for inhaling or exhaling and the mind becomes vacant, void of all outward knowledge, understand that Mahmythe first born Shakti, the goddess Kundalini has come into action.

When no sooner you have sat with eyes closed than in an instant the body begins to show activity of throwing out limbs forcibly, deformed sounds are loudly uttered, your speech begins to utter sounds like those of animals, birds and frogs or of a lion or like those of jackals, dogs, tigers, fear inspiring and not pleasing to hear, understand that the Great Goddess Kundalini has come into action.
10. When you feel vibrations of prana at different stations inside your body and feel its flow wherever you fix your attention and nerves begin to show easy jerks like jerks of electricity as if passing through them, know that the Goddess Kundalini has come into action.
11. When all day and night you feel within your body some activity of prana and whenever you concentrate your mind, your body at once begins to shake or begins tossing and your mind remains filled with joy and bliss at all times, even when at call of nature, even during sleep you feel currents of prna rising up in your sahasrrand even in dreams you experience Her presence, know that the joy-inspiring Kundalini has come into action.
12. As soon as you sit for prayers your body begins to shake and in ecstasy of joy you begin to sing hymns in tones of music charming to hear and whose composition and poetry come out involuntarily, your hands giving a rhythmical clapping, and you pronounce languages you know not, but the sound ecstasizes your mind, know that the Goddess of speech, Saraswati, has awakened into action.
13. When you feel intoxicated without taking any drug, while walking your steps fall majestically or like one drunk and you are unable to do any other work and you like to remain mute and dislike speaking to or hearing others and you feel like one drunk of Divinity, know that your Atma Shakti Kundalini, the power of Self, has come into action.
14. While walking, when your mind is filled with an impulse to walk faster and your feet begin to move a running, you feel your body light like air and do not feel fatigued even having walked long enough, you feel buoyant and joyful, you are not unhappy even in dreams, you can keep the balance of your mind undisturbed in all ups and downs, and you acquire an inexhaustible energy for work, know that the Brahma Shakti Kundalini has come into action.
15. When you are in meditation you see visions divine and fall in a dreamy state of mind, have divine smells, see divine figures, feel divine tastes, hear divine sounds and experience divine touch and receive instructions from Gods, then understand that the divine power of Kundalini has come into action.
16. When you are in meditation, future unfolds its secrets to you or the hidden meaning of scriptures, Vedas and Vedntashine in your understanding, all doubts vanish, you acquire an insight into the abstruse meaning of the works on spiritual science even at their first glance, you acquire strange powers of oratory and feel not the need of approaching even Brahma, the creator himself, for knowledge and you acquire self-confidence, understand then that Kundalini the bestower of siddhis (occult powers) has come into action.

When seated for meditation your sight becomes fixed on the mid of eyebrows, your tongue rises up for Khechari, breath stops altogether and mind plunges into the ocean of bliss, shambhavi mudr operates and you experience the pleasure of savikalpa samdhi, know that subtle power of Kundalini is in action.

Self control has to do with a lot of these God-sent but evil manifestations.
The spirit of prophecy is subject to the prophets, is also a part of self control.
But to apply it to speaking is a problem because of so many of the teachings on our lack of control over the tongue. In terms of the NAR, the lack of volition in some of these animalistic outbursts during praise and worship is a sign that this person is not of God, and God is allowing them to manifest as a sign to anyone who understands the Bible enough to identify it.
And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures. Unlike others of our day both Christian and non-Christian, Jesus Christ didn’t deny the Scriptures, the Old Testament, but used it and opened the understanding of His disciples, the remnant, that they might comprehend Scripture including the Promise of His Father to send power from on high (Joel 2:28-32)! The idea that Scriptures, the Old Testament, is not the inspired word of God, is from the pits of hell for as Paul told Timothy:

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. Many of the Third Wave leaders talk about “Christian wealth transfer but practice an ongoing third wave demon transfer” says Don Koenig of thepropheticyears.com[i].
The whole idea that there will be a wealth transfer from the world to the Church is preposterous. What do they think the world will be doing while we take away their wealth and what in the world would we do with the wealth of the world anyway? Get rid of poverty? Where does it say the Church will do that in scripture? Actually these people will take new found wealth to build more and larger circus tents for their “third wave” freak shows?
There is no such concept of a wealth transfer to the Church in scripture it is totally contrary to what the scripture teaches.

Pytches, Sandy Miller, Nicky Gumbel, Terry Virgo, Gerald Coates, and RT Kendall all quickly jumped on the ‘Kansas City’ bandwagon, but the assured revival never materialized; the diametric opposite transpired instead. Lakeland meetings were also mimicked in Dudley, England and predictably endorsed by Gerald Coates who tried to copy the failed Pensacola revival in London.
Lakeland is the most recent sequel but Kansas City was the prequel. Indeed, the gross distortion of The Book of Joel by the Kansas City false prophets, by means of abandoning biblical exegesis and embracing pure Gnosticism in the mystical subjectivist interpretation of Joel, saw the Babylonian invaders whom God will destroy retro-identified as ‘The Triumphant Church’. The participants at the Docklands fiasco saw the locusts of Joel’s apocalyptic vision identified as the demon cohorts of hell in Revelation chapter 9, re-identified as the ‘Kingdom Now’/ Manifest sons participants in the conference. The mishandling and distortion of scripture was religious madness that set the stage for the next failed revival from Toronto, Canada led by John & Carol Arnott. This was likewise followed by the demise of its American clone at Brownsville Assemblies of God that ended in a massive church split and public financial scandal, but likewise no revival despite an avalanche of big talk and hollow promises.

Now Mark Stibbe has promoted the ‘Third Wave’ sequel of Toronto and Pensacola in Lakeland, Florida . Lakeland pastor Stephen Strader admits it is the continuation of the Toronto and Pensacola phenomena.
According to various news reports, The Florida District Attorney believed Pastor Stephen Strader to be as guilty as his brother Daniel, but obtained a RICO conviction on his brother Daniel, now in prison until 2036 after defrauding elderly Christians out of $3 million dollars. Strader was convicted as a professional racketeer under RICO laws. RICO anti racketeering legislation is used in the prosecution and sentencing of professional gangsters engaged in various forms of organized criminal activity. These are the Strader brothers.
Strader brought in a criminally convicted Canadian homosexual pedophile named Todd Bentley to conduct his counterfeit revival. Bentley was imprisoned for the homosexual molestation of a seven year old before being commissioned to lead the Lakeland pandemonium. Bentley has meanwhile filed for a separation from his wife which by Canadian law is the first step to divorce. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Bentley has a history of adultery excluding him from ministry that has been covered up and has once again become involved in a yet another improper extra marital relationship. Yet it is this same Bentley that Wendy Alec of the so called ‘God Channel’ has defended labeling those critical of him and his carnal antics as being of the devil, and it is this same Lakeland hoax that Mark Stibbe and St. Andrews Chorleywood promulgated aggressively.
Bentley was exposed on national TV in the USA on the ABC Nightline broadcast for being unable to medically document a single claimed healing. Some of those pronounced healed at Lakeland have however since been medically documented as deceased, and a statement by Arnold Palmer hospital likewise contradicts claims of a resurrection from the dead as bogus.
That the ‘Fruit of The Holy Spirit’ according to Galatians is ‘ekreitei’ “Self Control” not the lack of, never mattered to proponents of Toronto or Pensacola. That such Fruit is also ‘gentleness’ does not matter either as Bentley kicks old ladies in the stomach and baptizes people in the name of ‘Bam’. Christ’s own clear and unambiguous warning to avoid those like Bentley who claim His physical return before the ‘parousia’ and revelatory visitations from a healing angel named ‘Emma’ (there are no manifestations of angelic beings as women or as agents of healing in God’s Word) could hardly matter to someone like Mark Stibbe.
It is well know by police and social services that pedophiles frequently profess a religious conversion in prison as a parole stunt and then seek work in scout groups, schools, youth camps and churches in order to get near children. Although Bentley fits this profile, we do not have any evidence of any recent homosexual pedophilia by this self-disfigured heretical freak, however current verified information certainly exists in the public media about his taking his wife to court for a separation and his more recent history of adultery.
But even if he did undergo an authentic regeneration and become a Christian, many ask why he would then say The Lord led him to cover his body with an array of disfiguring tattoos that give him the appearance of a rather freakish goon? Even if his sexual perversion was prior to becoming a Christian as he claims, that is not true of his openly confessed mentor, sexual predator Bob Jones, whom Bentley lauds and endorses. Jones preyed upon women sexually in lewd acts as a ‘prophet’. Why would anyone serving Jesus endorse the ministry of a sexually immoral preacher who misused Christian ministry to perpetrate his perversions and who according to The New Testament has no biblical right to be in ministry as he is not above reproach?
These are the deranged antics of Lakeland we are speaking of and these are the kinds of people we are talking about; an assortment of perverts, swindlers, drunks, homosexuals, demonstrable false prophets, and even a tattooed criminally convicted pedophile child molester turned adulterer filing separation procedures against his wife. Soaking is simply spending time in God’s Presence, rather than striving in prayer. It’s about resting in His Presence, experiencing Him and choosing to be intimate with Him. God desires that we would know Him. We were each created in His image, created with a need for relationship. God made it possible for each of us to have relationship with Him by sending His son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. While we base our theology on the Bible, our experiences with God make the truth come alive in our lives. When we soak we focus on Him. Soaking puts us in a position where we are often more able to hear His voice and receive His love. It is also an opportunity for us to pour out our hearts to Him It’s about living in and enjoying an on-going relationship with our Creator. As people have soaked in God’s Presence, they have experienced profound heart changes. Their marriages have been healed, their fears dispelled, and sicknesses have left and lives have been transformed.

I am not a novice when it comes to Christianity or Pentecostalism and have seen all kinds of things including meetings at Melodyland Christian Center, Anaheim, California, Second World Conference on the Holy Spirit in Israel, Revival with Rodney Howard Browne at Karl Strader’s Carpenter’s Home Church Lakeland, Florida, Todd Bentley meetings at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, Toronto, Florida, etc.
Yes I have seen it all at the meetings but after it was all said and done there were not many significant changes in the lives of the people who went to these meetings. Rather I saw and met people who became very weird and off the wall and whose theology was extremely faulty. I met in these meetings pastors who ran around the church backwards carry communion elements, had suffered from bipolar disorder for years, were never healed and whose churches literally died.
I didn’t see in these meetings what transpired at Philip’s meetings where Philip preached Christ and the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. And I didn’t read in magazines any great testimonies by ordinary people as a result of these meetings of what God did for them. Even some instances where women have been abused, young girls molested but the leader is still the untouchable anointed one and keep getting invited in those talk shows where everyone wants to be, equivalent to Leno or Oprah, I don’t know. There is a lack of basic human emotions. You never hear “sorry I was wrong”, “sorry about that”, “Oh I made a mistake” It’s just all very artificial and cold and fake. Even the people in the world have more feelings and love and authenticity, sad to say. The LORD JESUS HIMSELF has asked me to QUESTION everything I hear esp. from books and so-called preachers and apostles. We spend time talking for hours and I ask Him one question after the next. Even things that the average Christian would find offensive, but HEY…God is not offended. And HE ALWAYS ANSWERS and makes sure I understand. And the answer is not what you hear in most churches. I feel bad for people who think they know the truth but truly are very empty inside. Jesus died so we could have a PERSONAL relationship with HIM, not emulate and idolize a leader. Yes we can encourage but sadly today, the line between real wholesome encouragement and idol worship has become blurred.

We therefore need to urgently test this latest “move of God”, its leaders and its spirituality, with discernment and against scripture.

In 2009 after the revival failed and Todd Bentley divorced his wife, Rick Joyner led the restoration team which included leaders who had vouched for Bentley‘s good character in the past even as he was deceiving us all, and has posted a letter on his web page. We are informed that ‗Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can.
Their being married far from making it right has in my view made matters even worse and totally disqualified Todd Bentley from any reinstatement in ministry in the foreseeable future. It means there is no repentance. He has simply gone into outright rebellion by marrying his mistress. Even if his wife had chosen to divorce him, which does not seem to be the case, a more judicious, moral and righteous course of action would have been to break off this adulterous relationship and stay celibate before God Instead, he remarries quickly. And we are put before the fait accompli. Is there a recent translation of the New Testament that decrees that the solution to adultery is to quickly divorce the offended party and marry the mistress? The fact is the bible never talks about ―jerking‖ being an attribute of the Holy Spirit but rather it states but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control THE KEY WORD HERE IS SELF-CONTROL AND WHEN YOU ARE POSSESSED BY A DEMONIC KUNDALINI SPIRIT THERE IS NO CONTROL AND THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG AND AGAINST SCRIPTURE
And it’s a fact that all the prophecies and prayers seen in the Todd Bentley Apostolic and Prophetic commissioning were false, useless and dead! It would have been very useful instead of just making a general statement “We believe another strong wave of Revival will descend upon us very soon. We have had several encouraging Prophetic Words recently, that God is about to move again very powerfully” that we were told who these prophets were and what was their proven track record so we could do what the scripture tells us to do in 1 Corinthians 14 “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge” instead of taking the word of fools who supported and mentored Todd Bentley!
Bud Press of Christian Research tells us the truth about them:
The Prophetic Movement is a dark, evil wasteland teeming with false apostles, false prophets, hyper-heretics, false healers, and greedy, money-hungry con men and women, all of whom are overshadowed by Satan and his demonic forces.
From the Prophetic Movement came doctrines of demons such as: man is a “god” or “God;” Jesus took on Satan’s nature, sinned, and had to be born again in hell; God is subject to man’s desires and wishes; visits to heaven and hell; fabricated and lying signs and wonders; extra-Biblical dreams, visions, and revelations; man-infested manifestations; prosperity poverty; and one-on-one encounters with angels, Old Testament prophets, New Testament apostles, and “Jesus Christ”.
In 1939 Smith Wigglesworth prophesied to Lester Sumrall about the final wave of Gods glory: “After that, after the third wave,” he started sobbing. “I see the last day revival that’s going to usher in the precious fruit of the earth. It will be the greatest revival this world has ever seen! It’s going to be a wave of the gifts of the Spirit. The ministry gifts will be flowing on this planet earth. I see hospitals being emptied out, and they will bring the sick to churches where they allow the Holy Ghost to move.”

While I was pastoring a church early in my ministry, my daughter Libby asked me, “Dad, are we famous?” To which I replied, “No, Libby, we’re not famous.” She thought for a moment and then said rather indignantly, “Well, we would be if more people knew about us!”
Poor Libby! Only 7 years old and already struggling with what many of us struggle with throughout life: Who recognizes us, and are we getting the recognition we think we deserve?
Our desire for recognition wouldn’t be such a problem if it didn’t tend to replace Jesus as the focus of our attention. But being absorbed with ourselves crowds Him out of the picture.
Life cannot be all about us and all about Jesus at the same time. This makes Paul’s statement that he counted “everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ” (Phil. 3:8 ESV) strategically important. Faced with a choice between himself and Jesus, Paul intentionally discarded the things that would draw attention to himself so he could concentrate on knowing and experiencing Jesus (vv.7-8,10).
For us, the decision is the same. Will we live to draw attention to ourselves? Or will we focus on the privilege of knowing and experiencing Jesus more intimately?
Lord, thank You for reminding me of the value of knowing You more intimately. Help me to keep myself out of the way as I pursue a deeper walk with You.
Do our choices bring honor to God or to us?
BE GREAT IN THE MIDST OF CRITICISM …
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. – (Matthew 5:44, NKJV)
If you’re going to pursue greatness, if you’re going to be a great businessperson, a great teacher, a great parent, a great leader, you have to understand that not everyone is going to cheer you on. I’d love to tell you that your family, friends and co-workers will celebrate you, but that’s not necessarily the case. Some people simply can’t handle your success. As you grow and increase, as God pours out His favor on you, someone will get jealous. Someone will start finding fault. Don’t be surprised if a relative tries to belittle or discredit you. You can’t focus on making everyone around you happy or you’ll start changing and lose sight of what God has placed in your heart.
Remember, your destiny is too great to be distracted by people who are never going to affirm you. Don’t take it personally. It’s not about you. It’s their problem. Shake it off, run your race, and be great anyway.
Having greatness in the midst of criticism begins with forgiveness. Don’t hold a grudge. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. As you keep doing what is right, God will honor you. He’ll promote you, and you’ll be great in the midst of criticism!
STRIKE IT RICH :

One of the problems that hung around me for years was poverty. But I remember the day I decided I wasn’t going to be poor anymore. I was reading in the Word where it says that the blessing of Abraham has come upon the Gentiles by Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:14). Then I got down to the twenty-ninth verse where it says, “If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE.” Suddenly the truth hit me. I got so excited I could hardly stand myself.
I turned back over to Deuteronomy 28 and–line by line–I read those promised blessings. “Blessed in the city, blessed in the country. Blessed going out, blessed coming in. Blessed in your barns, blessed in your fields, blessed in all the works of your hands.” Man, I had struck it rich!
I’d been going to school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I was living in a dumpy little house nobody would want to live in. But when I read those promises in the Word, I saw the light. I realized God already had redeemed me from the curse of poverty.
Well, that afternoon in my back bedroom, I took my Bible in my hand and I said: “I want to announce to Almighty God in heaven and to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to all the angels of heaven, to all the demons of hell, and to anybody else that cares anything about hearing it, that from this day forward my needs are met according to God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
I told Him, “I’m standing on Your Word, and I’m looking to You to take care of me. I’ll never ask a man for a dollar.”
That was many years ago and I never have. You know why? Because that decision connected me to the power of God. It’ll do the same for you.
What Todd Bentley & Mark Driscoll Have in Common
The recent Mark Driscoll scandal has caused me to see a connection to the Todd Bentley scandal several years ago.
The sins of Bentley – who was a Charismatic celebrity – were sexual immorality and drunkenness.
The sins of Driscoll – who was a Neo-Calvinist/Reformed celebrity – were emotional abuse, dishonesty, emotional abuse, and verbal assault.
Both Driscoll and Bentley were popular figures in the Christian world.
Both stepped down from ministry.
Both lost thousands of fans.
But both were promoted by respected leaders who have very large platforms.
I want to make two big points in this piece.
1. Sexual immorality and verbal/emotional abuse are equally serious sins in the New Testament. Yet evangelicals by and large have made sexual immorality the big sin, while giving a pass on swearing at people up one side down the other and emotionally abusing them with hurtful words and fits of anger. Paul puts these sins on the same level in Galatians and 1 Corinthians. Sexual immorality is not more serious than verbal abuse.
2. The people who promoted Bentley and made him a star later got off the Bentley ship (excepting Rick Joyner). But to my knowledge, none of them made any public confession that they were part of the problem. They should have asked forgiveness. They should have owned the fact that they gave Bentley a stage. They erred in judgment for promoting Bentley in the first place, exposing him to the Church. This was wrong and they should have come clean with it.
This pattern is repeating itself. The people who promoted Driscoll and made him a star are getting off the Driscoll wagon, but I’ve not seen any admissions or repentance for promoting him in the first place. They knew of his temper problems, his profanity, his harshness in dealing with people, and looked the other way. Why aren’t we seeing confessions by John Piper, Matt Chandler, Rick Warren, and the other people who gave Driscoll a platform? This was a major error in judgment and they were part of the problem.
It’s not too late for those who offered Bentley and Driscoll platforms to make public admissions and ask forgiveness.
I’ve seen some people denounce Driscoll because he believes homosexuality is a sin and that women shouldn’t be part of the workforce. Many leaders in the evangelical world have held these views for centuries, including Anabaptists. Those aren’t wrong even though some may disagree with those positions. Driscoll’s sins are verbal assault, emotional abuse, using profanity against others in fits of rage, and slander. He’s also known to misrepresent the views of other authors without doing due diligence.
Those are the sins that should be focused on in the Driscoll case, not his belief system.
Something is wrong with Christianity when Charismatics and Calvinists who have huge platforms offer them to the wrong people and ignore other people who are gifted, have an important message for our time, and who possess character.

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Gentleness. Goodness. Faith. Meekness. Temperance. Powerful forces the Bible calls the fruit of the Spirit. They’re the character traits of God Himself and when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in you, He brought them with Him, so they could become your character traits too.
They’re designed to bubble up inside you, to gush forth like a powerful stream constantly protecting and cleansing you from the inside out.
Have you ever noticed that you can’t put any trash in the mouth of a flowing fountain? When it’s shooting that water up, the force of its own outflow protects it and keeps it clear of any impurities from the outside. Well, the spiritual fountain within you works the same way. When you’re allowing the forces of love and joy and peace and gentleness and all the others to flow out, the devil can’t get any of his junk in.
How do you keep the Spirit flowing? You pump your heart so full of the Word of God that the forces of eternal life start bubbling out. Just a little at first…and then stronger and higher.
Choose to keep those forces streaming out of the fountain of your heart. Refuse to let selfishness and sin stop the flow. You have a fountain filled with unbeatable LIFE forces inside you and it’s ready to come forth. Let it flow!
A SHARED BOND
You are all one in Christ Jesus. —Galatians 3:28
When I needed a locksmith to get into my car, I had a pleasant surprise. After he arrived and began opening my little Ford’s door, we began chatting and I recognized his warm, familiar accent.
It turned out that my rescuer was originally from Jamaica—a land I’ve visited often and have grown to love. This changed a negative event into a positive one. We were in a small way kindred spirits because of our shared love for that beautiful island nation.
This struck me as a reminder of an even greater camaraderie—the joy of meeting someone new and discovering that he or she is also a believer in Christ.
In some places, this is not unusual because there are many believers. But in those lands where there are few believers, the joy of meeting someone else who loves Jesus must be even greater. It’s thrilling to share together the amazing reality of the freedom from sin we have through Christ!
For all who know Jesus, there is a shared bond, a oneness in Christ (Gal. 3:28), a joy of fellowship that can brighten even the darkest day. Praise God that He brings a bond of unity to all who know Him as Savior.
What a miracle it is, dear Lord, that You can bring together people of all tribes, tongues, and nations to be like-minded in Christ—to share a bond of love and affection for Jesus.
Christian fellowship builds us up and binds us together.
TEMPTATION (2)
‘Each one is tempted.’ James 1:14 NKJV
Ignorance of Scripture is one of the greatest weapons Satan has against you. Three times he tempted Jesus, and he used Scripture to do it! But he didn’t prevail because Jesus knew what God’s Word says – and doesn’t say. We’re vulnerable to Satan’s attacks when we know only snippets of Scripture and favourite passages instead of ‘…the whole counsel of God.’ (Acts 20:27 NKJV) Paul writes, ‘All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.’ (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV) We get into trouble when we wrench a Scripture out of context, and make it a pretext for claiming something God never promised. Or if He did, we fail to read the fine print that spells out His terms and conditions. Paul commended the Thessalonians: ‘…when you received the Word of God…from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.’ (1 Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV) Notice the order here: God’s Word must first work in you before it works for you! We like to quote such Scriptures as ‘…whatever he does shall prosper,’ (Psalm 1:3 NKJV) but you must take into account the preceding verses: ‘Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.’ (Psalm 1:1-2 NKJV) If you want God’s blessing, you must meet His conditions.

This Todd Bentley is certainly blind to the truth of what he is involved in with Fresh Fire USA. As you know, I have had to cast the demons out of more people than I can count who received evil spirits/demons with the same bad health results that Todd is experiencing. This is happening because one of the major results that these people who go to Fresh Fire, Toronto Fellowship or Toronto Blessing, no matter what they call their meetings they end up with bad health, just as Todd has been suffering from. Their meetings are not according to what Paul tells us about in 1 Cor. 14: 26f. The lack of self-control is the main and easily symptom of the work of demons/evil spirits. All of their so called worship is out of control with the result that they are a modern day example of what Paul describes when he wrote, “holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people” (1 Tim. 3: 5).
Those meeting have caused many people to become sick rather than finding healing. Their reports tell us of false prophecies, of gold teeth which when examined by dentists are just discoloured yellow caused by sulphur in the air, gold dust that disappears, and cheap imitation so-called jewels which are poor imitations but are copies of the them similar to what I bought in a children’s store. The jeweller told them that they were “valueless” which they mistook for being “invaluable”. In other words, they were “of no value or use; worthless”. The medical examinations of people who thought they had been healed were disappointing because, like Todd thought, participation in such meetings would result in healing and good health as we see happening in our meetings. He has been deluded in these meetings and misled by false prophecies, false everything. We have had to set more people free from these false blessing possessions. Please pass this on to Todd.
We can help him restore his health through the Scriptural directions for health and healings. In all of his so-called meetings, he has grieved (Eph. 4: 30), quenched (1 Thess. 5: 19), outraged the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Grace (Heb. 10: 29)and blasphemed (Mk. 3: 28 – 30). He has lived and publicly displayed the “works of the flesh” (Gal. 5: 19 – 21). He turned worship into a self-centered X-rated entertainment (1 Cor. 14: 26f.). He has danced with the devil/Satan as if he, the devil, was God. The result is that he has been living under the wrath of God (Rom. 1:18, 2: 8) mistaking it for the blessing of God. He has gone beyond what is written (1 Cor. 4: 6) and has gone beyond what is written and has become “puffed up in favour of one against another. He has become what Jesus said to the Sadducees, “You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29).

Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. I see Your holy face in every sunrise; Your smile breaks through the cloud with radiant sunshine that brightens up the world and light up my life. May God clothe me with the garments of salvation and adore me with heavenly jewelries and bless me every success in all areas of my life! Loving God, fill me with Your Spirit and make my way straight so I can easily achieve all good things and bring glory to You. Why do you not see that this is DEMONIC THIRD WAVE CHURCH? Joshua Mills along with so many others in the Charismatic Church are being used to deceive millions. He claimed to have eaten gold leaves from the tree of life, he claimed that God sent oil from Heaven by way of his feet, and he stood on cloths and sold them for a donation (but it’s only free if you send him a generous contribution first), his wife claims their son was born covered in gold dust…and, remember the time that he said his water turned to wine? He was in his hotel room when it happened, of course. Now Mills is claiming that in a meeting in Auckland, New Zealand, during a super-uber anointed service, a lady saw Jesus standing above the congregation. He claims the lady saw Jesus with tears streaming down His face and His arms stretched out wide. He then says a drop of blood fell from Jesus’s forehead, and it fell into the congregation. He says he didn’t know this “vision” was going on – he didn’t find that out until later – but as coincidence would have it, he all of a sudden felt a drop of a warm liquid in his hand. Looking down, he saw a drop of blood from Jesus Christ Himself!
Gordon told about this specific lady went to a Toronto airport meeting recently and had so called gold dust stuck all over her body and it would not come off. Gordon made her repent for going there and prayed for her deliverance and it left!
Gordon said a dentist examined the so called gold teeth on 34 people including John Arnott and it turned out they were not gold on them but sulfur which is a chemical reaction on the teeth. The so called Jewels and stones that appear in the meetings are also a joke as they have no monetary value!
And he pointed out that 1 Corinthians 4 says all of these signs and wonders are wrong as they are not in the New Testament beyond what is written
1 Corinthians 4: 6 now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.
Gordon also said all TV evangelists and ministries today are off the wall because they are all about money and money is the root of all evil and especially the food salesman Jim Bakker, adulterous Peter Youngren, the deceiving Benny Hinn.
GORDON ALSO POINTED OUT THAT ALL THESE TV EVANGELISTS ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES OR THEIR HAND PICKED BOARD. He said people were to stay away from Third Wave events and stop trusting any TV evangelist or preacher!

David Yonggi Cho of Yoido full gospel church, the world largest Pentecostal church, has some serious problems. Yonggi has been indicted on charges of breach of trust by prosecutors. The indictment involves millions in misappropriated church money and additional charges of tax evasion.
Yonggi, 77, senior pastor at the church is suspected of breach of trust resulting in 10 billion won (us$9.2 million) in losses to his church. Also he is being investigated on suspicion of 6 billion won (us$5.52 million) in tax evasion.
Cho’s son, hee-jun, 48,the secretary general for the church, has already been taken into custody over the matter, which has shaken the religious community.
The bottom line is Third Wave preachers and fools and deceivers still get sick. They still die of cancer unhealed. Their marriages fall apart. They struggle with alcohol. They commit adultery. They are devoid of real honesty, integrity, truth and accountability. They run away from constructive biblical criticism, judgment and rebuke and throw false words around like “Judge Not!” Touch not my anointed” and “You are off the devil.” Their arrogance and snobbery stinks to high heaven! Their so called miracles and healing are not substantiated or documented in the news media! They would like to have us believe that Jesus said: “When I go away i will send the Holy Spirit who will cause you to twitch, shake, quake and behave like animals?”
They love to talk about “soaking” but there are negative sides to soaking that nobody talks about and the fact that many are simply losing their minds and are being put on psychotropic drugs because they are “bi-polar” or “schizophrenic” which completes the job of the devil totally stealing their minds. There are millions now ensnared by the powers of the Devil while many brainless pastors stand over them fanning them with their new gospel MANTRA of shouting, “more lord, more lord,” which shows people jerking, twitching, acting like animals; barking like dogs; mooing like cows; howling like hyenas’; clucking like chickens; laughing uncontrollably and even having imaginative sexual experiences on the carpets of churches. This insane, feel good gospel may be filling their churches sinful people but it is also filling it with hardcore devils and pay day is just around the corner – EMPTY CHURCHES and God’s judgment!
And then we have the “Carpet Time”! During the so called Revival conducted by Rodney Howard Browne, in 1993-94, in the now nonexistent defunct Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland Florida, many people spent “Carpet Time” on the floor. And what good did it produce them or anybody including Dan Strader who was robbing and raping the sheep with the help of his father Senior Pastor Karl Strader during the revival? None!
Few had heard of Rodney Howard-Browne before he led a series of revival meetings in Lakeland, Florida in 1993. A lot has happened since then; some of it is commendable, and some of it is reprehensible. In theory Browne came to America from South Africa to “revive” a largely sleeping church. He quickly got labeled as a Holy Ghost “bartender” because of the manifestations of “holy laughter” dominating his ministry. In his meetings he taught that no only it was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep but only God was to judge pastors, not the (dumb) sheep! He also taught that thieves were to be blessed and rewarded, not judged for this is what Jesus would want them to do! He also taught that it was more important to give than to receive and spend a lot of time receiving offerings that he spent on himself and family members. Rodney learned about nepotism from his good friend Senior Pastor Karl Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church, Lakeland, Florida, for the bible stated:
1TM 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
South African Pentecostal Evangelist Rodney Howard-Browne, a white supremacist in theology, who immigrated with all his brothers and parents to United States became a naturalized American and taught that “sheep needed to be fleeced or they would have too much hair and could not see where they are going.. It was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep had been credited with bringing the laughter revival to America. But from what really happened in Carpenter’s Home Church in 1993 and 1994 and its devastating effect on the community including the robbing, raping and murdering of the sheep, was not much of a revival.
Roy Aldrich, a retired school teacher, was robbed of $100,000.00 by Pastor Karl Strader and his son Dan Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church Lakeland, Florida. Rodney, who was a personal friend of Karl Strader who practiced nepotism, and bought him a Lincoln town car, was asked to help the elderly victims who were robbed by the Straders and he refused. But when German Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s decided to relocate his ministry to Florida, Rodney Howard-Browne decided he would give Bonnke a house. At first he offered Bonnke his own house in Tampa, but Bonnke had to locate in Orlando to be closer to his operational base. It was then that Howard-Browne decided to build Bonnke a new $250,000 home in Orlando. Rodney then drove a brand new car to Bonnke’s driveway.
How gracious and wonderful of Rodney to be a respecter of persons to the high and mighty and to ignore the real plight of the poor and needy?
Many Third Wave Pentecostals whose prophecies are false and are really ignorant of Scriptures like to spend “Carpet Time” and compete with each other as if it were some kind of a competition to see who is more spiritual than the other. None of them is “spiritual” in terms of the Holy Spirit but, being harassed and possessed with demons, they are satisfied with a so-called counterfeit “form of religion denying the power of it” (2 Tim. 3: 5). The rest of the verse says, “Avoid such people.” The Greek word means to “turn one’s self away”. And, if they do not turn away, they have nobody to blame but themselves. What they don’t realize is that if you are soaking yourself in bad teaching, a person will drown themselves to the point that they will lose their salvation or never be able to know the full life of Salvation and the real Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Fortunately, we have seen many of such people come for help and receive the exciting new life in Jesus Christ empowered by the Baptism of Holy Spirit. The uncontrolled shaking epileptic-like symptoms disappear immediately after we cast the demons out and is replaced with Fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace,self-control, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Gal. 5: 22 – 23). Soaking results in “spiritual drowning”!
The Holy Spirit is a person of Integrity and Rodney Howard Browne, Richard Roberts and Karl Strader are not only wolves in sheep’s Clothing but devoid of integrity. Rodney is known for teaching that the pastors must fleece and sheep and Richard was forced to resign as President of ORU for embezzlement of money. Rodney arrived in America penniless and became a multi millionaire without doing an honest day’s work. Yes the so called Third Wave leaders who are also supposed to be Apostles, Prophets and men of God not only have no integrity but are liars, thieves, manipulators and scoundrels. Their leaders suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and to others in the process and they include scoundrels Rodney Howard Browne, Richard Roberts, Stephen Strader, Todd Bentley, Bill Johnson, Benny Hinn and Patricia King. And let’s not forget Rick Joyner, Stacey Campbell, Dutch Sheets, and Peter C. Wagner).

The big mistake that is being made is that these people are not “Charismatic Christians” but rather they are “false Charismatic Evangelical Christians”. It is a dis-service to the Holy Spirit to call them “Charismatic” because they have counterfeit/false gifts which do not come from the Holy Spirit: false prophecy, false tongues, false everything (Matt. 24: 24; Mk. 13: 22). Their false works tell us clearly that they “have received the mark of the beast” (Rev. 19: 20). They are not of the fellowship of Jesus Christ as you can see them standing together with the pope. I guess the best thing we can say about them is that they are today’s Scribes and Pharisees of whom, as Jesus said, “You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29).
Jesus publically rebuked Pharisees and even called them names. (Go reread the gospels).
Many mistakenly believe that it is wrong to expose error and to name the guilty teachers; but they are wrong according to the Bible. They warned by letter and by Mouth those to shun and to avoid.

On the 21 st of January this year (2014) during his organisation’s annual “Minister’s Conference”, Kenneth Copeland, his “ministry”, and attendees received a personal video message from Pope Francis. Kenneth Copeland Ministries’ YouTube channel says, concerning the message, that everyone was “greatly inspired”[1] by it.
What was everyone inspired about? That Pope Francis called the protestant reformation the sin of disunity[2] and that he is looking forward to protestant’s repenting and coming back into the fold? Pope Francis didn’t make that statement in exactly those words, but this is what it boils down to, what it always boils down to with the Roman Catholic Church.
The Roman Catholic Church has always believed, and still believes, that it is the doorway to God and heaven, that the Pope is the Head of the Church, and that the Pope is the Vicar of Christ (rather than the Holy Spirit). Has the Roman Catholic Church repented of its doctrine of transubstantiation (i.e. bread and wine turning into the body and blood of Christ during the Mass)? No. Has the Roman Catholic Church repented of its heretical doctrine of purgatory (atoning in purgatory for your own sins, rather than Christ alone atoning for your sins)? No. … and then there is a host of other heretical, if not blasphemous teachings for which the Roman Catholic Church and their Pontiffs are responsible and of which they have never repented.
What did the reformers die for? Nothing according to the Pope, and apparently Kenneth Copeland agrees with him. The reformers said, “NO!” to the Popes of their day, “NO!” to the Roman Catholic Church, and “YES!” to God and His Word. The Reformation came about through the reading of the Bible (as opposed to it being hidden by being read in Latin when the common folk did not understand it). The Roman Catholic Church has always tried to hide, shroud and conceal the Word of God – Kenneth Copeland has merely joined their ranks.
Kenneth Copeland has gone from being a popular False Prophet, to being profitable for the counter-reformation movement of Rome. All this does is to further confirm that Kenneth Copeland is not only a false prophet, but a wolf in sheep’s clothing. A true prophet hears from and speaks the Word of God, which does not contradict Scripture. Where is spirit-led-Copeland headed? To the city on seven hills, to Rome, to the Vatican, to Spiritual Babylon.
And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality, and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery, “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.” And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. Peter, in his first epistle (1 Peter 5:13), euphemistically called Rome (where he was at the time) Babylon. Peter knew it, the first-century Christians knew it, the reformers knew it, but the Profit Copeland doesn’t, or he doesn’t care.

God appears to have relieved Tony Palmer of his command

Just months after Anglican priest and personal friend to Pope Francis Tony Palmer gave a rousing performance urging Christians to place themselves under the authority of the Roman Catholic system, he appears to have died suddenly in a motorcycle accident.
Tony Palmer had said that he was a “prophet in the spirit of Elijah”, and that his mission was to unite the Christian evangelical church with the Roman Catholic system. He declared “Martin Luther’s protest to be over”, and said that it was time for “Christians to come home to Rome”. Tony’s deluded vision of seeing Christians “coming home to Rome” will also die with him.
“Tony Palmer, the charismatic young preacher who enjoyed a friendship with Pope Francis, has apparently died in a motorcycle accident,” Kathy Schiffer reported on her Seasons of Grace blog. “Not a Catholic, Palmer was bishop in the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches, a group that broke away from the Anglican Church and considered itself part of the Convergence Movement.”

Why Did Copeland, Robison Meet With Pope Francis?

Two prominent Fort Worth-based Christian ministers led a delegation of Evangelical Christian leaders to Rome to meet privately with Pope Francis.
James and Betty Robison, co-hosts of the Life Today television program, and Kenneth Copeland, co-host of Believer’s Voice of Victory, met the Roman Pontiff at the Vatican on Tuesday. The meeting lasted almost three hours and included a private luncheon with Pope Francis.
Mr. Robison told the Fort Worth Star Telegram, “This meeting was a miracle…. This is something God has done. God wants his arms around the world. And he wants Christians to put his arms around the world by working together.”
Mr. Robison said he was impressed by Pope Francis’ humility and courtesy to the visiting delegation of Evangelical Protestant Christian leaders.
In a written statement, Mr. Robison said he believes “the prayers of earnest Christians helped lead to the choice of Pope Francis.” He described Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the Argentine Archbishop chosen as Pope, as “a humble man…filled with such love for the poor, downtrodden…”
In addition to Mrs. Betty Robison, the high-profile Protestant delegation included Kenneth Copeland, co-founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Newark, TX; Reverend Geoff Tunnicliff, CEO of the World Evangelical Alliance; Rev. Brian Stiller and Rev. Thomas Schirrmacher, also from the World Evangelical Alliance; and Rev. John Arnott and his wife, Carol, co-founders of Partners for Harvest ministries in Toronto, Canada. Gloria Copeland did not travel to Rome because of a previously scheduled commitment.
The ecumenical meeting in Rome was organized by Episcopal Bishop Tony Palmer. Rev. Palmer is an ordained bishop in the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches, a break-away alliance of charismatic Anglican-Episcopal churches. Bishop Palmer is also the Director of The Ark Community, an international interdenominational Convergent Church online community, and is a member of the Roman Catholic Ecumenical Delegation for Christian Unity and Reconciliation.
Bishop Palmer developed a friendship with Pope Francis when the future Roman Pontiff was a Catholic official in Argentina. Prior to becoming a CEEC bishop, Rev. Palmer was the director of the Kenneth Copeland Ministries’ office in South Africa. He is married to an Italian Roman Catholic woman. He later moved to Italy and began working to reconcile Roman Catholics and Protestants. Kenneth Copeland Ministries was one of Mr. Palmer’s first financial contributors over 10 years ago in support of his ecumenical work in Italy.
Earlier this year, Pope Francis called Bishop Palmer to invite him to his residence in Vatican City. During the meeting, Bishop Palmer suggested that the Pope record a personal greeting on Mr. Palmer’s iPhone to be delivered to Kenneth Copeland. Mr. Copeland showed the Papal video greeting to a conference of Protestant ministers who were meeting at Mr. Copeland’s Eagle Mountain International Church near Fort Worth, Texas. In the video, Pope Francis expressed his desire for Christian unity with Protestants.
Later, James Robison telecasted the video on his daily TV program, Life Today. “The pope, in the video, expressed a desire for Protestants and Catholics to become what Jesus prayed for — that Christians would become family and not be divided,” Mr. Robison said the response to the video was very positive, and that Pope Francis asked Bishop Palmer whether a meeting could be arranged with Evangelical Protestants seeking Christian unity in the world.
In his written statement released after the Papal meeting, Mr. Robison said he was “blessed to be part of perhaps an unprecedented moment between evangelicals and the Catholic Pope.” He described the Protestant delegation’s private meeting with the leader of the Roman Catholic Church as “an intimate circle of prayerful discussion and lunch to discuss not only seeing Jesus’ prayer answered, but that every believer would become a bold, joy-filled witnesses for Christ.
In describing the ecumenical gathering as a miracle, Mr. Robison said, “This is something God has done. God wants his arms around the world. And he wants Christians to put his arms around the world by working together.”
During the luncheon on Tuesday, Mr. Robison got a high-five from Pope Francis after the Pope and Protestant guests talked about the need for all people to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. According to the Life Today host, the Roman Pontiff did not know what a high-five was until Bishop Palmer explained it to him in Italian. Mr. Robison said, “The Pope made it very clear that he wanted every believer to become Spirit-filled, joy-filled witnesses.”
Mr. Robison said Pope Francis had written recently, “Too many Catholics look like they’ve been to Lent with no Easter. It’s a mistake for them to look like they’ve been to a funeral” as he challenged Catholics to witness and never try to control the Holy Spirit, but yield to Him.
Mr. Robison said he received a divine call from God to seek Christian unity while he was hospitalized several years ago with a serious staph infection following hip surgery. Robison recalled, “[I] was so weak I could not lift a cup of water to my lips…God got my full attention…He spoke to me through Isaiah 58:6-12 and I saw the importance of living in freedom, touching the suffering, the hungry, poor, and downtrodden. I recognized the promise that our prayers would be answered quickly and we would become a free-flowing stream and a well-watered garden, restoring the foundations upon which we must build. During that time God instructed me to focus my attention on Jesus’ prayer and encouraging others to begin fulfilling it through us in our day.”
During that time, he said, he was impressed by a prayer of Jesus in John 17:21, pleading that all Christian believers be one. “We’ve tried to focus on being an answer to Jesus’ prayer,” Robison said. “We want to see Jesus’ prayer for unity answered in our day.”
Aware that the meeting with the Pope will be troublesome among staunch Protestants, Mr. Robison said he and the other visiting Evangelical Christian leaders talked about diversity and their belief that Roman Catholics and Protestants could work together without compromising their beliefs.
“The world is suffering,” said Robison. “We as Christians have too much love to share without fighting one another.”
Mr. Robison said he and other “respected Evangelical leaders and Spirit-filled Catholics began meeting together to pray for God’s will to be done and to bring true believers together in supernatural unity….We have been commanded to love God with all of our heart and our neighbors as ourselves. The enemy has kept many Christians from loving one another as Christ loves us and have failed to recognize the importance of supernatural unity even with all of the unique diversity.”
Mr. Robison, whose ministry digs water wells and supplies food for impoverished people in third-world nations, recounted that he was christened as a fatherless boy in an Episcopal Church. As an adult, he joined the Southern Baptist Church. In the 1980s, he became one of the first prominent Southern Baptist ministers to openly proclaim he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

What does it take to produce the first-ever papal high-five? A meeting with American televangelists, apparently.
The gesture came during a three-hour meeting of Pope Francis and Texas televangelists Kenneth Copeland and James Robison, just weeks after the pontiff met with televangelist Joel Osteen and other religious leaders. At the June 24 meeting, Robison said he was so moved by Pope Francis’ message of the gospel that he asked the translator to ask Francis for a high-five. The pope obliged, raised his arm and the two men smacked hands.
The televangelists are among some wealthier U.S. evangelicals who have recently met with Francis, who has called for a focus on the poor and a simple lifestyle for clergy. In March, the pope met with members of the Green family, the Oklahoma billionaires whose company, Hobby Lobby, won their challenge to President Obama’s contraception coverage mandate at the Supreme Court last week.
Robison said he was born into the Episcopal Church but didn’t have a “born-again” conversion until later in life, the kind of story he sees among many Protestants and Catholics. “There are a lot of evangelicals and Catholics who don’t know Christ,” he said.
In fact, Francis’ meeting may reflect a shift in emphasis within the papacy. His predecessor, Benedict XVI, regularly bemoaned the decline of Christianity in his native Germany and across Europe. In contrast, the Argentine Francis comes from a region where competition from Pentecostalism is one of the biggest challenges facing the Catholic Church, Peppard said.
As unusual as it might seem for a pope meet with celebrity Protestant preachers, the potential awkwardness goes both ways. While some praised Robison for going to Rome, others said Protestants and Catholics have too many differences, on issues that include the role of the Bible, saints, the status of the Virgin Mary and the nature of salvation. “Very disappointed in you James and Betty. Never forget the Inquisition — Never forget!” one commenter wrote on Robison’s website.
But Robison said he and Francis found common ground in caring for the poor.
“I don’t see him as presenting himself as infallible,” Robison said of Pope Francis. “He’s been to confession. He asks for prayer. He’s anxious to apologize on (behalf) of Catholic leadership.”
Osteen’s meeting with Francis on June 4 was part of a larger gathering coordinated by the International Foundation, also known as “the Fellowship.” Osteen was joined by Utah Sen. Mike Lee, a Mormon; California pastor Tim Timmons; and Gayle D. Beebe, president of evangelical Westmont College.
The June 24 meeting leaned particularly toward charismatic Christianity. Other guests were Anthony Palmer, a bishop and international ecumenical officer with the independent Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches; Geoff Tunnicliffe, the outgoing head of the Worldwide Evangelical Alliance; and John and Carol Arnott of Catch the Fire Toronto, which grew out of a Pentecostal revival 20 years ago.
The pope met with more than 50,000 Catholic charismatics in Rome last month, admitting he was not always comfortable with the way they prayed. Still, he knelt on stage as they prayed for him and spoke in tongues. “Where does division come from? The devil!” Francis told them. “Division comes from the devil. Flee from internal struggles, please!”
Pentecostal and charismatic Christians – charismatics are often Pentecostals in other churches, including the Catholic Church — share much in common, such as speaking in tongues and healing. Together, they make up at least 584 million people in the world, about 9 percent of the global population and one in four Christians worldwide, according to the Pew Research Center.
And that’s probably partly why Francis extended the invitation to the U.S. pastors. The Rev. Wesley Granberg-Michaelson, a veteran of Catholic-Protestant ecumenical groups and the author of “From Times Square to Timbuktu: The Post-Christian West Meets the Non-Western Church,” said Pentecostalism is growing in the Global South at three times the rate of Catholic growth, especially among the poor.
“My guess is that Francis knows this community can’t be ignored,” Granberg-Michaelson said. “Certainly, Francis would want to encourage Catholic charismatics to feel at home, as well as build ecumenical relationships with the Pentecostal community — and those reinforce one another. That’s also why what he is doing is both ecumenically creative, and makes sense.”
A flawed “theology of suffering.
CATHOLICS ARE NOT TRUE CHRISTIANS AS THEY TEACH LIES. ” In Mother Teresa’s words: “The most beautiful gift for a person is that he can participate in the sufferings of Christ.” Therefore, the Catholic who suffers the most is closest to Christ. When you remove suffering, you remove Christ. Instead of minimizing their suffering, Mother Teresa ensured it. Alleviating suffering, let alone eliminating it, was out of the question. Seen from this perspective, her behavior toward her patients makes sense.
Instead of curing them, Mother Teresa gave the bare minimum of treatment, resulting in suffering for most and death for some. She gave insufficient or outdated medicine, reused old syringes, and gave cold baths to all patients, even those who could find comfort in a warm one. She’d refuse to install elevators for the disabled, even when the city government offered to pay for it. Instead of hiring competent doctors, she’d rely on incompetent volunteers because she believed strongly that ignorance was more valuable than expertise (Livemore 93, 156).
Instead of being true hospitals or hospices, the establishments run by Mother Teresa were more like prisons at best: The patients, if they were well enough to escape, probably would. At worst, they were torture chambers. She’d refuse to give painkillers even to dying patients who were suffering unbearable pain. Instead of using painkillers, she’d comfort patients by saying, “You are suffering, that means Jesus is kissing you.” One poor patient replied, “Then tell your Jesus to stop kissing me.”
Holy Hypocrite
What makes all this worse is the fact that Mother Teresa had the resources to make things better. Estimates of donations reach the millions — even billions — of dollars. Unfortunately, we can never be sure. In the same way that Mother Teresa’s atrocities remain a secret, Missionaries of Charity remains the only charitable organization in India that refuses to reveal how much money they have and how they spend it:
