Why do you not see that this is DEMONIC THIRD WAVE CHURCH? Joshua Mills along with so many others in the Charismatic Church are being used to deceive millions. He claimed to have eaten gold leaves from the tree of life, he claimed that God sent oil from Heaven by way of his feet, and he stood on cloths and sold them for a donation (but it’s only free if you send him a generous contribution first), his wife claims their son was born covered in gold dust…and, remember the time that he said his water turned to wine? He was in his hotel room when it happened, of course. Now Mills is claiming that in a meeting in Auckland, New Zealand, during a super-uber anointed service, a lady saw Jesus standing above the congregation. He claims the lady saw Jesus with tears streaming down His face and His arms stretched out wide. He then says a drop of blood fell from Jesus’s forehead, and it fell into the congregation. He says he didn’t know this “vision” was going on – he didn’t find that out until later – but as coincidence would have it, he all of a sudden felt a drop of a warm liquid in his hand. Looking down, he saw a drop of blood from Jesus Christ Himself!

Gordon told about this specific lady went to a Toronto airport meeting recently  and had  so called gold dust stuck all over her body and it would not come off. Gordon made her repent for going there and prayed for her deliverance and it left!

Gordon said a dentist examined the so called gold teeth on 34 people including John Arnott and it turned out they were not gold on them but sulfur which is a chemical reaction on the teeth. The so called Jewels and stones that appear in the meetings are also a joke as they have no monetary value!

And he pointed out that 1 Corinthians 4 says all of these signs and wonders are wrong as they are not in the New Testament beyond what is written
1 Corinthians 4: 6 now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other.

Gordon also said all TV evangelists and ministries today are off the wall because they are all about money and money is the root of all evil and especially the food salesman Jim Bakker, adulterous Peter Youngren, the deceiving Benny Hinn.

GORDON ALSO POINTED OUT THAT ALL THESE TV EVANGELISTS ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES OR THEIR HAND PICKED BOARD. He said people were to stay away from Third Wave events and stop trusting any TV evangelist or preacher!

David Yonggi Cho of Yoido full gospel church, the world largest Pentecostal church, has some serious problems.  Yonggi has been indicted on charges of breach of trust by prosecutors.  The indictment involves millions in misappropriated church money and additional charges of tax evasion.

Yonggi, 77, senior pastor at the church is suspected of breach of trust resulting in 10 billion won (us$9.2 million) in losses to his church. Also he is being investigated on suspicion of 6 billion won (us$5.52 million) in tax evasion.

Cho’s son, hee-jun, 48,the secretary general for the church, has already been taken into custody over the matter, which has shaken the religious community.

The bottom line is Third Wave preachers and fools and deceivers still get sick. They still die of cancer unhealed. Their marriages fall apart. They struggle with alcohol. They commit adultery. They are devoid of real honesty, integrity, truth and accountability. They run away from constructive biblical criticism, judgment and rebuke and throw false words around like “Judge Not!” Touch not my anointed” and “You are off the devil.” Their arrogance and snobbery stinks to high heaven! Their so called miracles and healing are not substantiated or documented in the news media!  They would like to have us believe that Jesus said:
“When I go away i will send the Holy Spirit who will cause you to twitch, shake, quake and behave like animals?”

They love to talk about “soaking” but there are negative sides to soaking that nobody talks about and the fact that many are simply losing their minds and are being put on psychotropic drugs because they are “bi-polar” or “schizophrenic” which completes the job of the devil totally stealing their minds. There are millions now ensnared by the powers of the Devil while many brainless pastors stand over them fanning them with their new gospel MANTRA of shouting, “more lord, more lord,” which shows people jerking, twitching, acting like animals; barking like dogs; mooing like cows; howling like hyenas’; clucking like chickens; laughing uncontrollably and even having imaginative sexual experiences on the carpets of churches. This insane, feel good gospel may be filling their churches sinful people but it is also filling it with hardcore devils and pay day is just around the corner – EMPTY CHURCHES and God’s judgment!

And then we have the “Carpet Time”! During the so called Revival conducted by Rodney Howard Browne, in 1993-94, in the now nonexistent defunct Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland Florida, many people spent “Carpet Time” on the floor. And what good did it produce them or anybody including Dan Strader who was robbing and raping the sheep with the help of his father Senior Pastor Karl Strader during the revival? None!

Few had heard of Rodney Howard-Browne before he led a series of revival meetings in Lakeland, Florida in 1993. A lot has happened since then; some of it is commendable, and some of it is reprehensible. In theory Browne came to America from South Africa to “revive” a largely sleeping church. He quickly got labeled as a Holy Ghost “bartender” because of the manifestations of “holy laughter” dominating his ministry. In his meetings he taught that no only it was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep but only God was to judge pastors, not the (dumb) sheep! He also taught that thieves were to be blessed and rewarded, not judged for this is what Jesus would want them to do! He also taught that it was more important to give than to receive and spend a lot of time receiving offerings that he spent on himself and family members. Rodney learned about nepotism from his good friend Senior Pastor Karl Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church, Lakeland, Florida, for the bible stated:

1TM 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

South African Pentecostal Evangelist Rodney Howard-Browne, a white supremacist in theology, who immigrated with all his brothers and parents to United States became a naturalized American and taught that “sheep needed to be fleeced or they would have too much hair and could not see where they are going.. It was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep had been credited with bringing the laughter revival to America. But from what really happened in Carpenter’s Home Church in 1993 and 1994 and its devastating effect on the community including the robbing, raping and murdering of the sheep, was not much of a revival.

Roy Aldrich, a retired school teacher, was robbed of $100,000.00 by Pastor Karl Strader and his son Dan Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church Lakeland, Florida. Rodney, who was a personal friend of Karl Strader who practiced nepotism, and bought him a Lincoln town car, was asked to help the elderly victims who were robbed by the Straders and he refused. But when German Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s decided to relocate his ministry to Florida, Rodney Howard-Browne decided he would give Bonnke a house. At first he offered Bonnke his own house in Tampa, but Bonnke had to locate in Orlando to be closer to his operational base. It was then that Howard-Browne decided to build Bonnke a new $250,000 home in Orlando. Rodney then drove a brand new car to Bonnke’s driveway.

How gracious and wonderful of Rodney to be a respecter of persons to the high and mighty and to ignore the real plight of the poor and needy?

Many Third Wave Pentecostals whose prophecies are false and are really ignorant of Scriptures like to spend “Carpet Time” and compete with each other as if it were some kind of a competition to see who is more spiritual than the other. None of them is “spiritual” in terms of the Holy Spirit but, being harassed and possessed with demons, they are satisfied with a so-called counterfeit “form of religion denying the power of it” (2 Tim. 3: 5). The rest of the verse says, “Avoid such people.” The Greek word means to “turn one’s self away”. And, if they do not turn away, they have nobody to blame but themselves. What they don’t realize is that if you are soaking yourself in bad teaching, a person will drown themselves to the point that they will lose their salvation or never be able to know the full life of Salvation and the real Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Fortunately, we have seen many of such people come for help and receive the exciting new life in Jesus Christ empowered by the Baptism of Holy Spirit. The uncontrolled shaking epileptic-like symptoms disappear immediately after we cast the demons out and is replaced with Fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace,self-control, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” (Gal. 5: 22 – 23). Soaking results in “spiritual drowning”!

The Holy Spirit is a person of Integrity and Rodney Howard Browne, Richard Roberts and Karl Strader are not only wolves in sheep’s Clothing but devoid of integrity. Rodney is known for teaching that the pastors must fleece and sheep and Richard was forced to resign as President of ORU for embezzlement of money. Rodney arrived in America penniless and became a multi millionaire without doing an honest day’s work. And the Roberts “seed faith” teaching is just a shrewd method to rob the poor and needy and make the Roberts rich!

Yes the so called Third Wave leaders who are also supposed to be Apostles, Prophets and men of God not only have no integrity but are liars, thieves, manipulators and scoundrels. Their leaders suffer from Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)   in which a person is excessively preoccupied with personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity, mentally unable to see the destructive damage they are causing to themselves and to others in the process and they include scoundrels Rodney Howard Browne, Richard Roberts, Stephen Strader, Todd Bentley, Bill Johnson, Benny Hinn and Patricia King. Today’s New Apostolic Reformation evangelist along with many a pseudo eschatological prophet, are by nature very funny characters. They come on stage like a mafia planted Vegas styled comedian with that “I’ll be here all week” arrogance. They use distracting comedic covers to size up the pastor, shake down the audience and in general, systematically case the joint for future theological divestment opportunities. Equipped with recycled recommendations from Barnum and Bailey pastorates nationwide, circuit riders today prosper at the expense of congregations with hireling pastors who are short on originality. The Andy Stanley canned ham sermons in circulation have already exceeded their shelf life so new and improved diversions must be employed to keep the fellowship in *stitches. The catch phrase industry’s big name sloganeering department is in constant research and development to produce a politically correct format for this takeover. In essence the fall conference schedule should read; ‘The Seven Meaningless Days of No Bothersome Scripture Tour.’ When working with the right entertainment agencies many similar themes are in production to be implemented week after week; usually guarantying another successful seminar based heist.

The testimony industry thrives on tall tales of old sins. I could write book. Overemphasis of, ‘been there done that,’ causes some to imagine that God gets more glory when discribing the lengthy details of our former ways. It’s true that if you were a drunk before you were born again you could be instrumental in leading ‘a’ drunk to Christ. If you were in prison for many years, a jail ministry is an honorable goal and working with the homeless after having been through such an experience is acceptable when looking at serving the Lord. Stories of being a former adulterer, pedophile or bunko artist could in essence be a witnessing tool when directing a corrupt televangelist or Catholic priest to Christ but what we used to be has no practical substance; only the convicting power of the truth of scripture, when spoken in a timely manner, can be effective for any kind of restoration. Holding the attention of an unregenerate prospect these days is, and of itself, difficult to do since every possible scenario can be seen on the History Channel, A&E or pay for view. It is said we may be the only Bible that some will ever read so the evidence of a true conversion is not necessarily in mere words. Tall tales of how bad we were or how much we think we know now may not apply but in being a living witness; either for or against the Gospel. If we are in Christ, we are made of new stuff: old things are gone and should only be mentioned briefly in passing. (2 Co 5:17) So! What’s new with you?

When one mentions the movement the ”NAR”, what may come to mind is the New Apostolic Reformation (C.Peter Wagner’s cult), But, when one explores their WHACK (talk about getting ”WHACKED”) theology, NAR really just stands for ~ New Age Religion!!! But The Recipe for Continuous Victory and Success Doesn’t Change

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).

The Word of God is the building block we need as Christians to shape up our lives and become all that God has planned for us to be. This is because the Word has inherent ability to produce what it says. In Joshua 1:8, ever before Joshua could embark on the mission of leading the Jews into the Promised Land, God instructed him to meditate on the Word regularly and keep the Word in his mouth. He was to have the Word in his heart and in his mouth, and be completely taken over by the Word. That way, he would be careful to do the Word.

This was necessary because God had premised Joshua’s success on meditating on the Word. If this was true for Joshua, it’s all the more true for us today as Christians. The Word of God is what we need to live a successful, prosperous and victorious life. Thus, you shouldn’t allow any kind of failure in your life! God has given us His Word that’s able to make us successful, prosperous and victorious. Our responsibility is to think God’s thoughts; speak and live according to the Word.

God’s Word is our sure road map to a life of unending victories. So if as a Christian you’ve been experiencing consistent failures rather than victories in your life endeavours, what you need do is a Word-check. It might mean that you’re not living according to God’s Word. Now, that doesn’t mean you’re necessarily doing something wrong. It does mean however that there’re some important things you’re not doing. An example could be proper meditation on the Word; it’s a sure recipe for success. Praise the Lord!

 Larry Tomczak says the way Christians are raising money today is ridiculous.Let’s suppose you are closing out your day with some salsa and chips when you flip on the television. You wince as you witness a repeat performance–not of another episode of Survivor but of a high-powered, high-pressure appeal for money during a talk show on your local Christian station.”Ohhh, the anointing is so strong right now,” the host says. “You need to give while the anointing is here!”You believe in the anointing of God and in the power of prayer. You love and appreciate many of the people on this TV program and you know God uses them.You certainly don’t want to be critical. So you close your eyes, shake your head in disgust and turn off the set.

“This is embarrassing,” you say to yourself. “Something isn’t right. Lord, I don’t understand–does it have to be this way?”

I know how you feel. I have seen this in church services and conferences and some of the same thoughts have surfaced in me.

Over the next several days you find yourself in conversations with Christian friends. Somehow the topic of Christian fundraising is mentioned.

The other people have strong opinions, from “It makes me sick” to “As soon as I see that stuff I turn off the TV.”

I wish this craziness were the exception, but it seems it is becoming the rule. During one recent week I turned on the tube and witnessed the following:

*In a highly charged atmosphere, a motivational speaker told her audience to shout “Amen!” She was flanked by a group of nodding, hand-clapping and hand-waving supporters. “Slap someone in agreement,” she said.

Agreement with what? The speaker quoted Psalm 71:21 and promised if viewers would pledge $71.21 a month for 12 months ($854.52) that God had told her He would give them “increase and greatness.”

The evangelist continued: “He’ll stop that lawsuit. … Greatness will be released in your job and finances and ministry and marriage even if you don’t have the resources or have two nickels to your name or don’t have a man to support you! Go to that phone and pledge $71.21 a month, and I prophesy to you that God will increase your greatness! Give now!”

*A well-dressed “bishop” who divorced his wife and remarried one week later forcefully told his audience to “obey the prophet of God and give.” He said God gave him a word for the young people: “You are in tremendous credit card debt, but if you’ll get up and pledge money and put it on your credit card, God will intervene for you. Don’t let anything hinder you. Today salvation comes to your house.”

(I wish I could remind this guy of Proverbs 22:26-27. It says that if you foolishly go into debt your very bed will be snatched from under you.)

*Another internationally known church leader told his TV audience that eight men were supposed to give $1 million each in the offering. “You have a choice,” he told them. “Obey God and win or disobey God and keep losing. You will lose God’s blessing! Go! And praise God while you’re dialing the phone.”

*Another leader used this hook to urge viewers to pledge money: “The more you pledge, the more protection you’ll have from God.” During other broadcasts this person had implied that people would be healed if they would sow money into his ministry!

I can’t help but remember the account of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8:9-21. His greed lured him to ask Peter if he could buy the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Peter rebuked him sharply and said: “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God” (NIV).

Stop the Madness!

The people I have described are sincere, but they are also misleading God’s people. And if we don’t bring some correction to their behavior soon the testimony of the American church will be ruined.

Referring to finances, the apostle Paul told the Corinthian church that their credibility was vital. “We want to avoid any criticism of the way we administer this liberal gift. For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men” (2 Cor. 8:20-21).

Can we say this today in our churches and ministries when we raise funds? Personally, I believe things have gotten so out of hand that our meek and mild Jesus is picking up His whip to cleanse the temple one more time.

It’s time to halt pressure-laden, deceptive, unbiblical, gimmicky practices that grieve God and hurt the cause of Christ–especially when we try to reach unbelievers. It’s time to demote slick pulpit marketers who offer different colored “prayer bears,” “prosperity bracelets” and other silly trinkets.

What’s next? Action figures and bobble-head dolls of our favorite TV preachers?

Paul admonished the church at Rome that God’s name was being blasphemed among the Gentiles because of them (see Rom. 2:24). What would he say about us?

I am not a detached, armchair critic. I’ve been in the ministry more than 30 years in both local church and parachurch work. I know the financial pressures are real.

I also know God is a God of abundance and prosperity, and I believe He honors the generosity of sincere people–even if they are wrongly pressured. I also thank God for multitudes of ministers who do display sensitivity and integrity in raising funds. (Thanks to Billy Graham for 50-plus years of a superb example!)

In year’s past, when church giving declined nationwide, I had to revise my local church budget, lay off a friend from a job, pray for a financial miracle and ask God a lot of questions about our goals.

My congregation got so desperate for God’s presence and provision that we shut down every church activity (we even closed our office!) so we could seek God from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for an entire week. Our choice was simple: Either trust the flesh or trust God.

When a church or ministry reaches a point of need, it makes sense to push the pause button and examine whether God’s work truly is being done in God’s way. Hudson Taylor, pioneer missionary to China, said this: “God’s work, done in God’s way, will never lack God’s supply.”

If God promised to supply all our needs, then shouldn’t we evaluate if our current “needs” are actually “wants”? We may realize that we have wandered off-course.

How many ministry leaders make desperate pleas for projects that God never originated? Rather than manufacture a crisis by going on a fundraising binge (“We must raise $50,000 by the 31st, or we’ll have to shut down!”) maybe we should be honest and admit God is using lack to get our attention!

Supernatural Provision

We’ve seen awesome financial miracles in my church. At the end of the year we were struggling we realized we needed $30,000 to meet our budget.

After praying we informed people of the need. We requested prayer, reviewed biblical passages and invited a Spirit-led response.

While I was driving to our office on New Year’s Eve, I stopped by a post office. A man I’d never met popped out of the lobby and smiled. “I saw you deposit your mail and felt God wanted you to know He’s making a deposit in your account today,” he said to me.

That afternoon a flurry of checks arrived. By the time the ball dropped at Times Square to signal the New Year, God had met our need with $30,500!

I know God can provide. And I know He loves to pour out His extravagant love for us by meeting our needs. But we must stop misusing His Word and misrepresenting His character with our disgusting circus antics.

If we excuse ourselves by saying we couldn’t care less what the world thinks of our financial pleas, the perception among growing numbers of both Christians and nonbelievers will continue to be that something is rotten in our ranks.

Whether we like it or not, perception is reality. We are turning people off, especially the younger “make it real” generation, when we manipulate people to fill offering plates.

Have we forgotten what happened to Jim Bakker and his PTL ministry?

“As the true impact of Jesus’ words regarding money impacted my heart and mind, I became physically nauseated,” Bakker wrote in his book I Was Wrong after his release from prison. “I was wrong. I was wrong! Wrong in my lifestyle, certainly, but even more fundamentally, wrong in my understanding of the Bible’s true message. Not only was I wrong, but I was teaching the opposite of what Jesus had said.”

All of us need to ask ourselves if our attitude is “anything goes” in our church or ministry fund raising. Consider the following three guidelines related to finances.

1. Giving begins in the local church. According to the Bible, every Christian should be “added” to a church family and should financially support the church leadership with their tithes (see Acts 2:41-42; Gal. 6:6; 1 Tim. 5:17-18; 1 Cor. 9:3-12). To avoid draining off resources or competing with others, early Christians entrusted their funds to the leaders for distribution of needs and even channeled additional funds to a needy cause through their local church (see Acts 4:34-35; 1 Cor. 16:2).

This parallels the Old Testament model, in which most giving was directed primarily to a centralized location (the temple) for distribution by the leaders (the Levites). Additional giving (above and beyond basic tithes and offerings in this context) was seen as “freewill offerings”–similar to our giving today to worthy evangelistic causes, mercy ministries and so on.

John Chrysostom, a father of the early church, observed church giving in A.D. 390 and stated that the believers “did not dare to put their offering into the hands of the needy, nor give it with lofty condescension, but they laid it at the feet of the apostles and made them the masters and distributors of the gift. What a man needed was then taken from the treasury of the community, not from the private property of individuals. Thereby the givers did not become arrogant.”

2. We need guidelines for fundraising.The father of all modern fund raising is George Müller (1805-1898). He established orphanages in England and provided for thousands of needy children. I’ve visited these former homes and pondered how God faithfully supplied all the needs without any inappropriate sales techniques or high-pressure manipulation.

Müller’s guidelines are relevant for correcting much of the current fund-raising abuses, although I would add one qualifier to his first point: soliciting monetary help (see guidelines below).

Though I respect those who have a preference for never making specific needs known, I do believe there is biblical support for doing so (as Paul did with the Philippians and Corinthians) as long as information, not manipulation, is being shared. When Jesus said to give, not letting your left hand know what the right is doing (see Matt. 6:3), He was addressing motive, not method.

Müller’s guidelines state:
* No funds should ever be solicited. No facts or figures concerning needs are to be revealed by the workers in the orphanage to anyone, except to God in prayer. [This is not a biblical mandate, but it is interesting that Müller’s work was fully supported in this manner.]
* No debt should ever be incurred.
* Money contributed for a specific purpose should never be used for any other purpose.
* All accounts should be audited annually by professional auditors.
* No ego pandering by publication of donors’ names with the amount of their gifts. Each donor should be thanked privately.
* No prominent or titled persons should be sought for the board or to advertise the institution.
*The success of the institution should be measured not by the numbers served or by the amounts of money taken in but by God’s blessing on the work, which is expected to be in proportion to the time spent in prayer.

3. We need to use discernment. It’s time for the 21st century church to clean house or prepare to have Jesus clean our clocks as He did with the money changers of His day. We must not procrastinate or continue staging this embarrassing financial circus.

Chrysostom’s words to greedy church leaders of his day need to be heard in our generation: “You have taken possession of the resources that belong to Christ and you consume them aimlessly. Don’t you realize that you are going to be held accountable?”

Years ago some Anglican bishops in Africa took a courageous stand for financial integrity. When the Episcopal Church in the United States voted to ordain a practicing homosexual clergyman in August 2003, the African leaders announced they would not take any money from the American denomination. Then they exhorted the U.S. Episcopalians to repent.

Although the African Anglicans have great financial needs, Archbishop Peter Akinola of Nigeria said this: “If we suffer for a while to gain our independence and our freedom and to build ourselves up, I think it will be a good thing for the church in Africa. And we will not, on the altar of money, mortgage our conscience, mortgage our faith, mortgage our salvation.”

Imagine that! Rejecting offers of money to stay pure before God.

Maybe we can act similarly–putting principle before pragmatism–with our finances. We need to fix our eyes on the eternal priorities of the kingdom instead of the temporal needs of our flesh.

Let’s repent of our dullness and disobedience. Let’s realign our standards with God’s. Then our hearts will be prepared to receive–should God open the windows of heaven and pour out an overflowing blessing.

Let’s Get Blunt About It

Ten questions to ask before you give money to ministries:

1. Are the people who are asking for money modeling Christlikeness and servanthood or salesmanship and self-promotion?
2. Are they exalting Jesus Christ or exalting people and ministries?
3. Do they model prayerful dependency on God, or do they use pressure and manipulation to incite others to give?
4. Do they give people an opportunity to quietly and patiently hear from God, or do they insist that the giving must be done “now” or “instantly”?
5. Is there evidence of humility, purity and integrity in their demeanor and presentation, or do they use insincere hype, pushiness and striving?
6. Do they offer a sincere, faith-building presentation of Scriptures and testimonies or misleading promises and fear-inducing suggestions?
7. Does this ministry have a record of spiritual fruit that honors God, or is their reputation marred by unsubstantiated claims and exaggerated reports?
8. Do the people asking for money have godly lifestyles of humility and servanthood, or do they live as pampered people who require egotistical titles and lavish living?
9. Is the ministry financially accountable, or are false assurances used to gain credibility?
10.  Do they ever imply that giving in an offering will increase a person’s spiritual gifts or level of anointing?

In North America Evangelical Churches including Pentecostal are way different than our forefather knew and  experienced. Today they not only teach seek manifestations, goose bumps, experience God through metaphysical spiritual experiences (occult new age)out of body, astro-projection, glory clouds, gold dust, gold teeth, fire tunnels, impartations of laying on of hands to toke the ghost, drunk in the spirit, barking, hissing like a snake, running screaming-fire fire fire , healing rooms, ihop-transdental type centering prayer -holy yoga, hypnotic rock music and false healings. I have seen people say and do all kinds of stupid things in the house of God including running around backwards carrying communion elements, never mind their stupid false prophesies that they say God has given them! 

 These deceived ones ignore totally what scriptures says of how a true Church of Jesus Christ must be conducted in 1 Corinthians 14 of things done decently and in order. BEING OUT OF CONTROL SEEMS TO BE THE NORM:

LAKELAND REVIVAL FAILURE AND EXPOSURE

Anybody with brains would have seen from the failure of the Lakeland Revival in Florida, that Todd Bentley and his Florida revival was an absolute dud and of demonic origin. And Todd Bentley, the criminally convicted homosexual pedophile turned drunken heretic and adulterer who kicked old ladies in the face and stomach on YouTube at the failed Lakeland, Florida counterfeit revival has entered into a biblically adulterous re- marriage while under a ―process of restoration‖ led by biblically proven false prophet Rick Joyner.

 Bentley was ring master at a debacle of lunacy and false healing debunked on national TV orchestrated by the infamous Strader family, whom the District Attorney implicated in financial scandals defrauding elderly Christians of millions of dollars. While the Florida District Attorney publicly names Pastor Steve Strader as complicit in the swindling, his brother was sent to prison for over 30 years as a professional gangster under American anti racketeering RICO statutes. Bob Jones was debunked as a sexual predator with vulnerable women while Paul Cain was publicly disclosed to be a drunken pervert with a life long history of alcoholism and homosexuality.  In 2009 after the revival failed and Todd Bentley divorced his wife, Rick Joyner led the restoration team which included leaders who had vouched for Bentley‘s good character in the past even as he was deceiving us all, and has posted a letter on his web page. We are informed that  Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can.

Their being married far from making it right has in my view made matters even worse and totally disqualified Todd Bentley from any reinstatement in ministry in the foreseeable future. It means there is no repentance. He has simply gone into outright rebellion by marrying his mistress. Even if his wife had chosen to divorce him, which does not seem to be the case, a more judicious, moral and righteous course of action would have been to break off this adulterous relationship and stay celibate before God Instead, he remarries quickly. And we are put before the fait accompli. Is there a recent translation of the New Testament that decrees that the solution to adultery is to quickly divorce the offended party and marry the mistress?  Wagner, unlike Arnott, admits that he, and the “apostles” where well aware that “chaos and confusion had begin to invade the Outpouring” but he went against the warnings of the others…  Hence Wagner stated Todd Bentley now carries the label of a liar and a deceiver. I’m sorry to mention it, but I felt personally deceived in the same way when Ted Haggard’s sin was exposed and he was immediately removed from ministry…

  Suffice it to say that there is more than I am going to mention. First of all, Todd has been removed from public ministry until further notice. He has resigned from the ministry he founded, Fresh Fire, so he is no longer a part of that board. It has become clear that he indulged in periodic drunkenness. He has no intention at the moment of reconciling with Shonna, nor does she with him. Their marriage has been torn for years by his emotional attachment with at least one other female whose physical contact went beyond hugging and kissing and holding hands. Enough said-maybe more details will be revealed later-but it was clearly immoral. All of this was skillfully concealed by lying and by swearing close associates who had observed his behavior to secrecy.

 Mark Berry told us that: Stephen Strader, who has been keeping records, affirms that the evil that the prince of the power of the air had been subtly introducing into the Outpouring I started to be exposed and unraveled the day after the alignment, June 24! Some questions then… if that is correct and accurate what then was the “Chaos and confusion” that so worried Strader that he felt he needed to bring in Wagner in the first place?  And what where the “problems” that Wagner and his friends where debating before the 24th June?  Hmmm there’s a bucket full of contradiction there as far as I can see!

 I’ll be honest with you, there is so much inconsistency in the statements from all the “apostles” involved (Strader, Joyner, Arnott and Wagner in particularly!) I can’t help but question what exactly went on.  Dutch Sheets, part of the Prophetic/Charismatic movement is worried about it too… he calls for more honesty from the leaders involved 

 If Dutch Sheets called for more honesty from the leaders involved in the demonic Lakeland revival how come it was never given by any of the revival leaders?

The jerking in Toronto, Brownsville or any other revival place is not a sign of the Holy Spirit but of a Kundalini demon which infiltrated Christianity mainly in North America through Rodney Howard Browne! The fact is the bible never talks about ―jerking‖ being an attribute of the Holy Spirit but rather it states but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control THE KEY WORD HERE IS SELF-CONTROL AND WHEN YOU ARE POSSESSED BY A DEMONIC KUNDALINI SPIRIT THERE IS NO CONTROL AND THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG AND AGAINST SCRIPTURE

And it’s a fact that all the prophecies and prayers seen in the Todd Bentley Apostolic and Prophetic commissioning were false, useless and dead! It would have been very useful instead of just making a general statement “We believe another strong wave of Revival will descend upon us very soon. We have had several encouraging Prophetic Words recently, that God is about to move again very powerfully” that we were told who these prophets were and what was their proven track record so we could do what the scripture tells us to do in 1 Corinthians 14 “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge” instead of taking the word of fools who supported and mentored Todd Bentley!

And let us not forget that Bob Jones was debunked as a sexual predator with vulnerable women while Paul Cain was publicly disclosed to be a drunken pervert with a life long history of alcoholism and homosexuality.

Exposing False Prophets (And False Politicians)

WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE? ALL OF A SUDDEN A PERSON BECOMES A PUBLIC PREACHER AND HE CANNOT BE JUDGED TO SEE IF HE IS A FALSE PROPHET? HOGWASH! THE BIBLE CLEARLY STATES WE ARE TO JUDGE ALL PREACHERS:

1 Corinthians 14:29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge.

In Matthew 7:15, Jesus said “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” And in verse 20 He says again, “Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”

Many times, the Bible warns us of false prophets. God warns us because He loves us and He does not want us to be led away by false teaching and the greed of men. He wants us to only know the truth and to only listen to His true prophets.

It may not seem important to some, in the day that we live in, to be concerned with false prophets. After all how can they hurt us? How can false prophets and false teachers hurt a Christian?

Some people think false prophets are those who cause their followers to shave their heads and commit murders. There are those who think false prophets are those who gather together their followers and drink poisoned Kool-aid. Others think that leaders who teach their followers to store guns and food for the great war are the false prophets mentioned in the Bible. Well, they may be false leaders and they may use the name of Jesus, but they are not exactly the ones Jesus is referring to here in Matthew 7.

In the last days, there will be many false prophets, apostles, teachers, and brethren, and they will be led by their master, Satan. In 2 Corinthians 11:13-14, we are given some insight into their method of operation. It says, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light, therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness whose end will be according to their works.”

Second Peter 2:1 is another verse that sheds some light on false prophets saying, “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.”

Many other scriptures refer to these counterfeit people, but here are two points that are extremely important.

1)    These false prophets and false teachers will not appear to be false.

Second Corinthians 11:13 says that these leaders will appear to be righteous individuals who appear to radiate the light of Jesus. They will be so camouflaged that many will follow them. But that should not be.

Jesus said that His sheep would know His voice and another they will not follow. (John 10:3-5, 27.) We need to listen to the voice of Jesus daily (in our hearts) as He speaks to us through the voice of His Holy Spirit. Then when the false prophet comes along stealing, killing and destroying, we will not be led astray because we will know that the voice is another voice and not the voice of the great shepherd, Jesus. (v. 10.)

2)    They will teach false doctrine and not the true Full Gospel of Jesus Christ including the Baptism of the Spirit and healing being the birth right of each child of God

Without the true Word of God being taught, faith will not grow. With undeveloped faith we will not be as effective in our witnessing and we will not be walking in the promises of God. Instead, we will be walking in the problems and the ways of the world. And that’s what Satan wants for you and me.

Let me give you a word of caution. Be aware that false prophets, teachers, and apostles are in the world.   Be aware of the negative, but walk in the positive.

The bible teaches us that God anoints some people to root out and to pull down to destroy to subdue and to throw down nations, kingdoms, powers and principalities and individuals.  All kings of Israel including David,  Saul and Jesus were anointed by the Holy Spirit with wisdom to rule and to destroy their enemies.. That is why  it says about David and Jesus and other rulers of the kingdom:

  There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.  The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,  The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might,  The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.  His delight is in the fear of the LORD,  And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,  Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,  And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;  He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,  And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.  Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist. Isaiah 11:1-5

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor;  He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives,  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,  Isaiah 61:1-4

For the day of vengeance is in My heart, And the year of My redeemed has come. Isaiah 63:4

Speaking of slaying the wicked, the enemies of God, there is an anointing to slay the wicked and Moses, Elijah, Elijah, Jesus  and Peter demonstrated it. The bible tells us about Moses one of the greatest men of God:

Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies), then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the LORD’S side-come to me.” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. And he said to them, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘Let every man put his sword on his side, and go in and out from entrance to entrance throughout the camp, and let every man kill his brother, every man his companion, and every man his neighbor.’ ” So the sons of Levi did according to the word of Moses. And about three thousand men of the people fell that day. Exodus 32:25-28 

 And king David the anointed ones was anointed to kill his enemies. The bible records:

I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.  I have wounded them,  So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet. For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.  You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They cried out, but there was none to save;  Even to the LORD, but He did not answer them.  Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind; I cast them out like dirt in the streets. Psalm 18:37-42

Elijah another great man of God was anointed to slay the false prophets of Baal:

And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there. 1 Kings 18:40

And Elijah transferred his anointing of killing the enemies of God and His people to Elisha and others:

  Then the LORD said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria. “Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. “It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill. 1 Kings 19:15-17

  And Elisha who did twice as many miracles as Elijah also used his anointing to  kill his enemies:

 Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” 2:24 So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the LORD. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. 2 Kings 2:23

  And the anointing that was upon Peter caused the enemies of God to die:

 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Acts 5:1-6

 And Yes Jesus killed people by sending them to hell. He made decrees with His mouth that became curses not blessings and the people went to hell as a result. They received greater condemnation for being sons of hell! The bible records for our profit and instruction:

  “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.  “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matthew 23:13-15

  Jesus didn’t go around saying nice things to people especially to religious ones? “Woe to you” doesn’t mean something good is going to happen to you? When it was needed Jesus told the truth to people:

  “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.  “It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! “Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. Matthew 10:24-27

  Yes, Jesus cursed, not blessed, the religious hypocrites of His day and our day who contended with and fought with Apostles and prophets and even murdered them. Woe comes to those who spurn their message and count it a trivial matter. Scripture warns all men, “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” (Psalm 105:15). It is a scriptural fact that God will render judgment to all who reject and persecute His true servants. (Matthew 23:34-35). The book of Revelation declares a time of godly rejoicing at the destruction of a system that has persecuted and martyred men of God throughout the ages saying, Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”   

  In the Old Testament there were various ministerial offices such as the Patriarchs, the Prophets, the Levites and the Pastors. It seems that the most significant was the Prophet. He was the watchman and messenger of God who gave warning to the nation of Israel from God. God’s word is true:

 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: “When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.  “Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.  “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 1 “Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.” Ezekiel 3:17-21

  The Prophets had specific messages from God to the nation of Israel. The rebukes and warnings of Samuel to Saul, Nathan to David, or Elijah to Ahab are some good examples of men with divine commission. Kings and nations witnessed the hand of God on these men. Consider Moses, for example, who was not afraid of the most powerful king of his time — the Pharaoh of Egypt. This massive empire collapsed as a result of the message from an appointed man of God. The message of Daniel, a Hebrew slave in Babylon, brought about the conviction and repentance of Nebuchadnezzar, one of history’s most the powerful monarchs. It is no wonder that this world is not worthy of these messengers of God. (Heb. 11:38). But Apostle Paul told us that in the New Testament:

 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 1 Corinthians 12:28-30

  And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,  Ephesians 4:11-12

The Word of God tells us clearly that the Lord told Abraham that his seed, Israel, would be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, that they would live in slavery, and yet 400 years later they would come out of slavery “with great substance” (Genesis 15:13-14).

The Lord promised that when His people Israel would leave Egypt, they would leave with the wealth of the Egyptians, with great substance! And that is exactly what happened! When Moses brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, the Word of God tells us that they “spoiled” the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36).
 
But notice that the wealth of the Egyptians was given to the Israelites just before they left Egypt. The wealth of the Egyptians was not given to them while they lived in slavery. It was given to them right before they left! Let me add something extremely important: The wealth of the Egyptians was given to Israel after the blood was applied, not before! They were a saved people, a delivered people, when they received the wealth of the Egyptians!
 
The Word of God says that what happened to Israel is a shadow, and we, the New Testament church, are the substance of that shadow.
 
What happened to them was our example, and what happened to them will surely soon happen to us; for just before we leave this world, right before the rapture of the church, God will give us the wealth of this world.

But Benny Hinn is a parasitical prosperity pimping preacher! Catherine wrote on March 7, 2011 and stated  I watched a little TBN yesterday to see if these preachers are still as bold as ever and I couldn’t believe it…First there was Benny Hinn actually asking for his $600,000 attorney’s fees. He was trying to come off as an “Oh, shucks” victim of his divorce… he’s “being attacked”…. but he “prayed and prayed about it”… but what he DIDN’T do was simply get rid of the lawyers and do what a real Christian would do.. settle it on the courthouse steps, turn the other cheek, perhaps… He actually asked his sheep to pay his legal fees!  Now… why don’t I have $600,000 legal fees? How does a person accrue $600,000 in legal fees? Why would he ask his sheep to feed the world’s system for his own personal benefit?  And why would people want to pay his legal fees???  That’s GOT to be illegal! To ask for your legal fees in a church?  There is SO much wrong with that that I won’t go on…

And then the next show was Mark Chirona… ahhh…  Bishop, Prophet, Doctor, Apostle, Master AND Life Coach….Mark Chirona, I went to see him once and he truly believes he’s a Vegas Act…with the outfits and singing to the captive audiences.  But anyway, I only caught the part where he actually said, “By the time I say “3”, I want you to call in with your donation.  One…. Two….THREE!!! ” How’s THAT for a tactic?  He is now Benny Hinn’s new chair warmer on his TV show.  Others don’t come back, but there’s Mark, probably getting 20% of the proceeds for sitting in Benny’s chair.

And Pat Francis who resides in Toronto Canada,  a graduate of the University of the West Indies in the medical field of Radiography and claims to have a Doctorate degree and God’s inner ear is President of Pat Francis Ministries Inc. which was established in January 1999 and is formally registered in Canada,   is  not only a nut and a liar, but also an advocate of God’s wealth transfer. Haman, the villain in the story of Esther, hated the Jews and sought to exterminate them. He succeeded in getting a decree issued to annihilate all the Jews in one day.

But God used Queen Esther and Mordecai, both Jews, to turn the tables on Haman and save their people.

Haman was hanged, while a counter-decree was given that allowed the Jews to defend themselves and destroy their enemies in one day. And so, God turned what had begun as an evil day for the Jews into many good days. He turned their mourning into rejoicing and gave them victory over their enemies.

God can do the same for you today. He can turn the tables on your enemies and turn your sadness into joy! Simply rest in Jesus’ finished work at the cross, which has set you above every evil assault the devil attempts to throw at you, and watch your evil day turn into days of rejoicing

Without the Baptism of the Spirit so called Christians are carnal and humanistic but not true believers!  They cannot walk in agape love without infilling of the Holy Spirit. Nor, pray as they ought without praying in the Holy Spirit prayer language of tongues.

 They are no better off than a nonbeliever without the power of God in them. In their  humanism , or so called humanity, they are powerless to overcome anything on their own apart from God anyway. So what can we expect from them? The works of the flesh, defeat and failure! Nothing more and nothing less!

CHARISMA reported that  Matthew Warren, 27, had struggled with mental illness before his death.

Evangelist Greg Laurie posted an e-mail the Saddleback Church pastor sent to this staff: “Only those closest knew that he (Matthew) struggled from birth with mental illness, dark holes of depression, and even suicidal thoughts. In spite of America’s best doctors, meds, counselors, and prayers for healing, the torture of mental illness never subsided. Today, after a fun evening together with Kay and me, in a momentary wave of despair at his home, he took his life.”

Christians are supposed to be victors not victims. Christ has given true believers power to deal with depression and demons. The bible tells us:

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Mark 16: 14  Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15  And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16   He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  17   And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

But really what do fundamentalist or most Baptists know about handling and casting out demons as Jesus instructed true Christians to do? Nothing! They just entertain them. The man in chains with a legion of demons was healed by Jesus with just his word.  But Warren is like most apostate Christians “having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof”.

One of the biggest reasons that the body of Christ hasn’t made a greater impact on our generation today is because of our failure to operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Without a doubt, In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus said all true believers would flow in the miraculous: “And these signs will follow them that believe; The vast majority of preaching done in the name of the Lord today is without the power of the Holy Spirit manifest through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

This is not the way the Lord intended it to be. The “main line” denominations have developed doctrines to cope with this obvious discrepancy. Jesus and the early apostles needed their preaching validated, how can we do any less? One of the most important steps to flowing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit is to earnestly desire them. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 12:31, It’s also very important to understand that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are always flowing. God doesn’t turn them “on” and “off.” We are the ones who are “on” or “off.”

That’s a startling statement to many people and one that verges on blasphemy to some, but it’s true. The Lord is always ready to flow through us in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It’s just like praying in tongues. We don’t have to wait for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to come on us to speak in tongues. We can pray in tongues at any time.

JESUS SAID ONLY OVERCOMERS WILL BE BLESSED NOT THOSE WHO ARE OVERCOME? GOD GIVES NO REWARDS FOR BEING IGNORANT AND DEVOID OF TRUTH AND POWER ESPECIALLY WHEN HE HAVE GIVEN US ALL THINGS!
IT’S SAD THAT SO CALLED CHRISTIANS HAVE THE GREATEST POWER AND WISDOM LIVING INSIDE OF THEM AND THEY DON’T USE IT

When you listen to wrong teaching, you’ll never get the right results

Romans 8:15-28

The Holy Spirit is important in our prayer life, without praying in the spirit or (tongues) intercession would be impossible. The word says we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. In 1Cor. 14:15 I will pray with the Spirit it didn’t say without the Spirit, so being filled with the Spirit is vital to the believer.

Joel 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, you can’t pray in the Holy Spirit without being filled with the Spirit. In 1 Cor. 14:14 Paul mentions pray with my spirit states that when a person prays in tongues, he does not know what he is saying, since it is spoken in a language he does not know.

In Eph 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, to listen to those that teach you don’t have to speak in tongues will cheat you out of a having a spiritual experience. Need I say more I can?

JESUS Healed All Who Were Sick

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:16-17

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

My Bible tells me that Jesus, the Word, healed all who were sick and afflicted and oppressed and possessed. God’s word is true:

PEOPLE ARE NOT GETTING HEALED TODAY BECAUSE MOST CHRISTIANS ARE NOT CHRISTIANS AND THOSE WHO ARE, ARE IN REBELLION AND IN DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD’S WORD AND COMMAND:

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:17-20

THE FULL GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

John 3: 1    There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
2    This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3    Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4    Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5    Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6    That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7    Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’
8    The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

BEING BORN AGAIN IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP OF SALVATION. JESUS CONSTANTLY TOLD HIS DISCIPLES ABOUT THE NEXT STEP OF SALVATION THE BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT.
Mark 10:38 But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” 39 They said to Him, “We are able.” So Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink the cup that I drink, and with the baptism I am baptized with you will be baptized;
ACTS 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.

BUT APOSTATE ONES THINK THAT BY BEING BORN AGAIN THEY HAVE THE WHOLE PACKAGE OF SALVATION WHICH IS A DEMONIC LIE FROM HELL BECAUSE JESUS CLEARLY DEFINED THAT ALL TRUE AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANS OR BELIEVERS WOULD SPEAK IN TONGUES:
MARK 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

WHEN THE TEST CAME RICK AND MATTHEW FAILED AS THEIR HOUSE WAS BUILT UPON THE SAND OF DOCTRINES OF DEMONS AND NOT ON THE ROCK WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST OR THEY WOULD NOT HAVE DENIED THE WORDS OF JESUS IN MARK 16

MATTHEW 7:24    “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25    and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26    “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27    and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

THE LORD KILLS AND MAKES ALIVE

1 Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed and said: ” My heart rejoices in the LORD; My horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation.
2 ” No one is holy like the LORD, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.

EVANGELICALS ARE OFF THE WALL

I think this David Wells needs to learn something more than just being  a Protestant.  He needs to learn that the first priority is to be a “Christian” and not just a “part-time Church member but one who has been baptized with the Holy Spirit and doing the work of the Holy Spirit with “signs, wonders & miracles”.  People develop “itchy feet” when they are not receiving the Full Gospel and the ministry that goes with it.

The Evangelical Church, as such, never existed.  It was and is a group of splinter group would-be Christians of whom Paul described, “holding the form of religion but denying the power of it.  Avoid such people.”  Lacking the power of the Holy Spirit they turn to political action and pressure groups without being the witness that is necessary to reach this world we live in.

There is only one Church and it is spread throughout the world guided by the Holy Spirit of which Paul  describes as a “remnant” (Rom. 9: 27, 11: 5).  The so-called Evangelical Church has never really existed except in the minds of people who will hear Jesus say one day, “Depart from me, you cursed, into the fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matt. 26: 41f).  Or, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven” (Matt: 7: 21).

 “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. “For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21

 Jesus held nothing back when He spoke to the deceived Pharisaical ones. He was not pleasant with them and He did not mince about with words. He told them exactly what He thought of them and where they stood with God. He called them all sort of things including vipers and snakes and said to them:

 “Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. John 8:43-45

 The last thing that deceived ones want to know is the truth. Why? Because their deeds are evil and they do not want to come to the light lest their deeds be exposed. Less others may clearly see that their deeds have not been done in God.  Many redemptionists teach us that God came to save everybody through the proclamation of the good news of the gospel. But Jesus never went the extra mile to convince or convert a Pharisaical one. As a matter of fact Jesus said on this subject:

 And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.” Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains. John 9:39-41

The Word of God teaches us that God has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts and turn to God so that He should heal them. God’s word records:

But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him, that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?”

Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again:  “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts,  Lest they should see with their eyes,  Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn,  So that I should heal them.”  These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke of Him.

Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. John 12:37-43

In Jesus day and even in our day not many Pharisaical ones were converted. Primarily because of arrogance and pride and desire for the praise of men rather than a real desire for God and all that He has to offer.  Many only want what God has to offer as long as it suits their hidden agendas for riches, prosperity and fame. But as soon as suffering and persecution arises because of God and His word they pull back and create a theology to justify their comfort zone.

One of the great causes of deception  a rejection of God’s truth and light in any area. The automatic consequence is that darkness and deception comes in. Slowly an inch might as well be a mile for the person for he or she putting other things as primary importance be it doctrines rather than Jesus and the Father. God’s word states:

Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. “And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. “I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

“And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. “He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. “For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. John 12:44-49

It is the words of Jesus that He speaks by the command of the Father which are important and not those of men. This is something that many chose not to appreciate nor understand. For it’s the words and things that the Holy Spirit makes real and gives life to which are important. For God’s word is true:

 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you 1 John 2:27

 Anything that is not taught or checked with the Holy Spirit becomes a liability and not an asset and could have some serious negative consequences to that person. Sincerity and presumption are no friends of those who go through a red light at a busy intersection.  There must be a real willingness to check all things with the Holy Spirit and reject anything that does not confirm with His words. Again God’s word is true:

 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  “Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ‘”And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matthew 7:13-29

A pastor who had visited heaven and talked with Jesus there, told the real story of a man who died and went to heaven, expecting Jesus to welcome him at the gates of heaven. He waited there three days before an angel told him that it is pointless for him to wait there since Jesus won’t see him. He was puzzled because he had done a great work for Jesus. He had initiated a Christian businessmen fellowship that encircled around the globe. There are chapters in every city and town in almost every country. There are meetings, magazines for Christian testimonies, souls were saved – surely he had done a great work for God. But the angel asked him one question. When he started the work, did he really get the idea from God or was it from himself? He pondered for a long time before he admitted that it was his own idea. The angel showed him his book of records and he was shocked at seeing the consequences of his actions. “You mean, I did that?” was all he could utter repeatedly. His work was actually drawing many Christians from their true callings when they jumped on the bandwagon he started.

Storms of life will come to every one to test and see if the person has heard the words of Jesus and has done them. Those who are left standing after the storm are God’s true ones and those who have fallen are false ones.   Each person makes a choice whether to act on the Word of God that is spoken by the Holy Spirit or not. Those who do not act are only deceived ones.  Apostle James clearly instructed the children of God:

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. James 1:22-25

Now Jesus taught on how it is possible to become deceived by having a bad eye which results from serving God and mammon:

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; “and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. “Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ “For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:22-34

 Spiritual blindness and deception comes from the love of money, prominence and fame and not being faithful with what has been entrusted to God’s own for good stewardship. Jesus stated:

 “So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light. “And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home. “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?

“No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they derided Him. And He said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:8-15

God is not fooled by any one and He knows the hearts of men including the Pharisaical ones even in the house of God. People get deceived because they chose the love of money over the love of God and being faithful. They literally end up departing from the faith they once had as a result of it. For God’s word is true:

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:9-10

 Those who love money and desire to be rich fall into temptation and snares of different kinds. Seeking and doing true justice, righteousness and truth, having integrity and obeying God’s commandments given by the Holy Spirit are subjected to a secondary consideration while personal profit becomes the primary goal.  This is something that King Saul did when he disobeyed the Word of God to go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they had , and not to spare them. But he was to kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ God’s word records:

 And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt. He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed. 1 Samuel 15:7-9

 As a result God greatly regretted  that He  had set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following God , and had not performed His commandment. After the battle Saul went to Carmel,  to set up a monument for himself when prophet Samuel confronted Saul and said,

 “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.”

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.” So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the LORD anoint you king over Israel? “Now the LORD sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’ “Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the LORD?”

And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 1 “But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”

I dislike their invention of keywords to describe their demonic counterfeit experiences and theology: keywords: apostolic, new wine, glory, refreshing, latter rain, glory cloud, soaking (same as meditating), move into the supernatural, prophetic, new breed, third wave, purpose driven, winds of change, winds of revival, supernatural motion, glory of the Lord, birthing, God’s kingdom is further being established on earth as it is in heaven, angelic hosts being released, connection points, portals, revival hubs, releasing, impartation’s or imparted with… , DNA, quantum, spiritual covering, global harvest, rains of revival, great awakening, new age, new dawn, suddenlies, oneness in Christ, unity, secret place, glory of God manifests on earth, visitation or visitations, paradigm, shifting, alignment, transported, prophetic towers, revolution, revolutionary, vertical and horizontal apostles, new beginnings, soaking in the Glory, operate in the glory and power of God, city transformation, activating and mobilizing others into their gifting, accurate prophetic words, prophetess, Nazarite, passion for revival, intercessor, releasing power and glory, promise keepers (mighty men, iron men), rise up  army of believers, passing on the mantle, Elijah legacy, Anointings named after biblical people, Slain in the Spirit, transformation, reformation, third heaven, opening the heavens, God is doing a new thing in your life, increasing your anointing, pulling up the tent stakes, God is increasing your territory, etc…”

I dislike their False prophets, Money changers and cult ways: IHOP is the bastard child of he now debunked and evil Kansas City Prophets alliance which spawned the twisted and deviant line of sexual predator Bob Jones, homosexual alcoholic Paul Cain, convicted child abuser, serial adulterer Todd Bentley. Mike Bickle led a team of false prophets as KCP prophesying in 1990 that the UK would experience great revival. Not only does history show this to be false, but affirms the very opposite to be true. The UK has slid further into moral and spiritual decline ever since.
From Kansas City to the religious fiasco in Toronto ,to the failed revival at Brownsville resulting in a major church split and public financial scandal, and on to the infamous heresy and abuse of Lakeland.

The same odious characters at the core attracting like-minded charlatans including the Strader bothers, Daniel imprisoned until 2036 for defrauding elderly Christians out of $3million and Stephen who was thought by the judge to be just as guilty. After Bentley‟s exposure in the USA on ABC Nightline he was swiftly removed from ministry to prevent further scrutiny. Not only was he unable to provide evidence of a single healing, many who were pronounced healed have since died. Furthermore the Arnold Palmer Hospital has stated that claims of resurrections were bogus.
A thread of carnality and heresy runs through the veins of this movement whose very DNA was present in the disgraced William Branham. It would seem that many Christians have still to learn that our privilege of calling is fulfilled in the PURSUIT OF GOD, not experiences. The twisted “charisma” of these false teachers/prophets bears no resemblance to the biblical practice of charismata or charismatic gifting as spoken of by Paul in 1Cor 14.

It’s obvious to most people that Todd Bentley and his Florida revival was an absolute dud and of demonic origin. And Todd Bentley, the criminally convicted homosexual pedophile turned drunken heretic and adulterer who kicked old ladies in the face and stomach on YouTube at the failed Lakeland, Florida counterfeit revival has entered into a biblically adulterous re- marriage while under a ―process of restoration‖ led by biblically proven false prophet Rick Joyner.

Bentley was ring master at a debacle of lunacy and false healing debunked on national TV orchestrated by the infamous Strader family, whom the District Attorney implicated in financial scandals defrauding elderly Christians of millions of dollars. While the Florida District Attorney publicly names Pastor Steve Strader as complicit in the swindling, his brother was sent to prison for over 30 years as a professional gangster under American anti racketeering RICO statutes. Bob Jones was debunked as a sexual predator with vulnerable women while Paul Cain was publicly disclosed to be a drunken pervert with a life long history of alcoholism and homosexuality. In 2009 after the revival failed and Todd Bentley divorced his wife, Rick Joyner led the restoration team which included leaders who had vouched for Bentley‘s good character in the past even as he was deceiving us all, and has posted a letter on his web page. We are informed that ‗Even so, they are married now and are resolved to make the most of their marriage, their lives, and to continue to serve the Lord in the best way that they can.

Their being married far from making it right has in my view made matters even worse and totally disqualified Todd Bentley from any reinstatement in ministry in the foreseeable future. It means there is no repentance. He has simply gone into outright rebellion by marrying his mistress. Even if his wife had chosen to divorce him, which does not seem to be the case, a more judicious, moral and righteous course of action would have been to break off this adulterous relationship and stay celibate before God Instead, he remarries quickly. And we are put before the fait accompli. Is there a recent translation of the New Testament that decrees that the solution to adultery is to quickly divorce the offended party and marry the mistress? And it’s a fact that all the prophecies and prayers seen in the Todd Bentley Apostolic and Prophetic commissioning were false, useless and dead! It would have been very useful instead of just making a general statement “We believe another strong wave of Revival will descend upon us very soon. We have had several encouraging Prophetic Words recently, that God is about to move again very powerfully” that we were told who these prophets were and what was their proven track record so we could do what the scripture tells us to do in 1 Corinthians 14 “Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge” instead of taking the word of fools who supported and mentored Todd Bentley!

 Yes in some parts of Christendom there are ‘Strange Manifestations’ that are being witnessed around the world today, in particular, what we are seeing today known as the ‘Lakeland Revival’ or ‘Florida Healing Outpouring’ . 1 Corinthians 5: 9 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people.     10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.     11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner — not even to eat with such a person.     12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside?

LIARS AND DECEIVERS MUST REPENT

1 John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7    But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.  2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Jesus and Apostle Paul warned us to beware of false apostles, deceitful workers who transform themselves into apostles of Christ when in reality they are ministers of Satan.  And why should this surprise any of God’s people? It should not for those whose father is the devil do what the devil does – murder, do not stand in truth and lie! They twist the Word of God and speak half truths all in the name of the One who doesn’t lie – Jesus Christ!

TRUE MEN OF GOD

True men of God who are called to be apostles, prophets, teachers do not need credentials, degrees or a license from the state. They are called by God and speak by God’s authority and in His name. Their position doesn’t come from completing a prescribed man-made course or planned for as other pursuits in life. Their anointing and words come from God because God Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7)!

Bible history tells us that for 400 years, from Malachi to Matthew, though there were many religious teachers, yet was there no true prophet. The book of Jeremiah warned against men including pastors who do not stand in God’s counsel and prophesy falsely:

“Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless;  They speak a vision of their own heart,  Not from the mouth of the LORD.  They continually say to those who despise Me,  ‘The LORD has said, “You shall have peace” ‘; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say,  ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ”   For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD,  And has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it? ….   “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in My counsel,  And had caused My people to hear My words,  Then they would have turned them from their evil way  And from the evil of their doings.  …”I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy lies in My name, saying, ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’  “How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Indeed they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart, … Jeremiah 23:16-22

In the book of Ezekiel, we find God’s condemnation of the shepherds that were feeding themselves and not the flock. “And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.” (Ezek 34:5). Beasts of the field are not lions and bears, but an evil, beast-like system that includes denominational systems to keep in place useless and burnt out egotistic pastors who are salt that lost its flavor.  God’s word is unchanging about Apostles and prophets:

Now then, we (apostles) are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.2 Corinthians 5:20

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me (Apostle, prophet, teacher), these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:19

Obey those (first apostles, second prophets, third teachers) who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Matthew 23:13
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!” Revelation 18:20

JESUS CURSED FALSE ONES

Jesus cursed, not blessed, the hypocritical religious and political leaders of His day who contended with and fought with Apostles and prophets and even murdered them and this includes many denominational leaders of our day. Woe comes to those who spurn their message and count it a trivial matter. Scripture warns all men, “Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” (Ps. 105:15). It is a scriptural fact that God will render judgment to all who reject and persecute His true servants. (Mt. 23:34-35). The book of Revelation declares a time of godly rejoicing at the destruction of a system that has persecuted and martyred men of God throughout the ages saying, Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

In the Old Testament there were various ministerial offices such as the Patriarchs, the Prophets, the Levites and the Pastors. It seems that the most significant was the Prophet. He was the watchman and messenger of God who gave warning to the nation of Israel from God. God’s word is true:

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: “When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.  “Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.  “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 1 “Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.” Ezekiel 3:17-21

The Prophets had specific messages from God to the nation of Israel. The rebukes and warnings of Samuel to Saul, Nathan to David, or Elijah to Ahab are some good examples of men with divine commission. Kings and nations witnessed the hand of God on these men. Consider Moses, for example, who was not afraid of the most powerful king of his time — the Pharaoh of Egypt. This massive empire collapsed as a result of the message from an appointed man of God. The message of Daniel, a Hebrew slave in Babylon, brought about the conviction and repentance of Nebuchadnezzar, one of history’s most the powerful monarchs. It is no wonder that this world is not worthy of these messengers of God. (Heb. 11:38). But Apostle Paul told us that in the New Testament:

And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 1 Corinthians 12:28-30

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,  Ephesians 4:11-12

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly;  nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;  and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away. 1 Peter 5:2-4

Yes, God gave to the church not only some to be evangelists, pastors and teachers but some to be apostles and prophets. And for those who reject the words of apostles and prophets woe will come to them just as Jesus promised. The reason many pastors suffer spiritual ‘burn out’  is not because of a lack of loyalty, commitment, faithfulness and respect from elders and saints alike but because they were never intended to be the sole ministry in the local church. God is a God of order, not disorder and He has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.  So when we fail to have God’s order in the local church of first apostles, second prophets, third teachers  and replace them with self-attained or self-appointed ministers who describe themselves  as an ambassador, a steward, a watchman, a shepherd and a messenger, we have no one to blame but ourselves that the local church is anemic, impotent and useless.  It’s to be noted Apostle Paul was never a pastor but always a prophet, a teacher and an apostle. God’s word is unchanging:

Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.  As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”  Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away. Acts 13:1-3

JESUS RULES BY EXAMPLE NOT MANIPULATION AND CONTROL

But there are false ones in the church of Jesus Christ, Nicolaitans, who with the restoring apostles and prophets to the Church to complete a five-fold ministry mentioned by Paul in Ephesians, try  to bring the sheep into  a repackaged disciple/shepherding movement under the title of church growth.  “Nicolaitans” means “Victorious over the people; a follower of Nicolaus, a heretic.” Anyone who uses their leadership position to manipulate others is bumping up against the thing Jesus hates.  The Lord wants us to be under His control, no one else’s. But even He doesn’t use such tactics of manipulation. He wants willing obedience, not contrived. Our acceptance was paid for on the cross, therefore we need not be man- pleasers.  Jesus rules by example and through serving but Nicolaitans rules through manipulation and control.  Nicolaitan authority is false authority. Therefore a believer is not required to submit to it. In fact he should take dominion over it. Nicolaitan authorities may try to label us as rebels, but Christ must reign supreme, regardless of what others say.

The root of the word Nicolaitans comes from Greek nikao, to conquer or overcome, and laos, which means people and which the word laity comes from. The two words together especially means the destruction of the people and refers to the earliest form of what we call a priestly order or clergy which later on in church history divided people and allowed for leadership other than those led by the spirit of the risen Lord Jesus Christ. A good translation of Nicolaitan would be “those who prevail over the people.” This clerical system later developed into the papal hierarchy of priests and clergy lording over the flock. The Council of Trent stated, “If anyone shall say that there is not in the Catholic Church a hierarchy established by the divine ordination, consisting of bishops, presbyters and ministers, let him be anathema.” This very idea was taken over by the Protestants with their own corruption of church leadership. The Church of Ephesus was commended for hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans. The wrong separation of the clergy from the laity is a great evil in God’s sight and He hates the lust for religious power. There is an ungodly spiritual authority in the Church today, which is nothing more than the prideful spirit of control, manipulation, domination and intimidation and a rebellion of the rightful authority of God.

Faithful believers who have put on Christ Jesus, are all God’s laity. Peter exhorted us to feed the flock of God which is among us, taking the oversight thereof, not for filthy lucre but of a ready mind. Neither as being lords over God’s heritage but being examples to the flock.  It’s a fact that shepherds serve the sheep but the wolves that clothe themselves with so-called leadership and spiritual authority serve themselves, thinking that they serve God. In essence, this makes them false christs. Early church leaders were established as overseers, not a ruling hierarchy.

One of the most obvious Nicolaitan maneuvers is often related directly to the preacher and his pulpit who misuses his authority by brow beating the people from the platform. Some sermons are simply personal vendettas disguised as “the Word”.  When they have a problem with someone rather than going to that person and confront it as per the pattern outlined in Matthew 18:15-17 they use the pulpit to attack their target.  As a result we seen preachers verbally condemn the flock for a lack of service, commitment, evangelism, etc. ignoring that their mandate is to EQUIP the Body to do the work, to actually disciple and train up the sons and daughters of God?  Ministers are to disciple others into their calling and let them do the work of the ministry! Many religious leaders fail to allow those under them to initiate ministry. Some pastors are able to use the creativity of others, as long as it is channeled in the direction which best serves the pastor’s interests. Autocracy is akin to the doctrine Jesus hates. But true leadership is secure enough in Christ to allow and encourage others to initiate their life with God. Sheep are to be encouraged to follow through with their dreams, even if they might fail.  They will experience life’s ups and downs and continue to see the completion of their dreams.

Yes, Jesus actually HATES the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. John wrote: “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John 3:8b) We must destroy such works and doctrines in our own lives before we can be effective in the Body of Christ. Revelation 2:16 reveals the tactic of Christ to deal with such demonic doctrine: “Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.” We must speak up against the Nicolaitans.  God’s word is unchanging:

“So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” Revelation 2:15

“And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?  “But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’?  “Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not.  “So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do. Luke 17:7-10
