CCThe Ultimate Power of the Universe
Attacks are coming and how you react and what you do is important. It will decide your destiny.

First, we must establish a biblical truth. Attacks will come against you. Just because you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, just because you are born again, just because you are a Christian does not stop the devil from doing what the devil does and that is this. He attempts to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You are his point of attack.

Sadly, many Christians do not realize this. They believe that as a Christian, God is in total control of their life and there is nothing that they must do. This develops into the belief that everything that happens is from God. If they have a victory, then God brought them through to victory. If they have a defeat, God took them through the destruction and the valley of the shadow of death in order to train them and humble them.

When living by this non-biblical view, a Christian will be ill-prepared when the enemy attacks and the destruction will be great because they lack knowledge and skills in the weapons of their warfare. It allows the enemy to catch them by surprise. The truth is attacks are coming. Psalm 34:19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” James 1:2 says we should consider it all joy when-not if-we encounter trials, tests, and tribulations.

If this were the end of the story, it would be a sad story. But it’s not the end. God has given us weapons that, when used properly, can repel any attack. If the attack is physical, we have the weapons. If the attack is emotional, we have the weapons. If the attack is financial, we have the weapons. And the weapons of our warfare are not of this world, but they are spiritual and more powerful than any earthly attack (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

It is true that the enemy has power, but we have been given authority over all of his power (Luke 10:19). What does that mean? That means we can order his power to stop. We can order his power to fail. We can order his power to leave. It doesn’t give us the ability to go on spiritual vacation or to turn our back on him. The enemy cannot be trusted and the enemy does not play by general rules, but he is forced by our authority to submit to the rules of God. And we have been given authority through the Son of God to crush and defeat every attack.

Of course, we know that faith is required to please God (Hebrews 11:6) and that it activates the power and authority here on earth. But first and foremost and above all, we must understand, receive, and submit to the law of love because God’s Word tells us that nothing, including faith, will work outside of love (Galatians 5:6). In fact, 1 Corinthians 13:13 tells us that faith, hope, and love are the three most important things for us to continue in. But then we are reminded that of the three, love is the greatest.

Why is this? Why is love so important and so great? It’s because love is the ultimate power of the universe. It is the very essence and substance of God. In fact, God’s Word tells us that He, himself, is love (1 John 4:16). And love never fails, nor can it be defeated. It conquers all and activates faith that is your victory that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4).

Scripture References:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8)

And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8)

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (1 John 4:20)

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

LOOK TO JESUS

BC

 THE FATHER’S PLAN

Luke 24:21 “But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.”

When the right time came, God sent forth His Son from Heaven in His pre-existent state, into the world. He was born of a woman (virgin birth) and was made subject to the requirements of the law. Jesus was sent at a specific time. The entrance of Jesus into the physical realm was not a random thing occurring at a haphazard time. There were developments that had to take place before Christ could come to earth and redeem man. The Father sent His Son to the earth at the earliest possible time. Anytime prior to the time Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, would have been premature.

His purpose for coming into the world was twofold. First, He came to “redeem them that were under the law.” He did this by perfectly keeping the law, fulfilling it, and paying its curse (Mt. 5:17; Gal. 3:13). Thus, Christ delivered us from the entire system of the law. The Greek word for redeem means “to buy OUT OF the slave market.”

Secondly, Christ gave us the status of sonship with all its privileges. Not only were we redeemed from the bondage of the law, but we were redeemed unto sonship. Many people stop short, only realizing what they were delivered from, not what they inherit. Sure, we need to rejoice that we are redeemed, but we also need to move on, and realize the full benefits of our inheritance.

God created us for Himself but we sold ourselves into slavery to the devil. God bought us back through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. No amount of effort, human works, or man’s own righteousness could bring the divine favor that we needed. It was the actual life of God (Lev. 17:11) that purchased our redemption.

 LOOK TO JESUS AND LIVE!

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.” – Numbers 21:8

People have asked me what the value of seeing Jesus is. They say, “Pastor, you talk about seeing Jesus all the time. What value is there in doing that? I’d rather you give me principles for success. It’s more practical.”

Well, the wonder of it is that when the Israelites in the Old Testament were bitten by snakes and were dying, those who looked to the Lord were healed (Numbers 21:8–9). Actually, they looked to a bronze serpent on a pole, which typified our Lord Jesus on the cross, as He became a curse for us on that cross (Galatians 3:13). Isn’t it amazing that these people were healed just by looking? They simply looked to the Lord and they lived!

So I pray in Jesus’ name that you’ll have a hunger to see Jesus. Every time you hear a sermon or read the Bible, you want to see Jesus and behold His glory. Ask the Holy Spirit to open up the Scriptures to you so that you can encounter Jesus. And as you fix your eyes on Him, you will be transformed from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). You will find peace for your soul, strength for your body and clarity for your mind. Symptoms of death will give way to manifestations of His abundance and resurrection life!

God’s grace has provided not only for salvation but also for every need of your life. In Christ is complete provision!

THE GOOD LAND

For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land — a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills. -Deuteronomy 8:7, NIV

God has a place prepared for you just like He prepared a place for His people in scripture. Notice that in this place God has prepared, there is no shortage — no shortage of resources, no shortage of opportunities, no shortage of creativity, of friendships, of joy and peace. In the good land, you will lack no good thing.

Anytime you are tempted to get down or look at what you don’t have, turn it around. Say, “Lord, I want to thank You that You are bringing me into my garden, a land of blessing, a land where my gifts and talents will come out to the full, a good land where I will fulfill my destiny, a good land where I’ll live healthy, happy and whole, a good land where my whole house will honor You!

“So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:6, 7).

Walking along the path Jesus has outlined for us calls for courage and bravery when the devil tries to block your way. When trouble hits or we don’t understand something with our logical mind, we must walk in faith knowing the truth of God’s word:

Isaiah 54:10 Amplified Bible (AMP) For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.

LET GOD’S PEACE LEAD YOU

Luke 24:36 “And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”

Just as every sport has disputes that must be settled by the officials, the peace of God is the umpire that settles all disputes as to what the will of God is for our lives. We must learn to listen to and heed the peace of God in our hearts.

God’s peace is something that every born-again believer has. It’s a fruit of the Spirit. That peace is always umpiring; we just don’t always pay attention. How many times have you acted contrary to the peace in your heart and afterwards, you experience disaster? You say, “I never did feel good about that.” That was the peace of God umpiring, but we chose to play by our own rules.

There are some things we can do to facilitate the peace of God umpiring in our hearts. First, consider ALL the options. Many wrong decisions have been made because not all the options were considered. Don’t let fear rule out God’s possibilities. Next, use your imagination to explore what will happen with each choice. You should be able to discern a greater peace as you consider the option the Lord would have you take. That is not to say that there will be total peace with any of the choices. In your spirit there will be total peace over the right choice, but we aren’t always totally in the Spirit and it is not unusual for some turmoil to exist. Just as an umpire has to make a call, be bold enough to follow the direction that gives you the most peace.

The rudder on a ship can’t go any direction until the ship is moving. The ship doesn’t have to be going full steam ahead for the rudder to work, but it does have to be moving. Likewise, we have to act before the peace of God will give us perfect direction. Even if you make a mistake, you will have made it in faith, trying to follow the peace of God in your heart. The Lord can bless a wrong decision made in faith from a pure heart, more than He can bless indecision (Rom. 14:23).

A WORK IN PROGRESS

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. —2 Peter 3:18

Pablo Casals was considered to be the preeminent cellist of the first half of the 20th century. When he was still playing his cello in the middle of his tenth decade of life, a young reporter asked, “Mr. Casals, you are 95 years old and the greatest cellist that ever lived. Why do you still practice 6 hours a day?”

Mr. Casals answered, “Because I think I’m making progress.”

What a great attitude! As believers in Christ, we should never be satisfied to think we have reached some self-proclaimed pinnacle of spiritual success, but rather continue to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). Jesus reminds us in John 15:16 that He chose us to “go and bear fruit.” The result of healthy growth is continuing to bear spiritual fruit throughout our lives. Our Lord promises: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit” (v.5).

In a steady and faithful progression to become more and more like the One we love and serve, we can be confident that He who began “a good work” in us will continue it until it is finally finished on the day when He returns (Phil. 1:6).

Closer yet I’d cling, my Savior,
You’re the all-sufficient Vine;
You alone can make me fruitful,
Blessed source of strength divine.

God’s unseen work in our hearts produces fruit in our lives.

NEVER ALONE, ALWAYS CARED FOR

1 Peter 5:7 – casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

It does not matter how tightly knit our families are or how many close friends we have. When we go through a difficult time or trial, many a time, we still feel all alone and that no one really cares or understands.

Martha knew that feeling. She had on one occasion cried out to Jesus, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?” (Luke 10:40) Jesus’ disciples also knew what it was like to feel small, alone and in trouble. They cried out, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” when they were swept up in a terrifying storm. (Mark 4:38)

Today, maybe the cry of your heart is also, “Lord, do You not care that I am left all alone…that I am going under…that I am perishing?”

My friend, the Lord does care for you. He loves you so much that He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him—not just some but all your cares. He wants both your big and small cares. There is nothing too small or big for Him. If it is a care in your heart, He wants you to cast it upon Him.

When the apostle Peter wrote “casting all your care upon Him”, he was talking about the continuous act of casting all your cares upon the Lord. As a care comes, God wants you to cast it to Him. That is the lifestyle He wants you to adopt. Why? The verse gives us the reason—“for He cares for you”. You are casting all your cares upon the One who loves you, and who left all of heaven to come and die for you. That is who you are casting your cares to. It is not just any person, but it is the One who gave His life for you!

When you are going through a difficult time, God wants you to believe that you are never alone because He Himself has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) As the object of His care, He will take care of you for the rest of your life. You are never alone and always cared for!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY :

You are never alone because God Himself has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you.

MIND MANAGEMENT (2) :

‘Fight to capture every thought until it acknowledges the authority of Christ.’ – 2 Corinthians 10:5 PHPS

Be careful what you allow into your mind, because your thoughts run your life. You say, ‘But thoughts come at me every day from all directions: at home, at work, through the media, in my relationships and in my private world. How can I manage my mind successfully?’ The answer’s surprisingly simple. You can be transformed by making this one decision: I will submit my thoughts to the authority of Jesus. It’s easy to overlook the significance of Christ’s claim: ‘All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to Me.’ (Matthew 28:18 NIV) Jesus controls everything in Heaven and on earth. That means He has the final say on everything—including your thoughts. He has more authority, for example, than your parents. Your parents may have told you you’re worthless, but Jesus says you’re valuable, and He has authority over your parents. He even has more authority over you than you do. You may tell yourself you’re too bad to be forgiven, but Jesus has a different opinion. And when you repent and submit to His authority over your life, those old condemning thoughts are no longer allowed. Jesus also has authority over your ideas. Suppose, for example, you get an idea about robbing a grocery store. Jesus has already made it clear that stealing is wrong, and if you’ve submitted to His authority over your mind then the idea of stealing can’t linger in your mind. To manage your mind successfully, all you have to do is submit your thoughts to the authority of Christ. Will it happen overnight? No, but with practice and commitment you’ll get better at it.

GOD IS ALWAYS ON A MISSION OF HOPE, HEALING, RESTORATION & LOVE ….

One of the most quoted Psalms is Psalm 23 which begins, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul…” What a beautiful picture this paints of us walking with God in beautiful, lush, fragrant pastures. It is a picture of peace, security and contentment. But then, the very next verse talks about very different surroundings. In a seemingly abrupt transition, verse four reads, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

How in the world did we go from green pastures to the valley of the shadow of death in a single verse?

You know, sometimes life is like that. Unexpected circumstances, tragedy and trials take us from one place in life to another in an instant. But no matter where we are in life, no matter what has happened, God is still there. When we look to Him, we don’t have to fear. He always brings peace. He always brings comfort. And notice that it says, “Though I walk through…” It doesn’t say, “Though I end up in the valley of the shadow of death.” We have to remember that the dark times don’t last. We don’t have to live in the valley of the shadow of death; we are just passing through.

Sometimes, when circumstances are so overwhelming, we can begin to feel stuck and limited. If you feel that way today, let this truth sink down into your heart: you are never stuck in the valley. He is leading you to a place of safety and rest. There may be seasons of uncertainty, but that’s when trust kicks in. There may a season of mourning, but God is near to the brokenhearted. He is near to all who call on His name. Lift your eyes to Him, focus on His goodness, and let faith rise up in your heart again. Know that God is good. He is not the author of confusion but of peace. John 10:10 tells us that the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, but Jesus came to give us everlasting and abundant life. God is always on a mission of hope, healing and restoration—a mission of love.

Today, I encourage you to turn your thoughts to the Father. Ask Him to show you His love in a fresh, new way. Get a picture of Him standing before you with His arms stretched toward you, ready to lead you through the valley to the place of peace, rest and victory.

LOVE

ARE YOU A SOUNDING BRASS OR A CLANGING CYMBAL AND HAVE IGNORED THE TRUTH THAT LOVE DOESN’T SEEK ITS OWN   IS NOT PROVOKED, THINKS NO EVIL? YES THE GREATEST IS LOVE!

1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

LOVE

ABWHAT LOVE IS

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8

Years ago I asked a young man who was engaged to be married, “How do you know that you love her?” It was a loaded question, intended to help him look at his heart’s motives for the upcoming marriage. After several thoughtful moments, he responded, “I know I love her because I want to spend the rest of my life making her happy.”

We discussed what that meant—and the price tag attached to the selflessness of constantly seeking the best for the other person, rather than putting ourselves first. Real love has a lot to do with sacrifice.

That idea is in line with the wisdom of the Bible. In the Scriptures there are several Greek words for love but the highest form is agape love—love that is defined and driven by self-sacrifice. Nowhere is this more true than in the love our heavenly Father has shown us in Christ. We are deeply valued by Him. Paul stated, “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom. 5:8).

If sacrifice is the true measure of love, there could be no more precious gift than Jesus: “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son” (John 3:16NLT).

Amazing love!
How can it be
That Thou, my God,
Shouldst die for me?

The measure of love is what you are willing to give up for it

HE IS THE GOD OF YOUR VALLEYS TOO

1 Kings 20:23 – Then the servants of the king of Syria said to him, Their gods are gods of the hills. Therefore they were stronger than we; but if we fight against them in the plain, surely we will be stronger than they.

In 1 Kings 20, we find the Syrians being defeated by the Israelites. Then, some of the Syrian kings advisers gave the king what they thought was the reason for their defeat. They said that they had fought on the hills and lost because Israels God is the God of the hills. So if they were to fight the Israelites on the plains or in the valleys, they would win.

What stupid advice! They thought that the God of Israel only helped His people up in the hills and mountains, and not down in the valleys.

Now, mountains refer to our good times, and valleys, our bad times. Some people have this idea that God is the God of our good times, but He is not there when we are going through bad times. They think that He leaves us helpless in the valleys, especially when the troubles are of our own making.

My friend, I want you to know that our God is the God of the mountains, but He is also the God of the valleys!

God the Son laid aside His crown of glory, His royal majesty and came down for us, stepping into a human body as a baby. He came down to where we were for the sole purpose of dying on the cross for our sins, so that He could bring us up to what God the Father has for us at His right hand. Jesus came down to crown us with glory and honor, to clothe us with robes of righteousness and make us His bride, sharing everything that He has with us. That is the grace of God. He came down to our valley.

So whatever you are going through right now, know that God is right there in your valley with you. He is holding you in His arms and carrying you through the valley. Victory is already yours. Just as the Israelites were also victorious in the valley (1 Kings 20:2829), so will you be because the God of the valleys is right there with you!

THREE ALL-IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

‘So be careful how you live… Make the most of every opportunity…’ Ephesians 5:15-16 NLT

Following a plan is like using a GPS device (Global Positioning System). If it knows where you are, you tell it where you want to go, and it creates a personalised road map. The difference between a GPS and you is you have to create all your own turn–by–turn directions. Mark Twain said, ‘The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting the first one.’ To reach your destination you must ask yourself three questions:

(1) What’s my present position? It’s impossible to ignore the reality of where you are right now and still be successful. The former CEO of General Electric observed, ‘Strategic management is trying to understand where you will sit in tomorrow’s world, not where you hope to sit; it’s assessing where you want to be, and where you can be.’

(2) What’s my desired destination? Write down what your dream will look like when you’ve achieved it. Henry J. Kaiser, founder of Kaiser–Permanente health care system, said, ‘The evidence is overwhelming that you cannot begin to achieve your best unless you have some aim in life.’

(3)What are the in–between steps? Don’t expect them to be quick or easy. Creativity is messy. It’s far from an exact science. But unless you know where you want to go and identify the steps that will get you there, ten years from now you’ll still be where you are today. So the word for you today is: Make the most of every opportunity.’

OVERCOME WITH GOOD :

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. – Romans 12:21, NIV

The scripture says, “We overcome evil with good.” In other words, when somebody’s rude or inconsiderate, don’t sink down to their level. Don’t be rude and inconsiderate back to them. No, if you are going to rise higher, if you are going to overcome, you have to do just the opposite. You have to show kindness, grace and mercy. It isn’t always easy; in fact, it’s almost never easy. It takes a lot of humility to treat someone with respect who is disrespecting you. But do you know what happens when you walk in humility? God gives you His grace. He empowers you to walk in His goodness. Scripture plainly says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Today, walk humbly with God and overcome evil with good. Show mercy and sow mercy. Receive His grace, receive His power, and receive His strength to be everything He’s called you to be.

REJOICE IN THE LORD – ALWAYS

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

The world experiences joy and happiness in direct proportion to their circumstances. Bad circumstances produce depression and sorrow, while good circumstances produce joy and peace. That’s bondage, and does not have to be the case for a Christian. Our joy is not dependent on things, but rather on the person of Jesus Christ. He is our peace and joy.

The way we take advantage of this joy and peace in the midst of tribulation, is to have our minds and hearts stayed on things above and not on things of this earth. The invisible things of God are eternal while the visible problems on earth are only temporary. All the problems of this life grow very dim when we compare them to the glory of God that is ours through Jesus.

We can rejoice in the Lord always (Phil. 4:4) because rejoicing is an action, not a reaction to our environment. Joy is a gift from God that was given to us at salvation. It was placed within our born-again spirit and it doesn’t fluctuate or diminish; it is constant. The Lord has put the joy inside us and we are to “work it out” by choosing to obey this command in scripture.

We are commanded to rejoice “IN THE LORD.” Many people are not experiencing true joy because their joy is in their circumstances. That is, they are waiting to rejoice when things in their lives are going good, and that doesn’t happen very often. We are suppose to “rejoice in the Lord always.”

That means we are suppose to rejoice in who the Lord is and what He has done for us. He never changes (Heb. 13:8) and His mercies and compassions are new every morning (Lam. 3:22-23).

 THE SPIRIT OF SONSHIP

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, “Abba, Father.” – Romans 8:15, NIV

The Spirit of sonship which we have received from God is the Spirit by which we cry, “Abba, Father.” Have you ever cried to God like He is your Daddy? Yes, He is El Shaddai. He is Elohim. But in the new covenant He is Daddy! The Holy Spirit put the Aramaic word “Abba” there, which means “Daddy” or “Papa” in English, and didn’t have it translated because He wants us to know that God is not a distant,
impersonal being, but a close and intimate Daddy! That is the Spirit of sonship.
My friend, when you pray, learn to say, “Dear Daddy God…” Forget the formalities and traditions of man. Just call Him “Daddy”, and sense His closeness to you. You can bring all your cares, worries and anxieties to Him, knowing that the all-powerful King of the universe is your Daddy!

At the cross, Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46). For the first time, He addressed His Father as “God.” He experienced distance—in fact, a cutting-off—from the Father because He was carrying all our sins upon Himself. Why? So that you and I can experience closeness and intimacy with the Father, and cry out “Daddy!” from our hearts.

A child who cries “Daddy!” belongs in his daddy’s embrace. So when we cry out, “Daddy God!” we take our place as His beloved children, and find our strong and loving Daddy rushing in to embrace, protect and deliver us!

TRUE CHRISTIANS DON’T LASH OUT AT OTHERS

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

When a Christian lashes out at others to hurt them they are not walking in love. They are walking in hurt and bitterness and need healing and deliverance. God’s word tell us that the person who is lashing out has real serious problems and will not see the Lord but hell

Acts 8;20 But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
21 You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.
22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
23 For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

Romans 3:12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
13 ” Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit”; ” The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 ” Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
15 ” Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17 And the way of peace they have not known.”
18 ” There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.
17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

KNOWLEDGE VS LOVE

BC

KNOWLEDGE PUFFS UP, BUT LOVE EDIFIES

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

1 Corinthians 12″8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,

1 Corinthians 13
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

The signs of a true  man of God is not only that God confirms his preaching with miracles, signs and wonders folowing but that he is walking in love and has come to serve not to lead! Many deceived ones think because they have knowledge devoid of the wisdom that comes from above, they are now qualified to be leaders. But the word of God tells us that knowledge alone is not sufficient to be a man of God and other things have to be added to it:

James 3:13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

2 Peter 1:5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Matthew 23: Woe to the Scribes and Pharisees
1    Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples,
2    saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat.
3    Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.
4    For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5    But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.
6    They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues,
7    greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’
8    But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.
9    Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.
10    And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.
11    But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.

LOVE

DCGod Is Love

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.  Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.  By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.  But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?  My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:14-18

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;  does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;  does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.  For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 1 Corinthians 13:4-9

Love is demonstrated by action and not by words alone. So many Christians use the word “love” so flippantly and say “we love you!” But they demonstrate no action to back up their words and they love you as long as you do what they want or agree with whatever they are espousing!

But God demonstrated His unconditional love for people by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ, and His wonderful Holy Spirit to those who responded to His love!  God did just say “I love you” but He demonstrated by His sacrificial giving! We know love, because Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren otherwise we are not brethren but sons of disobedience.

Christians who have this world’s goods when they see their brother in need, they don’t shut up their heart from him, demonstrating that the love of God abides in them. They love not in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And those so called Christians who don’t love their brethren in deed and in truth abide in death.

Yes, whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. Unfortunately for them most so called professing Christians are not Christians and they have proved it by not being full of God’s love and demonstrating God’s love in deed and in truth! God has called His people to walk in love and understanding. He wants them to be unified and in agreement because that is when they are most effective for the kingdom. But the enemy stirs up strife and confusion through foolish words from an uncontrolled tongue. God’s word is unchanging:

An ungodly man digs up evil,  And it is on his lips like a burning fire.  A perverse man sows strife,  And a whisperer separates the best of friends.  Proverbs 16:27-28

Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.  Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.   Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.  For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:10-18

Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.  1 Peter 3:7

Yes divisions including between a man and wife hinder our prayers when we don’t walk in love and understanding. Our prayers are answered when we walk in the power of agreement and unity.   We are called  to walk worthy of our calling with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We are called to balance the gift of the Spirit with the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. God’s word is unchanging:

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.  And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:19-26

Yes, the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,  idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, self-control,  And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, we must also walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh!

God has never planned nor intended that the gifts and fruit of the Spirit lay dormant in the lives of His people. When He gave them His only begotten Son, Jesus, and His wonderful counselor the Holy Spirit, He had planned that they would walk in love and adorn their lives with the single fruit of the Spirit including love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. He had willed that they should be ‘filled with the fruits of righteousness’ (Philippians 1:11). They should be ‘neither barren nor unfruitful’ (2 Peter 1:8). “For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.” (Ephesians 5:9)

God has given His people the fruits of the Spirit only with a view to fill us with the qualities of goodness, righteousness and truth. The gifts of the Spirit and the fruits are to go hand in hand together with love being the unifying force because God’s word is unchanging:

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18

“Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” Ephesians 1:4

“Let love be without hypocrisy.” Romans 12:9

“Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith.”1 Timothy 1:5

Yes, the fruits of the Spirit come from love born out of a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith. That is why God works on us to develop in us a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith so that the great fountain of Love will spring in us, only if Love is genuinely born in our hearts, the fruits of the Spirit will emerge in us. A man with mere ‘Gifts’ is not an effective man. Only with two wings can a bird fly; the loss of even a single wing will hamper its flight.[ii]

We are not perfect if Gifts and Fruits don’t work together in unison in our Spiritual life. We need to allow ‘love’ to flow from our minds by the power and anointing of the Spirit. We need to continually walk and live in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  Yes we need for God to fill us with His Spiritual ‘Gifts’ and decorate us with the ‘Fruits’ so we can minister by the Spirit to a lost, hurt, and dying humanity that is need of the demonstration of God’s power. God’s word is unchanging:

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.  And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.  And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.  For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,  that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

Yes, our Lord Jesus Christ has authority over all the evils. Many times, the devil brings sicknesses to us. He enters into our body and dwells in us. Lord Jesus Christ came into this sinful world to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). He destroyed the devil on the Cross of Calvary and overcame him. According to Philippians 2:10, “At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” God wants the might, which was in Jesus, to be in us too! When Jesus sojourned on this earth, He gave His authority to His twelve disciples and asked them to go and heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons (Matthew 10:8; Luke 9:2). As He said, they received His authority and performed miracles.

Yes, the power of God operating through a yielded vessel walking love can do in a split second that years of perspiration cannot do including healing a broken heart, removing cancer from a sick body,  giving sight to the blind, and setting free the oppressed and possessed. Yes, Our heavenly Father gives His Holy Spirit to those who ask Him (Luke 11:13). We need to pray earnestly that the Lord should grant us a mighty anointing of His Holy Spirit and help us to shine as a witness for Christ in the days to come.(Acts 1:8 & 2:17).

We can also receive God’s Spirit and do His ministry with signs and wonders.  We can come to the creator of Heaven and Earth, our Almighty God and surrender ourselves completely. We can ask Him to heal all our physical, emotional and spiritual ailments. Relieve us from all the bondages of the flesh. Fill us with His Holy Spirit in Jesus name and grant us His strength and might so that we can be a channel of blessing to others. And meet and supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Our God is an embodiment of great love and compassion. When we fear and obey Him, He will grant us rich blessings. He knows our heart’s desires and yearnings. He will fulfill all our desires. We can pour out all our cares and worries at the feet of Lord Jesus. He loves and cares for us. He intercedes for us to the Heavenly Father and meets all our needs. God will always remember us and save us from destruction.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:12-13

My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.  He only is my rock and my salvation;  He is my defense;  I shall not be moved.  In God is my salvation and my glory;  The rock of my strength,  And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people;  Pour out your heart before Him;  God is a refuge for us. Selah Psalm 62:5-8

DELIVERANCE IS FOR TODAY

AFDELIVERANCE IS FOR TODAY

Demonic oppression “is reality in other parts of the world,” Horrell says, “and I’m quite convinced it’s reality here. And there are probably many in our psych hospitals who are medicated to suppress what appear to be the outcroppings of possession, and the spiritual dimension is never addressed. It’s just never even looked at.”      THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM IS: explains why you’ll seldom hear mention of the demonic in American churches today. “Because we are rationalists, we are of the Enlightenment,” he says. One well-known Christian authority went so far as to tell Horrell, “I’ve never seen a demon possession that a pill could not cure.” But Horrell observed otherwise during 18 years of ministry and teaching  Larry concluded that deliverance was the answer—the expulsion of oppressive spiritual forces through commanding prayer. Demons, after all, were agents of Satan tasked with doing his dirty work until Jesus returned. If God had a good plan for that young man’s life, didn’t it stand to reason that the devil had an evil scheme to counter it?

YES, THE DEVIL KNOWS MORE ABOUT A PERSON THAN THEY DO OFTEN TIMES.  YES, HIS WHOLE EVIL SCHEME IS TO DISTRACT AND DESTROY GOD’S DIVINE PLAN, PURPOSE AND HIGH CALLING ON A PERSON’S LIFE!

GENERATIONAL CURSES ARE REAL OR VALID IN A CHRISTIAN’S LIFE.   Because these generational curses are so common, the Pollards ask clients to fill out detailed questionnaires that resemble a medical history—based on spiritual, emotional, and physical afflictions evident in the family line. They are grouped together in categories: fear and rejection, for example. Beneath that heading, one can check abandonment, loneliness, withdrawal, competitiveness, possessiveness, and many others; checking numerous boxes indicates a spiritual “stronghold” of fear and rejection. Other categories include lust/sex/idolatry, unforgiveness, and occult/divination. Larry scores the different categories, and a road map emerges for demonic intrusions in that individual and his family.

“So that stuff is carried on down the line,” Larry says, “and now it’s your turn to get born, and you’re handed this welcome package.” Many of the Pollards’ clients are Christians who got “stuck” in their faith. That “welcome package” has come back to bite them, and the energy and optimism of youth no longer outweigh the pile of spiritual and emotional crud they’ve acquired over the years.

HOW MANY CHRISTIANS WALK AROUND TODAY WITH THE VERY SAME ILLNESSES THAT MANY IN THEIR FAMILY TREE FROM GENERATIONS BEFORE THEM.  THEY JUST “ACCEPT” THEM AS HEREDITARY!!!  EVEN MEDICAL DOCTORS KNOW THIS TRUTH, THAT IS WHY THEY ASK US FOR OUR FAMILY’S MEDICAL HISTORY IN THEIR QUESTIONNAIRE BEFORE THEY EVER EVEN SEE U FOR THE FIRST TIME!!   NO, AS BLOOD BOUGHT CHRISTIANS OF JESUS CHRIST, WE DO NOT “ACCEPT” ANY CURSE.  BUT, WE MUST RENOUNCE AND REJECT EVERY CURSE IN FAITH AND BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS.  YES, JESUS WANT US HEALED, AND DELIVERED…..SET FREE.  YES, HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVE FREE INDEED.  BUT, WE MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE CAPTIVES AND NO LONGER STUFF IT AND CARRY IT AROUND ALL OUR LIVES AND ASK JESUS TO BE SET FREE.  WE LIVE OUR LIVES IN CHAINS NEVER KNOWING WE HAVE THE KEY.  BUT, WE MUST USE THE KEY TO OPEN THE DOOR TO FREEDOM!!

“Oh,” Marion concluded, “we need to break those soul ties.”

Now, I’d heard this term tossed around in Christian circles, but no one had ever defined it. Marion explained the concept: we form righteous soul ties in certain relationships, such as the bond between a husband and wife, or a parent and child, or dear friends. Yet sometimes, because of the broken spaces in our souls, we form ties that veer into the demonic—say, in a sinful sexual relationship, or in a friendship that becomes controlling.

WOW!!  LOOK AT THAT?? IT CAN EVEN BE CLOSE FRIENDSHIP WITH “CONTROLLING PEEP”???  VERY INTERESTING??  THERE ARE MANY CONTROLLING PEEPS IN THE CHURCH CIRCLES IN 2014.

Marion offered to pray right then and there; I accepted. She prayed to break those bonds that weren’t right, at one point brandishing a Bible and tapping me on the wrists and upper chest, symbolizing the hands and heart. At the end of her prayer, she began singing in a high-pitched voice. I heard no discernible words; she called it “singing in the Spirit.”

SHE WAS PRAYING IN THE GIFT OF TONGUES….SINGING GOD’S PRAYERS OVER HIM!!  SWEET….  AMEN AND AMEN   PTL

Healings happen as unintended consequences of deliverance all the time, they say. They claim to have seen instances in which epilepsy and cancer have disappeared, among other conditions of body and soul.

MANY REJECT “THE HOLY SPIRIT” AS THEY DO NOT ACCEPT THAT THESE THINGS ARE REAL AND JESUS WANTS TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE INDEED. REMEMBER THE GUY AT THE TEMPLE WHEN JESUS WAS THERE AND JESUS JUST WALKED OVER AND CAST THE DEMON OUTTA THE GUY WITHOUT SKIPPING A BEAT AND THEN JUST KEPT ON WITH HIS TEACHING. IT WAS AN AUTOMATIC THING FOR JESUS AND THE DISCIPLES. SO, WHY IS IT THAT THE CHURCH IN 2014 THINKS THEY ARE SO HIGH AND MIGHTY AND THEY ABOVE DELIVERANCE???

IF IT IS WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR JESUS AND HIS DISCIPLES. IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR KAREN. NOT TO MENTION THE DEMONIC SINFUL WORLD WE LIVE IN 2014 DEMONS ARE RUNNING FREELY IN A LOT OF PEEPS AND FAMILIES????

YES, SO CALLED CHRISTIANS? YOU AND I KNOW MANY CHRISTIANS THAT KEEP FALLING INTO THE SAME DITCH ALL THEIR LIVES? THEY JUST STUFF EVERYTHING DOWN AND WALK AROUND LIKE EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE FINE FINE!

THE BOTTOM LINE, IS THAT JESUS “NEVER” LEAVES U THE SAME WAY HE FOUND YOU!!!! YES, U HAVE TO “MAKE ROOM FOR HIM AND THE HOLY SPIRIT”….. WHEN YOU ARE CONTROLLED BY DEMONS THEIR IS NO ROOM FOR JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT TO DO GOD’S WILL FOR YOU.

ALSO, THEY NEED TO REJECT AND RENOUNCE THE DEMONS INSTEAD OF REJECTING AND GRIEVING THE HOLY SPIRIT.

JUST LIKE MANY CHRISTIANS DO NOT UNDERSTAND AND REJECT THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GOD’S SPIRITUAL GIFT OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES OR ALL THE REST OF GOD’S SPIRITUAL GIFTS. THEY DO THE SAME WITH DELIVERANCE.

THE DEVIL HAS CONVINCED CHRISTIANS THAT “NONE” OF THE ABOVE IS VALID OR NECESSARY ANYMORE???? WRONG…. WAY WRONG!!

JOEL OSTEEN IS NOT A TRUE MAN OF GOD

SO IF JOEL OSTEEN IS A TRUE MAN OF GOD, HOW COME GOD DOESN’T CONFIRM HIS WORD WITH MIRACLES SIGNS AND WONDERS LIKE HE DID FOR A LAYMAN STEPHEN?

ACTS 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.
6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city

SO WHERE ARE THE LAME AND PARALYZED HEALED IN LAKEWOOD RELIGIOUS MEETINGS? NONEXISTENT!.

http://www.charismanews.com/us/44263-joel-osteen-defends-stance-on-hot-button-issues-this-is-just-who-i-am

True believers in Christ, Christians, walk in Holy Ghost power that gives proof of the resurrection. This is way more than quoting a bible scripture, teaching a nice Sunday school class or sharing with a friend at the coffee shop. Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father” (John 14:12).

Before a person can receive the benefits of salvation they need to know what belongs to them. This is confirmed in the scripture, “Faith cometh for by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). Once you know what belongs to you then all you need to do is receive it. That goes as much for deliverance from unclean spirits as it does for physical healing. The Apostle Paul wrote that he prayed for believers to come to the place where they knew what belonged to them in Christ. Today we could call those the benefits of salvation. He wrote,

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.” (Ephesians 1:17-22)

A REMNANT

Jesus made sure that his disciples were of use to the Kingdom, not just temple sitters like many church folk are doing today. Jesus knew that it wouldn’t be enough he made sure that His disciples had a more of a Kingdom experience than just having temple experience. Peter knew that from his training that Gods power (Anointing ) wasn’t limited just to the temple, for Peter said, Silver a…nd gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk Acts 3:6.

When church folk realize that they are a container for Gods glory ready to be released to bring healing and victory to those that have no hope. As a result of the apostles’ work, sick people were brought out into the streets on beds and mats so that Peter’s shadow might fall across some of them as he went by Acts 5:15. The world wants church folk to stay in the ( Closet ) I mean the church and not come out, we must remember Jesus said to. Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled Luke 14:23.

But God has a remnant that is heading Gods call that have been equipped to demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, and not making excuse, but moving boldly in all that God has called them to do and getting kingdom results

LOVE

A2LOVE IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE

1 Corinthians 13: 1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Many so called bible believing Christians, who are devoid of power, truth and love, ignorantly love to talk about the importance of love, not understanding that without the power and person of the Holy Spirit they don’t have the ability to love people or to demonstrate by miracles, signs and wonders just like Jesus, Peter and Philip did:

Acts 3: 1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.
4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”
5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them — walking, leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Acts 8: 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.

Acts 10: 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23    gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24    And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Since love and faith are the fruit of the Spirit, those who reject and grieve the Holy Spirit don’t have and show real love or faith like Jesus, Philip and Peter did even though Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!

These blind ones or clanging cymbals  also conveniently ignore the fact that 1 Corinthians 13 is part of 1 Corinthians 12 and 14 and no separate from it and Apostle Paul clearly stated:
1 Corinthians 14:1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

Spiritual gifts are not an option for a true Christian but are to be desired and manifested by them since God’s word instructs us:
1 Corinthians 12: 4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8 for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Yes God has appointed spiritual gifts in His church as long as His church remains on earth and without love the gifts of the Spirit don’t operate properly or have no value! And that is why apostle Paul instructed us “now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” Faith working through love results in spiritual gifts being manifested by God’s true ones and giving profit and hope to many! God’s word is unchanging:

Galatians 5:13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

RUN

HIDING IN THE RIGHT PLACE :

“In the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock” – (Psalm 27:5, NIV)

Have you ever watched children play hide and seek? They look for the best place to hide in the house or yard and wait quietly for their friend to try to find them. It’s a fun game for kids, but even as adults, we need a good place to hide from time to time. Sometimes we need a place of refuge, a place of safety, a place to rest when we feel overwhelmed by the circumstances of life; a place where the enemy of our soul can never find us.

The good news is that God has the perfect hiding place for you! You don’t have to hide in your job. You don’t have to hide in relationships. You don’t have to hide in food or addictions because God Himself promises to hide you! He freely offers you shelter from the storms of life any time you call on His name.

Remember, there’s only one place the enemy cannot find you. There’s only one place where opposition cannot steal from you. There’s only one true place of safety and rest for your soul, and that is in the arms of Jesus. Know that He loves you, and He is ready to receive you when you call on His name!

RUN WITH GOD’S COUNSEL

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. – Psalm 1:1–2

In today’s scripture, we see the psalmist describing the habits of a man that cause him to be blessed by the Lord. Notice how the blessed man “walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.”

This means that the blessed man doesn’t depend on the advice of “experts” who are independent of and don’t honor God. Neither does he follow those who plot the downfall of others in order to prosper. And he doesn’t participate in cynical coffee shop talk! The man who does these things then is someone who doesn’t trust the Lord but fallible man and self. And he doesn’t meditate on God’s ways, but the ways of the world.

Beloved, don’t choose this path. Choose instead to trust wholeheartedly in Jesus by meditating day and night on His Word and His ways. And it will be a matter of time before you experience His blessings and success in all that you do!

WORRY (2)

‘…I tell you not to worry about everyday life…’ Matthew 6:25 NLT

Jesus said, ‘Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life…’ (Matthew 6:25AMP) Now, the Lord is not condemning you for having a legitimate concern about your responsibilities. No, what He’s condemning is having a mindset that keeps leaving Him out of the equation, or turning to Him only as a last resort. Destructive anxiety subtracts God from the future, faces uncertainties with no faith, tallies up the challenges of today and tomorrow, and forgets to include God’s promises and His faithfulness.

Jesus told His disciples, ‘I tell you not to worry about everyday life – whether you have enough.’ Note the words ‘whether you have enough’. That’s what we worry about, isn’t it? Shortfalls, sickness, redundancies, economic downturns. Faced with the feeding of 5,000 people, the disciples had the same worry. Philip did an audit: ‘…Eight months’ wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!’ (John 6:7 NIV) How do you suppose Jesus felt in that moment? Standing next to them was the solution to their problems, but they didn’t go to Him until their backs were to the wall and they had no answers. In their hands five loaves and two fishes looked like nothing. Yet in His hands it was more than enough to feed the multitude and solve their problem. As the bread kept multiplying, surely they must each have come to the point where they said, ‘Lord, why did I ever doubt You?’

Let your problems drive you into the arms of Jesus. And when you get there, stay there!

THE SURE SYMBOL OF GOD’S LOVE :

ROMANS 5:8 – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Imagine this scenario: Your car tire blows and you are late for work. At the office, you find out that someone else got the promotion you had been hoping for. Then, you receive a call from home informing you that your kitchen pipes are leaking again. Before long, you hear a voice telling you, “If God loves you so much, how come all these things are happening to you?”

Perhaps you are asking the same question today and wondering if God really loves you. Well, I want you to know that you must never judge God’s love for you based on your circumstances. No, look at the cross instead! The cross is the sure symbol of God’s love for you. It is at the cross that “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.

A teenager learnt that the cross indeed spoke of how much God loves her. At one point in her life, she was contemplating suicide as the only way out of her loveless, messed-up life. She had intended to take some pills with a lethal dose of alcohol. She was all ready to die when she started clicking aimlessly on some MP3 songs on the Internet. And of all the songs that were on her screen, she picked a beautiful song written by one of our church musicians.

The lyrics of the song, sung by one of our church vocalists, spoke of being held by God’s love and being treasured in His sight. They touched this teenager. Sensing that an awesome God with His amazing love was reaching out to her, she abandoned her plan to kill herself. Not long after that, she found our church and even met the person who had sung the song. She eventually came to know how much God loves her and how He has demonstrated His love for her through the cross.

Beloved, when you look at your life and find yourself wondering if God really loves you, look to the cross and see God’s outstretched arms. It will remind and reassure you of how much He loves you!

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SAYING?

Death and life are in the power of the tongue… – Proverbs 18:21

Many things in life can cause us to fear — losing our jobs, deadly diseases, terrorist attacks and so on. When these things confront us, we tend to give in to worry and fear, and start talking about our fears.

Job was no different. He constantly feared that God would punish him and his family because he kept thinking that his sons had sinned against God. He would get up early in the morning to offer burnt sacrifices, saying, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” And the Bible tells us that he did this “regularly”. (Job 1:5)

So Job kept confessing the sins of his sons and fearing that something terrible would happen to him and his family. In fact, his sin-consciousness didn’t just produce fear, the Bible tells us that he “greatly feared”. (Job 3:25)

It is important that we understand that it was Job’s sin-consciousness that opened the door to Satan. His preoccupation with sins that his family may have committed gave Satan the opportunity to bring death and destruction into his life. God had a hedge of protection around Job. But when he started being sin-conscious and having a fearful expectation of judgment, the hedge was removed and Satan could attack him. (Job 1:9–12)

My friend, today, if you have sinned, don’t say, “I have failed again. I deserve to be punished by God.” Know that you already have forgiveness of sins because Jesus was punished and condemned in your place! (Ephesians 1:7) So say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Jesus, You are my holiness and perfection.” (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

We must be mindful of what we believe and say regularly because “death and life are in the power of the tongue”. So when you hear of a deadly virus taking many lives, don’t say, “I’m next because I have not been a good Christian!” Instead, say, “Jesus, You are my righteousness and protection. Surely You shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence!” (Psalm 91:3)

Beloved, such believing and confessing not only please God, but they also shut the door on Satan so that he cannot make any inroad into your life!

Thought For The Day :

Be mindful of what you believe and say regularly because death and life are in the power of the tongue.

HE USES THE USABLE :

John 2:24, “But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all [men].”

This was the first time Jesus had ministered in Jerusalem. Multitudes believed on Him when they saw the miracles He performed (v. 23). This looked like a perfect opportunity for Jesus to take these people and use them to spread the news far and wide that He was the Christ. Instead Jesus did just the opposite. He didn’t want people proclaiming His gospel in their own ability.

This reveals an attitude of Jesus which is lacking among many Christians today. Jesus is more concerned with the quality of ministry than the quantity of ministry. In contrast, today’s Christians often feel that “the end justifies the means.”

We take new converts and place them in leadership–which is directly opposed to the Bible’s instructions (1 Tim. 3:6). Many times movie stars or other famous people who have come to the Lord are made spokesmen for the Christian faith. This works to the harm of these people and the Body of Christ as a whole.

Some of you can’t understand why the Lord hasn’t used you, but rest assured the Lord is using everyone who is usable. Instead of looking at the need and begging God to use you, take a hard look at yourself and ask the Lord to make you usable

RESOLVE TO RESOLVE

Resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way. —Romans 14:13

I haven’t made any New Year’s resolutions since 1975. I haven’t needed any new ones—I’m still working on old ones like these: write at least a short note in my journal every day; make a strong effort to read my Bible and pray each day; organize my time; try to keep my room clean (this was before I had a whole house to keep clean).

This year, however, I am adding a new resolution that I found in Paul’s letter to the Romans: “Let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way” (14:13). Although this resolution is old (about 2,000 years), it is one that we should renew annually. Like believers in Rome centuries ago, believers today sometimes make up rules for others to follow and insist on adherence to certain behaviors and beliefs that the Bible says little or nothing about. These “stumbling blocks” make it difficult for followers of Jesus to continue in the way of faith that He came to show us—that salvation is by grace not works (Gal. 2:16). It requires only that we trust in His death and resurrection for forgiveness.

We can celebrate this good news of Christ in the coming year by resolving not to set up hurdles that cause people to stumble.

Thank You, Lord, that You sent the Holy Spirit to do the work of convincing and convicting. May I be content with my own assignment: to do what leads to peace and edification.

Faith is the hand that receives God’s gift, then faith is the feet that walk with God.

You Don’t Get to Choose Who You Love

But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.” (Luke 6:32,35)

God is light. God is good. God is love. And He loves the world through us; however, we cannot just be the conduit for His love. We must also show love.

When the Bible says that God is light, it also tells us that we are the light. (1 John 1:5; Matt. 5:14.) In fact, Jesus said it-that we, as Christians, are the light of the world; and He said that we should let our light shine in such a way that the world would glorify God. (Matt. 5:16.) So, God is light and we are light.

Something else the Bible also tells us that God is good. (Ps. 100:5; Matt. 19:17.) When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God caused His goodness to pass by. (Ex. 33:18-21.) God’s glory is His goodness.

We’re also told in the Bible that God is love. (1 John 4:8.) God loved the world so much that He sent Jesus. (John 3:16.) He gave of Himself while we were still in our sin. (Rom. 5:8.) And Ephesians 5:1 says that we are to imitate God. We should be able to imitate God because we have been created in His likeness and in His image and we have been given His Spirit to live inside of us to help us do what we can’t do on our own. God is love and we can be like Him.

Now don’t take me wrong. I am not saying that we are God. What I am saying is this. The very essence of God is love and if we were created in His image and in His likeness (Gen. 1:26) and if we are to be like Him as we are commanded to be in Ephesians 5:1, then we need to actually be love as He is love.

Love must be in our heart. Love must be in our mind. And even if we are cut (or hurt by others), we must bleed love.

LOVE

AE
IT’S NOT ONE OR THE OTHER? IT’S BOTH

1 Corinthians 14: 1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.

God’s Will Is Liberty

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. – 2 Corinthians 3:17

Liberty. If you could put the will of God into one word, that would be the word. God wants people to be free. Free from sin, sickness, poverty, oppression and every other curse.

That freedom is what Jesus came to provide. He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor…to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised” (Luke 4:18). That’s what He trained His disciples to do. And if you’re a born-again believer, that’s what He wants you to do too!

Some people say, “Well, I don’t know about that. That may not be God’s will for today.”

But listen, the Bible says God never changes. He hasn’t changed His will for the earth. He doesn’t do one thing awhile and then go do another thing awhile. Jesus’ life was a perfect picture of God’s will 2,000 years ago– and it still is! That’s why He left instructions for us to go and do the works that He did. That’s why He sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to do them.

Jesus still wants to do the will of the Father here on earth–but He does it through us. He has to work with us until we’re willing to lay down our traditions and let Him do His thing. That’s what the early Church did. They started out with a bang because they did as Jesus taught them. Everywhere they went people became free.

Let’s pray for the Church of today to deliver the liberty of God to the world. Let’s quit questioning the will of God and start carrying it out instead. He said the works that He did we would do also and even greater works (John 14:12). It’s time for us to take up where Jesus left off and set the captives free!

AAJESUS TOLD US TO JUDGE WITH RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT{ JOHN 7:24 } AND ALSO, HE WHO IS SPIRITUAL JUDGES ALL THINGS, YET HE HIMSELF IS RIGHTLY JUDGED BY NO ONE{ 1 CORINTHIANS 2:15 } MANY SAY, LET GOD BE THE JUDGE FOR IT IS NOT OUR PLACE TO JUDGE. TO THEM THAT DO NOT UNDERSTAND, IT IS THE WORD OF GOD THAT JUDGES US, BECAUSE GOD IS THE WORD, FOR IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD{ JESUS } AND THE WORD{ JESUS } WAS WITH GOD. AND THE WORD{ JESUS } WAS GOD{ JOHN 1:1 }

THE PROBLEM WITH MANY IS THAT THEY REJECT GOD’S WORD IF IT DOESN’T FIT THEIR LIFESTYLE, AND ACCUSE THOSE WHO PREACH THE TRUE WORD OF GOD AS BEING JUDGMENTAL AND CONDEMNING. BUT THAT’S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE TRUTH IN THE WORD OF GOD NO LONGER LINES UP WITH WHAT THEY ARE BELIEVING AS TRUTH ACCORDING TO THEIR CHURCHES AND PASTORS TRUTH, WHICH IS NO LONGER BIBLICAL TRUTH. SO IN ESSENCE THEY ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING BIBLICAL TRUTH, BUT RATHER WHAT THEY PERCEIVE AS TRUTH ACCORDING TO THEIR PASTORS WHO ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH CHURCH GROWTH AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MULTITUDES OF SOULS BEING LOST.

MANY WILL NEVER BE CONVINCED THAT THEY ARE BEING DECEIVED BY THESE WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING BECAUSE THEY LOVE HEARING HOW BLESSED THEY ARE NO MATTER HOW THEY ARE LIVING OUTSIDE THE CHURCH. WHAT THEY FAIL TO REALIZE IS THAT THEY ARE REJECTING THE TRUTH, JESUS, AND THEY DON’T EVEN KNOW IT. JESUS SAID: HE WHO REJECTS ME, AND DOES NOT RECEIVE MY WORDS, HAS THAT WHICH JUDGES HIM, THE WORD THAT I HAVE SPOKEN WILL JUDGE HIM IN THE LAST DAYS{ JOHN 12:48 } DON’T YOU REALIZE THAT IT IS ONLY THE ONES WHO PREACH THE TRUE UNADULTERATED WORD OF GOD, ARE CONSIDERED JUDGMENTAL AND CONDEMNING? THAT IN ITSELF SHOULD SHOW US THAT MOST ARE RECEIVING AN EAR TICKLING GOSPEL THAT CATERS TO THEIR CARNAL DESIRES{ 2 TIMOTHY3-4 } TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Unchangeable Truths!

bcJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.1 John 5:1

There are two unchangeable important truths in the bible that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. The basis of our salvation is not only that God in Christ Jesus is unchangeable but If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also (1 John 4:20-21). Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him (1 John 3:15).

Those who say they are Christian and practice discrimination with a brother or prejudice to a brother need not worry about anything else in life because they are in deep trouble with God until they repent even if they speak with the tongues of men and of angels, have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, have all faith, so that they could remove mountains, bestow all their goods to feed the poor, and give their body to be burned, it profits them nothing. And nothing means nothing! As a matter of fact Jesus said about murderers:

“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:18

But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. Revelation 22:15

Yes, those who hate their brother are murderers and are no different then the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars who shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. The New Testament didn’t change God at all but it only changed how we can approach God. It also simplified the Ten Commandments to be Two Commandments:

Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. ‘And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. “And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Matthew 12:28-33

If we continually break these Two Commandments of God and until we repent and confess our sin God will not bless us For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries (Hebrews 10:26-27). God’s word is unchanging:

Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. Genesis 12:1-5

Those who hate and curse the seed of Abraham, especially Christians who have put their trust in Christ have become enemies of God, not His friends. As a result He will curse them as promised! By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. And by the same word of the Lord they are all sustained. And by the same word the blessings of the Lord or curses come to men! For His loving ones God has promised to heal them and to put all the curses on their enemies and on those who hate them. His word is unchanging:

“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you. Deuteronomy 7:15

“If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you. “Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers. “And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. “Also the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. “And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and do all His commandments which I command you today. “The LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your land for good. For the LORD will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers, “if you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 30:4-10

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

For those in whom Jesus is preeminent in their life, God able to make all grace abound toward them, that they, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. Jesus became poor on the cross so that they could be rich and abound in all the work of their hands and have great increases. Prosperity is part of the atonement and their spiritual right. They do have to live below their covenant rights and can be prosperous and successful in all things. Every weapon of Satan planned for them will turn on him and they will be more than a conqueror filled with blessings from God. All spiritual and natural blessings are theirs as inheritors of the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. God’s word is unchanging:

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-15

Yes, even this day God will perform miracles for His trusting ones. The battle belongs to the Lord! He will fight for them. He will revive their bodies again and restore all that they have lost. He who raised Lazarus from death will help them as well, as they turn their eyes towards Jesus. He will lift them up from the valley of thee shadow of death and bring them into a new and fruitful day. God’s word is unchanging:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. “I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. John 14:12-18
