No One Is Holy Like The LORD

For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:14

“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him;  He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,  Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break,  And smoking flax He will not quench;  He will bring forth justice for truth.  He will not fail nor be discouraged,  Till He has established justice in the earth;  And the coastlands shall wait for His law.” Isaiah 42:1-4

Men can be and are some times cold, callous, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; but Jesus Christ is not like that at all. He is compassionate, kind, loving, forgiving, merciful, discerning, gentle, warm and there is no searching of His understanding about all that God’s hurt and afflicted ones like Hannah are going through.  Barren, embittered and hurt Hannah was  an ordinary person with whom Eli by a prayer of agreement had made possible for a great  miracle to happen. And because God is no respecter of persons and shows partiality to no one, He will hear the prayers of his hurt and embittered ones and do great things for them just like He did for Hannah!

Although, Elkanah, the husband of Hannah, loved her very much, Peninnah his second wife, who had children, made Hannah’s life miserable because she had no children.  So whenever, Elkanah traveled from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the LORD of hosts in Shiloh, where the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD were, Hannah would weep and not eat. In the bitterness of her soul, she prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish, making a vow and saying:

“O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.”  (1 Samuel 1:11)

It’s amazing to see the Bible is a real book and it tells things as they are good or bad and the truth is not held back. So nothing is covered concerning Hannah and her problems and Eli and his problems. As Hannah continued praying before the LORD, Eli watched her and thought she was drunk. He told her to put away her wine but Hannah answered him and said:

“No, my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. “Do not consider your maidservant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.”

Then Eli answered and said, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him.”  And she said, “Let your maidservant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad. Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her. (1 Samuel 1:15-19)

Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, meaning “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” So Hannah nursed Samuel and when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, one ephah of flour and a skin of wine and brought him to the house of the LORD in Shiloh. Then, she and her husband slaughtered a bull before the Lord and presented the child to Eli saying:

“O my lord! As your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.  “For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition which I asked of Him.  “Therefore I also have lent him to the LORD; as long as he lives he shall be lent to the LORD.” So they worshiped the LORD there. (1 Samuel 1:26-28)

Then joyfully and tearfully Hannah prayed and said by the Spirit one of the most beautiful words in the Bible, that came from the heart of one who was at the uttermost part of hell and there the Lord saved and delivered her. She spoke truths that most of God’s people still don’t fully understand the importance of:

“My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. I smile at my enemies, because I rejoice in Your salvation. “No one is holy like the LORD,  For there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God. “Talk no more so very proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for the LORD is the God of knowledge; and by Him actions are weighed. “The bows of the mighty men are broken, and those who stumbled are girded with strength.  Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread, and the hungry have ceased to hunger. Even the barren has borne seven, and she who has many children has become feeble.

“The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.  The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory. “For the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and He has set the world upon them. He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken in pieces; from heaven He will thunder against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king, and exalt the horn of His anointed.” (1 Samuel 2:1-10)

There is none like the Lord who gives victories over real enemies. Who is a God of knowledge and by Him actions and not just words are weighted. He breaks the bows of mighty men. He kills and makes alive. He makes poor and makes rich. He sets the beggars among princes to inherit the throne of glory. For the pillars of the earth, righteousness, justice and truth are the LORD’S. He guards the feet of His saints and makes the wicked silent in darkness. For by strength no man shall prevail as the Lord will thunder against them. The Lord will judge the earth and exalt His anointed. Therefore, Hannah and her son Samuel were exalted in a time when the Word of God says:

Then the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; there was no widespread revelation. (1 Samuel 3:1)

As a result, Samuel didn’t sleep all night thinking of the vision the Lord gave him about Eli and he was afraid to tell him. However, in the morning Eli said to Samuel:

“What is the word that the Lord spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you.” Then Samuel told him everything, and hid nothing from him. And he said, “It is the LORD. Let Him do what seems good to Him.”

So Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been established as a prophet of the LORD. Then the LORD appeared again in Shiloh. For the LORD revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD. (1 Samuel 3:17-20)

The real deeds and wickedness of the sons of Eli had caused the Word of the Lord to dry up. For Eli was very old and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel. How they slept with the women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. He asked them:

“Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all the people. “No, my sons! For it is not a good report that I hear. You make the LORD’S people transgress. “If one man sins against another, God will judge him. But if a man sins against the LORD, who will intercede for him?” Nevertheless they did not heed the voice of their father, because the LORD desired to kill them. (1 Samuel 2:23-25)

God was waiting on His prophet Samuel who grew in stature, and in favor both with the LORD and men. He then sent a man of God who came to Eli and said to him:

“Thus says the LORD: ‘Did I not clearly reveal Myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? ‘Did I not choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer upon My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod before Me? And did I not give to the house of your father all the offerings of the children of Israel made by fire?  ‘Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?’

“Therefore the LORD God of Israel says: ‘I said indeed that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever.’ But now the LORD says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

‘Behold, the days are coming that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.  ‘And you will see an enemy in My dwelling place, despite all the good which God does for Israel. And there shall not be an old man in your house forever. ‘But any of your men whom I do not cut off from My altar shall consume your eyes and grieve your heart. And all the descendants of your house shall die in the flower of their age.

‘Now this shall be a sign to you that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them. ‘Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. (1 Samuel 2:27-35)

It’s amazing, how even prominent servants of God, failed to do what God has required of them to do in raising up their children properly. They didn’t teach them to walk in the ways of the Lord and avoid stealing from God’s people. God doesn’t forget nor does he forgive such evil behavior, unless those who did it repent and make restitution. Though, God in His wisdom and patience He delays His judgments, nevertheless, He will require man to pay for all he does wrong.

God who blesses some and destroys others blessed and prospered Samuel but then He destroyed Eli, the anointed High priest and his family. God who doesn’t change does the same things today as He did for Hannah and Samuel. He answered their prayers and gave them real victories over their enemies, who were also God’s people.  What an amazing, powerful, mighty and wise God that we serve who doesn’t do things by man’s understanding but by His own wisdom. Hannah was the fighter who overcame and Eli was the high priest and the loser who was overcome. Their ending was so different from their beginnings and yet they both worshipped the Lord. God‘s Word states:

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from there the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, who dwells between the cherubim. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. (1 Samuel 4:4)

Also the ark of God was captured; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, died. (1 Samuel 4:11)

Eli was sitting on a seat by the wayside watching, for his heart trembled for the ark of God and a man said to him:

“I am he who came from the battle. And I fled today from the battle line.” And he said, “What happened, my son?” So the messenger answered and said, “Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has been a great slaughter among the people. Also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead; and the ark of God has been captured.” hen it happened, when he made mention of the ark of God, that Eli fell off the seat backward by the side of the gate; and his neck was broken and he died, for the man was old and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years. (1 Samuel 4:16-18)

It doesn’t pay to become an enemy of God, for God will not honor those who dishonor him and those who despise Him. They shall be lightly esteemed even if they are a high priest like Eli or a king like Saul. They shall be cut off like Eli and his sons were–totally and completely. For God’s Word states:

So Solomon removed Abiathar from being priest to the LORD, that he might fulfill the word of the LORD which He spoke concerning the house of Eli at Shiloh. (1 Kings 2:27)

The foolish religious ones who created the doctrines of fundamentalism, dispensationalism, redemptionalism and other ‘schisms’ say this cannot happen today- that ‘He will not judge the false ones in the house of God?’ Why? Has God changed? Has His method of dealing with the wicked ones changed? Does He condone sin and is now tolerant of wrongs and injustices in the House of God? Obviously, the answer is No!  So God’s people should be very careful what they do in the house of God, especially to His children or else their fate is guaranteed. Just like Eli’s  they will end up in a place they never expected. In a place where unfaithful and wicked servants God are as Jesus told us:

“But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’  “and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, “the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, “and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 24:48-51)

In the days of the high priest Eli, the real Word of the LORD was rare in those days and; there was no widespread revelation of the heart and mind of God just like in America for the last forty years. When the enemies of God’s people passed foolish abortion laws and rulings and discriminated against God’s people. The real men of God had become perverse and corrupt as seen by all the prominent ones who fought over the PTL Club.

It was a time period when the gospel of half-truths, especially about prosperity and giving was preached but not the gospel of whole truths, such as responsibility, accountability, integrity and of seeking justice, righteousness and truth. A gospel that did away with Apostles and Prophets and replaced them with false ones or none at all.  A Gospel that did away with judging and judgments and only preached the half-truth of a God of love, redemption  and compassion. However, they didn’t preach a God of anger, judgment and vengeance. As every true believer will agree there has to be a balance struck between both sides of God’s truth presented in His Word. The balance between God’s blessings and provisions and God’s judgment upon disobedience.

It was a Gospel, with great emphasis on money but little emphasis on doing things for the least. A Gospel of sissies who ‘tiptoed through the tulips’ so not to offend anyone, while God’s people were being robbed, raped and even murdered by wolves in sheep’s clothing. These prominent ones who preached to others forget the Word of God that spoke about them stating:

The LORD will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me. (Deuteronomy 28:20)

God who never had changed had his Hannah’s, Samuel’s and men of God who had integrity and listened to the voice of the Lord and didn’t do what others did. They spoke the Word of the Lord without the niceties and corruption’s that many false ones had done. Hence, God had no choice but to move on their behalf against those who did such evil and wicked things in the house of God and caused the rains of revival to be held back. And move He did! God’s word is unchanging:

Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.  But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. Genesis 19:24-26

“Remember Lot’s wife. Luke 17:32

When Judgment fell on Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot’s wife was delivered but then she looked back and became a pillar of salt? Yes, those who don’t obey God’s word will be destroyed just like the others will be about whom Jesus said:

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15-18

POSSIBLE

 The Lord Loves Justice

The LORD knows the days of the upright,  And their inheritance shall be forever.  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,  And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish;  And the enemies of the LORD,  Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.  Into smoke they shall vanish away.  The wicked borrows and does not repay,  But the righteous shows mercy and gives.  For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,  But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. Psalm 37:18-22

Because the LORD loves justice, He does not forsake His saints;  they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever for the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.  It pays to be righteous for God’s word is unchanging:

Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more;  Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.  Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;  He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;  He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. Psalm 37:34-40

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. “When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:29-30

Men claim to know what Jesus Christ Himself does not know and neither does the Holy Spirit. But only our heavenly Father – the hour of the return of Jesus Christ back to the earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  So how can men say that they know what the author and finisher of their faith, Jesus Christ, does not know? They can not unless they are liars and false ones? Many have made wrong predictions about when Jesus would return and they well and will be all wrong. For Jesus told His own not to be deceived by anyone. God’s word states:

And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. “But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.

“Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. “But not a hair of your head shall be lost. “By your patience possess your souls. Luke 21:8-19

Wars, commotions, earthquakes, and famines and pestilence will come and go but the end will not come immediately according to Jesus. First persecution must come and a witness in the power of the Holy Spirit by God’s true ones to kings and rulers, as well as the days of vengeance that all things which were written may be fulfilled. There must be things which we have not seen yet such as:

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. “When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:25-31

Jesus talked about the fig tree and many have related it automatically to nation of Israel and have not related it to the church, the body of Christ. But Jesus told a parable about a fig tree bearing fruit:

He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. “Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

“But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. ‘And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6-9

Well the church of Jesus Christ for the last two thousand years has been like the fig tree, almost barren, anemic, impotent, useless and unfruitful. It has not affected society much those some might thing differently. But the facts of the matter speak for themselves for in the last 40 years, due to religious scandals in the body of Christ, the secular world has only laughed at it and has ignored it for the most part so called Christians.  The church of Jesus Christ has not yet bloomed to what it is supposed to become here on earth; spotless, pure, blameless, powerful and operating in the gifts of the spirit in signs and wonders and the miraculous.

The false teaching and predictions of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ has caused many people to waste their lives just waiting on the Lord. Instead of doing what He commanded them to do – to be busy about the master’s business with the talents that He had given them. And when He comes, whenever that will be, He will bless them for their fruitfulness and stewardship.  Jesus was very clear and explicit in His parable about being profitable servants. God’s word records:

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. “Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. “And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. “But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.

“After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.’ And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. ‘Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  Matthew 25:14-30

The master returned and He judged all His servants and found that the servant who was given only one talent did nothing with it. The master was so infuriated that He called him a wicked and lazy and unprofitable servant and cast him into the outer darkness where there was wailing and gnashing of teeth. God, who does not think nor act like man, took the talent from the unprofitable servant and gave it to the one who already had ten. Interesting concept?

Jesus Christ, unlike men,  also taught to him that has more shall be given but to him that has not even what he has shall be taken away. The other fact of the matter is that these men were all servants of the master of the kingdom and not strangers. Yet one would end up being a stranger and cast out of the kingdom.  Many do not consider possible that some Christians will be rejected by God. Even though Jesus taught that the goats and sheep will be separated by their deeds and not by their confession of faith:

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. “All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. “And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? ‘When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? ‘Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:31-46

As a result of the dismal failure of the last generation, the Lord is now moving on His people and raising up a new enlightened generation for He has much He desire to teach and provide them in spiritual gifts.  They need only stop judging others and second-guessing Him. They need only do what He has called them to do with a pure heart. Then we will all see what the current Church as a whole can do in His service and purposes.

The last generation has been one of vipers and snakes who have eaten God’s  people up with their lies and desire for wealth. They thought by grabbing their prosperity promised in His Word they had the real thing.  But, this is not true. They didn’t have His real prosperity if they are working things out for themselves. They didn’t have His real prosperity if they were not doing the right works He had called them to do – works of justice, righteousness, truth and caring for the widows, homeless, helpless, demon-possessed and oppressed. Those who have had justice and security removed from them by the devil of lies.

God has put His people upon the earth to return justice to the land, to set the captives free, to bring healing to the lonely and oppressed. He had called them to step out of their shells and secure places and bring hope to a dying nation. He had given them the tools to do the job. They had all the love and gifts they need to do what He had commanded them. They had to simply step out and do it and how great the change would have been to the nation.  But no they did obey Him nor listened to Him. Instead just like the children of Israel who came out of Egypt they have walked in their fears and insecurities. They had not allowed God to stretch them to do much more than they are doing. They had not listened to His  voice calling them to action. Actions they said spoke louder than words!  They did not prove they love God by obeying His  Words to them. By serving Him by their actions and He did not bless them for it. So while they were running around looking for His appearing they missed seeking and doing true justice, righteousness and truth and all the things that He had commanded them to do in His word concerning the poor, the stranger and the oppressed.

As a result we have seen in America many prominent ministries go down in flames, in scandals and financial difficulties rather than manifest prosperity, victory and miracles. Sad to say that most of the world was really untouched and unchanged by God’s people, when all of heaven’s riches and resources were given to and were available to them to do the job.  When God called them, they didn’t come. When He spoke to them, they did not hear. When He commanded them, they thought it an option to listen. But the rights they had He had given them and they had no rights outside of Him. Too quickly man forgot who his true benefactor was –it was never man, just God–their Heavenly Father.

He had given them all the love they needed. He had sent them to love all humanity into His Kingdom. He had asked them to embrace the worldly to bring them to Him. Yet, His people had separated themselves from world and placed them above them. As a result the others could not be healed and brought out of the miry clay. They couldn’t without God’s Spirit. Some came, but many more would have with their help. This was their sin. They left Jesus Christ their first love and turned to worship the idol of wealth and power.  As a result they were going to pay the price for their disobedience. If others had to suffer because of their incompetence, so would they suffer also? No one would escape God’s wrath and judgment for He had pronounced it as their Lord and King!

The ways of men are not God’s ways. He is a jealous and angry God. His church had not done as He had commanded them. They had done unwise things and provoked Him to much displeasure. They were a desolate people, full of themselves and their own doings. God has turned His face from them and their leaders. He had turned from them because they don’t do my perfect will. They did their own selfish wills and ways. He was furious with them.

God was changing the circumstances and landscape of the America. He was making the land different. He was changing it from the traditions and foolishness of men. They were no longer going to place their rules and ways upon His sheep. They will no longer be able to rob and destroy the lives of His sheep. The church would be totally of Him or not at all of Him. There will be no fence sitting for He was raising up a new generation of my children who will serve Him and not themselves or their passions. He was raising up children to honor Him and pay homage only to Him and not bow their knee to Baal. Those whom God has called can never turn back from following Him because their heart could never release them. Those who are truly of Him will service Him to the bitter end because their love of the Father runs deeper and truer than any person on earth. They desire all God has to offer and all the right character traits of a mature spirit-filled Christian. They will walk in integrity and a deep and real sense of justice.  They will walk and move in love. They will be true judges of the earth and they will judge with equity and impartiality.

God true anointed ones will never forsake the fundamental truth of the Word for their own agendas and personal gain. They will walk in deep fear and love of the Father and they will never turn their back on the needy. Their desire will continually be toward their Heavenly Father and to please Him only in the positions He has called them to. They will never serve man or do what men do in order to receive the praise and power of earth. Their entire heart is filled with the desire to serve only the Lord.

But for the others self love and self preservation is their agenda. For they have not understood God’s word which stated:

“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:25

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. “For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:33-36

They forgot that no man knows the hour when the son of man will return. It could be fifty, one hundred and even one thousand years from now. There are still many people that need to be touched and changed by the power of God. The laborers have been unfaithful and few and God’s word is still true:

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38

JUSTICE

 The Lord Loves Justice

The LORD knows the days of the upright,  And their inheritance shall be forever.  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,  And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish;  And the enemies of the LORD,  Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.  Into smoke they shall vanish away.  The wicked borrows and does not repay,  But the righteous shows mercy and gives.  For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,  But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. Psalm 37:18-22

Because the LORD loves justice, He does not forsake His saints;  they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever for the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.  It pays to be righteous for God’s word is unchanging:

Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more;  Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.  Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;  He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;  He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. Psalm 37:34-40

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. “When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:29-30

Men claim to know what Jesus Christ Himself does not know and neither does the Holy Spirit. But only our heavenly Father – the hour of the return of Jesus Christ back to the earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  So how can men say that they know what the author and finisher of their faith, Jesus Christ, does not know? They can not unless they are liars and false ones? Many have made wrong predictions about when Jesus would return and they well and will be all wrong. For Jesus told His own not to be deceived by anyone. God’s word states:

And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. “But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.

“Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. “But not a hair of your head shall be lost. “By your patience possess your souls. Luke 21:8-19

Wars, commotions, earthquakes, and famines and pestilence will come and go but the end will not come immediately according to Jesus. First persecution must come and a witness in the power of the Holy Spirit by God’s true ones to kings and rulers, as well as the days of vengeance that all things which were written may be fulfilled. There must be things which we have not seen yet such as:

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Jesus talked about the fig tree and many have related it automatically to nation of Israel and have not related it to the church, the body of Christ. But Jesus told a parable about a fig tree bearing fruit:

He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. “Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

“But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. ‘And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6-9

Well the church of Jesus Christ for the last two thousand years has been like the fig tree, almost barren, anemic, impotent, useless and unfruitful. It has not affected society much those some might thing differently. But the facts of the matter speak for themselves for in the last 40 years, due to religious scandals in the body of Christ, the secular world has only laughed at it and has ignored it for the most part so called Christians.  The church of Jesus Christ has not yet bloomed to what it is supposed to become here on earth; spotless, pure, blameless, powerful and operating in the gifts of the spirit in signs and wonders and the miraculous.

The false teaching and predictions of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ has caused many people to waste their lives just waiting on the Lord. Instead of doing what He commanded them to do – to be busy about the master’s business with the talents that He had given them. And when He comes, whenever that will be, He will bless them for their fruitfulness and stewardship.  Jesus was very clear and explicit in His parable about being profitable servants. God’s word records:

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. “Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. “And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. “But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.

“After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.’ And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. ‘Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  Matthew 25:14-30

The master returned and He judged all His servants and found that the servant who was given only one talent did nothing with it. The master was so infuriated that He called him a wicked and lazy and unprofitable servant and cast him into the outer darkness where there was wailing and gnashing of teeth. God, who does not think nor act like man, took the talent from the unprofitable servant and gave it to the one who already had ten. Interesting concept?

Jesus Christ, unlike men,  also taught to him that has more shall be given but to him that has not even what he has shall be taken away. The other fact of the matter is that these men were all servants of the master of the kingdom and not strangers. Yet one would end up being a stranger and cast out of the kingdom.  Many do not consider possible that some Christians will be rejected by God. Even though Jesus taught that the goats and sheep will be separated by their deeds and not by their confession of faith:

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. “All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. “And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? ‘When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? ‘Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

As a result of the dismal failure of the last generation, the Lord is now moving on His people and raising up a new enlightened generation for He has much He desire to teach and provide them in spiritual gifts.  They need only stop judging others and second-guessing Him. They need only do what He has called them to do with a pure heart. Then we will all see what the current Church as a whole can do in His service and purposes.

He had called them to step out of their shells and secure places and bring hope to a dying nation. He had given them the tools to do the job. They had all the love and gifts they need to do what He had commanded them. Do Not Weep For Me

Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God”? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Isaiah 40:27-29

For thus says the LORD of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:8

Jesus was only one man but one man is very important to God especially if that one man is a son of God. As result God will move heaven and earth for one man! In most organizations religious, political or government that rights and needs of an individual are negated when it comes to rights and needs of the whole group. We see this in the words of the murderers of Jesus who said “it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” The bible records:

Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did. Then the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered a council and said, “What shall we do? For this Man works many signs. “If we let Him alone like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and nation.”

And one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all, “nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad. Then, from that day on, they plotted to put Him to death. John 11:45-53

But to God, as seen in Numbers 16, the rights of one individual is more important that the rights of the group and as a result the whole national of Israel perished in 70 AD in the judgments of God that followed when God’s other ministers gave retribution for what they did to Jesus. The bible records:

“And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? Luke 18:7

Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. “For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’ “Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ‘ “For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?” Luke 23:26-31

Flavius Josephus in writing about “The Siege of Jerusalem, AD 70” testified:

Throughout the city people were dying of hunger in large numbers, and enduring unspeakable sufferings. In every house the merest hint of food sparked violence, and close relatives fell to blows, snatching from one another the pitiful supports of life. No respect was paid even to the dying; the ruffians [anti-Roman zealots] searched them, in case they were concealing food somewhere in their clothes, or just pretending to be near death. Gaping with hunger, like mad dogs, lawless gangs went staggering and reeling through the streets, battering upon the doors like drunkards, and so bewildered that they broke into the same house two or three times in an hour. Need drove the starving to gnaw at anything. Refuse which even animals would reject was collected and turned into food. In the end they were eating belts and shoes, and the leather stripped off their shields. Tufts of withered grass were devoured, and sold in little bundles for four drachmas.

There is a real price to be paid for rejecting truth and doing injustice, even in the current time of life, as the people of Jerusalem who murdered Jesus could testify. By 66 AD Life in Jerusalem had become a nightmare, it was so full of violence and misery. Famine and food shortages become an everyday problem.

Then in 70 AD Titus marched against the city with four legions of the Roman army. They laid siege to Jerusalem and using their battering rams they breached the walls of the city. Fleeing citizens of Jerusalem were caught by the Romans and were tortured and crucified. Later the whole city was destroyed and the people of Jerusalem paid the price for ignoring Jesus warning about what would happen to them. These kinds of things do happen even in the current time of life!

TITUS now promised that the Temple should be spared if the defenders would come forth and fight in any other place, but John and the Zealots refused to surrender it. For several days the outer cloisters and outer court were attacked with rams, but the immense and compact stones resisted the blows. As many soldiers were slain in seeking to storm the cloisters, Titus ordered the gates to be set on fire. Through that night and the next day the flames raged through the cloisters. Then, in order to save the Temple itself, he ordered the fire to be quenched. On the tenth of August, the same day of the year on which Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the Temple built by Solomon, the cry was heard that the Temple was on fire. The Jews, with cries of grief and rage, grasped their swords and rushed to take revenge on their enemies or perish in the ruins.

The slaughter was continued while the fire raged. Soon no part was left but a small portion of the outer cloisters, where 6,000 people had taken refuge, led by a false prophet who had there promised that God would deliver His people in His Temple. The soldiers set the building on fire and all perished. Titus next spent eighteen days in preparations for the attack on the upper city, which was then speedily captured. And now the Romans were not disposed to display any mercy, night alone putting an end to the carnage. During the whole of this siege of Jerusalem, 1,100,000 were slain, and the prisoners numbered 97,000.

If we examine the Jewish people and their religious leaders, they were sincere and arrogant in that they were right to crucify Jesus. After all Jesus was in their opinion and according to their theology a false prophet and their leaders told them so. As a matter of fact their leaders told them that Jesus was a Samaritan and had a demon. They were God’s chosen people who thought they had surrendered to Him but in reality denied Him. They refused to see the plain truth that surrender is more than lies. It is a deep desire to surrender all the lies. Most men look how they can carry on without surrendering their will to God. They seek a sign rather than the truth. That is why Jesus told them:

Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.

He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; “and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’
Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed. Matthew 16:1-4

Jesus called them hypocrites and a wicked and adulterous generation. They thought they could see what they cannot see at all. They heard what they desired to and refused to surrender all. They thought and therefore god has spoken. They thought it went that way. They forgot the lilies of the valleys were created before them. They could not see the winds of change were blowing and sweeping across their land. They thought they were secure and continued in their traditional ways not know that the strong winds would be blowing and devastating the land. It was coming nearer and nearer to the hour of their demise. They mindlessly went on in life thinking themselves very spiritual and assuming that sincerity and presumption where a guarantee of salvation. They did not tune their heart and mind and spirit to God’s s still small Voice. They did not take action in their limps and heart toward God’s intentions and not theirs. They assumed they knew everything and did not turn it all to the Lord. They were proud of what they had achieved. After all, it was theirs? They never anticipated that the word of the prophets would come to pass just as Jesus prophesied and there were real consequences to their sin, rebellion and deeds. As a result of the Romans laid siege to Jerusalem in 70 AD. The number of people who perished by famine were enormous and the miseries they underwent were unspeakable. Finally on the order of Titus Caesar the entire city of Jerusalem and its temple were demolished except for three towers.

It did not pay to reject and murderer God’s true prophet and Son. A whole nation and its capital were destroyed in the ensuing judgment of God that followed. As God’s word is true even this day:

‘I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. ‘And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. Genesis 18:18-19

Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” “Have no fellowship … darkness”: Paul’s instruction is plain and direct: Christians are to faithfully live in righteousness and purity and have nothing at all to do with the evil ways and works of Satan and the world. The two ways of living are unalterably opposed to each other and mutually exclusive (1 Cor. 5:9-11; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 2 Thess. 3:6, 14). “Rather reprove them”: The Christians responsibility does not stop with his own rejection of evil.HE IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPOSING AND OPPOSING DARKNESS WHEREVER IT IS FOUND, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS FOUND IN THE CHURCH/GROUP. The child of light should not become involved in evil even by association. To compromise God’s standards is to weaken our witness as well as our character. No act of unrighteousness is permissible. WE ARE NOT EVEN TO HAVE CONTACT AT ALL WITH A FELLOW BELIEVER WHO IS OPENLY SINNING. “I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people,” Paul said to the Corinthians. I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters; for then you would have to go out of the world. But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so called brother if he should be an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler, not even to eat with such a one” (1 Cor. 5:9-11; 2 Thess. 3:6, 14).

“Reprove” is better translated “expose.” The believer’s duty is expressed here in two ways. Negatively, he is not to “have” and “fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,” that is, not to indulge in the sins of the unsaved. Positively, he is to “expose” (reprove) those sins, that is, bring them to light and show them for what they really are, so that the unbeliever may see their hideous nature and their terrible consequences. To ignore evil is to encourage it; to keep quiet about it is to help promote it. We are to confront sin with intolerance. When those around us see us helping rather than exploiting, hears us talking with purity instead of profanity and observe us speaking truthfully rather that deceitfully, our example will itself be a rebuke of selfishness, unwholesome talk and falsehood. Simply refusing to participate in a dishonest business or social practice will sometimes be such a strong rebuke that it costs us our job or a friendship. The works of those dwelling in darkness produce no profitable fruit. To fellowship with someone means that you are partakers with them. We should not only not join in with them in their evil deeds, but we should tell them of their evil deeds, so that they might be encouraged to change.

THE FALL

And Great Was Its Fall

Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life. He will repay my enemies for their evil. Cut them off in Your truth. I will freely sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good. For He has delivered me out of all trouble; And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies. Psalm 54:4-7

Christendom is full of half truths that sound nice but in reality are lies. Case in point is that there are those who advocate that prosperity comes from reading and studying the bible and praying nice things for your enemies. But the Word of God teachers that prosperity comes from listening to and obeying the voice of the Lord and heeding the voice of His prophets including Jesus Christ the chief prophet. The bible records for our profit and instruction:

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah. For he held fast to the LORD; he did not depart from following Him, but kept His commandments, which the LORD had commanded Moses. The LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went. So the LORD was with him; he prospered wherever he went including give him victory over His enemies. He was a doer of the word not a hearer or reader only just like Jesus talked about:

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: “and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

You can be prosperous by stealing money and it has nothing to do with God. Many pastors and preacher become rich off the tithes of God’s people and God had nothing to do with it. Yet God’s word is unchanging:

And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? “You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. “The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. “So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. “My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.” Ezekiel 34:1-6

Success and prosperity in the ministry are not measured by the theology of the church, the amount of money the pastor makes, whether the church building is debt free or the size of a congregation but rather if the sheep are fed, healed, delivered and cared for! God’s word is unchanging:

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:21-27

It’s a fact that Christianity Today founded by Billy Graham did not report immediately on one of its own pastors Ollin Collins, Senior Pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Fort Worth, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s board chairman. A man who resigned amid sexual misconducts allegations when he was accused of having sexual relationships with two women who sought counseling.

But it did report about the adultery of a black man and a National Baptist but not about the adultery of a white man and Southern Baptist. An adultery that was more hideous and gross because Collins raped unsuspecting trusting women, while Lyons adulterous relationships were consensual. Now concerning the fallen hero, the church had suspended Pastor Collins with pay pending an investigation. He resigned from his board position one day after a story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported the women’s allegations and their intent to sue. Southwestern is the world’s largest evangelical seminary, with 3,000 students on eight campuses.

Jim Jones religion editor of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported the Rev. Ollin Collins, pastor of the 2,000-member Harvest Baptist Church in Watauga, was accused of having sexual affairs with two of Collins’ female church members. “Collins is being sued by two female church members who claim they had sexual relationships with him during counseling sessions. Collins resigned as chairman of the trustees after the accusations became public.”

While Tara Dooley Star-Telegram Staff Writer reported “Last month, three women and the husband of a fourth sued Harvest Baptist Church in Watauga and pastor Ollin Collins. They contend that Collins has harmed them and their families “by engaging in predatory sexual conduct,” according to the lawsuits.

The lawsuits also contend that the church covered up Collins’ actions. In interviews, two of the women said they did not approach church leaders with their complaints because of concerns that leaders would not take action. Collins has been suspended from his duties with pay, pending an investigation, church officials say. Critics say that church leaders and congregants often rush to the defense of a pastor and sometimes hush complaints.

While the Baptist Standard reported Suits against Collins dropped. Sexual misconduct lawsuits against Harvest Baptist Church of Watauga and the church’s former pastor have been dropped by the five women who accused Ollin Collins of abusing his position as a pastor and counselor.

In an April 21 story, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram cited court documents to report the suits were dropped after Collins admitted that he “engaged in an adulterous relationship” with three of the women. All five women retained the right to sue Collins again, said their attorney, John Holland. “We had asked him to apologize to the church and agree not to be in the pulpit until September of 2000, and he refuses to do that,” Holland said. Collins, who was fired from the Watauga pastorate, also resigned as chairman of the trustee board at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary amid the scandal.

Again it’s doers of the word and not talkers or hearers only who are blessed by God. True love is not demonstrated by words but by deeds. God so loved the world that He gave His son. Jesus loved the sheep He laid down His life for them. He didn’t take the life of the sheep. Those who are called by God’s name ought to lay down their lives for the brethren. God’s word is unchanging:

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:14-18

Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:7-10

Genesis 3:13 And the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Genesis 29:25 So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah. And he said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Was it not for Rachel that I served you? Why then have you deceived me?”

Genesis 31:7 Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.

It is in the character of demons and people to deceive men which started in the Garden of Eden when the serpent deceived Eve and paradise was lost. Deception is one of the great tools of the devil that he uses on all people including Christians. Deception is always present in one’s relationship with a familiar spirit even though the person is not aware it is a familiar spirit but thinks it’s just an idea or thought. The person having a familiar spirit may not recognize that it is a spirit entity with whom he is having a relationship. He may think that his experiences are only within his imaginations and fantasies or part of his personality.

God’s people need to repent and renounce all familiar spirits that have entered their lives through whatever means possible and be delivered from all the lies and deceptions of familiar spirits by the power and anointing of God. Here is a suggested prayer.

Satan, I renounce you, and I take back all the ground that I ever yielded to you. God is my source of wisdom, knowledge, guidance, victory, strength and power. In Jesus name I declare total and complete victory over every enemy!  You familiar spirit, leave me, in the name of Jesus. Lord Jesus, I belong to You. You have saved me and redeemed me by Your blood. I have need of no spirit other than The Holy Spirit. Forgive me for having sought from other spirits that which should only come from You. I renounce and separate myself from all familiar spirits, however acquired. I call upon You, Lord, to deliver me from the lies and deceptions of familiar spirits, all the works and wiles of the enemy  and to heal me of all their works and all things. Teach me Your truth and Your ways. It is my earnest desire to walk in Your will and to glorify Your name. Amen.

Father God, You are the wonder-working God. I come boldly before Your throne of mercy and grace seeking healing for my body, blessings in my finances and total victory over every enemy. Deliver me from every bondage and enemy. Heal me from every infirmity. Guard me from all forces of darkness. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness by Your precious blood. Remove every fear from my heart and let Your divine light shine in my heart. Grant me the strength of Your divine spirit and strengthen me.   Lord Your word says that You are the God that heals us of all our diseases, all our sickness, redeem us from destruction, gives us victory over all our enemies and satisfy us with good things and my enemies would flee from me seven ways.  You said that You would take my sickness away from me, bless me coming in and going out and I would thread the high places of my enemies.  Your word says that You desire above all things that we prosper and be in good health.  Therefore I know that it is Your will for me to be in good health.  Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I come against this spirit of infirmity and spirit of poverty that is trying to overtake me, and render it helpless in the mighty name of Jesus.  Father in the name of Jesus, I bind every spirit of sickness and disease, every spirit of infirmity, and every other demonic spirit that the enemy is trying to use against my life in any way.  By the authority of Jesus Christ, I pull down every stronghold of the adversary against my body, and command him to flee from every area of my body, as well as my life and my finances, in the name of Jesus.  Satan I render You helpless, powerless, and ineffective against my body and my finances in the name of Jesus.   For greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world, therefore You will not overcome me, for I have overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of my testimony, and I say to You “ BY THE STRIPES OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH I AM HEALED, BLESSED AND MADE PERFECT, WHOLE AND COMPLETE!

Yes, the greatest enemy of all of God’s people is deception. Whether it is self-deception or general malice it is still deception.  The only way to avoid this deception is to get on our knees humble ourselves and admit we are wrong and unworthy of God. Then, with God we can build on this foundation, restructuring our lives into something that will be profitable, pliable and usable.

Deception is never a blessing to those who are deceived by it and many times results in tragedy, sorrow, loss and even death. Unfortunately today in our society both politicians and preachers are great deceivers and cannot be trusted. Only God’s word and the Holy Spirit should be trusted in all things. God’s word is true:

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.  For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.  1 Corinthians 2:1-5

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.  For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:12-16

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:20

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. 1 John 2:27

Since Satan is the great deceiver and even Christians can be deceived it is possible and it happens to men that they are deceived and led away from the truth without knowing it. If the person being deceived knew they were being deceived, then deception would not have occurred. One must believe that one is not deceived in order to be deceived. It is just that simple.

And Christians get deceived with they put their own perspective on things instead of God’s and when they seek their own kingdom instead of God’s! The word of God tells us in Proverbs 14:12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.  So what may seem right, can lead to death because the consequence of sin is death.  In other words a Christian can be confident that he or she is serving the Lord when he is actually deceived. This is because what we do  things that “seems to be right” in our eyes.

It is a very sad thing when the glory of God has departed due to deception or willful sin from a person, a church or a denomination.  Just because a person or a group of people started out serving God, being led by the Holy Spirit and continuing  in His Word,  doesn’t mean they will not fall away or be deceived when God’s blessings will be abundant and they begin to rely on their own strength, wisdom and power rather than God’s strength, wisdom or power.

Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul both taught on the importance of not being deceived and being aware of false prophets and wolves including a strong warning “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.  “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.  “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.  “Therefore by their fruits you will know them.   “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:15-23

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.   For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says:  “Awake, you who sleep,  Arise from the dead,  And Christ will give you light.” Ephesians 5:6-14

If deception of Christians by empty words of deceivers were not possible then Apostle Paul would not warn Christians about it or that because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience and also tells us do not be partakers with them.

And scriptures doesn’t tell us that exposing the unfruitful works of darkness which are done by the sons of disobedience is wrong bur rather children of light are to become aware of them, expose them and to have no fellowship with the perpetrators of  evil, lies, deception and wickedness many of whom are goats not sheep! And God’s word is true:

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:  ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;  ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’  “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’  “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:41-46

Jesus taught that the goats who did not give him food when He was hungry, give him drink when He was thirsty, take Him in when He was a stranger, clothe Him when He was naked, visit Him when He was sick and in prison would go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Yes, all those who did not minister to the least of one of these are unrighteous. And since Jesus wrote the rules and enforces them, they are in deep trouble.

Yes, Jesus taught that all His words were not to be ignored or there would be serious consequences.  He also told us to beware of men who would come as wolves in sheep’s clothing and would teach the doctrine of men as commandments of God (Matthew 16:9).

It’s to be noted that Jesus Christ Himself in the power of the Holy Spirit, the greater one in us, has now become for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. When we understand this truth and humbly act on it we shall never be the same nor defeated or deceived any more. And the deception of men is that they think they are so wonderful when they are not. They think they can achieve anything without God. They built great towers and monuments to themselves and then ask why He is upset with their inventions. They don’t understand they were doing it to exalt themselves and forgot their Creator. They forgot to worship Him, to thank Him, to love Him for who He is to them. They forgot their Lord and Savior.  Deception and demonization of Christians today is the norm rather than the exception. Because they are not walking in the power of God’s might and His truth and are not putting on the armor of God, or standing in all the promises of God, today’s Christendom is demonized, anemic, impotent, incompetent and fearful just like the children of Israel were when they came out of Egypt and never went into the Promised Land. They are more full of fear than they are full of faith and that is a fact!

It’s also a fact that Christians who are demonized and have familiar spirits living in them including the spirit of infirmity and deception, cannot deliver others until they themselves are delivered. It’s a fact that Jesus spent fifty percent of his ministry time casting out demons, and today’s Apostate Christians allow familiar spirits to run rampant in their own lives, churches  and society. Sickness of any kind in God’s people should not be tolerated but dealt with including the spirits that cause cancer, diabetes’s, mental breakdowns, etc. You cannot give others victory until you have victory yourself but God’s word is unchanging:

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ‘ Revelation 2:17

“He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5

“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name. Revelation 3:12

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Satan is real and alive and well on planet earth. He has many names including the deceiver, the thief, the liar, the father of lies, the devil and a murderer. Jesus told The Pharisees “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44).

Satan is not a lion but Jesus Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David (Revelations 5:5). But Satan walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. He has many weapons including deception and appealing to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. And Apostle Paul and James tell us that Christian can give place to the devil:

Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.  Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.  But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.  This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic.  For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.  James 3:13-17

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”   Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:6-7

“Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk  2:4

“For we walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Walking by faith means that we base everything we do in life upon what God says because we believe Him. In fact, we believe Him so deeply that everything we say, everywhere we go, every action we take, and every thought in our mind aligns itself with what God says.

A truth we find threaded through God’s Word is that everything a Christian receives, he must believe for it first. Before we receive salvation, we must believe for salvation. God searches over the earth looking for those who will believe Him. And when He finds someone who believes Him, then He rewards them because God is a rewarder of those who believe that He is and diligently seek Him.

We must also live our lives based on the truth of God’s Word instead of the facts that are found in the world. We act on the promise instead of the problem. We walk in the truth instead of deception and we walk in the light instead of darkness. We must walk in love instead of hate. God’s word is unchanging:

Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.   Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law Romans 13:7-10

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. Galatians 5:6

Rallies throughout America are scheduled outside federal buildings on Saturday to protest a Florida jury’s decision last week to find neighborhood watch leader George Zimmerman not guilty of shooting dead unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin.

It is expected that Trayvon Martin’s parents will join the protests organized by the veteran civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton to push the US Justice Department to bring a civil rights case against Zimmerman.

Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton will lead the Saturday rally along with Sharpton just outside police headquarters in New York.

Martin’s father is to lead the demonstration in Miami, where Trayvon lived with his mother and older brother.

Reverend Al Sharpton said the protests are planned for more than 100 cities throughout America and expressed hope that they would be peaceful. Earlier this week, protests against the ruling in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay turned violent, resulting in a number of arrests.

Trayvon Martin was shot dead over a year ago by Zimmerman, who claimed he acted in self-defense. The prosecution argued that Zimmerman was guilty of second-degree murder, stating that he racially profiled the unarmed teen and assumed he was a criminal when he saw him walking through a gated community in Sanford, Florida. They further claimed that Zimmerman tracked the teenager down and started the fight that led to the shooting.

On July 13, Zimmerman, whose voter registration record listed him as hispanic, was acquitted of all charges relating to the fatal shooting of the black teen by a panel of six women jurors. The former neighborhood watch volunteer could have been sentenced to life in prison for second-degree murder or up to 30 years for manslaughter if he was found guilty.

Zimmerman’s acquittal sparked nationwide protests last weekend as thousands took to the streets in major American cities protesting against the verdict and related issues regarding race, profiling and vigilantism.

Federal prosecutors are pursuing an investigation into whether Zimmerman violated civil rights laws, but civil rights experts doubt new charges are likely.

On Thursday Florida Governor Rick Scott met with sit-in demonstrators outside his office in Tallahassee. He said he supports the Stand Your Ground law and has no intention of convening a special legislative session to change the self-defense statute that have been adopted in 30 states.

On Friday American President Barack Obama warned the public against violence while protesting.

He agreed that “There is a history of racial disparities in the application of our criminal laws,” and that “If a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario … both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different.”

“Trayvon Martin could have been me, 35 years ago,” Obama said.

Earlier Friday, Robert Zimmerman Jr., George Zimmerman’s brother told The Daily Caller that Obama’s remarks reinforced the “mythology surrounding the case.”

“While we acknowledge and understand the racial context of this case,” the defense’s statement continues, “we challenge people to look closely and dispassionately at the facts.”

“We believe those who look at the facts of the case without prejudice will see that it is a clear case of self-defense, and we are certain that those who take a closer look at the kind of person George Zimmerman is,” reads the statement.

The Zimmerman family has carried themselves so well and you can tell what a good family this is and George is not the person they are portraying him to be. Today, Our president made a comment that was unnecessary and is used to further the division of race in this country. I feel sad that a young man at 17 was killed, but there are so many factors in this case that are not being brought out because it does not further the agenda of such folks as Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson. Their sole agenda is to divide and keep this issue going as a way to make money and a name for themselves. In an interview with Focus on the Family, she shares how she converted from atheism to Christianity. She said: “I was not looking to be a Christian. The last thing in the world I wanted to be was a Christian. I had grown up as an Episcopalian, but not evangelical, born again, or any of those kinds of things. It was very high church, kind of mainline, protestant, episcopalian. I did believe in God, but it wasn’t anywhere near what would come to happen to me later in life.

“When I went away to college, whatever little faith I had, I lost. I ended up graduating from college. I worked in the Clinton administration. All my friends were secular liberals. At this point, I really got even more deeply into an incredibly secular world because now, all my friends were basically atheists, or if they had any kind of spirituality, they were very hostile towards religion, Christianity in particular. So, I really didn’t have any interest in it.

“I started dating someone who went to Tim Keller’s church, Redeemer Presbyterian in New York City. Out of curiosity, I went with him. But I told him upfront that I would never become a Christian; that it’s never going to happen. After about six or seven months, I began to think that the weight of history is more on the side of what [I was hearing at this church] than not. Tim Keller had made such a strong case, that I began to think it’s not even smart to reject this. It just doesn’t seem like a good intellectual decision.

“Really, it was like God sort of invaded my life. It was very unwelcome. I didn’t like it. Obviously, I started having a lot of different experiences where I felt God was doing a lot of things in my life. It’s kind of hard to describe, but I did have this moment where the scales just fell off of my eyes, where I was saying, ‘this is just totally true, I don’t even have any doubt.’ …I don’t really feel like I had any courage when I became a Christian, I just gave in. I wasn’t courageous; I didn’t have any choice. I kept trying to not believe but I just couldn’t avoid [accepting Christ]. If I could have avoided it, I would have. There is nothing convenient about it in my life or in the world I live in. It’s not like living in the South where everybody is a Christian. I live in a world where nobody is a believer. But God pursued me.”

The Lord Loves Justice

The LORD knows the days of the upright,  And their inheritance shall be forever.  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time,  And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish;  And the enemies of the LORD,  Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish.  Into smoke they shall vanish away.  The wicked borrows and does not repay,  But the righteous shows mercy and gives.  For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth,  But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. Psalm 37:18-22

 Because the LORD loves justice, He does not forsake His saints;  they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell in it forever for the mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.  It pays to be righteous for God’s word is unchanging:

Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more;  Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.  Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;  He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;  He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. Psalm 37:34-40

Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. “When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:29-30

Men claim to know what Jesus Christ Himself does not know and neither does the Holy Spirit. But only our heavenly Father – the hour of the return of Jesus Christ back to the earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  So how can men say that they know what the author and finisher of their faith, Jesus Christ, does not know? They can not unless they are liars and false ones? Many have made wrong predictions about when Jesus would return and they well and will be all wrong. For Jesus told His own not to be deceived by anyone. God’s word states:

And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them. “But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.

“Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. “You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. “But not a hair of your head shall be lost. “By your patience possess your souls. Luke 21:8-19

 Wars, commotions, earthquakes, and famines and pestilence will come and go but the end will not come immediately according to Jesus. First persecution must come and a witness in the power of the Holy Spirit by God’s true ones to kings and rulers, as well as the days of vengeance that all things which were written may be fulfilled. There must be things which we have not seen yet such as:

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; “men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. “Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

“Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. “When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. “So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Luke 21:25-31

Jesus talked about the fig tree and many have related it automatically to nation of Israel and have not related it to the church, the body of Christ. But Jesus told a parable about a fig tree bearing fruit:

He also spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. “Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

“But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. ‘And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6-9

Well the church of Jesus Christ for the last two thousand years has been like the fig tree, almost barren, anemic, impotent, useless and unfruitful. It has not affected society much those some might thing differently. But the facts of the matter speak for themselves for in the last 40 years, due to religious scandals in the body of Christ, the secular world has only laughed at it and has ignored it for the most part so called Christians.  The church of Jesus Christ has not yet bloomed to what it is supposed to become here on earth; spotless, pure, blameless, powerful and operating in the gifts of the spirit in signs and wonders and the miraculous.

 The false teaching and predictions of the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ has caused many people to waste their lives just waiting on the Lord. Instead of doing what He commanded them to do – to be busy about the master’s business with the talents that He had given them. And when He comes, whenever that will be, He will bless them for their fruitfulness and stewardship.  Jesus was very clear and explicit in His parable about being profitable servants. God’s word records:

 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. “Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. “And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. “But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.

“After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

“Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.’ And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’

“But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. ‘Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.

‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. ‘And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  Matthew 25:14-30

The master returned and He judged all His servants and found that the servant who was given only one talent did nothing with it. The master was so infuriated that He called him a wicked and lazy and unprofitable servant and cast him into the outer darkness where there was wailing and gnashing of teeth. God, who does not think nor act like man, took the talent from the unprofitable servant and gave it to the one who already had ten. Interesting concept?

 Jesus Christ, unlike men,  also taught to him that has more shall be given but to him that has not even what he has shall be taken away. The other fact of the matter is that these men were all servants of the master of the kingdom and not strangers. Yet one would end up being a stranger and cast out of the kingdom.  Many do not consider possible that some Christians will be rejected by God. Even though Jesus taught that the goats and sheep will be separated by their deeds and not by their confession of faith:

 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. “All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. “And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

“Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; ‘I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? ‘When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? ‘Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: ‘for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; ‘I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ “Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:31-46

 As a result of the dismal failure of the last generation, the Lord is now moving on His people and raising up a new enlightened generation for He has much He desire to teach and provide them in spiritual gifts.  They need only stop judging others and second-guessing Him. They need only do what He has called them to do with a pure heart. Then we will all see what the current Church as a whole can do in His service and purposes.

 The last generation has been one of vipers and snakes who have eaten God’s  people up with their lies and desire for wealth. They thought by grabbing their prosperity promised in His Word they had the real thing.  But, this is not true. They didn’t have His real prosperity if they are working things out for themselves. They didn’t have His real prosperity if they were not doing the right works He had called them to do – works of justice, righteousness, truth and caring for the widows, homeless, helpless, demon-possessed and oppressed. Those who have had justice and security removed from them by the devil of lies.

 God has put His people upon the earth to return justice to the land, to set the captives free, to bring healing to the lonely and oppressed. He had called them to step out of their shells and secure places and bring hope to a dying nation. He had given them the tools to do the job. They had all the love and gifts they need to do what He had commanded them. They had to simply step out and do it and how great the change would have been to the nation.  But no they did obey Him nor listened to Him. Instead just like the children of Israel who came out of Egypt they have walked in their fears and insecurities. They had not allowed God to stretch them to do much more than they are doing. They had not listened to His  voice calling them to action. Actions they said spoke louder than words!  They did not prove they love God by obeying His  Words to them. By serving Him by their actions and He did not bless them for it. So while they were running around looking for His appearing they missed seeking and doing true justice, righteousness and truth and all the things that He had commanded them to do in His word concerning the poor, the stranger and the oppressed.

 As a result we have seen in America many prominent ministries go down in flames, in scandals and financial difficulties rather than manifest prosperity, victory and miracles. Sad to say that most of the world was really untouched and unchanged by God’s people, when all of heaven’s riches and resources were given to and were available to them to do the job.  When God called them, they didn’t come. When He spoke to them, they did not hear. When He commanded them, they thought it an option to listen. But the rights they had He had given them and they had no rights outside of Him. Too quickly man forgot who his true benefactor was –it was never man, just God–their Heavenly Father.

He had given them all the love they needed. He had sent them to love all humanity into His Kingdom. He had asked them to embrace the worldly to bring them to Him. Yet, His people had separated themselves from world and placed them above them. As a result the others could not be healed and brought out of the miry clay. They couldn’t without God’s Spirit. Some came, but many more would have with their help. This was their sin. They left Jesus Christ their first love and turned to worship the idol of wealth and power.  As a result they were going to pay the price for their disobedience. If others had to suffer because of their incompetence, so would they suffer also? No one would escape God’s wrath and judgment for He had pronounced it as their Lord and King!

 The ways of men are not God’s ways. He is a jealous and angry God. His church had not done as He had commanded them. They had done unwise things and provoked Him to much displeasure. They were a desolate people, full of themselves and their own doings. God has turned His face from them and their leaders. He had turned from them because they don’t do my perfect will. They did their own selfish wills and ways. He was furious with them.

 God was changing the circumstances and landscape of the America. He was making the land different. He was changing it from the traditions and foolishness of men. They were no longer going to place their rules and ways upon His sheep. They will no longer be able to rob and destroy the lives of His sheep. The church would be totally of Him or not at all of Him. There will be no fence sitting for He was raising up a new generation of my children who will serve Him and not themselves or their passions. He was raising up children to honor Him and pay homage only to Him and not bow their knee to Baal. Those whom God has called can never turn back from following Him because their heart could never release them. Those who are truly of Him will service Him to the bitter end because their love of the Father runs deeper and truer than any person on earth. They desire all God has to offer and all the right character traits of a mature spirit-filled Christian. They will walk in integrity and a deep and real sense of justice.  They will walk and move in love. They will be true judges of the earth and they will judge with equity and impartiality.

 God true anointed ones will never forsake the fundamental truth of the Word for their own agendas and personal gain. They will walk in deep fear and love of the Father and they will never turn their back on the needy. Their desire will continually be toward their Heavenly Father and to please Him only in the positions He has called them to. They will never serve man or do what men do in order to receive the praise and power of earth. Their entire heart is filled with the desire to serve only the Lord.

 But for the others self love and self preservation is their agenda. For they have not understood God’s word which stated:

 “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. Matthew 16:25

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. “For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:33-36

They forgot that no man knows the hour when the son of man will return. It could be fifty, one hundred and even one thousand years from now. There are still many people that need to be touched and changed by the power of God. The laborers have been unfaithful and few and God’s word is still true:

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38
