GOOD NEWS

BCHE COLLECTS YOUR TEARS :

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. – Psalm 56:8, NLT

Do you know how important you are to God? He cares so much about every detail of your life. He cares about your thoughts, feelings and emotions. In fact, what you are going through is so important to Him that He records every sorrow and collects the tears you’ve shed.

Why would God record your sorrows and collect your tears? Because everything that affects you matters to Him. He is your Vindicator. He’s keeping an account of every wrong that’s ever been done to you so that He can make up for every single one of them. He wants to restore to you everything that has ever been stolen. He wants to heal every hurt and pain.

Today, know that God cares about the things that concern you. He cares about the things that hurt you. He is close to the brokenhearted, and He wants to bring you peace and comfort. Turn to Him and receive His love. Let Him bring healing to your heart and restoration to your soul.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for loving me and for caring about the things that concern me. I choose to give You every hurt, pain and sorrow, knowing that You will make all things new in Your time in Jesus’ name. Amen.

YOUR NEXT STOP IS A PLACE OF ABUNDANCE!

Psalm 66:12 – … we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

Are you in a situation where people are stepping all over you and they seem to have the upper hand? You feel as if the challenge you are facing is so big that you are going through fire. And you are so overwhelmed by everything that is happening around you that you feel as if you are drowning.

My friend, I want you to know that your heavenly Father hears your cry for help and He will rescue you. The psalmist says that “we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment”. If you have been through the fire and water, then your next stop is a place of rich fulfillment or abundance!

This place of abundance was indeed the next stop for a church member who had suddenly found himself facing allegations involving some money laundering activities within the bank where he was one of the top executives. Investigations later exonerated him, but because of the bad vibes caused by the incident, he was asked to resign.

He was then aged 52. Friends told him to retire and relax, but retirement was far from his mind. This brother believed that if God had allowed this to happen, it must be that He was leading him to a better place, one of rich fulfillment. And indeed, soon after this difficult experience, one of the top banks offered him a handsome salary to join them in one of their top positions.

A few years later, at age 56, he was headhunted by one of the biggest public-listed companies to start a new division. He accepted the offer and was paid double what he had been earning.

Beloved, your heavenly Father does not lie when He tells you that He will bring you out to rich fulfillment if you are going through a difficult time. Trust Him and you will find yourself stepping into your place of abundance!

BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST :

Luke 24:49 “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

This filling of the Holy Ghost is subsequent to the born-again experience.

Paul reveals in Rom. 10:9, that a person has to confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, before he can be saved.

It is possible to be saved, yet not have what Jesus said was the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Since the Holy Spirit is now given freely and we don’t have to tarry for His coming, we can receive salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the same time. However, it is not automatic. We must ask and believe for the baptism of the Holy Ghost, just as we believed for salvation.

Speaking in tongues is unique to the Church Age. This is because when a person speaks in tongues, his new born-again spirit is speaking (1 Cor. 14:14), not his mind. Before salvation, our spirit was the part of us that was, “dead in trespasses and sins.” Until we received a new spirit (2 Cor. 5:17), the Holy Ghost could not give us this supernatural communication with the Father.

There are two kinds of speaking in tongues which are clearly spoken of in 1 Corinthians 13:1. They are called “the tongues of men and of angels.” The tongues of men are the known languages in which the disciples spoke. The tongues of angels, or heavenly languages, are the tongues that all Spirit-filled believers can speak, and are what Paul spoke about in 1 Corinthians 12-14.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would lead us into all truth and teach us all things. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the single most important key to receiving revelation knowledge from God.

HE HOLDS THE KEYS :

“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades” – (Revelation 1:18, NIV)

Have you ever been locked out of your car or house? It can be very frustrating and inconvenient. Not having your keys can keep you stuck and unproductive. It steals your time and can steal your peace and joy if you let it.

In the same way, we need spiritual keys to access what God has for us — eternal life, peace, freedom and blessing here on earth. But we don’t have to stand on the outside and be frustrated because Jesus holds the keys, and He has opened the way for us to walk through the door of eternal life. Eternal life begins the moment you make Him your Lord and Savior. You don’t have to live in defeat, mediocrity, sickness, sin or any kind of bondage any longer; you have access to the abundant life Jesus came to give!

Today, if you feel stuck, locked out or defeated, remember, Jesus is the one who holds the keys. All you have to do is call on His name and He will answer. He promises to hear you and will deliver you. He wants to be the hero of your story, so call on Him today and receive the victory He has prepared for you!

NEVER ALONE, ALWAYS CARED FOR

IMG_00391 Peter 5:7 – casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

It does not matter how tightly knit our families are or how many close friends we have. When we go through a difficult time or trial, many a time, we still feel all alone and that no one really cares or understands.

Martha knew that feeling. She had on one occasion cried out to Jesus, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone?” (Luke 10:40) Jesus’ disciples also knew what it was like to feel small, alone and in trouble. They cried out, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” when they were swept up in a terrifying storm. (Mark 4:38)

Today, maybe the cry of your heart is also, “Lord, do You not care that I am left all alone… that I am going under… that I am perishing?”

My friend, the Lord does care for you. He loves you so much that He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him — not just some but all your cares. He wants both your big and small cares. There is nothing too small or big for Him. If it is a care in your heart, He wants you to cast it upon Him.

When the apostle Peter wrote “casting all your care upon Him”, he was talking about the continuous act of casting all your cares upon the Lord. As a care comes, God wants you to cast it to Him. That is the lifestyle He wants you to adopt. Why? The verse gives us the reason — “for He cares for you”. You are casting all your cares upon the One who loves you, and who left all of heaven to come and die for you. That is who you are casting your cares to. It is not just any person, but it is the One who gave His life for you!

When you are going through a difficult time, God wants you to believe that you are never alone because He Himself has said that He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) As the object of His care, He will take care of you for the rest of your life. You are never alone and always cared for!

YOU HAVE A STRONG KINSMAN-REDEEMER!

Jeremiah 50:34 – Their Redeemer is strong; the Lord of hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead their case…

Ruth, a young, poor and childless widow in the Old Testament, lay at the feet of Boaz, her potential kinsman-redeemer. (Ruth 3:7) As a rich and close relative of her in-laws, Boaz had the power to redeem her from her plight.

Ruth was simply obeying Naomi, her mother-in-law, who had told her to go and lie down at Boaz’s feet. In the Jewish custom of those days, this was a posture which said, “Please redeem me for you are a close relative.” Notice Boaz’s response to Ruth: “And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request…” (Ruth 3:11)

Beloved, Boaz is a picture of Jesus who is our kinsman-redeemer. He is our kinsman, having been born into this world as one like us. And He is our Redeemer because He redeemed us at a great price when He shed His blood for us on the cross.

As your Redeemer, not only is Jesus willing, but He also has the power to restore to you all that you have lost. That is why you can go to Him and say, “I blew it and now my family is suffering. My finances are dwindling fast. But I come to You, my kinsman-redeemer…” And you will find that He will redeem you because your Redeemer is strong. The Lord of hosts is His name. He will thoroughly plead your case, causing only blessings of wisdom, deliverance, restoration, prosperity and liberty to come out of your situation!

Just as Ruth lay at Boaz’s feet, the feet of Jesus is the place of redemption and blessings. Both Jairus the synagogue ruler (Mark 5:22) and the Syro-Phoenician woman (Mark 7:25–26) fell at Jesus’ feet. And there at His feet they received healing for their daughters.

When you take your place at Jesus’ feet, looking to Him for help, expect to receive His blessings. There is nothing to fear knowing that as Boaz did for Ruth, Jesus, your heavenly Boaz, will do for you all that you have requested!

See The Miraculous When You Give Thanks

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.    John 11:41

Jesus lived a life of thanksgiving. He always thanked His Father for what He had and for always hearing Him when He prayed. That was how He released miracles in His life.

In the story of the feeding of the five thousand (John 6:1–13), Jesus’ attitude was one of thankfulness. He took a little boy’s lunch of five loaves and two fish, gave thanks and had them distributed. He gave thanks for the little that was there and the little multiplied. Not only did the people eat as much as they wanted, there were 12 baskets full of leftovers!

So when you see the meager balance in your bank account, thank the Lord for what you have. That’s your “five loaves and two fish”. When you give Him thanks that He is your provider and the source of your supply, in spite of the little you have, your little will become much, with leftovers!

Even when faced with the impossible, the solution was still, “Father, I thank You…” When Jesus stood outside Lazarus’ tomb, and the people took away the stone that was covering the tomb, He did not see the situation as hopeless and impossible. He simply lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.” Then, He proceeded to call forth Lazarus, and the man came forth alive once more!

The raising of Lazarus, who had been dead for more than four days, was one of Jesus’ greatest miracles. And He accomplished this by saying, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.” He thanked His way to an awesome miracle.

My friend, the next time you find yourself praying, “God, please do this for me! Please give me…” stop! Instead, say, “Thank You God, for hearing me. And because You have heard me, I thank You that I have what I asked for.” And when you thank God, the little that you have will multiply. Your impossible situations will turn around to reflect God’s provision. And resurrection life will hit you!

Thought For The Day
When you give Him thanks for the little you have, your little will become much, with leftovers!

A COVENANT OF GRACE

AA

Saviour toward man appeared…Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs.”(Titus 3:4,6-7)

A covenant of grace. That’s what you and I have with Almighty God. If you could truly grasp the significance of that, you’d never be the same again.

What exactly is a covenant of grace? It’s a relationship of favor that gives you access to someone else’s power. That’s grace. God’s willingness to enter into blood covenant with you and give you everything He has in exchange for everything you have.

He took your sin to give you His righteousness. He took your sickness to give you His health. He took your poverty in order to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory. Whenever He asks you to do something, He provides everything you need to carry it out.

The great Jehovah, God of heaven and earth, is your Father God. Can you understand that? If you’re under the blood of Jesus, you’ve been made a covenant child of the most powerful being in the universe.

God cut with Abraham an inferior covenant  made with the blood of animals where all that Abraham was, all that he had or ever would have became the equal property of His  covenant partner. Nothing would be exclusively Abraham’s again.  During the covenant ceremony in Abraham’s day, the partners exchanged coats, each one giving their authority to the other. They exchanged weapons as a way of saying, “Your enemies are now my enemies. I’ll fight your fights as if they were my own.” They walked through the blood of slain animals, pronouncing their loyalty to one another, even to the death.  God had proven how intensely He desired to be God to him. He had given him every thing He had and bound Himself to Abraham in a relationship that could not be dissolved.

Well the good news is that God also cut with the sons and daughters of  Abraham, those of faith, a new and superior covenant established in Jesus’ blood as a result of His sacrifice that ratified our covenant with God.  A covenant where He gave us His Name (John 16:23), His authority (Matt. 28:18-20), His armor and weapons (Eph. 6:10-17). God’s word is unchanging:

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.  And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,  which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:20-23

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

As a result of what Jesus did on the Cross on Calvary, by faith everything is ours now.  Jesus Christ has substituted all things on the cross for us and exchanged it there for us. Our death, defeat and poverty and curses have been nailed to the Cross. On the Cross Jesus Christ not only won real victory and redemption over sin and death and the world, but also over the wicked arch enemy Satan and all his angels who had made the Cross necessary by what he did to Adam and Eve.

The enemy had deceived and entrapped Adam and Eve to sin against God and live a life that was cursed and full of toil and trouble.  But on the Cross Jesus Christ did the great exchange.  He exchanged His sinlessness for our sins, His righteousness for our unrighteousness, His strength for our weakness, His boundless supply for our needs, His stripes for our healing, His riches for our poverty, His victories for our defeats, His glory for our shame, His triumphs for our disappointments, His Honor for our nothingness, His prosperity for our lacks, His joy for our sadness, and His fullness for our emptiness. But all of this is also something that must be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit before we can understand and partake of it fully. Yet it is all our birthright and the blessing of the fullness of the gospel of Christ.

The message of the cross and the Gospel is not only that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. He is now is seated at the right hand of the Father with all power given unto Him in heaven and earth waiting for His enemies to be made His footstool.  But the message of the cross and the Gospel is also that as a result of the victories Jesus won on the cross, He has now given and shared all that He has with us (John 16:14) and He is also with and for us continually (Matthew 28:18-20).

God in Christ Jesus has literally become our inheritance and great reward; as well as everything else which we need, including our healer and deliverer. As result of the Cross, God said about Jesus and of us who have become strong and overcomers:

Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12

As a result of the cross, in Christ Jesus, we are rich, victorious and have a new life in Christ Jesus, as we walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.  The empty Cross now also stands as a reminder and says to the world and to all the demons of Hell “You did your worst, but God gave His best.”  Now things are no longer the same, because Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting for His enemies to be submitted to Him. He has also now given us the power to subdue all His and our enemies through the use of His name and Word and dependence of the Spirit. Hence the Cross is also a real testimony of what God’s power can do no matter what the Hell or injustice that the world or the devil will throw at us.  For Jesus’ resurrection after a cruel and awful death signifies the real possibility of total and complete victory in our lives, hearts and circumstances as well in the current time of life as we trust in God just like Jesus did.

The empty Cross of Christ at Calvary now says to you and I, that for every defeat there is victory in its place, for every failure there is success, for every endeavor there is prosperity, for every weakness there is grace, for every sickness there is healing, for every hatred there is love, for every injustice there is justice and for every poverty there is riches. All of this and much, much more belongs to each child of God because of what Jesus did and won on the Cross. Hence we can by the Holy Spirit understand what the Lord said to Apostle Paul:

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

Our strength and victory comes from God Himself and all the victories He had won for us on the Cross of Calvary. Although in the annuals of time and history, our Creator God died on the Cross-on Calvary, but He didn’t stay there. He arose triumphant and victorious over everything, over the worst that the devil or others could throw at or do to Him and to us.   Because of the cross of Christ, God has reconciled all things to Himself whether things on earth or things in heaven for Jesus having wiped out all the enemies of His people and especially the requirements that were against them, He has taken it out of the way having nailed to the cross.

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords with His unlimited and unimaginable power and riches was never poor or debased. But He chose, because of us, to leave behind his infinite power and riches become a man and identify and relate to humanity in all its sufferings and ways. God in Christ Jesus stripped Himself of His royalty and Kingship. He then became an ordinary man and walked with men doing by faith and dependence on the Holy Spirit the impossible such as healing the sick, raising the dead and cast out demons. He did it all to show that we can do it also. Then the innocent Son of man and Son of God went to a Cross-on a hill called Calvary where He bled and died for all of humanity. But the Cross-was not the end of Jesus Christ or life, it was the beginning of something new, a New Covenant or New Testament. It was the beginning of a new life and a new man and a new Spirit for those who would accept what Jesus had done for them. It was the beginning of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh. As a result God’s word was now true:

“But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:  ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,  That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;  Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,  Your young men shall see visions,  Your old men shall dream dreams.  And on My menservants and on My maidservants  I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above  And signs in the earth beneath:  Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness,  And the moon into blood,  Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.  And it shall come to pass  That whoever calls on the name of the LORD  Shall be saved.’ Joel 2:16-21

Now all flesh can be saved, healed and delivered and walk in the newness of life in the power of the Holy Spirit. All men can prophesy, speak in tongues and be filled with the fullness of God.  The good news of the Cross-is that the different victories that Jesus won there, and the resulting New Covenant with all its rights and privileges, is now ours to be claimed and accepted by faith. They will be true if we will only believe, accept, confess and act on it and then allow the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead to change us. Jesus won for us, on the Cross, such a victory with such power and might that it made hell tremble and Heaven sing with joy as the Triumph of Victory resounded from one part of Heaven to another. Our ears will tingle and our hearts will sing, as the faithful and mighty Holy Spirit reveals this victory to us.

The fact remains that Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, is sitting at the right hand of the throne of God, ready to use His power on behalf of the good of His true children; to make them more than conquerors in all things that the world, the flesh and the devil would throw at them. For His word is unchanging:

“And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. “Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:23-24

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

In the world lack of strength and dependence on others is considered weakness, but in the kingdom of God weakness that causes us to depend on and trust in the Lord is great strength and blessings. For it is when the power of Christ rest upon us, because of our weakness, that we are truly strong. As it is then that we rest upon the Lord and walk in the power of His might and Spirit and not our own. As we by faith tap into all the riches and resources of heaven which are now ours by Christ Jesus because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross two thousand years ago we become more than conquerors. It is when the power of Christ rest upon us, because of our weakness, that we are truly strong. For it is then that we rest upon the Lord and walk in the power of His might and Spirit and not our own.

Yes, as a result of the victories Jesus won on the cross we are now delivered from the hand of our enemies, and are able to serve the Lord without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life. Just like Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit stated about God and us:

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,  For He has visited and redeemed His people,  And has raised up a horn of salvation for us  In the house of His servant David,  As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,  Who have been since the world began,  That we should be saved from our enemies  And from the hand of all who hate us,  To perform the mercy promised to our fathers  And to remember His holy covenant,   The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:  To grant us that we,  Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,  Might serve Him without fear,  In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.  Luke 1:68-75

The name of Jesus Christ is far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And God has put all things under His feet including sickness, defeat, poverty and lack and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body. So if it is under Jesus feet and we are His body it is therefore under our feet! And if it’s under believers feet then why do we allow negative things to raise their ugly heads in our lives? Because we really don’t believe that is all under Jesus feet. We are like the prodigal son who ended up in a pig’s pen even if his father was filthy rich. But then he came to his senses and realized what his father had and returned to his father and his negative circumstances changed.

How many of God’s people suffer needless in poverty, want or lack and with sickness or disease? Too many!  How long before they will look at themselves and say as the prodigal son who when he “came to himself” said, “I will arise and go to my Father!” God is waiting with opened arms to receive every penitent child! God is waiting with opened arms to touch, heal, deliver, and bless His children. They can can rely on Him to do what He has promised to do! We need to understand the reality of all the victories that Jesus won on the cross of Calvary. God’s word is unchanging:

Jesus departed from there, skirted the Sea of Galilee, and went up on the mountain and sat down there. Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.  So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. Matthew 15:29-31

Yes, the Word of God tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and we can be made whole through our faith in the finished work of Calvary where Jesus Christ wounded for our transgressions, was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Sin, sickness or any other curse doesn’t have to rule and reign in our lives because Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”) that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14).

Jesus has provided for our healing, Spirit, Soul and Body in the atonement. All of the provision of the cross must impact the body of Christ. Jesus Paid the Price for our Healing – “By His Stripes”  (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)  Hence we are anointed and sent to:  Preach the Good News to the Needy,  Bind up the Brokenhearted, Proclaim Freedom for the Captives, Release the Prisoners from Darkness,  Proclaim the Year of the LORD’s Favor, To Comfort all Who Mourn, To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  (Isaiah 61:1-3 and Luke 4:18)

God is alive and well and present today! Jesus is still healing people! The presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit is a precious gift that we can experience and see many lives are being changed as desperate people come and find God’s grace and mercy flowing to them bringing healing and encouragement. The anointing increases as we are press in for more of God! Then we can see God save people, heal people, deliver people, baptize in the Holy Spirit, bring encouragement and strength through the gifts of the Spirit. Many can receive from the Lord healing for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs and live lives that are whole and successful.

God is love and freely gives everything we need, both for our material and for our spiritual existence. But because the blessings of God’s spirit are so freely given, we often take them for granted. If all people had open and receptive hearts, they could see and hear God’s voice at all times and in all places. But we have lost this awareness. Through prayer, we learn to appreciate spiritual gifts, gifts that are at least as important for life as air and water, heat and light.  Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. For when we have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and King by the faith God gave us, the victory now resides in us and God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask, or thing. As God’s word is unchanging:

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

It is a fact that according to the power that resides and works in us, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think and give us one hundred percent victory, one hundred percent of the time, in one hundred percent of the situations. After all He is God, not man!  It is also a fact that Jesus, now as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, is no longer poor or weak anymore as He was when He walked the earth as man. He is now once again unlimited in power, riches, strength and might.  But the best news is that God wants to use all of His power, riches, and resources on our behalf and meet our needs: If we only will believe Him and trust Him to do it for us; If we will only humble ourselves and on a bent knee give Him our all and ask for His all.  Then we shall know the truth of God’s word which states:

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37

“Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

THE GREATEST GIFT

1 Corinthians 13: The Greatest Gift is Jesus and the Holy Spirit
1    Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2    And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3    And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4    Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;
5    does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6    does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7    bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8    Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
9    For we know in part and we prophesy in part.
10    But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11    When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12    For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13    And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 14:1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

EVEN THOUGH GOD’S WORD COMMANDS CHRISTIANS WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS TO PURSUE LOVE AND DESIRE SPIRITUAL GIFTS “I WILL PROCLAIM THAT LOVE IS THE GREATEST AND IGNORE SPIRITUAL GIFTS” IS WHAT MANY FOOLISH SO CALLED CHRISTIANS DO!

AND OF COURSE THEY ALSO IGNORE THE BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT THAT JESUS TALKED ABOUT BUT PREACH ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED:

Acts 1:5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

ACTS 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;
5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.16 Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Many so called Christians have  missed the whole point for the necessity of receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  They  have no personal relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  They are religionists who have never received the real, authentic Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Religionists are full of absence of the references to the Holy Spirit, on whom Jesus was dependent for everything including doing miracles, teaching and preaching!

When they talk about “the Word of God”, like most evangelicals, they are  referring to the Bible.  They do not realize or want to, that although we have the written word of God in the Scriptures, we have the living Word of God in Jesus Christ Himself and that the Holy Spirit equips the Church with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and changes us be removing the works of the flesh and replacing them with the Fruit of the Spirit.

The one thing that blessed me when I received  the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was that Jesus can actually talk to people and the biggest surprise of all is that He talked to me. Religionists  believe that everyone receives the Holy Spirit when they believe which is hogwash  because they cannot be a true worship service when people have  nothing to do with what Paul writes in 1 & 2 Corinthians using the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

True authentic Christians see  and observe that “the birth of the Church happened on the Day of Pentecost” when the 120 believers  were Baptized with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues and were sent into the world to be witnesses and the proof, as you know, was the “Signs Following”.   This life is empowered by the Holy Spirit so the Holy Spirit can be our Counsellor and which means that He is supposed to talk with us and give us direction for the Church and individuals (Jn. 15: 7 – 15; Rev. 2: 7, 11, 17, 29; 3: 6, 11, 22).

When Bible teachers talk about the Bible being a “Paper Pope”, what they are referring to a person who does not have the personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have never received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  They are what I call godly men but they are not “Spiritual Men” meaning they are as Paul described, “Any one who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him’ (Rm. 8: 9).  What he describe as “true worship” is not the worship that Paul described (1 Cor. 14: 26f).
The New Testament is the written Covenant/Testament which we have been given to know what God law (the law of Christ, the royal law) is so that when we hear the Spoken Word from Jesus, the Holy Spirit, we cannot be misled because true Christians know the Holy Spirit, when He gives us specific instructions about how to handle problems, He never tells us to go outside the written Word.

Religionist cannot say, as Paul wrote, ….nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.   They  can only say, I know what I have believed but never Whom which means the personal relationship with our God.   For a while people were preoccupied with a book entitle, “What Would Jesus Do”.  The author would guess about what Jesus would do.  It told me something about the author because if you want to know what Jesus would do….JUST ASK HIM AND HE WILL TELL YOU.

When Jesus said to the devil, “Man shall not  live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”, He was not talking just about the written Word, He was talking about Himself and the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father talking to us directly Himself.  The Bible does not have specific instructions about every kind of a problem that we have to deal with.  But, our Counsellor, the Holy Spirit does and Jesus does and our Heavenly Father does (all being the same and one person).

THE APOSTLE IS NOT A TITLE BUT A GIFT
Eph. 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Not titles but gifts. Apostles are birth out of the five fold ministry, The Father is so incrediable in what he does and his order of doing it. 1 Cor 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, the Apostle is first gift that God set in the church. The Apostles were the first to pastor churches not pastors.

Everyone that say they are an Apostle must meet the criteria of an Apostle, according to 1Cor.12:12 Truly the signs of an Apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds. The office Apostle must be accompanied with signs and wonders that is part of the function of a Apostle. Many of our so called Apostle today are in title only.

WINDOWS IN HEAVEN

BF

2 Kings 7:
1    Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the LORD: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ”
2    So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”
The Syrians Flee
3    Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die?
4    If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.”
5    And they rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians; and when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there.
6    For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses — the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!”
7    Therefore they arose and fled at twilight, and left the camp intact — their tents, their horses, and their donkeys — and they fled for their lives.
8    And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried from it silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid them; then they came back and entered another tent, and carried some from there also, and went and hid it.

Don’t live life in mediocrity, bound by addictions, negative and defeated. Press forward and take hold of everything God has in store for you.

Beloved, today when you are caught in a situation and you don’t know what to do, who and what do you look to?

Joseph in the Bible knew that God was the source of his wisdom. When Pharaoh said, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it,” Joseph immediately replied, “It is not in me; God will give

Pharaoh an answer of peace” (Genesis 41:15–16). Have you noticed that Joseph was not looking to himself to provide an answer? He was looking to the wisdom of God. When Joseph gave Pharaoh the interpretation, Pharaoh saw that the Spirit of God was in Joseph and that there was none who was as wise and as discerning as Joseph. And Pharaoh placed Joseph in charge of the whole of Egypt (Genesis 41:38–41).

So today in your situation, stop looking to yourself for the answer but ask the Lord for wisdom. The Bible tells us in James 1:5 that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach. Beloved, Jesus is the source of your wisdom and the answer to every situation you face

Do you know that 2000 years ago, Jesus who knew no sin became sin for us? At the cross, the full extent of God’s fiery indignation for our sins fell upon Jesus at the cross. There, Jesus cried out, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’ because God turned His back on Him, when He needed God the most.

Beloved, God forsook His own Son at the cross so that today He will never leave us nor forsake us. What is it that you are going through today? Know that even when you are down and out, God is still with you and His face of favor is shining on you. Because of the finished work, you can come boldly into His presence and find Him right there with you and for you, comforting you and loving you. Amen!

For Profit Mix With Faith

FB

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.  For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:  “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4:1-3

The children of Israel after they were delivered from their oppressors, the Egyptians, didn’t go into the promised land but wandered in the wilderness until they dropped dead because they believed the evil  report of the cowardly spies who themselves died by the plague before the LORD. But Joshua and Caleb who fully followed the Lord along with their households went into the Promised Land. It’s also a fact that when God walked the earth as the Son of Man and Son of God in Christ Jesus He didn’t do much miracles where there was unbelief. The bible records:

And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?  “Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?    “And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?”  So they were offended at Him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”  Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:54-58

Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.  And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.  And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits. Mark 6:6-7

The problem we have today is that too many of God’s people are listening to pastors, priests and preachers who know only slightly more than them. They listen to pastors, priests and preachers who have a form of godliness but deny its power. Pastors, priests and preachers who don’t do what Jesus has commanded them to do:

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.  And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:14-20

It’s a fact that people need real miracles and healing and not just words that are dead the moment they are spoken because they don’t have life in them. Life comes from God and His Spirit and not from them. Life gives life and not just empty promises of a pie in the sky! God’s word is unchanging:

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know- Acts 2:22

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8
Phillip was not an apostle but an ordinary layman filled with faith and the Spirit of God to serve upon the widows. And if Philip could have a miracle ministry than any pastors, priest and preacher can if He is a true man of God. For the same Spirit that was on Jesus is available to be on all His servants. God’s word is unchanging:

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,  The Spirit of counsel and might,  The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.  His delight is in the fear of the LORD, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,  Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;  He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.  Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,  And faithfulness the belt of His waist. Isaiah 11:1-5

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,  Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;  To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” Luke 4:18-19

Yes, the same anointing that was upon David, Jesus and all the Apostles is to be on all of God’s servants today!  Yes, they can have the same Spirit of the LORD resting upon them, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.  As a result their delight will be in the fear of the LORD, and they shall not judge by the sight of their eyes, nor decide by the hearing of their ears; But by the Spirit of the LORD with righteousness they shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; they shall strike the earth with the rod of their mouths, And with the breath of their  lips they shall slay the wicked.  God’s word is unchanging:
And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; “for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.  “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:4-8
For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. 1 Corinthians 1:17

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.  For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.  I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,  that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:1-5

MAKE ALL THINGS NEW

FD

GOD HAS PROMISED TO DO A NEW THING!

ISAIAH 43:10     ” You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, ” And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.
11     I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior.
12     I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the LORD, “that I am God.
13     Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?”
14     Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: ” For your sake I will send to Babylon, And bring them all down as fugitives — The Chaldeans, who rejoice in their ships.
15     I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”
16     Thus says the LORD, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,
17     Who brings forth the chariot and horse, The army and the power (They shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick):
18     ” Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
19     Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
20     The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen.
21     This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

ONLY BELIEVE GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL THINGS NEW AND TO RESTORE

Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Luke 850 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”

Revelation 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Zechariah 9:12  Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare That I will restore double to you.

Acts 28:9 So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.

1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed.

John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

ISAIAH 32:15     Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
16     Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, And righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
17     The work of righteousness will be peace, And the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
18     My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, In secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places,
19     Though hail comes down on the forest, And the city is brought low in humiliation.
20     Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, Who send out freely the feet of the ox and the donkey.

BALAAM’S ASS

BBBALAAM’S ASS DIDN’T GO TO HEAVEN

2 Peter 2:15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Jude 1:11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.

MOST MODERN DAY PREACHERS SEEM TO RUN GREEDILY IN THE ERROR OF BALAAM FOR PROFIT AND HAVE MADE GOD VERY ANGRY ABOUT IT!

Numbers 22:22    Then God’s anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the LORD took His stand in the way as an adversary against him. And he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.
23    Now the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.
24    Then the Angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side.
25    And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again.
26    Then the Angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
27    And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff.
28    Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”
29    And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”
30    So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.”
31    Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.
32    And the Angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to stand against you, because your way is perverse before Me.
33    The donkey saw Me and turned aside from Me these three times. If she had not turned aside from Me, surely I would also have killed you by now, and let her live.”
34    And Balaam said to the Angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will turn back.”
35    Then the Angel of the LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but only the word that I speak to you, that you shall speak.” So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

Balaan was a prophet (Numbers 23:5) “The LORD put a message in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this message.” He was not an Israelite apparently and came from Assyria /Iraq – Num 22:4-5. And he had been commissioned by an enemy of Israel and was on his way to curse the Israelites; whom God had blessed.

When first asked to go and Curse Israel he enquired of God, was told “Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed.” and he sent them away.

When they asked again he enquired and, v20

That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.”

When he went, his donkey was stopped by the angel who eventually appeared to Balaam, causing him to acknowledge his error . v32

I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If she had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared her.” Balaam said to the angel of the LORD , “I have sinned. I did not realize you were standing in the road to oppose me. Now if you are displeased, I will go back.”

NOW JUST BECAUSE GOD USED  AN ASS TO SPEAK TO BALAAM DOESN’T MEAN AN ASS GOES TO HEAVEN?

D.B WROTE TO ME::
Bro walt I’m a little confused..you had something saying joseph prince preaches cheap grace and other days you promote the guy by posting his teachings…. Are you for him or against him?

WALTER REPLIED:
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

I AM GLAD TO SEE YOU ARE CONFUSED BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT YOU LACK DISCERNMENT AND NEED TO LISTEN TO THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT TO MEN INCLUDING ME

NOW AS TO JOSEPH PRINCE A PARENT LOVES HIS CHILD BUT STILL REBUKES AND CORRECTS HIM?

FORGIVENESS IS NOT CHRISTIANITY? JESUS ONLY FORGIVES THOSE WHO REPENT. REPENTANCE AND REBUKE IS CHRISTIANITY? Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

JOSEPH PRINCE  IS A MAN OF POSITIVE FAITH WHO TALKS  WHO TALKS RIGHTLY ABOUT GOD AND HIS GRACE BUT HE IS FALSE JUST LIKE JOEL OSTEEN IN THAT HE DOESN’T REBUKE NO ONE INCLUDING HIS FRIEND BI SEXUAL PAUL CROUCH THE ARROGANT FALSE ONE!

NOW GOD USES ALL KINDS OF PEOPLE  AND THINGS TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE INCLUDING AN ASS BUT AN ASS DOESN’T GO TO HEAVEN? SO JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A GREAT PREACHER AND DO MIRACLES SIGNS AND WONDERS DOESN’T MEAN YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN ACCORDING TO JESUS

MATTHEW 7:You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
15    “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16    You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17    Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18    A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19    Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20    Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
I Never Knew You
21    “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22    Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23    And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

MATTHEW 15:7    Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:
8    ‘ These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.
9    And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

JOSEPH PRINCE IS A WORD OF FAITH PREACHER WHO LOVES TO EMPHASIZE  ONE DOCTRINE PRIMARILY GRACE WHICH IS WRONG. AS I POSTED MY OPINION  Rodney W. Francis IS A TYPICAL WOF PREACHER WHO PERVERTS AND DISTORTS GOD’S WORD
IE HE SAYS “But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord, and of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin” (Micah 3:8) And talks about being full of power but not of rebuking and exposing transgression and sin in Christians, which is something that most Christians are loathe to do!

FOR THE RECORD PASTOR PAULA WHITE IS AN ASS! AND AN ASS DOESN’T GO TO HEAVEN EVEN IF GOD MIGHT USE HER ON OCCASION?

GOD CAN USE ANYTHING HE WANTS AND DISPOSE OF IT AFTER HE USES IT?
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

OUR REAL ENEMY

ROCKS2

IT’S A FACT THAT YOU CAN BAN GUNS, KNIVES, STICK OR STONES BUT YOU WON’T DISARM EVIL

A man killed his mother at home and then opened fire Friday inside a Connecticut elementary school, massacring 26 people, including 20 young children, as youngsters cowered in their classrooms and trembled helplessly to the sound of gunfire reverberating through the building.

The shooter, shot his mother, in the face at their home, then went to nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School where she taught and gunned down her entire class, bringing the death toll to 28.

More souls were lost in the school shooting in Connecticut yesterday than in all terrorist attacks combined on United States soil since September 11, 2001.

But gunmen are far less dangerous than our real enemy – THE THIEF. It is written in Ephesians 6:12 that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood but against the despotisms, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly ( supernatural) sphere.

John 10:10 says, ” the thief (satan) comes ONLY in order to steal and kill and destroy.”

The devil, according to Jesus, comes to steal, kill and destroy EVERYTHING GOOD in your life. Destroy your job, your joy, your finances, your happiness, your health, your marriage and your kids. He comes to RUIN ANYTHING he gets his hands on.

Thief comes from the Greek word “klepto” which means uncontrollable urge TO STEAL, who is “artful” in the way he steals. Therefore he steals in such a deceptive way that he often accomplishes his goals before we even know he has stolen from us. The devil often “injects” thoughts into our minds TO STEAL our peace and joy.

The devil according to the verse comes TO KILL, which comes from the Greek word “thuo” which refers to sacrificial giving or surrender anything precious or dear. The thief cannot bear the fact that you possess any kind of blessing. Therefore if he is unsuccessful at stealing the good things from your life, he will try to cunningly convince you to give up everything you possess and love- simply because he doesn’t want you to have it. He will try to create stressful situations for you to be able to sacrifice the things you dearly love. Like the gunman mentioned in the report, for sure he dearly loves his mother but somehow satan made him surrender his mom, his everything.

And lastly, he comes TO DESTROY which comes from the Greek word “apollumi” which means to put out of the way entirely, to put an end. It carries the idea of something that is ruined, wasted, trashed, devastated and destroyed. If the thief is unsuccessful in his attempts to steal from you or convince you to sacrifice what you hold dear, HE WILL THEN TRY TO RUIN IT AND PUT AN END TO IT.

The devil is always looking for an opportunity to wiggle his way so deeply into your personal affairs. When he is finished stealing all you hold dear (your family, relationships, your job, your property, your health) he will take his plan to rob you blind to the next level. The goal of this thief is to TOTALLY WASTE AND DEVASTATE YOUR LIFE. If nothing stops him,he will leave you flat, broke and cleaned out in every area of your life.

Make no mistake because the enemy’s ultimate goal is to obliterate you, to destroy you completely.

But JESUS went to say further in John 10:10, ” I HAVE COME THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE LIFE, AND THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY.”

In our daily walk with God, we experience times when the devil pushes buttons in our emotions to keep us upset, angry and depressed. Sometimes the enemy will disguise his voice to make you think God is talking to you to get you off track. The devil wants you to feel like you struggle thru your entire life, to be sick, depressed and miserable.

When the devil attacks occur, tell him TO SHUT UP & STOP DROPPING those unwanted thoughts of nonsense into your head. TELL HIM YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BITE THE BAIT ANY LONGER- so he may go fishing somewhere else. TELL HIM YOU KNOW HOW HE WORKS NOW and you won’t allow him to steal, kill or destroy one more good thing in your life.

JESUS will give you THE POWER TO RESIST every attack and to overcome every strategy the devil ever tries to use against you. Ephesians 6:11 says, “Put on God’s whole armour (the armour of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies), that you may be able successfully to stand up against the strategies and the deceits of the devil.”

SO STAND YOUR GROUND AND GIVE THE FIRST BLOW!

Hear me out America, While I am still on my knees praying for Newtown families, tightening gun control law is not good enough without RETURNING PRAYER BACK TO SCHOOLS! On April 16, 1607, John Smith and his crew from Britain, came ashore the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia, and erected a WOODEN CROSS. There and then, America was dedicated to God as a baby! This was the beginning of our blessings and the Freedom we all have! The COVENANT John Smith & his crew made with God was sealed with the BLOOD of Jesus by erecting a WOODEN CROSS at the Coast of Virginia, which is still there today. America is a nation founded on God! America is born of God! In God we Trust! God bless America! We have His Name on our Flags, we have it on our money, why not in the hearts of our children? Our children are the fathers & mothers of tomorrow! RETURNING PRAYER BACK TO SCHOOLS will bring God to our schools on a daily basis. To pray with our children before school begins daily and remind them to love one another will make a big difference in their lives. May God consoles the families of the victims. May the souls of the 20 children killed rest in perfect peace. And may God bless America & her Christian Heritage! Amen. Charles Alimi

WOE WOE WOE

BFHEBREWS 12:4    Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

God doesn’t have to condemn what is has already condemned and that includes fornicators, adulterers and others who are sexual immoral!

As usual, after observing my normal long warfare prayers this morning, I heard a warning from the Lord saying woe unto those that practice gay marriages, woe unto the churches that legalizes or wed same sex in marriage: woe unto the homosexual clergies who rise up to perform same sex marriage; woe unto the nations or government that rise up to legalize as law, gay marriage between homosexuals and lesbians: are these not the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah, wherein I denounced and destroyed the nations to ashes:

Leviticus 18:22 “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”
Leviticus 20:13 “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their blood guiltiness is upon them.”

Genesis 19:1-14
—— Before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter; and they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations with them.” But Lot went out to them at the doorway, and shut the door behind him, and said, “Please, my brothers, do not act wickedly. Now behold, I have two daughters who have not had relations with man; please let me bring them out to you, and do to them whatever you like; only do nothing to these men, inasmuch as they have come under the shelter of my roof.” But they said, “Stand aside.” Furthermore, they said, “This one came in as an alien, and already he is acting like a judge; now we will treat you worse than them.” So they pressed hard against Lot and came near to break the door. But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves trying to find the doorway. Then the men said to Lot, “Whom else have you here? A son-in-law, and your sons, and your daughters, and whomever you have in the city, bring them out of the place; for we are about to destroy this place, because their outcry has become so great before the LORD that the LORD has sent us to destroy it.

Hear this God is not a respecter of any man, group of intellectuals, theologies, or government; he explicitly denounced the behaviors about homosexual relationship both in the old and new testament of the bible:

2 Peter 2:6-10 “…and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly thereafter; and if He rescued righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men (for by what he saw and heard that righteous man, while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day with their lawless deeds), then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties…”

Peter clarifies the fact that the homosexual men of Sodom are under the judgment of God for their corrupt desire to “indulge the flesh

Jude 1:7 “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example, in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.”

The homosexuals of Sodom were seeking after “strange flesh” in that they wanted to have sex with other men.

Romans 1:26-27 “For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Timothy 1:9-10 “…realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous man, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching…”

The words of scripture are direct, clear and uncompromising. There may be many issues and topics that are not clearly addressed in the Bible, but homosexuality is simply not one of them. From these passages, we can safely deduce how God feels about homosexuality; God says that homosexuals are…

Genesis 1:27 “And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”

Man, by himself, is not the ‘image’ of God; men AND women together reflect the complete nature of God’s ‘image’. Men are incomplete without women and women are incomplete without men

GOD’S DESIGN FOR THE FAMILY

Genesis 2:18-25 “Then the LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.’ And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. And the man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh at that place. And the LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. And the man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.’ For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.”

Man, on his own, is incomplete; it’s not good for him to be alone. And notice that the Bible tells us that the only suitable partner for a man is a woman. From the earliest scripture in the Bible, it is clear that human beings are designed for opposite sex unions and relationships. Men and women together are designed to form unions (“cleave”) and become “one flesh”. Why? Well, part of it has to do with the distinct nature of each sex. Men and women are obviously different from a physical and emotional perspective, and together they create a union that best reflects the image of God in its diversity and depth. But more than that, the relationship and union of men and women has a distinct purpose; men and women come together in unions for the purpose of having and raising children:
Proverbs 19:14: Proverbs 18:22: Matthew 19:4-6: Mark 10:6: Ephesians 5:22-33
Hebrews 13:4.”

The institution of marriage is to be honored in a way that differentiates it from other relationships. Marriage is to be revered, encouraged, honored and promoted as the specific and God-given relationship between men and women. Once again, the words of scripture are direct, clear and uncompromising. There may be many issues and topics that are not clearly addressed in the Bible, but marriage is simply not one of them. From these passages, we can safely deduce how God feels about marriage; God says that the institution of marriage is…

  • A union between a man and a woman only
  • The union that best reflects the ‘image’ of God
  • The only union that is ‘suitable’ based on the nature of human beings
  • A union that joins men and women permanently as they ‘cleave’ to one another
  • The union and context in which children are to be conceived and raised
  • The only union that is God given and approved
  • A union that should be committed, lasting and inseparable
  • A union in which women submit to men and men submit to women in a sacrificial way
  • A union that should hold a special place of honor in our society
