PREACH THE WORD

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2    speaking lies in hypocrisy

2 Timothy 4:
1    I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:
2    Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3    For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4    and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
5    But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

In spite of the fact that many today will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;   and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. we are to  preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching, for God  desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The truth remains Beloved, Christ has redeemed you from sickness, lack, and destructive situations, so that the blessings of Abraham can come upon you!
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…”Gal 3:13

The power and the glory, the victory and the majesty and all that is in heaven and in earth is the LORD and He has given it to His blood bought children who are to receive it by faith and spend it for the furthering of His kingdom. Poverty and sickness are to be rejected by God’s people as from the devil. They are to seek from God His richest, honor, power and might for it’s God who gives every good thing.

Yes, God’s children must take a step of faith and to believe God to reverse and restore all things to them including their health, wealth, good name and power just like they took a step of faith to be saved. And the good news is that the very moment they pray, God gives them the answer. That very moment God hears them and He commands His angels to bring the answer to them. However they are living in a spiritual warfare where a war goes on and their enemy, the devil, will try to delay the answer from coming through to them
The majority of Jesus’ recorded miracles had to do with healing and deliverance. Jesus is God’s will in action. Beloved, the Father wants you healed, healthy, wealthy, whole, wise and strong!

 PRAY, AND KEEP PRAYING!
…Pour out your heart before Him…’ Psalm 62:8 NAS

More than anything else in life, Hannah wanted a son. And as the years passed she wrestled with disappointment and despair. ‘…and [Hannah] was in distress of soul, praying to the Lord.’ (1 Samuel 1:10 AMP) However, she did two things that worked—and they’ll work for you, too!

(1) Instead of turning away from God, she turned to Him. Instead of praying less, she prayed more. She knew that while her husband couldn’t give her a child, God could. She may not have been happy with God’s timing, but she never doubted His goodness. Unfortunately, one of the things we’re tempted to do when things fall apart is to avoid God’s presence. That’s a mistake, because He’s the one you need most! Yes, it’s hard to pray when your heart is breaking. But unless you’ve prayed with a broken heart and a deep sense of your need, you’ve never really poured out your heart before God, or learned what the Bible truly means by prayer.

(2) She didn’t just think about what she wanted, she also thought about what God wanted. ‘…she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if You will…not forget Your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to t he Lord for all the days of his life…”’ (1 Samuel 1:11 NIV) And shortly after that Samuel was conceived. When you’re willing to make a promise to God that He can hold you to (which is what a vow is), you’re getting serious about prayer. And that’s when God will get serious about your prayer as well! So, ‘pour out your heart before Him.’

PLEASE GOD NOT PEOPLE

And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. – Mark 10:43-48

The devil will always have someone available to tell us why we shouldn’t expect to get results when petitioning God. Most people would rather stay with the crowd and not do anything to draw attention to themselves even if that means not getting their needs met. They will try to make you conform as well. If this man would have listened to the crowd, he would not have received his healing. “Ye have not, because ye ask not” (Jas. 4:2).

This blind man is a good example of an active kind of faith. He was not passive in his approach toward healing. He boldly cried out to Jesus for mercy. When the crowd ridiculed him and told him to be quiet, he cried out even louder for mercy.

Many people believe that God can perform the miracle they need but relatively few are willing to actively pursue it until they get results. They are afraid of what others will think of them. This man had his attention focused only on Jesus. Nothing else mattered and that is why he got healed.

An integral part of faith is seeking God only with your whole heart. If we are concerned about what people think so that we can gain their approval, we will never take a stand in faith for anything that we might be criticized for. This one thing has probably stopped as many people from receiving from God as anything else. You cannot be a “man-pleaser” and please God at the same time. Satan uses persecutions to steal away God’s Word and thereby stop our faith. To see faith work, we must say with Paul, “let God be true, but every man a liar” (Rom. 3:4).

Our spirits are the only part of us that have experienced total redemption.

Thank God for the redemption He has provided for you today.

Victory over death, victory over hell, victory over sickness and disease, victory over lack, and bondage of every kind. There is VICTORY IN THE BLOOD!

SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING …

The earth was formless and void…and God said, Let there be light. – Genesis 1:2–3, NASB

Are you believing God for something that seems impossible? We serve a great and mighty God and He can create something out of nothing! He can make a way when there seems to be no way. Before God spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void. If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too. He can speak light into your darkest hour. He can take your formless dreams and give them shape. He can resurrect your dormant gifts and talents! He can make your crooked places straight! Trust Him in all things because He can make something out of nothing!

THE SPIRIT’S REST AND REFRESHING

Isaiah 28:11–12 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, to whom He said, “This is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest,” and, “This is the refreshing”…

To counter stress, many people resort to tobacco, alcohol or tranquilizers. These things, besides having harmful side effects, are costly and often lead to addictions.

God has something better for us. It is powerful, costs us nothing and has no harmful side effects. He calls it “the rest” and “the refreshing”. What is He referring to? Speaking in tongues—“For with stammering lips and another tongue…”

One of our church members was on medication for nine long years for a host of problems: severe depression, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, chronic sinusitis, gastritis and panic attacks. Every day, he had to take up to 30 tablets to keep these conditions under control.

He suffered from such bad sinusitis that he had to visit the hospital regularly to drain the mucus. He could not sleep much—at most three hours—even with sleeping pills. And because of his panic attacks, he could not go to work and seldom left his house. His wife had to look after him and their three kids. The side effects of the long-term medication also caused his physique to balloon.

One day, he felt God prompting him to pray in tongues as often as he could. He obeyed. The moment he started to pray in tongues, even though it was just a few syllables, he felt a rest, a peace. This encouraged him to pray in tongues more. And the more he prayed in tongues, the more rest and peace he felt.

His sinuses began to clear up and he was healed of gastritis. Slowly, the fears and panic attacks left him too. He also started to have quality sleep without the sleeping pills! The Lord even taught him how he was to eat—two meals a day, but to eat whatever he wanted. Today, he is back to his normal weight!

Through praying in tongues regularly, God delivered this man from a host of long-term illnesses. My friend, this is the rest and the refreshing which God has promised us. So start praying in tongues regularly, and let His rest and peace saturate your entire being!

PLAN FOR GOOD

… those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness. – Proverbs 14:22, NIV

Do you wake up every morning expecting favor and blessing on everything you do? Do you plan for what is good? When we plan for what is good, the Scripture tells us that we find love. We know that God is love so when you plan for what is good, you will find God in the midst of your plans!

Today, don’t let the negative voices of the world or get you distracted or pull you off course. It doesn’t matter what is happening around you, God’s plan is always for your good. Pursue His plan. Seek love and faithfulness because what you seek you will find. Put Him first in all you do and find the peace, joy, and victory He has in store for you!

HEALTHIER, STRONGER EACH DAY

Acts 2:46 – So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

Back then in the early church, Christians would meet each other every day, either corporately in the temple or from house to house in smaller groups. And when they met in their homes, the Bible tells us that they would break bread. That’s the Holy Communion, and they took it every day!

Now, I am not saying that you must take the Holy Communion every day. But if you feel led to and you want to, go ahead! The thing about taking the Holy Communion daily is this: If you are sick, you can be made well on a gradual basis. This means that you get healthier and stronger from day to day—first thirtyfold, then sixtyfold, then a hundredfold!

You see, while you can receive healing through the prayer of faith (Mark 11:24), it sometimes puts pressure on you because it requires you to believe that you receive it all—complete healing—the moment you pray. There is nothing wrong with the prayer of faith, but you may find yourself saying, “I must believe I receive it all, now! I must believe I have it all, now!”

But the Holy Communion allows you to receive a measure of healing every time you partake in faith, so that you get better and better. The more you take it, the better you become. There is no pressure to believe that you receive it all at once. Isn’t God good? He meets you at your level of faith!

Now, there are cases I know of in our church, in my family and in my own life, where the manifestation of healing is immediate and complete. If it happens that way, praise God! But if not, don’t worry. The more you partake, the better you will become.

I know of people who take the Holy Communion three times a day, just like they would medicine! Why not? My friend, if you are very sick and you are diligently taking your medication three times a day, why not give the Lord’s Supper the same amount of attention? Why not boost your recovery rate? And the next time you eat the bread and drink the cup, you may just find your disease totally gone!

THE POWER OF WORDS

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. —Proverbs 18:21

Nelson Mandela, who opposed the South African apartheid regime and was imprisoned for almost 3 decades, knew the power of words. He is often quoted today, but while in prison his words could not be quoted for fear of repercussion. A decade after his release he said: “It is never my custom to use words lightly. If 27 years in prison have done anything to us, it was to use the silence of solitude to make us understand how precious words are, and how real speech is in its impact on the way people live and die.”

King Solomon, author of most of the Old Testament book of Proverbs, wrote often about the power of words. He said, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Prov.18:21). Words have the potential to produce positive or negative consequences (v. 20). They have the power to give life through encouragement and honesty or to crush and kill through lies and gossip. How can we be assured of producing good words that have a positive outcome? The only way is by diligently guarding our hearts: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (4:23 niv).

Jesus can transform our hearts so that our words can truly be their best—honest, calm, appropriate, and suitable for the situation. —Marvin Williams

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

Our words have the power to build up or tear down.

GOD IS IN IT WITH YOU …

Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Do you feel misunderstood and forsaken by the people you love? Have you been falsely accused and stripped of everything, without a dime to your name? Maybe today, you feel that you have hit rock bottom and you wonder if you can ever rise again.

Joseph, who was sold by his brothers into slavery (Genesis 37:28), went through all these experiences and emotions. Still, he was conscious that God was in it with him every step of the way. Though his life was a “mess”, he believed that it was not an accident. Though the things that were happening to him were not good, he believed that God was making all things work together for his good. And it was indeed so—Joseph eventually rose to occupy the most powerful position in Egypt, second only to Pharaoh. (Genesis 41:40)

Probably, this consciousness that God was in it with him was the reason he forgave his brothers when he met them again later in his life. Joseph told them, “But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.” (Genesis 45:5)

So like Joseph, whatever you are facing now, be conscious that God is in it with you. Be Jesus-conscious. Though you may have nothing or not much now in the natural, the truth is that you have everything when you have Jesus!

The same Jesus who went around blessing others with 12 baskets full of leftovers, a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fishes, and who never impoverished anybody, will empower you to succeed in life. The same Jesus who went about doing good will cause good to explode in your life. The same Jesus who went about healing the sick and never giving anyone sickness will keep you in divine health and protect you from harm.

Beloved, because “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), as He was with Joseph, He is with you right now. And He will empower you to live the high life—the abundant life in which you will see God’s promises manifest!

CONFESS GOD’S TRUTH …

Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. – John 11:14

Jesus spoke of Lazarus being asleep instead of dead because that is really a much better description. Death, to their carnal minds, would be final; whereas the word “sleep” would not. When the disciples misunderstood what He was saying, He clarified the situation by saying plainly, “Lazarus is dead.”

This looks like a contrary statement to what Jesus was going to do (raise Lazarus from the dead) and indeed it would have been if He had left it at that. But He went on to say in verse 15, “I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe.” This was referring to Lazarus being raised from the dead and it turned Jesus’ statement of a negative fact into a positive confession of faith.

Many people have been confused over this very issue. Many times people will refuse to speak of or acknowledge any situation that is contrary to a promise that God has given them. It is certainly desirable to avoid talking about our problems and there is scriptural precedent for this (2 Ki. 4:20, 26). In this very instance, Jesus avoided using a word to describe Lazarus’ situation that would have instilled fear into His disciples’ hearts. But when dealing with people who didn’t understand, He didn’t deny the natural facts.

A true, positive confession doesn’t deny natural truth. It just refuses to stop at the natural realm and speaks forth the greater spiritual truth. This is what Jesus did and we should follow His example. Therefore, it is not wrong to acknowledge a physical problem such as sickness just as long as we acknowledge to an equal or greater degree the spiritual truth, “by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Pet. 2:24). Don’t deny that problems exist, just deny those problems the right to continue to exist in your life by confessing your faith in God.

I HAVE COME TO HELP

Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. —James 1:22

Reporter Jacob Riis’s vivid descriptions of poverty in 19th-century New York City horrified a generally complacent public. His book How the Other Half Lives combined his writing with his own photographs to paint a picture so vivid that the public could not escape the certainty of poverty’s desperate existence. The third of fifteen children himself, Riis wrote so effectively because he had lived in that world of terrible despair.

Shortly after the release of his book, he received a card from a young man just beginning his political career. The note read simply, “I have read your book, and I have come to help. Theodore Roosevelt.” (This politician later became a US President.)

True faith responds to the needs of others, according to James (1:19-27). May our hearts be moved from inaction to action, from words alone to deeds that back them up. Compassionate action not only aids those mired in life’s difficulties, but it may also make them open to the greater message from our Savior who sees their need and can do so much more for them.

O Lord, it is so easy to be overwhelmed, or to judge and therefore to refrain from helping others. Lift our eyes above our own thoughts and circumstances, and let us care as You care.

Others will know what the words “God is love” mean when they see it in our lives.

 BE STRONG IN THE LORD

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10, NIV

Everyone has times when they feel weak or discouraged, but you weren’t meant to live that way day in and day out. You don’t have to walk around feeling defeated or depressed. You can have joy and peace no matter what is going on. God has a good plan for you and strength for the journey!

God wants to give you his supernatural joy because His joy is strength! His joy isn’t based on circumstances. It isn’t based on the news, the stock market or the housing economy. God’s joy is based on Him and who He is.

Take a moment and think about all God has done for you—He’s given you life; He’s cast your sins as far as the east is from the west; He has a good plan for you—those are reasons to get happy! Ask Him to fill you with His joy today as you meditate on His goodness. Put a smile on your face and rejoice in the Lord no matter what is going on around you. The joy of the Lord will give you strength so you can embrace the victory He has prepared for you

THE POWER OF VISION (1)

…men shall dream dreams [and]…see visions. – Joel 2:28NKJV

A boy supposedly once asked Michelangelo why he was working so hard chipping away on the block of marble that would become his greatest masterpiece: David. The artist replied, ‘There’s an angel inside this rock and I’m setting him free.’ The power of vision enables you to see a potential masterpiece in what others overlook or consider worthless. It also helps you discover things within yourself you never knew were there. It brings out the best in you. Many of the people God used in Scripture looked like losers before they looked like winners. After the disciples fished all night and caught nothing, Jesus told them, ‘…Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.’ (Luke 5:10 NKJV) They did, and they ended up: (1) building a church that’s still thriving two thousand years later; (2) writing history’s greatest books; (3) having our sons named after them. Does that mean you can just dream a dream and God will fulfil it? No. Paul says, ‘…You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God…’ (1 Corinthians 6:19–20 NIV) Belonging to Christ means you lost the right to take your talents, opportunities and experiences and run off in any direction you please. But why would you even want to? What could possibly be more fulfilling than God’s purpose for your life? And what could be more tragic than missing it? You can’t wring enough meaning out of secular accomplishments to satisfy your soul. The hole you’re trying to fill has an eternal dimension only Christ can fill. That’s why you must pray, ‘Lord, show me Your vision for my life

THE POWER OF VISION (2)

…acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:6 NKJV

Having God’s vision for your life gives you four things:

(1) Passion. It makes you wake up in the morning and bound out of bed because there’s something out there you love to do; something you believe in and are good at; something bigger than you; something you can hardly wait to get at.

(2) Motivation. Author Richard B. Edler said: ‘Safe living generally makes for regrets later on. We are all given talents and dreams. Sometimes the two don’t match. But more often than not we compromise both before ever finding out. Later on, we find ourselves looking back longingly to that time when we should’ve chased our true dreams and talents for all they’re worth. Don’t be pressured into thinking your dreams or talents aren’t prudent. They were never meant to be… They were meant to bring joy and fulfilment to your life.’

(3) Direction. Vision simplifies decision–making. Anything that moves you closer to your vision gets a green light; everything else should be approached with caution. Vision brings what’s important to the surface, and weeds out anything that stands in your way. Without vision, good things will keep you from achieving great things. People without a clear vision are easily distracted. They’ve a tendency to drift aimlessly from one thing to another. They’ve no spiritual, relational, financial or moral compass. Consequently, they make decisions that rob them of their dreams.

(4) Purpose. Having vision is like getting a sneak preview of things to come. It says, ‘If you don’t show up, something important won’t happen. Your life matters. Without you, what could be—won’t be.’

FRESH GRACE EVERY DAY

Matthew 6:34 – Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

“I am concerned about the big business deal that I have to close tomorrow.” “I am worried about tomorrow’s job interview.” “My medical test results will be out tomorrow. I am afraid it won’t be good.”

God does not want you to worry about tomorrow. He wants you to know that He gives you all the help you need for today, and when tomorrow comes, so will fresh help from Him.

This is God’s principle even in the Old Testament. When the children of Israel were in the desert, God gave them fresh manna from heaven every morning. (Exodus 16:13–16, 31) They did not have to worry about tomorrow because when tomorrow came, there was fresh manna again. He was their provision every day.

Today, God’s manna is the grace He gives you every day. If you are worried about a situation tomorrow, know that there will be sufficient grace for that situation when it comes. God wants you to simply rest in His ability to heal, deliver, protect and provide for you every day.

In the Old Testament, when the armies of Moab and Ammon came against King Jehoshaphat, God told the anxious king, “Do not be afraid nor dismayed…for the battle is not yours, but God’s…You will not need to fight in this battle…stand still and see the salvation of the Lord…” (2 Chronicles 20:15–17)

When the next morning came, King Jehoshaphat saw how God caused such confusion to come upon his enemies’ camp that it brought about their own slaughter. Amid all that fighting in the enemy camp, God’s people merely stood still and saw Him fight the battle for them just as He had promised.

My friend, when you see a problem looming in your tomorrow, don’t be afraid or dismayed. Look to the Lord, and see His grace and salvation deliver you.

God wants you to live a stress-free life, not one filled with worries about tomorrow’s problems. When tomorrow comes, His grace will be there for you as your help, protection, favor and enabling!

OUR RESURRECTED BODIES

Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. – John 11:11-14

There are many scriptures where death is spoken of as sleep, however, the disciples thought Jesus was speaking of Lazarus simply resting. Jesus eventually clarifies their misunderstanding by using the word “death,” but that was not His first choice. This is because God’s perspective is different than ours. Death is final to natural man but not to God. There will be a resurrection.

In his second letter to the Corinthians Paul uses natural illustrations to explain the resurrection. He speaks of seeds that are buried in the ground and “die.” Then they are resurrected as a plant. The plant and the seed bear no resemblance but they are actually the same. The plant is just in a resurrected state. Likewise, our physical bodies will die but they will be resurrected just as surely as seeds produce plants.

In the same way that a seed is different than the plant that it produces, likewise our resurrected bodies will be different. Our glorified bodies will be very similar to our physical bodies in appearance. This can be said because of what the scriptures reveal about Jesus’ glorified body. He still looked human, He ate food, had the print of the nails in His hands and feet, and He said He had flesh and bones. Yet he could appear and disappear. Our resurrected bodies will be immortal (i.e. not subject to death). Our resurrected bodies will be like Jesus’ resurrected body.

In the same way that our present physical bodies are a miraculous creation, so our glorified resurrected bodies will have their own glory. We can rest assured that God never serves dessert first. If this physical body is wonderful, our resurrected body will be even better.

BATTER IN THE BOWL

Please let me glean . . . after the reapers among the sheaves. —Ruth 2:7

My daughter and I consider brownies to be one of the seven wonders of the culinary world. One day, as we were mixing the ingredients of our favorite chocolate treat, my daughter asked if I would leave some batter in the bowl after pouring most of it into the baking pan. She wanted to enjoy what was left over. I smiled and agreed. Then, I told her, “That’s called gleaning, you know, and it didn’t start with brownies.”

As we enjoyed the remnants of our baking project, I explained that Ruth had gathered leftover grain in order to feed herself and her mother-in-law Naomi (Ruth 2:2-3). Because both of their husbands had died, the women had returned to Naomi’s homeland. There Ruth met a wealthy landowner named Boaz. She asked him, “Please let me glean . . . after the reapers among the sheaves” (v. 7). He willingly consented and instructed his workers to purposely let grain fall for her (v. 16).

Like Boaz, who provided for Ruth from the bounty of his fields, God provides for us out of His abundance. His resources are infinite, and He lets blessings fall for our benefit. He willingly provides us with physical and spiritual nourishment. Every good gift we receive comes from Him. —Jennifer Benson Schuldt

Dear God, thank You for the blessings I enjoy! You minister to Your children out of Your limitless abundance. I worship You as my provider.

Our greatest needs cannot exceed God’s great resources.

FIND REST …

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. – Matthew 11:29

Sometimes, the day-to-day pressures of life can cause unnecessary stress. In fact, many people lose sleep worrying about things or people in their lives. But God doesn’t want us to live stressed out and overwhelmed. He wants us to live a life of rest and peace.

When Jesus walked on this earth, He took time for Himself. He got away from the crowds. He spent time with the Father. That’s how He found rest. He was gentle and humble in heart. Do you ever notice that when you are stressed out or worrying about something, you’re less tolerant of others? You’re more likely to say something you don’t really mean. Today, God wants you to cast your cares on Him and live with a gentle and humble attitude. Release your burdens to Him. Follow the example of Jesus, and you will find rest for your soul.

AA SEPARATING THE TARES FROM THE WHEAT :

John 6:61, “When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?”

This scripture, as well as Matthew 15:12, reveals that people will be offended by the Gospel. As much as possible, however, we should make sure that it is not ourselves that are offensive. But we cannot labor under the deception that everyone will receive the Gospel, even if the truth was presented properly. We know that Jesus represented His Father perfectly and yet most people rejected His message.

In these two instances, when Jesus realized He had offended the listeners, He didn’t apologize and try to make concessions to gain their acceptance. Instead, He got harder. This hard message of commitment is not only beneficial to those who receive it, but it serves a dual purpose in that it exposes the “tares among the wheat.”

It is important to be aware that the children of the wicked one are placed among the true believers. We should be very careful about putting just anyone who professes Christianity into any position of authority (1 Tim. 3:10). Our best defense is to preach the Word of God without watering it down. False brethren will not endure sound doctrine (2 Tim. 4:3). They leave when the Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, begins to expose the thoughts and intents of the heart. There will still, however, be those who are deceived and unaware that they are not born again, remaining among the Church until the end of this world.

As long as Jesus was in the world in His physical body, He was lighting the way to the Father. He now shines through our lives. It is our responsibility to be a witness. The purpose of a light is to dispel the darkness. So “let your light shine before men….” (Matt. 5:16).

SURFACING

By Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. —Colossians 1:16

Human beings straddle visible and invisible realities—the natural and the supernatural. I thought about these two worlds when I went out in a boat to watch whales off the coast of New Zealand. A whale would rest on the surface for a while, then breathe deeply a few times, his exhalations creating a spectacular spout, before plunging a mile deep to feed on squid.

Despite having its own lively habitat of marine plants and sea creatures, the whale must surface for oxygen from time to time or it dies. Though it knows little about the world above, it needs vital contact with it to survive.

I sometimes feel like that whale, coming up for spiritual air at regular intervals to stay alive. But there is no neat division between the natural and the supernatural. The world we live in is not an either/or world. What I do as a Christian—praying, worshiping, demonstrating God’s love to the sick, needy, and imprisoned—is both supernatural and natural.

The same God who created the world that’s visible to us actively sustains it and has made a way for us to approach Him, the invisible. Paul wrote, “You, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death” (Col. 1:21-22).

All our actions take place in the visible world, which we can touch, smell, and see. Yet the Creator and Sustainer of all things has provided a way for us to breathe the spiritual air we need and crave.

God’s throne is always accessible to His children.

WALK IN THE LIGHT YOU HAVE :

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. – 2 Timothy 3:14

If you’re born again and have the Word of God in your heart, you can live in victory. You may not have all the answers. There may be a great many spiritual things you don’t understand. But it’s not those things that are most likely to destroy you. It’s the things you know to do–but don’t–that usually make you fall.

Just think about walking at night down a dark, unfamiliar path in the middle of a jungle. The guide up ahead has a flashlight to keep you on the right path. But then, you just decide to wander off into the darkness by yourself. What do you think will happen to you? You’ll probably stumble and fall. Very likely, you’ll get hurt.

That’s exactly the same thing that can happen in your walk with the Lord. He knows what’s ahead and He shines just enough light for you to take one step at a time. You have to continue walking in that light in order to get where you’re going.

You may not know why He’s leading you a certain way. You may not understand all the things involved. But God will make up for your ignorance by the Holy Spirit. He’ll see to it that you have victory if you continue in what you know.

It’s good to keep studying. It’s good to keep learning. But, remember, it’s not the great revelation you haven’t yet had that will cause you the most trouble. It’s failing to walk in the ones God has already given you. So be faithful in those things. Continue in them day after day after day. You’ll make it through just fine!

THERE MUST BE INTERPRETATIONS OF TONGUES

Many Pentecostal churches turn away from the practice of “speaking in tongues”  because there was no interpretation of tongues which Paul says is necessary (1 Cor. 14: 9 – 27).  Without interpretation of tongues 1 Cor. 14: 23 the unbelievers and outsiders and believers will think you are crazy, mad.  This is what has discredited the use of the amazing “Gift of Other National Languages” (tongues).  Many pastors are  guilty of this very infringement of an important rule of using the Gift of Speaking in Tongues.  Such pastors are driving people away from Pentecostal Churches.  When translated with the Gift of Interpretation people are encouraged to trust Jesus Christ because the interpretations will be messages for either individuals or the whole church as God uses these Gifts to draw unbelievers to Jesus.

No interpretation means nobody is encouraged except a few  pride filled believers because people will think or believe that you are crazy. And, since Paul’s advice is ignored, I believe that they are spiritually crazy, mad, and not concerned with the conversions to Jesus Christ that are lost.   That is the reason in all   meetings, we must wait for the interpretation of all tongues messages or else we  have to declare them to be both unscriptural and unedifying because God’s “Communication System” which consists of a combination of “tongues with interpretation”.  No interpretation of tongues means No messages from our Heavenly Father, Jesus or the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, no matter what kind of situation you are in today, I encourage you to see yourself in Christ. All that He is and has applies to you, right now in this world (1Jn 4:17)! And where is Jesus today? Eph 1:20–23 tells us that He is seated at the Father’s right hand, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named. As Jesus is far above every principality and power, so are you! As He is far above every disease and physical condition, so are you! As He is far above every kind of fear, depression and addiction, so are you!

SAME SPIRIT, SAME POWER :

“And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11, AMP)

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit makes His home inside of you. That’s God Himself, the same Spirit with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead! His resurrection power can bring back health, strength and life to your physical body. He can restore hope and breathe life into your dreams. In fact, He can resurrect any area that may seem dormant on the inside of you!

The next time you feel overwhelmed by sickness, challenges or despair, remember, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you through Christ Jesus. You may have been burdened by an addiction, fear or worry, but there’s nothing that can stand against the power of God. Rise up and declare by faith, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. I am restored and healed in the name of Jesus! No weapon formed against me can prosper!” Receive His truth, declare the Word, and activate His power within you!

The Parallel Flow of the Spirit

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant…. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills” (1 Cor. 12:1,7-11).

This passage talks about the nine spiritual gifts of the Spirit, but there is a lot of confusion about “praying in the spirit” and the gift of “different kinds of tongues.” Much of the reason is because of avoidance, fear, and ignorance on the subject. Paul said here that he did not want us to be ignorant concerning spiritual gifts.

The word ignore is the root word for ignorance and ignorant. When you ignore something, you become ignorant and walk in ignorance. Because of past abuses and because of incorrect teaching, many ministries, pastors, and teachers have chosen to ignore anything in the Word concerning speaking in tongues.

This avoidance has left the church void of one of the greatest spiritual tools provided to the Church today. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 11:3 that the gospel was not complicated, but was actually quite simple. Anything avoided or feared will seem complicated, but understanding and truth bring clarity. For this reason, we must search the Word, study, and understand what the Holy Spirit teaches us about tongues.

Generally speaking, there is a parallel flow of the nine spiritual gifts. One flow operates through the will of the Spirit-filled believer and the other is manifested by the will, desire, and timing of the Holy Spirit. For example, wisdom is obtained by asking God. (James 1:5.) The word of wisdom is a gift of the Spirit. Knowledge is obtained by study of the Word. The word of knowledge is a gift of the Spirit. (1 Cor. 12:8.) Faith is obtained by hearing the Word. (Rom. 10:17.) The gift of faith is a gift of the Spirit. Praying in the spirit is a result of your desire to pray God’s will in tongues. The gift of different kinds of tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit that is distributed as He wills.

For this lesson we will only focus on the parallel flow of tongues, but before we do, we need to understand something about praying in tongues. Praying in tongues is available to all Spirit-filled believers. This can be done anytime. Praying in tongues is subject to the timing of the one praying in tongues. The Bible calls this praying with the spirit. (1 Cor. 14:15.) You can do this whenever you want to.

We are also told in the Bible that when we do not know how to pray, that the Spirit enables us to pray in such a way that He is actually interceding for us. In fact, when we pray in the spirit, we are praying the will of God.

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26,27).

The great thing about praying the will of God is, when we pray His will, we are assured that He hears us and also that when He hears us, that we receive our request.

So when you pray in the spirit, you can be assured that you are praying God’s will and that He is committed to fulfilling that prayer.

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him” (1 John 5:14,15).

Although operating in the gift of different kinds of tongues may sound or even seem the same as praying in tongues, it is actually quite different. While you can pray in the spirit (in tongues) anytime you want and there does not need to be an interpretation, the gift of different kinds of tongues is given by the Holy Spirit as He desires. The gift of tongues requires interpretation of tongues (another gift) in order to benefit all. (1 Cor. 12:10,11.)

Some denominations and ministries teach against the gifts of the Spirit and seem to focus on what they call the error of tongues. Sadly, because they don’t understand the parallel flow of the Spirit they lump praying in the spirit and speaking in different kinds of tongues together as the same thing. Until this basic difference is understood, the scriptures on the gifts will seem confusing.

Remember, praying in the spirit is something you decide to do. Operating in the gift of tongues is something the Holy Spirit decides you are going to do and you yield to His will and His gift.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY :

“I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of His righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” (Isaiah 61:10)

Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. You woke me up with Your tenderly kisses early this morning. The voice of love from the Cross came to my ears; telling me now is the time to praise God for another beautiful day. I rejoice in the Lord for I am now free from all bondage’s, I simply soak in the riches of the glory of God. May the unfailing love of God come upon me and surround me with the song of deliverance’s in all of my days!

Gratefully, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen !!!

JESUS CHRIST THE SAME

AB
Jesus Christ has never changed. Ever constant, ever compassionate, He still heals and delivers you today and He loves to use Christians to do it

FOR JESUS AND THE APOSTLES IT DOESN’T MATTER WHETHER IT’S HEALING OF THE BODY OR DELIVERANCE FROM DEMONS THAT A PERSON NEEDS, JESUS CHRIST DOES BOTH

Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

Mark 1:34 Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him.

Mark 6:13 And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them.

Luke 8:2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities — Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons,

Acts 5:16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Acts 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.

AND THE SAME IS TRUE WITH THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT. ALL THE NINE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT RESIDES IN JESUS WHO RESIDES IN US, AND AS WE ARE OPEN AND AS THEY ARE NEEDED THEY CAN OPERATE IN AND THROUGH US!

THE KEY IS FOR US TO OPEN OUR HEARS, SPIRITS AND LIVES FOR JESUS TO RESIDE AND TAKE OVER IN EVERY WAY FOR US. WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. WE ARE HIS VESSELS. ALL OF HIM AND NONE OF US. AS WE ABIDE IN HIM, HE ABIDES IN US. BUT, WE MUST ABIDE… FULLY AND COMPLETELY. BEING FILLED AND LEAD BY THE HOLY SPIRIT ALONE!!

THE HARVEST IN PLENTY BUT THE WORKERS ARE FEW!

THE HARVEST IS NOT JUST SALVATION…. THERE ARE MANY IN NEED OF ALL OF GOD’S MIRACLES AND BLESSINGS FOR THEIR LIVES. JESUS CAME TO GIVE US “LIFE” AND “LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY”. JESUS KNOWS THAT WE ALL LACK IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER!

WE IN OUR HUMAN DEFICIENCY LIMIT GOD! WE GET IN THE WAY. UNBELIEF. LACK OF FAITH. NOT KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING GOD’S WILL AND WORD ARE CURSES NOT BLESSINGS?

GOD’S AMAZING PROMISES TO HIS CHILDREN. KNOWING. YES KNOWING THAT GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO PERFORM. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO HIS WORD. OUR FAITH AND BELIEF IN HIM ALONE MANIFESTS ALL HIS PROMISES IN OUR LIVES. IT IS LIKE A HIGH FIVE IN HEAVEN BRINGS DOWN HIS SHOWERS AND SHOWERS OF BLESSING INTO OUR LIVES.

OUR PRAYERS BELIEVING GO UP TO HEAVEN AND HIS BLESSINGS COME DOWN.

REMINDS ME OF JACOBS LADDER. GOD’S OPEN HEAVEN OVER JACOB. THAT IS WHAT GOD WANTS FOR US ALL.

JACOB CAME TO END OF HIMSELF BEFORE HE WAS IN THE PLACE TO ALLOW GOD TO DO THAT FOR HIM.

THE ANGELS WENT UP AND DOWN FROM HEAVEN TO BRING GOD’S BLESSINGS AND MINISTER TO JACOB. MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT. JACOB WAS FOREVER CHANGED AFTER THAT MOMENT.

HE TOLD EVIL UNCLE LABEN WHERE TO GET OFF. GOD LET HIM KNOW THAT HE WAS NOT A SLAVE TO UNCLE LABEN. THAT IS WHEN HE HAD TO COURAGE AND VISION TO TELL UNCLE LABEN I AM OWE U NOTHING!! I AM LEAVING AND TAKING MY WIFE

SEE YA LATER.

GOD WANTS US ALL TO KNOW THAT IN CHRIST WE ARE NO LONGER SLAVES TO ANYONE OR ANYTHING IN THIS EARTH. HE WHO THE SON SETS FREE SHALL BE FREE INDEED.

AMEN

LET MY PEOPLE GO!! WE A FREE FROM SICKNESS, DISEASE, POVERTY AND LACK, OUR PAST, TORMENT FROM THE DEVIL. ALL GENERATIONAL CURSES THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. YES, OUR REDEEMER LIVES.

YES GOD WANTS HIS PEOPLE TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE HIS “TOTAL PACKAGE”.
