GOD’S WORD

BE
Take Your Place

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ…And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. – Ephesians 2:4-6

God has raised us up to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus! That’s what the Word of God says. Very few of us have actually dared to believe this. We’ve uplifted Jesus. We’ve exalted Him–and rightly so! But at the same time, we’ve unwittingly belittled what He did by not allowing Him to bring us alongside Him.

That was God’s purpose at Calvary: to bring us alongside Jesus. To make us what He already was.

You see, Jesus didn’t need exalting. He was exalted before He ever came to this earth. He was already one with the Father. He didn’t need to get authority over the devil–He’d never lost it!

He put on a physical body so that He could come to earth as a man and gain authority over sin and sickness, demons, fear, poverty and all the other curses that came when the law of death moved into the earth–and He did it. He succeeded. He mastered everything in the world of the intellect, everything in the physical world.

Before He ascended, He said, “All authority is given unto Me both in heaven and in the earth.” Then He turned around and gave that authority to us by giving us His Name.

You and I are the reason Jesus came to earth and died and lived again. He didn’t do it for Himself. He did it so He could bring us alongside. So we could wear His Name and wield His authority on the earth. He did it so that we could stand before God and be everything to Him that Jesus is.

When you were born again, you were made the righteousness of God in Christ! So as a born-again believer, dare to receive this message, to meditate on it and to act on it. Go ahead–dare to take your place!

GOD’S WORD WILL DO THE JOB

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11

Did you know that the battleground for the problem you’re facing right now is in your mind and on your lips? If you’ll hit the devil with the Word and cast the care of the situation over on God, you’ll win.

Let me warn you though, hanging onto the Word isn’t always easy. The devil knows that if he doesn’t steal it from you, you’ll use it to enforce his defeat.

So don’t be surprised if he sends an evil spirit to exalt itself against the Word of God. If you’re sick, he may begin to tell you, “You’re not healed. You know that healing’s not for today. Even if it were, it wouldn’t work for you. It might work for somebody else but not you.”

If he starts to tell you that kind of thing, don’t buy it! Don’t start worrying around about it and thinking, “Oh my, I’m afraid I’m not going to get healed. I sure don’t feel healed. Why, I’m probably going to just get worse and worse….”

Remember this: It’s the Word that does the work, not the one holding onto it. It’ll work for anybody who’ll put it to work. It’ll work for you just like it worked for Jesus when He walked the earth.

He told Satan, “It is written!” No matter what the devil tries to tell you, refuse to let go of the Word. Tell him what is written concerning your situation. Let the Word fight its own fight. It’ll whip the devil every time.

Miracles Happens As You Use God’s Mode Of Operation

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)

God uses words to create. He used His Word to “frame” the worlds. Just look in the first chapter of Genesis and count how many times you see the phrase, “God said.” “God said, Let there be light: and there was light…. God said, Let there be a firmament…. God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together…. God said, Let the earth bring forth….”

God doesn’t do anything without saying it first. That’s His mode of operation. And, if you’re smart, you’ll use that mode of operation too. You’ll take His words and speak them out until they take on form and substance and become a reality in your life.

Learn about the integrity of God’s Word:-
Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it ? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Isaiah 55:11 – So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Jeremiah 1:12 – Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Hebrews 6:17-18 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: [18] That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Psalm 107:20 – He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

GOD AND HIS WORD ARE ONE:- John 1:1-3 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Ephesians 6:17 – … and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

“Well, I tried that and it didn’t work. I said, ‘By His stripes I am healed’ four times and nothing happened.”

God started saying that Jesus was coming in the Garden of Eden. He said it again in Exodus. He said it again in Numbers and Deuteronomy. He said it in Isaiah and the other prophets. He said it all through the Old Testament, over and over again.

Then after about 4,000 years, the book of John tells us, “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.”

So if you’ve said you’re healed four times and nothing’s happened, don’t worry about it. Just keep saying it! You might think it’s taking a long time to manifest, but I’ll guarantee you, it won’t take 4,000 years.

Keep talking the Word like God:-

Joshua 1:8 – This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Do you want to operate in God’s power? Then use His Mode of Operation. Speak out His words and let them frame a life full of blessing for you!
Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:1-31; Joshua 1:8; Colossians 3:16.

It’s Beginning to Rain

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain the first month. – Joel 2:23

There’s a spiritual flood coming. God has promised it. He’s promised us an outpouring of Holy Spirit power that will bring in the greatest harvest of souls any of us have ever seen.

As believers, we’ve been reading about it in the Word and hearing about it from the pulpit for years. We’ve been staring toward heaven so long, waiting for it to come, that we’ve gotten cricks in our spiritual necks. We’ve had this mental image of God pouring down His Spirit from some sort of big heavenly pitcher above us.

But you know what? We’ve been looking in the wrong direction!

The pitchers God is going to use to pour out His power are right here on earth. Jesus explained it this way. “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” John 7:38.

The end-time flood we’ve all been expecting is going to be composed of living waters that will pour forth from believers. The Holy Spirit within us will be the source of all the signs and wonders and miracles the prophets foretold. And when we begin to fervently pray the prayer of intercession, the flood of that power will begin to flow.

Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers for rain, to every one grass in the field.”

Our prayers, our intercession, is what will release the great outpouring of God’s Spirit. As we begin to join together and become a flood of Spiritual power in the earth.

So, ask, pray for a Holy Ghost gullywasher. Intercede for the outpouring. Make this mighty flood of spiritual power a priority in your prayer life.

Glory to God, it’s already beginning to rain

GOD’S WORD HAS NO LIMITS :

John 4:50, “Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.”

Jesus didn’t have to touch the child. He didn’t have to send anything home with the father to affect the cure. All He did was speak and the son was instantly healed (v. 53).

This man had traveled over fifteen miles from Capernaum to Cana to find Jesus. Therefore, the son was not within ‘earshot” so that Jesus’ words sparked some cord of hope in his heart, thereby releasing God’s power. No, Jesus’ spoken word had so much power that no barriers (such as time or space) had any affect on it whatsoever.

This is hard for us to comprehend. We spend an entire lifetime learning physical limitations and adapting to them. But there are no limits to the power of God’s word. Jesus created everything in this physical universe by His words, and that creation will respond to anything He says.

The Lord gave His Word to the Jews but they didn’t believe it. Hebrews 4:2 says, “…the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].” We have been given God’s words too, in the Bible. If we will speak God’s Word in faith, we will get the same results that Jesus did here.

FROGS

20101029
Get Rid of the Frogs

When shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses? – Exodus 8:9

Have you ever wrestled with one of those problems that stubbornly refuses to go away? It seems to be immune to all solutions. You swat at the thing in every conceivable way, but instead of being eliminated, it expands and multiplies until it’s wildly out of control.

An Egyptian pharaoh faced just that kind of problem, the Bible tells us, thousands of years ago. He was in a hot dispute with God over the future of the Israelites, and as a result of that dispute, he woke up one morning to find his country swarming with frogs. Slimy, smelly, hopping-all-over-the-place frogs.

It was a serious problem. I’m not talking about a frog or two in the front yard. I mean frogs were everywhere–in their beds, on their tables. Big old frogs in the ovens. Little bitty frogs in the bread dough and the drinking water. Frogs. Frogs in your hair. Frogs in places you wouldn’t even want to think about!

Then God made a move. He sent His man Moses in to Pharaoh to ask, “When shall I entreat the Lord to get these frogs out of here?”

Do you know what Pharaoh said?

“Tomorrow.” Can you imagine that? He could have said, “Right now! Today!” But instead he decided he’d spend one more night among the frogs.

You say, “That’s the stupidest thing I ever heard. Why in the world would he do it tomorrow?” I don’t know. Probably for the same reason you want to wait until tomorrow to get saved or healed or prosperous.

Here’s what I want you to notice. When Moses asked Pharaoh that question and he answered, “Tomorrow,” Moses said, “All right. So that you know there’s a God in heaven, BE IT DONE UNTO YOU ACCORDING TO YOUR WORDS.”

Let me ask you this: How long are you willing to let that persisting problem harass you? When are you going to get rid of the frogs in your life? Do you realize they’ll stay around as long as you’ll let them? They’ll be there until you finally make a quality decision to go with the Word of God and get them out.

Why don’t you do it today?

WE CAN ALWAYS TOUCH JESUS ANY TIME WE NEED TO GET A MIRACLE!

MARK 5:25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
27 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28 For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29 Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31 But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
32 And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
33 But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

DON’T UNDERESTIMATE WHAT YOU HAVE :

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin… – Zechariah 4:10, NLT

When David faced Goliath, in the natural, all he had was a slingshot and five smooth stones. It looked insignificant and ordinary, nothing special. But God breathed on it, and he defeated Goliath and became the king of Israel. Sampson was surrounded by a huge army. Everywhere he looked there were horses, chariots and weapons. All he had was the jawbone of a donkey. No weapon. No armor. Nobody backing him up. But he picked up that jawbone, God breathed on it, and he defeated 1,000 men; the whole army. All Moses had was on ordinary stick, something he found on the ground. Yet, when he picked it up and held that rod in the air, the Red Sea supernaturally parted. All John and Dodie Osteen had were 90 people and an abandoned, rundown feed store, yet God breathed on them and did something extraordinary.

Today, don’t underestimate what you have. It may look small and insignificant. Compared to what you’re facing, it seems impossible; but when God breathes on your life, the odds dramatically change! Stay open, keep expecting, stay close to Him and watch Him do something extraordinary in your life!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, today I bless You and glorify You. Thank You for taking what I have in my hand and breathing Your life into it. Today, I expect the extraordinary. I expect to see You move on my behalf as I give You the praise and glory in all things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

GOD HIMSELF IS OUR SHIELD AND EXCEEDINGLY GREAT REWARD

Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Psalms 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Divine Exchange

“But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and Righteousness, and Sanctification, and Redemption.” I Corinthians 1:30

The Church is not an organization with Jesus Christ as its president. The Church is an organism with Jesus Christ as its head. We are in Him and He is in us. The victory He won on the Cross was for us. When Jesus went to the Cross, He wasn’t fighting the battle for Himself. He didn’t need to overcome Satan. He fought it on your behalf. He made the transaction, the divine exchange: Jesus became the Son of man that you might become a son of God. He took your sins that you might take His innocence. He became guilty that you might become acquitted. He was filled with despair that you might be filled with joy. He took your shame that you might take His Glory. He suffered the pains of hell, that you might know the joys of Heaven.

“What language shall I borrow to thank Thee, dearest Friend, For this Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end? O make me Thine forever, and should I fainting be, Lord, let me never, never outlive my love to Thee.

POWERFUL

BE
He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:4

Sincerity and presumption are not a guarantee of anything including salvation and healing. What is born of flesh is flesh and what is born of Spirit is spirit. Jesus told us, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63). So if we are going to receive life, salvation, healing and good things from God it must first come by the Spirit as God’s word. Yes, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ God by His Spirit sends His word and heal us and deliver us from our destructions. And then we have to act on the word that God give us including beleiving and confessing the word. God’s word is true:

And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.’ Acts 2:21

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

With our faith we can make a demand on God for the anointing to bring down healing and deliverance into our lives. In the bible in Jesus day all who were sick did just that. They touched the hem of Jesus garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. God’s word is true:

When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding region, brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well. Matthew 14:34-36

When they had crossed over, they came to the land of Gennesaret and anchored there. And when they came out of the boat, immediately the people recognized Him, ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. Wherever He entered into villages, cities, or in the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well. Mark 6:53-56

The Word of God is very clear that God wants to heal His people be it by faith, by the word of knowledge, by the anointing, or by any method He chooses.

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 7:14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:14-18

Yes, the prayer of faith is the prayer of Elijah that produces results through persistence in prayer. The bible records for our profit and instruciton:

Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’ ” Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. 1 Kings 18:41-46

It’s to be noted that according to the word of Elijah that God gave to Elijah the drought and famine came and was removed. God’s word is true:

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”1 King 18:1

Jesus taught us on the value and importance of persistent prayer of always praying and not giving up until God avenges us and give us our desired result of justice from the injustices of the enemy, Satan, the author of sickness, diseases, trouble, afflictions, poverty and loss on the earth. God’s word is true:

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. “Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ “And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, ‘yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. “And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? “I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 1:1-8

Prayer of the faith will heal the sick because healing is in the word. He sent His word and healed them. Because Jesus is the Word , healing is also in the anointing and a gift of the Spirit. That is why Jesus said:

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:1-3

And Apostle Paul said:
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11

But sometimes because we wrestle not against flesh and blood we must contend for miracles includng healing for God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. Because we have faith, hope and love we can contend with any negative circumstance until we get our miracle. Jesus was manifested to destroy all the works of the devil. Sickness and disease are an oppression of the devil and they don’t exist in God’s kingdom. Sickness diseases and death all come from the devil’s kingdom and every infirmity should be treated as the work of the devil including infirmity, blindness, sickness, pain, etc which robs us from the fulness of life. But Jesus Christ healed and heals all oppression of the devil. He who is the same yesterday today and forever still heals all our diseases, forgives all our inquities, and redeems our life from destruction and executes righteousness and justice for the oppressed. Yes, came to set at liberty those who are oppressed. God’s word is true:

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. Psalm 103:1-6

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; Luke 4:18

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38

SERIOUSLY!

BF
A NEW CREATION

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.

IN THEORY EVERY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN IS A NEW CREATION BUT MOST BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS ARE NOT SPIRIT FILLED OR SPIRIT LED SO SOMETHING IS DRASTICALLY WRONG BEFORE WE EVEN START

AND ALL PEOPLE ARE BORN WITH A SINFUL NATURE, AND EVEN EVIL AND WICKED GENES, AS WELL AS FAMILIAR SPIRITS, THAT MAKE THEM HAVE BAD QUIRKS LIKE BEING SELFISH, STUBBORN, GREEDY, EGOTISTIC, HATEFUL AND SELF CENTERED, AND MANY PEOPLE CONTINUE TO HAVE THESE THINGS EVEN WHEN THEY BECOME CHRISTIANS

SOMEHOW CHRISTIANS DO NOT MAKE THE TRANSITION BETWEEN BEING CARNAL TO BEING LED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WANDER IN A SPIRITUAL WILDERNESS OF THEIR OWN CHOOSING JUST LIKE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL DID FOR 40 YEARS CAUSING APOSTLE PAUL TO WRITE

Galatians 4:19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you, 20 I would like to be present with you now and to change my tone; for I have doubts about you.

DENYING A PROBLEM DOESN’T MAKE IT GO AWAY? SOME THING IS DRASTICALLY WRONG WITH CHRISTENDOM IN NORTH AMERICA?

Being positive does not mean we deny the existence of difficulty; it means we believe God is greater than our difficulties.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets:
33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

CREATIVE MIRACLES AND AMAZING BREAKTHROUGHS

With our God nothing is impossible. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all things we can ask or imagine. Yes I know some of you are expecting a healing and breakthrough in your life. Dear friend today I want to encourage you that Jesus is bigger than your problems. Isaiah 53: 4-5: Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Yes beloved no matter what pain or sickness you have by his wounds you are healed. Just receive it by faith in Jesus name. No sickness is greater than the name of Jesus. Whether cancer, AIDS, tuberculosis, Kidney failure or lungs problem, heart attack. Hmm whatever you are going through God is giving you a new heart, new lungs, new bones and new teeth, new kidneys in Jesus name. I speak it by faith in Jesus name. Some of you want to see a breakthrough in relationships, finances, profession or studies. As Jesus said on the cross “It is Finished!” I am saying in Jesus name “Your struggle and pain is finished in Jesus name. Rejoice and be glad for God has given you the victory. Satan has been defeated in Jesus name. There is power in the blood and name of Jesus. I speak Breakthrough in every area of your life in Jesus name. Claim it by faith beloved. Yes Jesus I speak the release of your fire and grace anointing now in Jesus name. Thank you Lord for delivering and blessing all my friends. In Jesus name Amen. YOU ARE DESTINED TO REIGN IN LIFE

Choose Life

AK
JESUS IN THE FLESH :

John 14:28 “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”

Jesus stated His union with the Father so clearly that He was accused of blasphemy more than once. This statement about the Father being greater than Jesus must harmonize, not contradict other claims.

A key to understanding this is given in Philippians 2:6-8, where Paul states that Jesus didn’t think it was robbery to be equal with God, but humbled Himself, taking on the form of a servant (speaking of His humanity). Jesus was equal to God in His divine nature but He made Himself inferior to the Father in regard to His humanity. Jesus didn’t lose any of His deity when He became a man, but He did clothe it in flesh and submit it to the consequent limitations. In this sense, the Father was greater than Jesus.

Jesus is the pre-existent God who chose to become a man so he could redeem us by His own blood sacrifice. When He became a man, He was still one hundred percent God in His spirit, but His physical body was one hundred percent human. His body was sinless, but it was still flesh and subject to the natural things we all experience. The physical Jesus had to grow in wisdom and in stature.

When Jesus was born, His physical mind did not know all things. He had to be taught how to talk, walk, eat, and so forth. He had to learn that He was God in the flesh and accept that by faith. His physical mind grew in awareness of who He was. He had the witness in His spirit, but His physical mind had to “take it by faith”-the same way that we do when we believe who we are in the spiritual realm. Jesus’ mental comprehension of His deity was something He learned and accepted by faith. Jesus had to become aware of His true identity through revelation and knowledge. We must do the same.

Let Jesus Wash Your Feet

Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” John 13:8

Can you imagine the Lord wanting to wash your feet? Peter could not. His shocked reaction — “Lord, how can you wash my feet!” — would probably be ours too.

I want you to notice what the Lord said to him: “Peter, if I don’t wash your feet, you have no part with Me.” What the Lord was actually saying to Peter was, “Peter, you cannot flow together with Me, you cannot walk together with Me in ministry, in service and in effectiveness, if you don’t let Me wash your feet.” So Peter said, “Lord, [wash] not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!” (John 13:9)

But Jesus answered him saying, “He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean…” (John 13:10)

Once we have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are bathed all over, and cleansed by His blood once and for all eternity! His blood has perfected us forever (Hebrews 10:14), and we only need to wash our feet because we walk in the world and our feet pick up dust and dirt, causing us to stumble.

So how is Jesus washing our feet today? Ephesians 5:25–26 tells us that “Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word”.

We, the church, are cleansed with the washing of water by the Word. The more we come under anointed teaching that unveils Christ through the Word, the more the cleansing goes on. And as our feet are washed, instead of stumbling, we will be walking and even running!

Today, though high and lifted up in heaven, Jesus is dressed in a robe with a golden girdle around his chest. (Revelation 1:13) Like a servant who uses his girdle as a towel to serve, Jesus wants us to sit down and let Him serve us — by washing our feet with a deeper revelation of Himself through His Word. Beloved, this is what gives us victory in our daily walk!

Thought For The Day
As we receive a deeper revelation of Christ through His Word, we will see victory in our daily walk!

Choose Life

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. – Romans 8:6

If you were given the choice between life and death, which would you choose? The answer seems obvious. But, in reality, it’s not.

You see, choosing death doesn’t necessarily mean jumping from the nearest cliff. It’s much more subtle than that.

The Bible says death is being carnally minded, being entangled in this present worldly realm. The Bible also tells us what life is. “My son, attend to my words,” says Proverbs 4:20-22, “…for they are life!”

To be worldly-minded is death. To be Word-minded is life.

In Luke 10, there’s a story that illustrates this principle extremely well. It’s the story of Mary and Martha. You probably remember it. Mary was sitting at Jesus’ feet listening to Him teach while Martha was bustling around in the kitchen cooking dinner for everyone.

Finally Martha couldn’t stand it anymore. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do all the work myself? Tell her to help me!” Jesus answered, “Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her” (Luke 10:41-42).

Mary had set everything else aside, so she could hear the Word. But Martha had let the seemingly important business of living take priority over the Word. She’d chosen death, not life.

You see how easy it is to slip into that?

But you say, “if I didn’t spend all my time taking care of the business of living, my life would fall apart!”

Oh, really? Martha probably thought that too. She probably thought if she didn’t cook dinner for all those folks, they’d go hungry. But they wouldn’t have. Jesus had miraculously fed multitudes before and He could have done it again in Martha’s home. She could have plopped herself down at Jesus’ feet, and they could have had a banquet at God’s expense!

Don’t make the mistake that Martha did. Don’t get so entangled in the business of living that you choose death by default. Decide to put the Word first place. Choose life!

HERETIC

AB
Charles Nelson Darby

That’s right, it’s time to talk about eschatology form a biblical standpoint instead of Darby’s view point which has sadly captivated 90% or more of evangelical Christianity. Eschatology is the study of end events and as such the gathering together of God’s elect. Many today teach a premillennial pre tribulational “secret gathering” of God’s elect before He returns in Christ to judge the world. No doubt a church you attend or know of teaches this heresy which we will see is anything but what the reformers taught and most of all what early church fathers taught who were instructed by the very ones who penned Holy Writ. Darby, an ordained Anglican priest in Dublin Ireland, came to his own view of premillennialism when, after an accident falling off a horse, he sought an occultist by the name of Margret MacDonald who spoke to the dead “church” and confessed that the gathering of God’s elect would be before the tribulation. This is clearly divination! Many scholars have tried to repudiate these facts but many of those scholars hold steadfast to the heretical doctrine of Darby’s. As a member of the Plymouth Brethren, Darby divided the sect into the Darbyites and the Open Brethren. Darby developed a new premillennialism, which he called “dispensationalism” after the division of history into eras or dispensations. Though later dispensationalists quibbled over the number and names of these periods, most agreed with Darby that there were seven, like the seven days of creation. Darby listed the ages as: Paradise, Noah, Abraham, Israel, Gentiles, the Spirit, and the Millennium.
Darby saw history as a “progressive revelation,” and his system sought to explain the stages in God’s redemptive plan for the universe. There was nothing especially radical about dividing history into periods although Scofield furthered this fantasy with his reference bible. What separated Darby’s dispensationalism was his novel method of biblical interpretation, which consisted of a strict literalism, the absolute separation of Israel and the church into two distinct peoples of God, and the separation of the rapture (the “catching away” of the church) from Christ’s Second Coming. At the rapture, he said, Christ will come for his saints; and at the Second Coming, he will come with his saints.

Now, Premillennialism was taught by the Apostles, Jesus and the early church fathers but waned after the Nicene Council in the middle of the 4th century. 1500 years later we have a man who, unsatisfied with biblical eschatology and perhaps no sound teaching from Dublin’s Trinity College, takes to the conjuring of spirits for his theology on eschatology. This should be a red flag for any bible believing Christian! The bible clearly is our litmus test for the events of the end. The bible is also not quiet in reference to these things. The bible shows God’s redemptive plan in different eras of time and the Apostle Paul even uses the word “dispensation of times” in his address to the church at Ephesus. Explaining how God, “before the foundation of the world” chose us and predestinated us and who, in the dispensation of the fullness times, might gather together all things in Christ. Eph 1:10. Which HAS BEEN DONE! The bible also correctly speaks of a physical return of Jesus to the earth to set up a millennial kingdom. However, the bible DOES NOT, speak of a secret gathering of God’s elect and DOES NOT draw a huge divide between Israel and the Church nor does it single handily hold God into being subject to His creation, mainly the flow of time or specific eras. Although Israel is being punished for her unbelief she will be grafted back into the olive tree, the only way of Salvation, which is in Christ. Most dispensationalist are staunch zionist as well. Seeing Israel as protected when in scripturally it is God’s wrath that brings them to the cross at the end. People like John Haggee preach Israel needs not a savior and stands right before the Lord. This is wrong and goes against Romans 11. Finally, the bible doesn’t speak of a secret rapture where the church is removed form tribulation and persecution and later a second coming but rather teaches that all who live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution (2 Tim 3:12) and Jesus himself said that when he comes he will gather His ELECT!. Elect has always meant “THE CHURCH”. Now the timing has always been at the heart of every believer. Darby sought to minimize the effect of what the bible actually teaches and what the Apostles clearly taught and the early church fathers spread. Which is, the rapture or (harpazo) of Christ and His Second Coming are the same event. Darby sought to crush this biblical doctrine for a more comfortable heresy. Yet everywhere in scripture the opposite is foretold. Matt 24:29-33, Rev 6:12-13, I Thess 4:13-5:11, Joel 2:10;15, Zechariah 12:9-12, Daniel 12:1-4, Isaiah 13:10, Eze 32:7. God, in His Word, has foretold how the times will go and how those (both Jew and Gentile) will be saved. Peter made this clear in Acts 4:12. No other name exists by which man must be saved. So if any teacher is teaching anything different than what the bible clearly says he’s teaching another gospel. Israel will be saved but BIBLICALLY the same way gentile believers were and are saved. Read Zechariah 12:9-10 and Romans 11 and see that God is not through with Israel but the way of Salvation hasn’t changed in all of our history. The Just shall live by faith. God’s plan for HIS chosen has and always will be the same because He chose us by His good Will. The Church will suffer persecution and see the antichrist and will be literally gathered but not how Darby has foretold. It is clear form what early church fathers wrote, “christians” have either been troubled by the end (darby, pre-tribbers) or they “the true church” look, wait and watch for the signs of the Coming of the Son of Man: Matthew 24:30. Many early fathers spoke against the pretrib escapism mentality and taught clear sound Apostolic Doctrine on endtime events:

“Those, therefore, who continue steadfast, and are put through the fire, will be purified by means of it. For as gold casts away its dross, so also will ye cast away all sadness and straitness, and will be made pure so as to fit into the building of the tower. But the white part is the age that is to come, in which the elect of God will dwell, since those elected by God to eternal life will be spotless and pure. Wherefore cease not speaking these things into the ears of the saints. This then is the type of the great tribulation that is to come.” —The Pastor of Hermas [160 AD]

Who are the ravening wolves but those deceitful senses and spirits which are lurking within to waste the flock of Christ? Who are the false prophets but deceptive predictors of the future? Who are the false apostles butthe preachers of a spurious gospel? Who also are the Antichrists, both now and evermore, but the men who rebel against Christ? Heresies, at the present time, will no less rend the church by their perversion of doctrine, than will Antichrist persecute her at that day by the cruelty of his attacks, except that persecution makes even martyrs, [but] heresy only apostates. —Tertullian, The Prescription Against Heretics [190-210 AD]

“And therefore throughout all time, man, having been molded at the beginning by the hands of God, that is, of the Son and of the Spirit, is made after the image and likeness of God: the chaff, indeed, which is the apostasy, being cast away; but the wheat, that is, those who bring forth fruit to God in faith, being gathered into the barn. And for this cause tribulation is necessary for those who are saved, that having been after a manner broken up, and rendered fine, and sprinkled over by the patience of the Word of God, and set on fire [for purification], they may be fitted for the royal banquet. As a certain man of ours said, when he was condemned to the wild beasts because of his testimony with respect to God: “I am the wheat of Christ, and am ground by the teeth of the wild beasts, that I may be found the pure bread of God.” Moreover, another danger, by no means trifling, shall overtake those who falsely presume that they know the name of Antichrist. For if these men assume one [number], when this [Antichrist] shall come having another, they will be easily led away by him, as supposing him not to be the expected one, who must be guarded againstÉ. It is therefore more certain, and less hazardous, to await the fulfillment of the prophecy, than to be making surmises, and casting about for any names that may present themselves, inasmuch as many names can be found possessing the number mentioned; and thesame question will, after all, remain unsolvedÉ. But he indicates the number of the name now, that when this man comes we may avoid him, being aware who he is. —Ireneaus, Against Heresies (Book 5) [182-188 AD]

Being questioned by His disciples when those things were to come to pass which He had just been uttering about the destruction of the temple, He discourses to them first of the order of Jewish events until the overthrow of Jerusalem, and then of such as concerned all nations up to the very end of the world. For after He had declared that “Jerusalem was to be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles should be fulfilled”—meaning, of course, those which were to be chosen of God, and gathered in with the remnant of Israel—He then goes on to proclaim, against this world and dispensation (even as Joel had done, and Daniel, and all the prophets with one consent), that “there should be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, distress of nations with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring, men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.” “For,” says He, “the powers of heaven shall be shaken; and then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh.” He spake of its “drawing nigh,” not of its being present already; and of “those things beginning to come to pass,” not of their having happened: because when they have come to pass, then our redemption shall be at hand, which is said to be approaching up to that time, raising and exciting our minds to what is then the proximate harvest of our hope. He immediately annexes a parable of this in “the trees which are tenderly sprouting into a flower-stalk, and then developing the flower, which is the precursor of the fruit.” “So likewise ye,” (He adds), “when ye shall see all these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of heaven is nigh at hand. Watch ye, therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all those things, and to stand before the Son of man;” that is, no doubt, at the resurrection, after all these things have been previously transacted. Therefore, although there is a sprouting in the acknowledgment of all this mystery, yet it is only in the actual presence of the Lord that the flower is developed and the fruit borne. Who is it then, that has aroused the Lord, now at God’s right hand, so unseasonably and with such severity to “shake terribly” (as Isaiah expresses it (“that earth,” which, I suppose, is as yet unshattered? Who has thus early put “Christ’s enemies beneath His feet” (to use the language of David), making Him more hurried than the Father, whilst every crowd in our popular assemblies is still with shouts consigning “the Christians to the lions?” Who has yet beheld Jesus descending from heaven in like manner as the apostles saw Him ascend, according to the appointment of the two angels? Up to the present moment they have not, tribe by tribe, smitten their breasts, looking on Him whom they pierced. No one has as yet fallen in with Elias; no one has as yet escaped from AntichristÉ. In the Revelation of John, again, the order of these times is spread out to view, which “the souls of the martyrs” are taught to wait for beneath the altar, whilst they earnestly pray to be avenged and judged: (taught, I say, to wait) … and that the beast Antichrist with his false prophet may wage war on the Church of God É Since, then, the Scriptures both indicate the stages of the last times, and concentrate the harvest of the Christian hope in the very end of the world. —Tertullian, On the Resurrection of the Flesh [190-210 AD]

Don’t fall for a false gospel and a erroneous doctrine.

With His Mighty Power

BL
“And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power, “driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 4:37-38

O you who dwell by many waters, Abundant in treasures, Your end has come, The measure of your covetousness. The LORD of hosts has sworn by Himself: “Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts, And they shall lift up a shout against you.” He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, And stretched out the heaven by His understanding. When He utters His voice-There is a multitude of waters in the heavens: “He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.” Jeremiah 51:13-16

There are those religious ones who feel that Evangelism and building of Churches is on the heart of God but the truth of the matter is that He is a God who exercises lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth and He has the power to kill and makes alive; bring down to the grave and brings up; make poor and make rich; bring low and lift up. (1 Samuel 2:6-7). And it is not a wise thing to stir him to anger for then people shall know His wrath. God’s word is unchanging:

‘Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. For I raise My hand to heaven, And say, “As I live forever, If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me. I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword shall devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.” ‘ “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.” Deuteronomy 32:39-43

Yes, the Lord who doesn’t change has promised “As I live forever, If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me. I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword shall devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.” But men are foolish and they don’t want to understand that what God has done before He can and will do again including blessing some and cursing others, delivering some and destroying others. His word is unchanging:

Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised- “Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.” Jeremiah 9:23-26

But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. Judge 1:5

Contrary to what foolish men may say and think God doesn’t have a problem destroying people, churches, or nations and making them to be a nonexistent thing. The bible and history is a testimony to this fact! He had destroyed Jerusalem quite a few times as well as the people in it. Where are the seven churches in Asia minor to whom Apostle John wrote them a letter as instructed by Jesus Christ? Nonexistent things! The Lord is a Savior and He is also the Judge, the righteous Judge, the Judge of all the earth. In righteousness He judges and makes war and judgment begins in the house of God. God’s word is unchanging:

“Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” Genesis 18:25

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Timothy 4:1

Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4;17

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. Revelations 19:11

God does judge people on earth even in the current time of life, but prayer allows God to change His mind. The word of God is full of people who interceded on behalf of those who were being judged and God change His mind. People like Aaron, Moses, David, Daniel and Hezekiah. His word is unchanging:

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

LACK NO GOOD THING :

Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. – Psalm 34:10, NLT

It’s easy to think, “If I had more money, I could accomplish my dreams. If I had this or that, or knew the right people, then I could do something great.” But as long as you feel like you’re lacking or that you were shortchanged, then you’ll make excuses to be less than your best.

Today, get a new perspective. God has given you exactly what you need for the season that you’re in. You have the talent, the friends, the connections, the resources, the experience you need for right now. It doesn’t mean that’s all you’re ever going to have. You may need more next month or next year. When that time comes, God will make sure that you have what you need. Because your trust is in the Lord, you don’t have to worry. You lack no good thing.

Remember, you are equipped, empowered and anointed for this moment. You are not lacking. You have what it takes. Rejoice because increase is coming. Promotion is coming. New opportunities are coming. You are ready for whatever may come because you put your faith and trust in Him.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for Your provision in my life. Today I declare that I trust You! You give me everything that I need as I rest and hope in You in Jesus’ name. Amen!

THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER :

ACTS 1:8 – But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Before Jesus went back to heaven, He told His disciples to “wait for the Promise of the Father”. (Acts 1:4) There are thousands of promises in the Bible, so which promise was He referring to?

The early church knew which promise Jesus was referring to because He had told His disciples, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the Promise of the Father, which you have heard Me speak about. For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” (Acts 1:4–5) Jesus was referring to the baptism in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:1–4)

Jesus wants you to know the value of the Promise of the Father because He said, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…” He did not say, “You shall do witnessing,” but “You shall be witnesses”. In other words, your very person will be a witness to Him!

This is because the power you receive when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit is the same power that so anointed Peter that the sick were laid on the streets for his shadow to fall on them and heal them. (Acts 5:15) Even handkerchiefs and aprons from Paul’s body were so saturated with the anointing of the Spirit that when they touched the sick, people witnessed diseases and evil spirits leaving the sick! (Acts 19:12)

That same power caused a Holy Spirit-baptized church member, who prayed in tongues, to experience God’s healing power when he laid hands on his mother who was in an advanced stage of cancer. And because she was healed, she became a witness of the love and power of God to her friends and unbelieving relatives.

Beloved, when you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, you will be a witness to others that no problem, trial, disease or sickness is a match for the power of the Spirit in you!

THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO THE FATHER :

John 14:5 “Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?”

Thomas knew Jesus. He just didn’t realize Jesus was “the way.” Likewise, people today know portions of God’s Word but they don’t realize that God’s Word is their way to victory. Often, people cry out for God to speak to them while their Bible lays unopened on their nightstand. God has spoken to us through His Word. We just need to believe it and receive its truths as our way to victory.

Jesus didn’t say: “I am a way, a truth, and a life.” He claimed to be the only way, truth, and life. No man can come to the Father except through Jesus. This means that anyone who claims to honor Jesus while advocating other ways to get to God, truth, or life, besides Jesus, is deceived or a deceiver.

Jesus’ claims about Himself, of which there is only one, left no room for other means to salvation. He is either who He says He is, or He is the greatest deceiver of all time. His own statements about Himself leave no other alternatives. Therefore, other religions that recognize Jesus and His teachings as wonderful examples, but don’t believe He is the only way to achieve salvation, are false.

The Word of God is a spiritual book written under the direction of the Holy Spirit. It was not written to our head but to the innermost part of our heart. This is why some people find the Bible so hard to understand. They are trying to comprehend it using only their mind. The Word of God has to inspire our heart before it can enlighten our mind.

WHEN TOUGH TIMES COME :

Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied. – Acts 9:31

There are times when life on this earth is hard and uncomfortable…and even downright painful. When those times come, you deeply need the comfort that only the Holy Spirit can bring.

How do you receive that kind of comfort?

By doing just what the believers in Acts did. By “walking in the fear of the Lord.”

Now, when I talk about “the fear of the Lord,” please understand, I’m not saying you should be afraid of God. He’s your Father! You should be as secure and unafraid when you come before Him as a child who knows he is dearly loved. But you must also have so much respect for Him that whenever He reveals something you need to do, you do it immediately– even if it goes against your natural desires. That’s walking in the fear of the Lord.

Let me show you what I mean. Once, several years ago, I received a very disturbing phone call shortly before I was to preach at one of our meetings. It was painful news about a situation in which one of my children had been wronged. The news of it wounded my heart.

I cried, and in the natural, I wanted to get angry about it, to strike back in some way. But instead, I began praying in other tongues. As I prayed, I was prompted in my spirit to rejoice and praise the Lord.

I certainly didn’t feel like praising. I felt like stomping my foot. But, out of respect to the Lord, I put my feelings aside and obeyed. Next, the Holy Spirit impressed me to read a particular prophecy. As I did, I could tell I was being strengthened.

Then suddenly, I realized I was free. By my obedience, I had opened myself to the comforting power of the Holy Spirit. The anger and pain that had filled me just moments before were gone! They had been replaced by the gentle love and reassurance of the Lord.

No matter how tough or painful a situation you may be facing today, trust and obey the directions of your Father. He will make that same supernatural, Holy Spirit-inspired comfort available to you!

DE
He Who Hates Correction Is Stupid

My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:11-12

Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 12:11

Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, But he who regards a rebuke will be honored. Proverbs 13:18

Those who disagree with God’s word or add or remove things from it are not going to prosper in God just as sure as the sun rises each day! God’s word is true no matter what anybody thinks about it. The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory.

Yes it’s God, not Satan or men, who wounds and kills. The latter are only vessels but it’s God who has all authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18) and who does all these things because He is the righteous judge. It is God who promotes and demotes. It is God who works on us from both directions. He sent the curse to turn us from sin, and He sent our Savior to deliver those that do. And He tell us, “I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal.” So if we cooperate with Him, we shall be saved, healed, delivered, blessed and prospered but if we don’t we shall become sick and die for God’s word is unchanging:

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”

If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.

Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears Hebrews 12:1-17

One of the primary reasons God’s people are chastised and miss the blessings of God is because of unrepentance and unbelief. All of God’s blessings are conditional on our repentance and believing. God’s meets us at the point of our need when we meet His conditions, and not before! God’s ministers who are in agreement with God administer His gifts of healing, deliverance, and provision to the ones who are in line for God’s blessings through repentance, faith, and justification. And that is why many don’t get healed because they have not meet God’s conditions. God’s word is unchanging:

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, Acts 3:19

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30

Physically we are what we eat. Spiritually we are what we spiritually eat. By consuming and digesting and obeying the Word of God, we are delivered from the curse and manifest our sonship and blessings! When God makes a condition in the Word for His benefits, we must meet that condition. The gospel is the power of God to salvation for everyone who repents and believes (Romans 1:16). We cannot expect God’s provisions without believing His Word?

Many unbelieving “Christians” endure much hardship because they have not met the condition of “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.”; “your faith has made you well.”; and “According to your faith let it be to you.” Unbelief robs many of God’s people of many blessings. In His own home town, Jesus could not do many mighty works because of their unbelief (Matthew 13:58; Mark 6:5). So if we have a problem, we should blame ourselves first, not the devil or others, for God’s word is unchanging:

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7

“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:37-38

God is God, and there is no other; He is God, and there is none like Him, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man who executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it. (Isaiah 46:9-11). God is actively involved in everything to do His pleasure and He does it by the words that He puts into the mouth of His servants. God’s word is unchanging:

Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9

Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

You Will Receive

BA
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19-9

“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:22

God is faithful and eager to perform His Word in our life (Jeremiah 1:12) and His Angels who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word are more than able to make it all so (Psalm 103:20). But we must stand and confess God’s word and call things forth just like God did and Jesus did. Yes, they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did, (Romans 4:17) is mindful of us and He is perfecting everything that concerns us (Psalm 138:8). His word is unchanging to His true ones:

Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Then said I: “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD. Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” And the word of the LORD came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”

Then the LORD said to me: “Out of the north calamity shall break forth On all the inhabitants of the land. For behold, I am calling All the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the LORD; “They shall come and each one set his throne At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, Against all its walls all around, And against all the cities of Judah. I will utter My judgments Against them concerning all their wickedness, Because they have forsaken Me, Burned incense to other gods, And worshiped the works of their own hands. “Therefore prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them. For behold, I have made you this day A fortified city and an iron pillar, And bronze walls against the whole land- Against the kings of Judah, Against its princes, Against its priests, And against the people of the land. They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.” Jeremiah 1:4- 19

Yes the Lord has put His words in our mouth and we can speak the words He have give us against the whole land- against the kings, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land. He has set us the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant. He is with us to deliver us and give us the victory! His word is unchanging:

“Then I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. ‘The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, ‘and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ Deuteronomy 1:29-31

“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt. “So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people. “And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; ‘for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.'(to give you victory)!

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. Romans 16:20

God who doesn’t know the word defeat has promised Victory to His trusting ones and He will give them victory and crush Satan under their feet and they shall tread the high places of their enemies for they have God’s word on it (Deuteronomy 33:26-29, ) God’s word is unchanging:

He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken in pieces; From heaven He will thunder against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king, And exalt the horn of His anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:9-10

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. “This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. “Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’S, and He will give you into our hands.” So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hastened and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David. Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. 1 Samuel 17:45-51

Then Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to Mareshah. So Asa went out against him, and they set the troops in battle array in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. And Asa cried out to the LORD his God, and said, “LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O LORD our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O LORD, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!” So the LORD struck the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled. And Asa and the people who were with him pursued them to Gerar. So the Ethiopians were overthrown, and they could not recover, for they were broken before the LORD and His army. And they carried away very much spoil. Then they defeated all the cities around Gerar, for the fear of the LORD came upon them; and they plundered all the cities, for there was exceedingly much spoil in them. They also attacked the livestock enclosures, and carried off sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem. 2 Chronicles 14:9-15
