Jesus Warns of Offenses

BE

Luke 17:
1    Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
2    It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
3    Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4    And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

EVANGELICALS WANT YOU TO FORGIVE PEOPLE OF ANY AND EVERY SIN AGAINST YOU EVEN IF THEY DON’T REPENT OF THEIR SIN? THEY IGNORE THE FACT THAT JESUS WARNED PEOPLE OF THEIR OFFENSES AND NEED TO REPENT?

AND THERE ARE SOME SINS AND PEOPLE  THAT EVEN GOD DOESN’T FORGIVE. HE DIDN’T FORGIVEN THE AMALEKITES FOR WHAT THEY DID TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL

EXODUS 17: Victory over the Amalekites
8    Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
9    And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.”
10    So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
11    And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12    But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13    So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
14    Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”
15    And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner;
16    for he said, “Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

AND GOD DIDN’T FORGIVE SAUL FOR NOT DESTROYING THE AMALEKITES AS HE HAD COMMANDED HIM TO DO?
1  Samuel 15
1    Samuel also said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the LORD.
2    Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, how he ambushed him on the way when he came up from Egypt.
3    Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ”
4    So Saul gathered the people together and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand foot soldiers and ten thousand men of Judah.
5    And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley
6 Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, get down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
7    And Saul attacked the Amalekites, from Havilah all the way to Shur, which is east of Egypt.
8    He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
9    But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.
10    Now the word of the LORD came to Samuel, saying,
11    “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the LORD all night.
12    So when Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul, it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul went to Carmel, and indeed, he set up a monument for himself; and he has gone on around, passed by, and gone down to Gilgal.”
13    Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the LORD! I have performed the commandment of the LORD.”
14    But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?”
15    And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the LORD your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.”
16     Then Samuel said to Saul, “Be quiet! And I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak on.”
17    So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the LORD anoint you king over Israel?
18    Now the LORD sent you on a mission, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’
19    Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD? Why did you swoop down on the spoil, and do evil in the sight of the LORD?”
20    And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
21    But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”
22    So Samuel said: ” Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
23     For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king.”

32 Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag king of the Amalekites here to me.” So Agag came to him cautiously. And Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.” 33    But Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

GOD DIDN’T FORGIVE JUDAS FOR BETRAYING JESUS? HE CURSED JUDAS WITH WOE TO …
Matthew 26:24 The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”

GOD DIDN’T FORGIVE ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRA FOR LYING TO THE HOLY SPIRIT?
Acts 5:
1    But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession.
2    And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
3    But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?
4    While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
5    Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things.
6    And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.
GOD HAS ALSO PROMISED TO BLOT OUT NAMES OF CHRISTIANS FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE WHO HAVE NOT REPENTED FOR BEING DEAD
Revelation 3
1    “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
2    Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3     Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
4    You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

SO IDIOTS WHO DON’T PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL AND THE WHOLE TRUTH ARE IN TROUBLE WITH GOD?
Hebrews 10
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
27    but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.
28    Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29    Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30    For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.”
31    It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
